Brown with really weird grin now.
Brown with really weird grin now.
Strangely irrelevant personal attack on Brown by Cameron.
Brown some strange ad hominem rant about “You never forget you teacher, you remember your teacher”. Most of mine were bastards.
Brown claims to be “interested in social mobility” – which is why he has given us the lowest social ,obility in the OECD. Cameron sounding like Taraara Palmer-Prostitute in full gush “I think what you teachers do is just amazing!”.
Wow this is getting amazingly banal. Gordon just promised to link pensions to earnings in 2012 “when we will have the resources to do so”. What planet is he on? By 2012 the state finances will be totally fucked on every projection.
I’ve never claimed any state benefit in a pretty hard life. Maybe I can give it all up and become one of these scroungers, who apparently have such a good life.
A genuine fat bigot askes a question. Good to remember that, just because Gordon called someone a bigot, doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Lady who asked the housing question looking entirely unconvinced by the answers. Nick didn’t explain the LIbDem new jome policy well – at present if you convert, renovate or expand you pay VAT, if you build greenfiled you don’t.
Immigration debate degenerating into nasty farce.
Cameron attacking the Lib Dems over immigration amnesty again. Is he actually planning to deport his very low estimate of 600,000 people. Using the army? How to transport them?
Brown wants to create jobs for people in this country. He has done a remarkably bad job of that for the last few years.
Cameron says new EU countries should have transitional controls on immigration. Err, they do, David. That’s why Bulgaria and Romania are in the EU but their citizens don’t have the right to come here.
Almost halfway through, Dimbleby says. Feels like half my life. Well done the SNP and Plaid who at least forced Dimbleby to acknowledge their existence.
Someone commenting I am sad doing this – several thousand people following the website tonight must be still sadder!
Clegg makes very strong point about RBS funding Kraft takeover of Cadbury. Stumbles a bit, but somehow made it more convincing.
Brown giving a really unconvincing list as to which economic sectors will provide which number of jobs in future. “Bio-engineering 100,000 jobs, renewable energy 300,000 jobs, information technology 200,000 jobs” – those aren’t actually the exact quotes, but it sounded just like nonsense so the exact numbers and sectors don’t matter. This time he was the regional economic planner for Murmansk in 1965 – oh God, he’s started with another list again just now…
Wow Brown just seems petulant now. This was meant to be his gravitas loaded winning performance. He just seems ratty. Cameron’s presentation getting sharper.
Feeble populist and very simplistic attack on Lib Dems by Cameron over the Euro.
Clegg better on banks second time round. Brown still proposing to do bugger all about the banks, but promising bugger all very noisily now.
Cameron actually not bad on banks. Clegg good in a populist way. Brown proposing to do bugger all about the banks.
