    Just look at their methods!
They don’t go after you and me [except they do sometimes, but this is just laughable, and not the real thing but amateurs like James, Katie and moderator Jon]. But when a public figure of some status venture into these alternative explanations, they are out there in full force,- forcing him to retract his utterings…….on Facebook as it were. Fortunately we have the wikispook-story he was linking to, see link below. I’ve just been reading it this morning, and it is very well written and interesting, and as the vicar says, raises a lot of questions.

Vicar investigated over ‘9/11 Israel did it’ posting

Anglican cleric accused of anti-Semitism after Facebook posting giving credence to conspiracy theory blaming Israel for 9/11

The Church of England is investigating a Surrey vicar accused of actively promoting claims that Israel was behind the September 11 terrorist attacks.
The Rev Stephen Sizer, who has a long history of disputes with Jewish community leaders over blog postings voicing his strident views on Israel and Zionism, posted a link on Facebook to an article entitled “9/11 Israel did it” adding the comment that it “raises so many questions.”

I do remember a discussion about this where it was believed there had been some sort box on the car the reason for it was the dust pattern that had formed around it ,perhaps Max could look closer to see if there is anything to be seen ,I cannot provide a link for it now as I can’t remember where it was I have a feeling it was DI .
I know it was reported that someone had seen them arrive at the campsite with a bike on the roof I never saw any mention of a roof box in the reporting so it may be nothing its just one of those funny details that stuck as a possible explanation.
If anyone has a roof box perhaps they can compare The BMW roof to their own and see how the dust collects.

1 Feb, 2015 – 9:49 am – at least I assume that supportive comment is for me. As usual it’s the same story appearing everywhere with virtually no research or background. In other words it’s one freelance reporter (probably) repeating what he’s told by the official sources, syndicated by all the outlets apart from a personalised tweak or tweak there. This is what investigative journalism has come to these days, perhaps just better than nothing. Then we have the report that he will be out in 4 months and then “deported”. That raises the question to where? Presumably to France or Algeria (if they will have him) If the former presumably as EU citizen he can come straight back? Just asking.

A senior Hezbollah commander, Mughniyeh was suspected of masterminding the abduction of Western hostages in Lebanon in the 1980s and of the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy in Argentina that killed 29 people.
    http://www.france24.com/en/20150201-cia-mossad-planned-2008-attack-hezbollah-mughniyeh/
The CIA and Israel’s spy agency Mossad were behind an elaborate plot to kill Hezbollah commander Imad Mughniyeh in a 2008 car bomb attack in Syria, the Washington Post reported Friday.

The bomb, built by the United States and tested in the state of North Carolina, was triggered remotely by Mossad agents in Tel Aviv who were in communication with Central Intelligence Agency operatives on the ground in Damascus.

For those who pour scorn on the possibility that governments actively aim to manipulate public opinion on critical issues of policy see:

    https://wikileaks.org/wiki/UK_military_targets_domestic_opinion_leaders

As regards the reporting of actual conflict which has gone through various phases from the Crimea onwards (before this reports of battles and military engagements were arguably for the Sovereign and Privy Council eyes only) changes are afoot in the British Army.

In the first Iraq war, as a reaction to the Falklands, journalists were “embedded” meaning they were chaperoned and monitored. Arguably even more so in the second or perhaps we may have got a whisper of mistreatment, torture even unjustified killings of civilians? Now “factual” and “manipulative” in-house reporting is to be merged.

    See: http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jan/31/british-army-facebook-warriors-77th-brigade

It’s a relatively small step from the manipulation of the reporting of violent events, to secure public opinion objectives, to the manipulation of the events themselves. It would appear that we are seeing this latter phenomenon more frequently. That almost identical “scripts” appear to being played out in particularly the “Five Eyes” (plus one or two) indicates this is a trans-national undertaking with common goals.

Is the latest ISIS outrage accidentally or intentionally designed to provoke outrage in Japan in much the same way as Charlie Hebdo with parallel consequences – a more militaristic confrontational approach to projected enemies that just happen to be the current targets of the United States and its “co-conspirators”, if indeed they are?

As you will no doubt be aware Michael Norton
1 Feb, 2015 – 5:44 pm for the unpardonable sin of flagging up Jewish connections and Sarcozy’s son’s part in them, Charlie Hebdo was made not only to recant and apologise, but also the octarian cartoonist was actually PROSECUTED. The contrast between this and the constant diatribe against Muslims and their beliefs, is impossible to ignore. The highly orchestrated “Je suis Charlie” which simply must have been pre-planned and in preparation to have had the thousands of posters in so many guises almost immediately available after the event, is a case in point of predictable human emotion for the best of reasons being hi-jacked and suborned for an ulterior and quite opposite objective: more control of free expression rather than less, so long as it is directed at Muslims not Jews.

