Only Sweat the Small Stuff 922

I was called by a journalist yesterday who told me that in Dewsbury six years ago I shared a platform with Baroness Warsi’s now husband at a meeting against the persecution of Muslims. Sadly I couldn’t really help him as at the time I was doing hundreds such events and have only the dimmest of recollections of that one.

It is not merely amusing that Cameron refers Warsi for investigation for allegedly pocketing a couple of thousand quid while protecting Hunt who tried so hard to shepherd the Murdoch BSkyB bid past the winning post, while pretending to referee the event.

Nor is the lesson just that a Muslim woman will always be expendable while a fully paid up member of the ruling class will be less so.

The truth is that to trip up an MP over a little cash does not threaten the system. To tackle the massive institutional corruption by which corporate interests control the British state is a different question altogether.

Hunt is of course not the only case not to be referred. Nor was the Adam Werritty debacle, where rather than the proper investigative procedures Cameron organised a tidy little stitch-up by Gus O’Donnell which omitted almost all the key facts and particularly did not say what the entire scheme was about – the promotion of the interests of Israel. The Murdoch Empite, the Israeli lobby, these are amongst the interests that actually run the exploited citizenry of this poor wracked old country. Every now and then glimpses of truth emerge.

But must not be pursued.

Stuxnet carries a 500kb payload and is capable of interfering with a wide range of controllers made by Siemens. I think one should look at the actions of the German government immediately after Fukushima and ask if that is a rational response to a tsunami on the other side of the planet.
    .
The hoped for scenario by the creators is obvious when one looks at where Stuxnet first appeared and the fact that country still has 95% of the reported cases of Stuxnet. Obviously the creators did not envisage the truly global disaster that has been Fukushima, perhaps it was intended to only interfere with centrifuges, either way it is an act of absolute criminal lunacy to attempt to create a nuclear disaster. You won’t be hearing anyone say that on TV.

  • *** ***

Komodo – I can honestly say I have absolutely no idea what you are on about. Maybe you’re thinking too hard – lol.

“I think one should look at the actions of the German government immediately after Fukushima and ask if that is a rational response to a tsunami on the other side of the planet.”
    .
Also consider this – Germany had decades of civil strife aimed against it’s nuclear program. I remember regularly seeing demonstrators laying across railway line etc. to stop nuclear fuel being transported around the country.
    .
Now, the German government did not budge one iota from it’s position despite the protests and general lack of enthusiasm for nuclear power, instead it assured the public of the exceptional safety of the engineering.
    .
Now three N-plants (one would be bad, two an unbelievable coincidence) melt down on the other side of the planet and within days the entire German nuclear power generating system, working happily away since the 70’s, is simply switched off.
    .
    Why?

  • *** ***

Why was that not deemed significant news in Europe and elsewhere? A major industrial nation overnight abandons nuclear energy and it’s a minor news story. Not even an interview with a single anti-nuclear peep to say how happy they are?

  • Anon

German still has more nuclear power online right now than the UK does. There seems to be a myth thy have shut it all down already.

  • Mary

Lord Justice Leveson went overboard at the outset in thanking Miliband for his excellent submission to the inquiry. Must like the boy.

  • Anon

“the entire German nuclear power generating system, working happily away since the 70′s, is simply switched off.
    .
    Why?”
    .
That is simply not true. Seven German nuclear reactors are currently operational with a further two down for maintenance and these are scheduled to restart.

The ‘Cameron leaves kid in pub’ is a PR exercise similar to’ MI6 Chief’s wife posts Speedo trunk photos on Facebook’ and ‘MI5 Chief stopped in security queue at airport on return from holiday’.

People get paid simply to concoct this rubbish.

It’s to make those managers of the power structures seem more human, so that we empathise with them when they decide to lie and bomb and invade another country and kill lots of people.

