Sorry for lack of blogging. For some reason, there has been a quite extraordinary rush of interest in the film rights of Murder in Samarkand, and I have been involved in some complex and frankly exhausting negotiations. I will keep you posted.

Great news about the possible film deal, although as others have pointed out, you can’t trust them as far as you could throw them. Loved David Hare’s version for BBC, but would have liked it to be longer… Just goes to show you can’t please everyone.
My copy of MIS from Amazon arrived today, by sheer coincidence, so I’m taking that as a sign of good things to come on this project… 🙂
From what I can see above in Mark’s post, does it mean that Dirty Diplomacy is the same book as MIS, but with a few more details?