As to the Strauss Kahn issue, MN it is hard to decide on who’s side the set up was arranged. Obviously the sting happened in the US which points an obvious finger that side. Were the Americans doing it to ruin the chances of the next socialist President or was it Socialist competitors. The fact that his downfall is being cemented under Hollande rather gives credence to the possibility it was his socialist friends who are making sure he doesn’t make a come-back. There is an obvious parallel with Berlusconi who appears to have had his day.

As to US/Israeli collusion over assassination your reference is spot on Michael Norton 1 Feb, 2015 – 5:48 pm. I don’t know why some in here have such difficulty with the hypothesis that Chevaline COULD have been a joint CIA/Mossad operation, when their collaboration elsewhere to do something identical is proven fact.

  • Tim Veater

Just another banker “suicide” from your ref. MN –
“Since charges of sexual conduct were dropped in 2012, DSK has managed to rebuild a successful career as a business consultant and speaker on the international lecture circuit. But last year, the former IMF boss once again grabbed media headlines in France when a business partner, Thierry Leyne, CEO of Paris-listed company Leyne Strauss-Kahn & Partners (LSK), died in an apparent suicide. According to the Wall Street Journal, LSK had made unauthorised trades, but Strauss-Kahn was unavailable for comment as he had left his role as chairman of the firm.”

  • Geraldine Kaufmann

Your comment yesterday on 5.48 pm — quoting a France24 story which again quotes a Washington Post story, which again relies on unnamed ‘officials — was interesting, Michael – mostly because of what it didn’t say. Many og the details about ‘facial recognition’ used, could just be made up, because the story specifically mentions that agents were on the ground in Damascus, when he was killed,- presumably to identify the target and report back that he now was in the vicinity of the car with the bomb placed in a spare tyre. Such stories in a neocon-publication like the Washington Post are meant to inspire gullible individuals from inside the Washington Beltway and fill them with ave over the combined technical prowess of The Unites States and its satelite state, Israel.

But here is the ever prescient and sharp former CIA analyst –now retired — Paul Pillar [whom I recommend everyone to read on a regular basis], reminding us about what happened to Hitzbollah members before this organisation targetted Israeli interests in Argentina in the early 90’ies.

THE NATIONAL INTEREST – PAUL PILLAR: Are Israel and Hezbollah About to Go to War?

    by Paul R. Pillar – January 30, 2015

An exchange of lethal attacks during the past fortnight between Israel and Hezbollah has raised the risk that escalation of fighting between these old antagonists might be added to the intractable mess that Syria already is. Israel and Hezbollah have a long history of tit-for-tat reprisals, with the most conspicuous examples involving Hezbollah titting in response to Israeli tatting. The two major car bomb attacks by Hezbollah in Buenos Aires in the early 1990s, for example, were each a direct response to deadly actions that Israel had taken back in the Middle East a month or six weeks earlier. The bombing of the Israeli embassy in 1992 followed an Israeli airstrike that killed Hezbollah leader Abbas Moussawi and his five-year-old son. The attack in 1994 on a Jewish community center—recently back in the news as the Argentine government tries to dance around the mysterious death of a prosecutor who had been investigating how the original investigation of the attack had been handled—was a response to two Israeli actions in rapid succession. One was Israel’s kidnapping of Mustafa Ali Dirani, leader of the Hezbollah-associated Amal movement. The other—possibly facilitated by information the Israelis extracted from Dirani—was an aerial attack on a Hezbollah facility that killed dozens of the group’s members.

This is the company that he worked for, a firm handling unaccompanied baggage.
    http://www.excess-baggage.com/
I used them once, a mistake that led me to threaten a business with physical violence for the first time in my life.

Anyway, they offer shipping via airfreight, too. The fact that Outiren was x-raying baggage for that company means that he would have been able to place whatever boxes or suitcases he wanted aboard commercial freight airliners. The thought of a man in such a job taking a lively interest in bomb-making and takfiri zealotry is not a pleasant one 😉

  • Tim Veater

Thanks for that Peter. Interesting. There was also a chap of Bangladeshi / Pakistani origins picked up in Hayle Cornwall November I think (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-England-Cornwall-29892952) in collaboration with the same London force. As usual very difficult to find anything but the standard one size fits all approved report.

