Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

So the French investigators now believe Mollier was shot first something most carefull observers would have given the most probability in the first place.
When the initial news reports hit Sylvain Molliers’s wife quoted as saying he had discovered a new route which was somehow translated as “cave”. So what had Mollier actually discovered. Can’t see discovering a cave quite possible when cycling. This report only came out once and I haven’t seen repeated in any subsequent release or blog.

Amazing that now the focus is on the nuclear aspect the French authorities are putting out the “random amateur crazed killer” theory. Seems the professional hit on a nuclear production manager not quite kosher within certain quarters.

    Could someone tell me.

Is it possible that Mollier shot and the killer did not see the parked car or family. Seems a basic question yet with millions of reporters on the scene not one as far as I can read made any observation on this aspect.

“Straw – HAARP is often used in conspiracy for weather and eartquakes. This is conspiracy.
However, HAARP exists and it is part of orbit defense and orbit war. Just imagine you could blow up satellites with a weapon placed on earth?
How would war look like today without gps? How would ships or airforce maneuvre without satellites? How could military communicate without satellites?”

If HAARP is what the HAARP project says it is, it won’t generate eathquakes or weather changes or affect satellites. However, it’s always possible it’s a cover for something else, I’ll admit that.

All major powers are working on methods to disable enemy spy and communications satellites, and countermeasures to protect their own. Ground based lasers don’t need to destroy a satellite, just blind a spy satellite or overheat a communications one to disable it.

Likely everyone already has spare satellites in orbit, disguised as ordinary ones, whose real purpose in a time of crisis is to destroy enemy satellites.

Bluebird I think CC may now live in France near Annecy can you do a little more research and see what comes up ,I don’t want to post stuff about the wrong person .

Three more reports with Saad Al-Hilli’s name, in templates at the start of the document. Isn’t this a list of the Quality Control management process. Similar to the template in title page of No 5: MarNIS Broadband Platform Solutions (2006). So was Saad Al-Hilli, assuming it’s him, working in this field? Ie quality engineering control related to software and satellite communication? But is this him?

I agree Kenneth, I see nothing new in that pronouncement, judging where Mollier is supposed to have fallen I thought it was obvious he was the first. After killing him the car was sprayed catching AH as he got into the car & then the killer moved forward to shoot into the car & did the close body & headshots.

Does anyone think he opened the passenger door or did he dart around to the drivers side ?
If the former there would be DNA on the handle…….if he wasn’t wearing gloves of course.

correction again? as posted, the 2001 INDRIS Inland Navigation: one of the authors was S M A Al-Hilli. Maybe he is a Mr Saad M A Al-Hilli. And this person would maybe work for the MarNIS project on Maritime Navigation? ie different from Saad Al-Hilli or Saad K Al-Hilli of Claygate…. OTOH perhaps the Saad Al-Hilli of Claygate did indeed work on MarNIS reports.

Thanks “Straw44berry 19 Oct, 2012 – 8:46 am” Do you know the actual location of WBM’s holiday pad. I’m assuming that your time calculation is based on knowledge of where it is. This must be one of the most significant findings as WBM is absolutely central to what and when. xx

  • Tim V

At “NR 20 Oct, 2012 – 6:17 am” re aerial shots I have thought the same. There only appears to be a couple of early pictures of the car. Information of who was in the air taking photo’s and for whom could easily be provided by the papers but as always they prefer pap to fact.

Well here we go again, Exxon, the murder, the silence & Iraq !

“An exit from the project would contrast with a deal Exxon signed a year ago to explore in the KRG regions, where incentives are better.
Baghdad deemed the KRG deal illegal and promised to punish Exxon by ripping up its contract for West Qurna-1, which has reserves of 8.7 billion barrels. West Qurna-1 now pumps about 400,000 barrels per day of Iraq’s overall production of just over 3 million bpd.”

