Foreign Policy Debate chat #50
Precisely the same immigration discussion we had last week.
Precisely the same immigration discussion we had last week.
That time the director knew the Cameron”Joke” was coming and cut away to the planted audience members with split second timing.
Brown seems not to have been around when the economics collaps happened. A big boy did it and ran away.
Brown keeps doing a hokey cokey thing with his hands now. Discussion got really dull.
Gordon outlining how committees of those who bankrupted the economy are the answer.
Clegg speaking well on elderly care so Boulton tries to stop him on spurious grounds of irrelevancy. Clegg is more relevant than most of them have been most of the time.
Cameron thinks “It is disgraceful to try to frighten people in an election campaign.” But the Tories have been saying “Get a hung parliament and the bankers will collapse the economy.”
Haward has not seen any of my posts and he quite independently just said “Cameron’s been briefed. He knows when the Sky director’s going to put the Cameron on him.”
Brown again sounding good on pension promises but he’s been in power for thirteen years.
Cameron – “If you work hard and save you get punished”. Really? Is that true?
Cameron on personal responsibility schtick – popular stuff, I suspect.
Brown’s answers too long.
Boulton seeks to smear Clegg by bringing up the front page of the Telegraph. Cameron hiding behind his media backers again.
Brown on how to make democracy better as though he hadn’t had thirteen years to do it.
International affairs – truly feeble. Europhobia, “War on Terror”, Global Warming and the Pope.
I don’t want the Pope here. We’ve got our own Nazis.
Sky director cut to a bloke yawning while Brown speaking. Wonder if Director had that set up, like the Tories laughing at Cameron’s “joke”.
Very sensible question. Sadly nobody has the balls to say the Pope is a nutjob.
Sky director shows Cameron talking straight to camera for long periods, but cuts away continually when Clegg and Brown talk, to chop them up and not show them straight to camera.
Cameron has made no attempt to defend his nutjob allies in Europe.
