“We never get tired of each other” – which means you make a determined effort Craig to keep your energy levels high.
and some nice comments are there on russian version of Radio Freedom
She looks like she is ready to lead us Craig.
I was surprised with the unrestricted interview. Is this typical in Uzbekistan? I’ve never been there but would have thought “Murder in Samarkand” might have been restricted reading at least.
Good to know you two are both creative in your different art disciplines and that your tastes are similar.
Hi John,
It’s Kazakh radio, not Uzbek!
What a beautiful lady! And a very interesting interview.
Craig and John Goss,
It is not even a Kazakh radio, it is Radio Free Europe’s internet version in Kazakh language. This radio’s broadcasting is banned in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran. http://www.rferl.org/info/about/176.html. Radio was set uo some 60 years ago in New York, their headquarters now in Washington. here is more: http://www.rferl.org/info/about/176.html

Its Radio Free Europe.
I must pay closer attention. Thanks.
Good to hear that the foreign mediab is not playing the BBC’s playground games. Well done Nadira.
Pretty weird that this propaganda arm of the US empire give an interview to the wife of someone who exposed CIA complicity in Karimov’s torture?

Look at the names there.
Mary,
If it’s serving their broader interest, they don’t sweat the small stuff.
You’ve got great insights about Books, keep up the good work!
“If it’s serving their broader interest, they don’t sweat the small stuff.” Craig.

Plus, they like to keep an eye on what oppositional elements are thinking and doing – and what better way to do that than through interviews in print or on the air? Plus, it renders unto their ops an aura of ‘balance’ and open-mindedness.

Nonethless, it’s great to get such exposure. As Orpheus might have intoned, if the Devil wants to hear one’s finest, most angelic music, one ought not to demur!

A triumph, indeed.
