The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?
Thomas this was listed on linkedin exactly. Since then it was removed from linkedin apparently and only qantas is listed. But i remember that somebody copied the previous original here onto this blog. You might be able to search for iraqi air on this blog.

1 Nov, 2012 – 8:27 am I agree two distinct stains. You could be right it may reflect two bodies but it could also reflect one if the victim managed to crawl to a new position. My interpretation (and I quite accept I could be wrong) is that the RH one is lighter and shows sign of movement. Remember we are told Mollier was in cycling gear (i.e. just one layer probably with little barrier or absorption) so bleeding marking likely to be more immediate. To the left is the main bleed point, again at the end of what appears a drag mark. So I am concluding this was his final resting place hence the darker stain. (Sorry to be so gory but that’s how I read it) We still do not know precisely what Zainab’s injures were. Certainly she was able to “stagger around” before collapsing. The initial reports of cranial and shot injuries might have been over stated. We simply don’t know as subsequent medical details have not been released. However WBM and PD’s accounts are diametrically different as regards blood – the former saying she was cover, the latter that there was none! In any event WBM says she fell in front of the car where there is no staining. It is unlikely that she bled substantially where he moved her. The only other alternative is that she initially fell next to Mollier, bled and then recovered enough to stagger around. However again if you study the right hand stains they appear to me to be too broad for a slight little girl leaving aside the matter of blood loss. Now finally on the TFI aerial shots the road appears to have strange dark markings. Has anyone commented on this before or suggested a cause?
There are so many roads to take. There is for instance the one that ironically corresponds to his name, something with Moulin. But the question remains open about how long it would take on the east road. For me — who hates going travelling the same road twice if a handsome alternative exists, I would of course be doing the round, as I’m sure Brett or any keen sportsman would do.
also Brett as a Briton would favour going the rounds, because Brits and Danes are the same in this regard: It is simply stupid to cycle up a road and then roll back again the same road. Not even in Tour de France do they do such a stupid thing. Part of the reward going up a mountain is going over the poass and roll down an entirely new stretch. It is STUPID to roll down the same stretch as you came up on. No sportsman would do that.

Yes BB, the Swede looks real enough.

Inna Chayka, a key person in our investigation?
We would not know about Inna Chayka when she would not have run that iraqi security and investigation firm in the same house where Saad and his father lived in 1971-1983 in London Putney.
Inna Chayka comes from an important Jewish family in the Ukraine. Chayka means “Life” in Hebrew. Lev Chayka and other relatives live all over tge Usa today, particularly in MN.
Inna Chayka also runs World Voyager Ltd. in London at a noble Kensington house. We dont know what this company is doing. They have no websote.
She runs that renaissance-iraq.com website that was taken offline and was registered in melbourne (ali al hilli?). Could anybody please check the wayback machine for this website?
The most important thing about inna chayka is ghat she seems to be the accountant of nearly all iraqi and Pakistani and saudi “security guys” and perhaps intelligence, too. A jewish Ukrainian-American does that?
Chayka has two companies in the Czech rep. too.
http://rejstrik.penize.cz/inna-chayka
Search google for
Inna Chayka accountant
And check the guys that come up with linkedin links on google when you do submit that search.
Hopefully somebody can track that site on the wayback machine. I cant do that today. No time left.
I hope and i strongly guess that we can link her to the al hillis with that disfunct website.
Re inna chayka.
Jewish/ukrainian/american Inna Chayka became second wife of Noureddine Bouzid in year 2000 in Wandworth.
Bouzid is an Algerian/Tunesian name.
I was unable to find out what he is doing in the UK
This is Inna Chayka’s husband.
Tunesian Spring? Jewish american intelligence wife? Whatelse do we need to know? And then sje is related to iraqi renaissance and ali al hilli’s disfunct website? And has her intelligence office apparently on the same floor where Saad lived in the 1970tees?
This is all coincidence …

M , sorry, no luck with the video.
Katie you misunderstood. You should not search her own linkedin contacts. You shoul search google with that data string that i showed you to use and then check all google responses that come up with linkedin domains. I swear that you will be afraid after the tenth or twentieth google page.

You lost me there BB, but goodness me what a turn up there !
So where are we heading now, this has become global ????
I shall see what I can find .
Sorry invalid link posted regarding the chayka
Here is the correct one.
http://www.centropa.org/module/ebooks/files/UK_Chaika_A4.pdf
Mossad? Iraqi security and investigation? tunesian spring? Accountant of arab security guys? Running a now defunct iraq renaissance website in a house where saad and his father lived, domain registered in melbourne where ali al hilli lives? Inna chayka.
Katie
CIA and Mossad are global. I am just not so surprised to find them so close to iraq, tunesian spring and the al hillis.
Agents need accountants who understand how to hide and launder payments of intelligence services. I did not say that inna chayka is such an accountant. Everybody does make his own decision. Meyer-Lansky was also an excellent accountant.
Bluebird, thanks for that memoir by Basya Chaika. It was very touching and also quite instructive about what it was like to live through those years in Kiev. I think the ending with grand-daughter Katya concluding the free choice is the most important thing in the world – and that somehow that’s what all the strife of previous generations has been about – is especially poignant, given that it is free choice that is under threat again; something that’s not obvious to everyone just yet;
Hashim Al Hilli !
Now there’s a thought.

SOMETHING STRANGE ABOUT DENIS O’BRIEN’S “LOGO PHERE” WEB SITE.
http://something-stinks.com/Chevaline%20Murders/MartinTheory.pdf comes up but all other usual Googles for

brings up “Not Found
The requested URL /WordPress/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.” None of the stuff on the site, including the Chevaline material, is accessible. This is very strang. Has it been pulled?
Could you all try the site and see if it’s just my paranoia!
No Problem Tim, I can get both of your links up.
Hi Tim
I’ve just tried it (2nd link) and it works fine for me. The Chevaline stuff is still there too.

thanks people. can you get all of the site though. i can get the contents page with the maps but then when i try the links i get the “unobtainable” message. never been a problem b4
For those of you who want to understand the history of iraq. This is the greatest thing on the internet i have read ever regarding iraq. I understand so many things much better now. It is a lot to read because there are ten parts to read, however it is exciting. And it confirms by CIA statements that Saddam was a paid CIA agent. We know that his stepfather Hasan Ibrahim was trained by OSS (before CIA there were OSS and navy doing intelligence for USA) frim 1938-1941. We know that his friend Hashim al Hilli was trained by OSS from 1938-1941 in the USA. Saddam grew up with a stepfather who was CIA asset. And he became a CIA asset himself. Ibrahim was the father of 3 more sons in the late Iraqi Baath government.
Read that link and all 10 pages and you will be excited, more educated and you will understand much more about al hilli and even about al askari.
