The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?
The point is BB/Kathy/NR, AH didn’t have to tell anyone what he knew, all he’d have to do is hint that he ‘knew’ of something big & he could prove it…. OR the person using him decided he was a loose cannon.
Personally I think it’s something more current than 9/11 et al. O was not in power then so he couldn’t be blamed,in fact he wasn’t even a dot on the horizon then.
At that time the Chicago mob, including Jarret, were all busy lining him up as their stooge.
Something big such as Obama taking 10 million dollars from Mr X via AH courier somehow, to Rezco. …. Petraeus being CIA found this out.
Why did one of Obama’s security men ‘commit suicide’ ? Another one accused of an affair.
@Kathy
Great find!
Here’s that quote in full, for anyone who can’t be bothered to go and look it up themselves…
Strangely remeniscent of:
“In 100 years the world will see… ” – Saddam Hussain
“The world will never know… ” – Jack Ruby
@Bluebird @Katie @NR
Great work re the Khawam’s and their links! And thanks, NR, for the US perspective. Sorry if I’ve left anyone out here. Rushing!
@James
Exactly!!!
🙂
Katie
You could be right. But i guess that he leaked more than that from his fathers inheritance.
You know, i once posted a link that the americans did not find any iraqi documents they were searching for in baghdad after the end of saddam.
Experts said that the iraqis did not trust each other during saddams government and that the top spies and diplomats secretely kept those documents at home or in secret places. Inheritance dispute?
There are too many top iraqis involved in the recent events. That has todo with middle east and with patraeus being there in iraq. That is about saddam, smuggling, money laundering and false flag actions. Leaking 9/11 would endanger stability and peace inside the usa. You might face a sort of civil war then. Zhat is about
re: extraction theory.
To those of you who say extraction is not possible because of the number of people required to be involved, see this from the Guardian
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/nov/13/hillsborough-investigation-question-police-officer?INTCMP=SRCH
2,444 police officers allegedly involved in the Hillsborough coverup!
Hi @ all
See you’re still quite busy here. Respect!!
I was off for 2 days and feel almost lost in the facts and posts given since.
Don’t know if I can make it “a jour” anytime..
With the political/arabic side of the story I have to admit I don’t have that knowledge as BB or NR or … are have
Mind me a question re that matter:
I just googled pics for “Iqbal”… all I got were men-pics… The (very)few women shown have Iqbal as her family(2nd)name. Had Iqbal another first name before the “Iqbal” or what is that? Is this a fake name? Strange or not?
Still makes no sence to me that they never ever published the women involved. Neither French police did when they made their public inquiery re witnesses.
2nd question: In the beginning there had been “rumors” here – don’t know who posted it but I’ve made a copy:
…. “”General Yossi Ben Hanan (chief of defence at Paris Israeli embassy) has been flown from Paris to Chambery Airport according to Press TV. Chambrey is only a short drive from the site of the killing. He was 20 minutes on the tarmac before he left with three extra passengers. The helicopter flew on to Geneva
(.. Head of SIBAT, the Israeli Defense Ministry’s developing countries defense assistance division. Is France a developing country? Not.)
May be he’s been on his way to a Geneva conferernce?
Anyways, Geneva is a busy place for conferences. Some of the August and September, 2012 conferences are listed here….””
Any proof so far for that?
Good luck with your digging, I’ll be watching you here as much as I can…
@ Ferret/Bluebird
Thanks for cutting and pasting the comment. I was too lazy/busy to do that!
Thanks M69, it’s a very sobering thought.
Over 1,000 officers names handed over to the IPCC.
Over 100 police statements altered.
Absolutely shocking.
A large-scale cover-up in the UK, remaining hidden for over over 20 years.
Shelock
Iqbal is both a girl name and a boy name. Its also used for dogs names. In america you would probably call a child “Lucky” Smith. Could be a girl or a boy or even a dog. IQBAL means “Prosperous”.
Here are some quotes:
Iqbal. When naming your baby Iqbal, it’s important to consider the gender of the name itself. When people look at the name Iqbal, they might ask the question, “is Iqbal a man or a woman?”, or “what is the gender of the name Iqbal?” Some names are more gender neutral than others, and some names are more strongly associated with either males or females. Some spelling variations of the name Iqbal might be more popular.
