As a former rugby captain I can remember how easy it was to incite a few friends to violence, admittedly of a rather stylised sort. But I occasionally wondered where the real boundaries were – if there were any.
It’s a wise and important observation that in the same circumstances as a bastard, we might be bastards too – but in the Stanford study and others like it, there were always a few people who refused to take part. Yes, it is commonly found that most people behave badly when given power. But what we are observing in our MPs is that they *all* behave badly, with not a whisper of dissent.
It seems career politicians are not truly representative of the general population, at least a few of whom would protest at barbarity. Oops, I’m back to sortition again.

Can’t remember doing that, for some reason (opens next bottle of wine, licks mouthful of peanuts from palm of hand) because they look horridly iffy to me. Very wrapped up in the EU, and therefore seem to be people who think you can pick up a turd by the clean end. Their website has this marvellous line:

…….the man is anything but a fool (i.e. incapable of understanding the facts and the issues) and it is quite impossible that he holds the US/UK/Israel in such high moral regard, or is so ignorant of history that he could consider such a ‘false flag’ event an impossibility! Remember also that this is the man who famously thundered that western sanctions on Saddam Hussein’s Iraq had cost hundreds of thousands of children their lives. He fought the good fight for noble causes, however the media might have continually smeared him. This observer remains grateful for his presence on the political stage, but…….

‘Avaaz’ (sometimes spelt ‘Avaz’) means ‘voice’ in Urdu and many even distantly related languages. It’s the name of lots of newspapers. I haven’t checked-out this one though.

In just a few posts we have penetrated to the very heart of several intelligence agencies, their modus operandi, the goals of nuclear dominance and maintenance of schemes that govern the ‘sig blocks’ or target coordinates to deploy tactical shells, nuclear cruise and ICBM’s.
Work exists right now (with the Galileo GPS syatem stalled)on how the West can effectively subvert the Beidou GPS system being developed by China for which already the system receiver design parameters are known to Iran.
The American GPS or Talon NAMATH system can of course be restricted hence the desire for alternate systems to despatch nuclear bombs and shells within an accuracy of less than 5m of target.

Yes, the Korean situation is very worrying. I wonder what the truth of it all is. Conducting military exercises and the various attacks, etc. seem absolutely crazy but after all these years somebody is orchestrating all this – I suspect it’s not what it seems or what we are hearing. I have no sympathy with North Korea, but I think we need to question the received narrative here – we have nothing to lose by doing so. Mark do you think this situation has soemthing to do with your info. re. China, etc.?

My wife also retired 6 years ago. We paid off our mortgage and I have a Pension which is just about enough to live on…
She used to work for a Bank in the City of London, but gave it up when our Second Baby was born because she wanted to be a Full Time Mum – at home – to bring up Our Children