    Clark,
Dig deeper and you will find the stuff. Fact is perhaps you are too young to remember the oil pipe explosions of the USSR era, these were due to the runaway pumps that periodically kicked in for no apparent reason, the software at the time for the PLC were tampered with and given so many hours of operation would kick in a run away. The controllers of course were sold by the US firms to the Russians.
    ,
Do you recollect the NEC printer that was sold to Iraq, and smuggled in through Jordan, and given a set of circumstances would spike the early warning system of the Iraqis? This was during the Iraq war 1
    ,
However This time around the virus has got out and so the result is what you see around the world.
    ,
Historically US has played a pernicious role in making unacceptable and intolerable to become accepted practice, you need only to scratch the surface, to find even more heinous crimes against humanity and all things that is moral and good.
    ,
During the 1960s CIA staff were spiking the milk trucks carrying milk for school children in Cuba with all manner of evil/nasty bacteria to cause illness and injury to the children who had drank the milk, their (CIA) underlying notion being causing distrust between the people and the communist party.

  • Clark

Fedup, I discovered some pipeline incidents that were probably control system sabotage when I was looking into Stuxnet, and of course the US is responsible for all manner of covert interference, but I see no reason to believe, and various strong reasons to disbelieve, that Stuxnet had anything to do with Fukushima; the Fukushima reactors are older than the targeted Siemens PLC system and didn’t use them, for instance. That doesn’t mean that the US bears no responsibility in other ways.
    .
    I’m part way through Langner’s presentation now…

  • guano

    Clark, for example:
    DownWithThisSortOfThing
    7 Mar, 2012 – 9:05 am
” Jews, Christians, Moslems and other religious believers are simply suffering from the world’s only known contagious psychosis.
    .
We live in a world where being curious and questioning events is seen as being a “conspiracy theorist” and believing a “conspiracy theory” is being promoted as a mental health issue and yet as the leader of a country you can say “God told me to invade” or “God promised us this land” to justify your crimes against humanity and nobody bats an eyelid let alone drags them off in a straight-jacket.
    .
What amazes me is how easy it is to debunk religion and yet, through fear of death or a desire for immortality, perfectly sane and rational people genuinely believe in the ridiculous old claptrap.”
    Quote 2:

“If people understand the origins of Judaism then the entire edifice of Zionism will collapse. The story of Zionism, Judaism and it’s Eastern European creators is so well understood that I simply can’t believe that people would rather stick their head above the parapet to repeat known falsities and lies rather than do their own research.
    .
Shlomo Sands (professor of history, Tel Aviv) book “The Invention of The Jewish people” might get some of you to at least break that conditioning you have had from a lifetime of exposure to lies and falsities. Some of you even appear to be running scared of the Lobby. Pathetic, no wonder they have such contempt.
    .
The problem you fear is that when you understand this you too will see that there is no alternative but to revoke Israel’s statehood and give the land back to it’s rightful owners. Now that their is no Soviet block the Jews should go back to Gerogia, Russia, Poland, Ukraine etc.”
    .
So what DWTSOT is saying is that the project of Israel and Zionism is merely an invention to give credibility to the charade of Christianity, while the world is actually governed by cynical power brokers with no values at all.
==> Islam is a similar invention.
    ==> sigh.
God is the Creator, Knower, Owner of every atom or other than that of the entire Universe and beyond, and He will resurrect us on the day of reckoning.
Which is the bigger con? The con that Zionism is a fabrication to convince people that they are being ruled by a moral authority or, the fabrication that these cynical political manipulators are not under the Knowledge and Jurisdiction of Allah.
*** ***, for you, religion is just politics, but for us Muslims politics is just pissing in the wind.