Based on popular usage, it is 10.491 times more commonfor Iqbal to be a boy’s name. The popularity of Iqbal is: 5.198 (where 0 = extremely rare, 6 = super popular)
[ 2 syll. iq-bal, iqb-al ] The baby boy name Iqbal is also used as a girl name. Its pronunciation is as IY-KBaa-L †. Iqbal is derived from Sanskrit origins. The name’s meaning is desire.Iqbal is not regularly used as a baby name for boys. It is not listed in the top 1000 names.Baby names that sound like Iqbal include the name Isfoel (Welsh) and the name Iseabail.† English pronunciation for Iqbal: IY as in “eat (IY.T)” ; K as in “key (K.IY)” ; B as in “be (B.IY)” ; AA as in “odd (AA.D)” ; L as in “lay (L.EY)”
Mochyn.
Those police were saving their own backsides for a bad job on the night, those involved in the AH murders are just doing what they are told…… big difference.
@Katie
So you are saying that policemen covering their own backsides would willingly participate in a cover-up, while policemen told to participate in cover-up for the sake of the security of their own nation and its citizens would not?
Ferret.
I am saying this was far more complex & it wasn’t only police involved, it was many from different walks of life, nor do I believe it had anything to do with the security of the country……France or the UK.
CIA Rafael Prieto was “suicided” because he was about to leak serious information regarding the white house, say the Russians.
http://www.eutimes.net/tag/ruth-pomerance/
He was married to Ruth Pomerance
http://www.nytimes.com/1993/10/04/style/weddings-ruth-pomerance-rafael-prieto.html
This guy knew everything about the white house inside and outside.
This is the full story. Note the last sentence on page 6. Ofcourse we do believe that.

@Katie
It’s irrelevant whether or not you believe this case had anything to do with national security.
The point is, what do people do when asked by officials of their own state to keep something secret for the sake of the safety of their nation, and the safetey of their fellow citizens?
Particularly people like policemen, as there would have been little or no need for any non-government participation, as previously discussed.
M69’s point is good: the fact that large-scale cover-ups can and do exist is well demonstrated by the police cover-up of the Hillsborough disaster.
I certainly hope that this rambling rubbish is finally put down on the 49th anniversary of the JFK assassination, as it has cooked up more crap in less than three months than the Warren Commission could generate in about a year.
Thanks BB, this confirms it’s better to hear nowt, see nowt & speak nowt !!!
Knowledge has become a liability.
@Ferret
I think your last comment is a fitting epitaph on the vanishing inquiry into whatever happened at Chevaline.
http://prorev.com/2009/04/new-book-on-dc-madam-case.html
Montgomery Blair Sibley, the lawyer for DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who committed suicide a year ago, has written a book on the story, a classic tale of the injustice of criminalizing prostitution: the woman ends up dead while hundreds of high public male figures who used her services have their names protected by court order and not even the women’s movement raises a peep.:
In an interview, Sibley says where some of Palfrey’s clients allegedly worked without reveaing their names:
“The Archdiocese of Washington, the Army Capabilities Integration Center, the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the US Army Information Systems Command, the National Drug Intelligence Center and the law firms of Jones Day Reavis and Pogue, Akin Gump Strauss, The Durst Law Firm, Patterson Belknap Webb, and Reed Smith among many others. . .
“Clients included: a Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency; a Commander of the 332rd Expeditionary Maintenance Group, Balad Air Base,. Iraq; a high ranking officer of Colonel Pipeline Company which had reached a settlement for oil spills in five states; an Environmental Protection Agency employee; a former President of National District Attorney Association; a Hewlett Packard director who made substantial contributions to U.S. Senate races; a director of the Association of Foreign Intelligence Officers; a state representative from Louisiana; a member of the Maryland Public Service Commission; a NASA astronaut; and a Special Envoy for Middle East Security appointed by Condoleezza Rice.
“Why was I silenced? Why did the government want so badly to keep these – and other clients of Jeans’s escort service – from being publicly identified by me?
Anonymous said… “Suicides”, convenient “accidents” and “lone nut” killers have become a cornerstone of our political system since JFK was ambushed in 1963. Let us recognize that that system has become a super-mafia, cut loose from all public accountability, and the necessity to organize to oppose it.