Now moving on (or back) JORDI MIR of CH fame. There’s this one on Facebook who appears to be a young Gendarme as it happens. “Gendarme at Mobile Gendarmerie” He has a link to this also. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHjGtBnSv50&feature=youtu.be “Killer Clown Returns Scare Prank!” The “clown” jumps out on unsuspecting walkers appearing to attack them with chainsaw or appears to smash a body’s head on the ground! There are Jewish adverts when you start the video.

Or if you prefer this one “Jordi Mir
    October 29, 2012 ·
Photographier des montres ou objets” but no attached information.

Of course neither of these may be the “engineer” who took that very contentious video of Ahmed Merabet, immediately put the snippet on FB, but incredibly filmed or posted nothing more.

Peter As to Lyes Outiren (strange he has “lies” and “ire” in his name I thought) the Mirror has this intriuging tantalising bit “Outiren was initially arrested as part of a murder investigation but although his laptop was seized he was not charged.” One wonders what murder was that???? Then he is locked up in Broadmoor for which he would have to be diagnosed as “criminally insane” yet surprise surprise he is fit to plead (the Mirror strangely has it as plea – which is right?) on the day with no reference to his mental state other than a psychiatrist had now declared him fit to plead. This in a prospective “terrorist”? The court heard that the offences took place in April and August 2012.
http://www.cornishguardian.co.uk/Newquay-terrorist-jailed-nearly-years/story-25949671-detail/story.html#ixzz3Qc1Jcdgd Perhaps its worth relating this to all the Yemen bomb threat thing here. “The bomb intercepted in Britain on its way to America was designed to explode in mid-air and may have been targeted at the UK.” 2010
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/terrorism-in-the-uk/8099345/Yemen-cargo-bomb-plot-may-have-been-targeted-at-Britain.html

“The court heard Outiren had previously worked in London for a firm called Excess Baggage, where his job included inspecting luggage using x-ray machines.” We don’t know how long he worked for them and when, nor his exact role or location. Now the time line is not clear between this job and moving to Newquay but there could easily be overlap with that phase of aircraft bombing from the Yemen. We have the alleged strong links in the CH case also.

Clearly as you said Peter a “luggage handler” could be crucial in such a situation. Nor can I overlook the similar facial features to “our” Ben Zygier of fond memory arrested and dying in 2010. Compare for yourself here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-31053795 and BZ here: http://www.haaretz.com/polopoly_fs/1.504874.1388662297!/image/4202867515.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_640/4202867515.jpg they are not the same but there is a likeness of expression don’t you think? A sort of resigned insight on the realities of the world and their part in it perhaps?

So now straying a bit into supposition I suggest the murder inquiry flagged him up as possible suspect. Who’s murder we don’t know. That it uncovered an agent trying to access the Yemen end. A cushy incarceration followed by a tap on the wrist and freedom to carry on would be my guess.

What better place for a potential secret service or terrorist operative involved in detecting or placing explosives or other “iffy” cargo?

  • Tim Veater

This one addressed to American Jewish Gays! Three birds with one stone – foiled. Rather smells of FF to me. Why chose an address that would automatically raise suspicioun and be subject to special checks. “Inspire” rather like “vice” reek of western interference/control. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/yemen/8099263/Chicago-Jews-learn-of-bomb-plot-at-their-synagogue.html

Both this and CH have been officially and purposely linked to Anwar al-Awlaki killed 2013 then his son both denied by his father – but an American citizen and probably controlled by CIA. When these alleged terrorists are assassinated its never quite clear whether its done to remove a threat or to “neutralise” an embarrassment?

Rather helpfully “AQAP” has just taken responsibility for the CH attacks, though not organising them. (Work that one out) The difficulty is deciding whether AQAP or its alleged statement have come from Muslim terrorists or agents of the CIA and its agents.

It can’t be long to wait now until the Gypsies who shot and killed Nicole Communal-Tournier,
in the “hot-bed” of Lathuile are brought to court,
    that could be illuminating?

  • michael norton

This is the “latest” newspaper article I can find and that was ten months ago.
    Le Dauphine Libre

    HAUTE-SAVOIE
Murder in Lathuile: the murder weapon found in the river Isère
Around the prosecutor Yann Jomier, gendarmes Savoie and Haute-Savoie were allowed back on the course of the six-month investigation that identified the five suspects.

Yesterday, at the Annecy court prosecutor and investigators returned in detail on the six-month investigation that led to the arrest this week of five individuals suspected of involvement in the murder of Nicole Communal-Tournier on 11 November in Lathuile.