Linus Torvalds: Linux succeed thanks to selfishness and trust
    By Leo KelionTechnology reporter
    .
Linus Torvalds developed Linux in 1991 while at the University of Helsinki, Finland. He became a US citizen in 2010.
    .
Linux creator Linus Torvalds will find out later if he has won the Millennium Technology Prize and an accompanying cheque for about 1m euros ($1.3m; £800,000) from the Technology Academy of Finland.
    .
He has been nominated for the award in recognition of his creation of the original Linux operating system and his continued work deciding what modifications should be made to its kernel – the code that lets software and hardware work together.
    .
Today variants of the system power much of the world’s computer servers, set-top boxes, smartphones, tablets, network routers, PCs and supercomputers.

1st Hague and now Rasmussen. NATO have no plans to attack Syria. Guess that means it is imminent.
Russia has electronic interference in place and combat units on standby plus there’s a pile of helicopters being delivered.China are supporting the same position as Russia on Syria in the SC.
MSM propoganda is reaching fever pitch and the body counts they’ve been spouting for months are becoming only too real.
Any NATO member state coming under attack shall be supported militarily by all members.
The only thing missing is the fuse, and I guess that will be a false flag on some innocent NATO mission.
There is one country in the region that is famous for its false flag operations and I’m sure they are dying to take the leading role.
So after the Euro, it will be West v East.

Much of the credit for Linux actually belongs to the inventors of UNIX, Bell Labs engineers Thompson, Ritchie, Ossanna, and Canaday. All Linux distros – and the Mac OS – are direct descendants of this, (much as even Windows 7 is still based on MSDOS. The difference is that UNIX was originally designed to be infinitely expandable and adaptable for commercial use, while MSDOS was merely designed to be sold to private users.) Linux from the command line is UNIX; Linux’s advantage is , simply speaking, to provide GUI’s and cut down on the typing.
    .
Ritchie was additionally central to the development of the programming language “C” and its descendants C++ and C# – still languages of choice for serious programmers. Unfortunately posthumous Nobels are not allowed.
    .
This is not to decry Thorvalds. He has maintained the open-source principle throughout, and ensured the continued existence of a viable alternative to the near-monopoly of Windows. Linux is used in the majority of net servers and medium-large networks, as well as in peripherals like wireless hubs and even phones. People like me use it instead of Windows because it is (a) free (b) not bloatware and (c) does not describe my daily doings to Mr. Gates.
    .
Given that Thorvalds’ project has fundamentally affected every aspect of computing today, yeah, give him a Nobel. He deserves it more than some of the crooks who have managed to wangle one.

What really intrigues me, Donny, is that there seems to be a serious rapprochement going on between Russia and China, reading between the lines of some non-Western news items. Syria may well turn into a focus for some really serious nastiness. It already looks as if Putin is announcing that this is where the erosion of Russian influence stops.

NATO preparing vast disinformation campaign in Syria
    .
Member States of NATO and the GCC are preparing a coup d’état and a sectarian genocide in Syria. If you want to prevent these crimes, you should act now: circulate this article on the Internet and alert your elected officials.

    .
    by Thierry Meyssan
    .

In a few days, perhaps as early as Friday, June 15, at noon, the Syrians wanting to watch their national TV stations will see them replaced on their screens by TV programs created by the CIA. Studio-shot images will show massacres that are blamed on the Syrian Government, people demonstrating, ministers and generals resigning from their posts, President Al-Assad fleeing, the rebels gathering in the big city centers, and a new government installing itself in the presidential palace.
    .

Ben Rhodes, who wears hats as a foreign policy speechwriter, deputy national security adviser and sometimes administration spokesman (photo)…
    .
This operation of disinformation, directly managed from Washington by Ben Rhodes, the US deputy national security adviser for strategic communication, aims at demoralizing the Syrians in order to pave the way for a coup d’etat. NATO, discontent about the double veto of Russia and China, will thus succeed in conquering Syria without attacking the country illegally. Whichever judgment you might have formed on the actual events in Syria, a coup d’etat will end all hopes of democratization.

Your prediction that Karimov’s daughter Gulnara will come to London as an ambassador hasn’t turned out to be realistic. There will be a new uzbek ambassador in London soon with Kgb background and sadistic torture experience.