    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/exxon-may-exit-from-south-iraq-oil-project.aspx?pageID=238&nID=32836&NewsCatID=348

  • Katie

    From the above link:

“The dispute over oil contracts is part of a broader battle between Baghdad and the KRG over oil rights, territory and regional autonomy that is straining Iraq’s uneasy federal union. Iraq’s Shi’ite Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has asked U.S. President Barack Obama to force Exxon to pull out of West Qurna.”

Well I’d say killing the top executive is a good way to ‘force’ Exxon out… wouldn’t you ?

    O & his gangster friends ?

  • Tim V

Obvious point relating to location of Mollier: it strongly suggests he was talking to SAH doesn’t it. Isn’t that significant. Did they know one another? If not why would they be conversing. Again the leaked “snippet” is hardly revolutionary. And have you noticed how silent the British side has been?

  • Katie

    Tim, it has to be that the meeting was arranged, a meeting for one of three reasons;

    1] Exchange of goods ?
2] Exchange of info…good or bad, what of the possibility that Mollier was an agent within Cezus, for Cezus, tracking smuggling ?
3] Social intro regards their joint interest in cycling.

  • Katie

Number two, there, AH was taking info to the Brits about the smugglers, but it was his people who ‘were’ the smugglers, unbeknown to him & Mollier who knows the French government have been working with the Brits on this.
Now Mollier is exposed as the agent……….. the classic double cross & Cezus now have no agent within.

  • dopey

I can recall early reports saying Millier’s bike had been thrown to one side…not sure if the prosector himself said it, but it was definitely said.

So if true, the bike may have been in front of the car and visible to someone ie BM approaching that carpark, but that wasn’t where the bike originally was. How they would know where the bike originally was and that it had been thrown I’ve no idea though.

If Mollier was moved to the front of the car (and his bike was placed there too but on or near the road itself) the obvious imlication …or for me anyway…is that someone perhaps wanted it to look like Mollier was just passing and got in the way.

For Mollier to have been in three different areas of that carpark after being shot (in front of the car, to the side of the car where BM moved him to, and wherever he was prior to being moved in front of the car) there’s remarkably few blood stains to be seen.

  • nuid

Wow, I popped in to post the “Cyclist ‘first to be shot'” story from Al Jazeera, (quoting Le Parisien). I thought the thread might be dead.

As Anders might have said, Carry on! 🙂

  • Keltrava

With due respect to posters who keep flogging the premise I cannot see when looked at it logically that Saad Al Hilli was in anyway the intended target.

Its weird how the French investigators seem to have this obstinate pig headed attitude throwing up unlikely scenarios.
If footprint evidence is now so vital why was the scene thrown open to public so soon. Their whole methodolgy dosen’t seem credible.
There was great expectation what the 7 year old girl was going to say and indications were that memory had not been impaired.
Then at the precise time the media went totally quiet judging by Google News entries. Its as if authorities and media controllers don’t want her to recount any memories. This wall of silence is just as baffling as the mystery itself.

  • Katie

Keltrava, so why don’t you explain why Saad was not the target ?

You think quite normal for two highly qualified men in the same sensitive work, to be in the same layby the same day at the same time ?

  • Katie

Dopey, if ‘someone wanted it to look as though Mollier were just passing’, that would imply they didn’t want him to look guilty wouldn’t it, so that would point to a French person, non ?

Steyning race 2006 was a good result 40km ave 22mph, with 10km (50m rise) 1 in 70/0.6%. (from google – Beginners:13-15 Decent:15-17 Better:18-19 pretty good:19-20 Racers:20-22 upper cat 1-2 racers:22-25 winners 25+. At 6% incline speed can drop 50%) On that basis the 2.2k Lathuile to Chevaline (0-1% climb) takes 6.5min and the 6% climb (225m rise)takes 12.5min: total 19min. But if the start from home was 2.30pm and the climb took half an hour, then speed would have been half the Sussex speed. Whichever way you look at it arrival at the layby in the Combe d’Ire would have been before 3.15pm – unless/unfathomably route meanders around until the Rue du Moulin at 3.25 then unnoticed he and SM quickly cycle uphill. Simple reading of times – BM was there before car – or was overtaken (unless time of pictures is misleading).
