Genuinely sad to be leaving Florianapolis. Wonderful place and lovely people. I haven’t liked a new place so much in a long time. I found my ideas very well received indeed. That seems increasingly to be the case in places as diverse as Brazil, Germany, South Africa and India. There genuinely seems a renewed interest in radicalism among young people. Wars of resource grab, state transfers of money to the bankers and the general lack of genuine democratic choice or deep media inquiry are bound to produce this kind of reaction. Otherwise the human spirit is dead.

It isn’t.

Signed hundreds of books. The publisher sold all the new copies brought down to Florianapolis, despite the fact that most of the copies I signed were brought along by the owners, already bought and evidently much read. It seems they get handed around, which is great. At book signings everyone wants a photo, which actually I find rather nice. It is always good to have an excuse to put a photo of a pretty girl on the blog to cheer everyone up!!

Off to Sao Paolo next, then home which I am really looking forward to. It is lovely here but I miss my family. One great advantage of being here is that I don’t have to see the war criminal Blair and his smarmy self-justification at the Leveson Inquiry.

I don’t think that there is a video record of my main speech in Florianapolis, but I will check.

    Dear Mr. Murray,
the video footage of your lecture at the Federal University of Santa Catarina will very soon be available. And we will let you know when it happens.

We, at the organizing committee, are very pleased to know you enjoyed your stay in Florianopolis.
Have safe trip to Sao Paulo and then to the UK.

    Best regards,
    Lucas Brandao

  • glenn_uk

My mates in Buenos Aires would love to see you drop by, since you’re on the continent. An extended book and lecture tour on the whole subcontinent would probably do your spirits a world of good.

And before anybody suggests Steven Castro Conte should get over to Sao Paulo, its 1679 miles.

Ask Craig if you can send him an airticket Steven, he might just have an extra day, who knows, Brazilians seem to understand the urgency with what to pursue international human rights.
    occupy must evolve.
    Viva la terra.

Watching pt 1 of Afghanistan : The Great Game by Rory Stewart (Tory MP, ex -Dep Governor of Iraq) Very interesting -especially with regards to the prominence of Burnes in the narrative. Have a look – it’s fascinating. Interesting to learn your take on this programme Craig! Stewart has just described the demise of Burnes

Blair is like a gold fish swimming in shit ask him what the water is like and he will Say “shitty” with a smile

Whats with this policy of diversity with regards to our present moral decline should we find it at the pinnacle.

What are your opinions regarding these issues diversity. Is this diversity all part of our exported democracy.

Why then are we fighting our natural instincts of the majority of us so we can accomadate all our differences.

The same forces are at work to destabilise our society from here to timbuktoo.

  • Rodrigo Santiago Juaçaba

    Dear Craig,

I’m the guy that had a whisky with you on friday. I just want to thank you for the lecture, besides the fact that you were so nice and friendly. You are an inspiring man for all of us, and I mean it.

    Best Wishes,
    Rodrigo.

More on Blair and his grubby and revolting money making. Campbell appears to be working for him too. This time is Kazakhstan. The piece is written by Nick Cohen who heavily supported Blair’s illegal war on Iraq.

Got the lot covered here from BigPharma to Rockefeller, Miss Lumley’s Gurkhas to NWO stooge Kofi Annan and even Lady Porter’s Every Little Helps outfit. Only name missing is Kissinger’s

    Ref the Gurkas. A visit to Aldershot is not recommended. It is in a very run down state with many empty shops and other buildings. The army has mostly gone. There are always groups of elderly Nepalese standing around in the precincts looking quite lonely. Attempts to converse fail as they cannot understand what you are saying and there is local animosity against them on housing and other issues. A sad situation. Lumley is well out of it in her homes in London and Scotland. She has so many other ’causes’.{http://www.gethampshire.co.uk/news/s/2114339_gurkhas_club_together_for_mod_request}

    Another nation-state scale malware attack:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-18238326 (“Iran and Israel”)
    .
“Discovered by Iran” is a headline that seems conspicuous by its absence. There is little that this software cannot do; it gains complete control of any infected machine:
    .
    http://www.computing.co.uk/ctg/news/2180410/flame-virus-undetectable-son-stuxnet-uncovered-middle-east
    .
Also interestingly absent from either article is any clue as to who this thing sends the data back to. It’s been “in the wild”, undetected, for years, so they say.

  • nevermind

What do we know, Clark, the idea behind the virus obviously was to not get detected, a spy that gathers material and does not interfere much unless one lets it. Does anybody know how long this has been operating?

Now that it did get detected, are there any indications that it has breached the TOR system?
Thanks for the great link to Camerons coms directors, Mary, even the coughs and splutters did not give him a hint that the cameras were still running.

Green Machine – Would you agree that Alexander Burnes is a baddie in Rory Stewart’s eyes? I found it an interesting programme. Apart from the travelogue aspects, there was a deal of historical and military content. He is certainly well connected but rather strange in the way he walks around Kabul as if there is nothing happening there. He always gives the impression of being a solitary person. Perhaps he was given special protection for this film. We have talked about him before and his unusual biog. I never saw him ending up as an MP in Cumbria.

Polly Toynbee’s not very bright if she doesn’t realize she’s answered her own question here:
    .
The Blair at Leveson has travelled far from the man who first stepped into No 10 that May morning among a crowd of rose-wavers. The mystery is why he has been so reckless with his reputation since leaving office. Why use his ex-leader prestige to earn obscene sums of money, channelled through opaque companies, keeping bad company in a jet-set of plutocrats, none sharing the social concerns he once had?
    .
Okay, kids, why did Tony Blair sell his principles for millions and millions of pounds?

Thanks for that link Konmodo. Tom Watson throws up the question, just ‘who are Falcon and Associates?’ in it. Looking at their portfolio, a ‘sports company’ organising international media and/or conferences.
Quiet unusually Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum had to establish a law to create this business portal. Being based in Dubai means that it is probably involved in various businesses.
MbRaM also is the master over various security outfits.
    This one looks interesting.

Well, that’s Toynbee’s thesis. Did I mention that I think she might not be that bright?