[I believe the Madam’s administrative assistant also suicided. The last I heard, the book with client’s names is in the lawyer’s safe, under orders of the judge never to release it.]
One story circulating says the harassing or threatening emails to Jill Kelley were sent from Gen. P’s account – which was why the FBI was concerned. Paula Broadwell has access to that account ’cause it was how she and Gen. P. communicated through the draft folder. The FBI also thought somebody else might have used or hacked the account – or even that it was the general’s wife sending.
NR.
It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Paula herself wanted the affair publicised, afterall she is telling everyone she knew about the Benghazi affair & telling of things which no one else knew, such as, two militants had been taken prisoner & that’s why the mission was attacked.
The Obama administration is mired in scandal right now it would seem.
As for your story of the prostitute, what an injustice that is.
WTF is that?
When watching that picture again, WTF is hanging around all their necks? They are all simply looking like they were Christmas trees. Did the Patraeus family even celebrate Christmas together with the al Khawam family? Could there be any closer relationship than that?
http://bilder.bild.de/fotos-skaliert/jill-kelley-29494216-mfbq-27153998/2,h=343.bild.jpeg
Lol……They are trying to look like Christmas trees BB.
In truth it was some festival I believe, but Petraeus did have a Christmas meal with them one year…….so I read somewhere.
Funny. Events that is.
When the “po ‘leece” get to look through someones “email traffic” (for whatever the reason that is claimed) they get to see some funny things…. I guess !!!
A “he said, she said” turns out to have a couple of BIG “brass hats” involved (…and email content).
Wonder when this was all found ?
Wonder if other names were found ?
Wonder if a few “plans” were discovered ??
Oil plans ? Iran plans ? Funny palns ? Plans that needed to be closed ?
James one thing’s for sure, she will certainly sell a lot of books. I gather the titles was a private joke too…………..All In !!
Cough splutter. 😉
Or a “tragic yachting accident” whilst on vacation in Montana !
…or they’ll get the French to look at the case !
“There was one bad man”.
What does that mean ? There was “a” bad man ?
Or “everyone else wasn’t bad, just one” ?
Still got Ferret’s idea rolling around my mind.
A car crash (where do you find the bodies) or a massacre (better selection of bodies available !).
The location. Some good airports around that area. All can take a a medium/large cabin biz jet without any issues.
It’s quiet..infact “isolated” some would say. Not busy with summer traffic. Not busy with winter traffic.
Infact…not too hot and not too cold. Just right, as Goldilocks would say !
Breaking news.
Israel kills Hamas leader Ahmed al Jabari and a 7 year old niece of Yasser Arafat in a terror attack. They better should not have tried the corps of Arafat to be exhumed.
http://rt.com/news/gaza-israel-hamas-attack-687/
The war begins.
I was just about to post this:
What do you predict the Evil empire USA/UK/Israel is going to do next?
Then I got the answer from the guardian, just as BB has just said.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/nov/14/hamas-military-chief-killed-gaza-jaabairi
Along with all this:
Ahmed al-Jaabari is the most senior member of Palestinian militant group killed since Israeli invasion of Gaza Strip four years ago

Guess they got p*ssed off they couldn’t go for Iran directly.
Heads down.

We don’t know what the kid was saying. We only know what Maillaud said what she was saying. That are two different things. I don’t trust them only a single word after all that confirmed BS that they had already told about the scene and the event.
I don’t believe them either the “we didn’t see that kid for 8 hours”. Of course they knew how many kids there were since the al Hillis were covered up by more than only one intelligence unit. They likely even knew the names of the kids’ dolls and plush toys.
I accept that Maillaud didn’t know about those kids and I believe them that HE and his STAFF didn’t know about the other kid. However, they weren’t the first ones on that scene. There was the professional Clean team first, and then there were the British Clean Teams. And only then it was Maillaud who went into the scene when everything was well prepared. Of course that took 8 hours and during those 8 hours Maillaud and his police team would not be able to know about that kid, simply because they weren’t allowed to touch anything before the clean teams had finished their work.
What Maillaud says is simply what he knows and what he is allowed and/or told to say. However, what he says is far from truth and reality. Therefore: Disbelieve!