“Frankly, at the time, the survey consisted of a big question mark, summarized Yann Jomier, prosecutor and at the scene that night. There was very little evidence and looking for two men who fled in a poorly described vehicle. »

Yet it is a vehicle that will quickly put investigators on the right track (see elsewhere). Investigators will identify three men, two brothers 20 and 30 years, residing near Albertville Doussard and carpenter, 41 years old, considered the real instigator of the case.
    Equipped to commit a home-jacking

“He knew the family and camping, details the prosecutor. From summer 2013, he imagined that home-jacking, thinking that the family was hiding large sums of cash at the campsite. “Like many people of his generation, John Paul Tournier-Communal prefers tickets to the credit card. The carpenter knows this habit, his jealousy and his imagination did the rest.

Convinced that the Communal-Tournier hide a nest egg, he recruited four accomplices among his acquaintances, the two brothers with whom he committed burglaries and two young inhabitant Ugine. November 10, 2013 at night, five men arrived at the campsite. They wait 1 hour 30 am to invest the home of the Communal-Tournier family. They masked and the two young people from Ugine are armed, one with a Beretta 9 mm pistol and the other with a shotgun 12 mm. The team also wins tape and quick-release clamps. Their intentions are clear: sequester couple and loot the house.

“They knew that the couple was present, ensures the prosecutor. Everything was planned. “Everything except the resistance of John Paul Tournier Communal-awakened by the screams of his wife, surprise while watching TV. Just up and although hit in the temple, the colossus finds the strength to push two assailants. The attackers give up and fled through an internal staircase. The last of the group, aged 23 and armed with the shotgun, panic. He turns into the stairwell and shoots towards the door that is closed. Behind Nicole Communal-Tournier receives lethal shock in the chest.

The five men returning Savoy, burn the car and throw weapons in Isere. Arrested first, in February, the carpenter of Doussard admit that the weapons were thrown into the river (see elsewhere). Divers repêchent the shotgun and pistol, on which DNA is found. The other four suspects were arrested this week in Savoy.

“Beretta 9 mm pistol” Interesting? As we all know a signature weapon.

“Divers repêchent the shotgun and pistol, on which DNA is found.” This is quite amazing given the time and environment (water) they had experienced. Almost unbelievable I would say. Now contrast this with Chevaline where samples were available almost immediately where first there “was no DNA” then “just one sample not attributed”, then explained by policeman “contaminating the sample”.

  • michael norton

Yes Tim, although the Communal-Tournier Family are related to the Mollier Family, as these “Gypsies” have been nominated for this crime, it probably does not connect with The Slaughter of The Horses Incident?

  • michael norton

    Stéphane Bouchet

seems to have an enduring interest in The Slaughter of the Horses Incident.
Perhaps somebody who writes French could gee him up a bit?

  • Tim Veater

This comes from the BBC re the Nice soldier stabbing. So the film man of the Merabet shooting shares his name with a French Gendarme. Now the stabber carries the same name as the shot and killed Kosher store hi jacker! Meanwhile the “hero” of that story (and as I mentioned previously, no terrorist event is complete without the obligatory “hero” including Chevaline) was a Malian apros pos earlier discussion on French activity and nuclear resources there, so a Malian again crops up in this one. Can we believe all these things are purely incidental?

“he attacker had been travelling on the tram without a ticket, but left the tram when ticket collectors approached him and he then targeted the soldiers.

He slashed one soldier in the cheek, injured another in the leg and a third on the chin, reports said.

He tried to escape but was caught by a shop owner, tram workers and police patrolling nearby.

He has been named by the mayor as Moussa Coulibaly, aged 30 and of Malian origin, but there appears to be no link with the Paris gunman Amedy Coulibaly, who killed four people in a Jewish supermarket in January.

The suspect had been expelled from Turkey last week, having flown there from the Corsican city of Ajaccio on 28 January, a security source told AFP news agency.

He had raised suspicions among border officials when he bought a single fare to Turkey, and French intelligence asked the Turkish authorities to send him back, the source said.

Although he had been questioned, no judicial action had yet been taken.”

  • Tim Veater

    From your ref. MN:

“There is a very blurred and small gap between organised crime and terrorism,” said colonel Gael Marchand, head of the Gendarmerie for the Alpes-Maritime region.

“Terrorists need funding and they are often recruited in prisons. If you’re a terrorist and a former criminal you know where and how to get weapons.”

He said guns were easily obtained via smuggling routes through Italy from eastern Europe.”
