Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

I wonder about why they do not tell us the name of the arrested airforce soldier.
Do they have to clean the internet first? I bet they do.

  • bleb

@Intp1 – Indeed, I think your theory provides the best explanation I’ve seen so far.

Can you check if James Mathews is/was married.
I guess he is/was. And does he have children ?

He settled in Claygate, Surrey so his wife was from around there I guess as he is from the north.

I shall look. Due to his facebook page there is a little girl whom he adores as his “angel”. She looks like his grand child. Perhaps 5 years old. It looks as if she lives in middle east or in north africa. Her name is Zohra or Zohira as far as i remember. No mentioning of a wife or children.

  • James

    Blue…

He met Saad at the Claygate play group. He must have children then.

He was a contractor…and he knows Dubai (asked me about H3 in Dubai…it was rather coded, but it’s there).

But Al Hilli lived in Claygate for “all his life”.
Yet he has no other friends ?

    Ah ! Gary Aked.
He worked with him…and became friends. But Gary said he was a hard person to “become friends” with. He said another couple of things…and that’s all he said.

But not for James ? Why ? Because there children were in the claygate play group ?

  • James

    So children/child born “ish” then.

Puts him at the play group at the same time then ?
    A child of 7 or 8 ?

    That adds up.

Did Saad “mellow” with children ? Aked said he was “difficult”.

He married Gabriella (Gaby) Mula in 2004 in Surrey.
Daughter Zorah (blonde nice kid) must be approx. 7/8 years old. No data of Zorah in the UK. It doesnt seem that she is a UK citizen.

He seemed to have had a divorce with Gaby in 2011/2012. She left him in 2012.

Gaby Mula and daughter Zorah are living in Hamburg (Germany) today.

The Mula family comes from Sicily (Catania) Italy. Gaby (Gabriella) was born there, too. She is a keen Hash House Harrier in Hamburg.

James, I hope that you are satisfied with my family investigation. Tell me if you need more details regarding the Mula family. Was that good enough? Don’t ask me about how i obtain that information …

I believe that there are some interesting questions pending for fat bastard now …. if he ever dares to appear again after we had learnt about that matter of fact (see above) …

I realise I’m a lone voice here with my theories on Obama, but I’m posting this here anyway.

Gossip about Obama has been swilling around since he came to prominence, but this is the latest to come to light…from British Archives.
I suggest this is yet another reason O would want to keep a lid on all that is being stifled about his past , activities & those around him .

Editors note: The records alluded to in this story were discovered through a May, 2012 search.

‘Several sources show that Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton made a sudden visit to the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the British agency which oversees Public Records Archives from colonial protectorates, to speak with the Chief Executive of the Archives in early August of 2009. African news agency expressed surprise at Clinton’s arrival since she did not announce her intentions of stopping in Great Britain before embarking on her two week trip to Africa.”

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> For this article:

“Not surprisingly, when researchers specifically requested access to the relevant microfilm for the Obama [Sr.] birth registrations, they were told that the records were currently held under an outdated “privileged access” status, meaning researchers were denied access under Chapter 52, Sections 3 and 5 of the British Public Records Act of 1958.

However, evidence shows these records were available for public access before August of 2009, the approximate date of arrival of Hillary Clinton in Great Britain during her trip to Africa that year.<strong

Feel free to add your theory to our list.

    Et al

Fat bastard uses at least 4 different facebook accounts:

    /fat.bustard

    /JamesWMathews

    /jamse

and a 4th one with hardly any content as another fatbastard.

In one of his many fb accounts he is friend with Marilyn Z. Tomlins.

The Vauxhall telephone number on his fb site leads to a London Vauxhall shop:

    http://www.nowvauxhall.co.uk/about-us.aspx
This phone number has nothing to do with SIS as some of you had thought.

Still there is no clue about what he does for his living other than organising hash house harrier runs all over the world. He is an university graduate.
Having 4+ different accounts on fb just shows that he loves to be online, nothing else.

Somehow i have the suspicion that he is from the Order of St.John, Knights of Malta (as well as it is the Mula family of his wife – more evidence for that) due to some of his fb comments regarding his ancestors, particularly regarding the Cathedral of Llandaff (Wales) and his so called “ancestors from the Middle East” (knights?). However, some more evidence would be necessary to submit that theory. So far this is just a strong guess without any evidence bit a few puzzle stones he had left.

He likes to play the online game “Mafia Wars”.

One significance regarding the knights of malta, but most likely unrelated though interesting enough, is that quote:

    Quote
“Knights of Malta: Military order of Knights who, by tradition, have been allowed to assassinate anyone with impunity guaranteed by all the royal families in Europe.”

    Hmmmm ….

  • James

    BlueBird.

    Very satisfied.
I know lots of contactors (and pilots) that get married late…and then get divorced.

Sometimes they marry late to women who already have a child/children.

James met Saad at the Play Group.
Saad must have been keen to get his children into that school.
I guess a lot of parents would be.

What age do children go to Play Group ? It’s pre school so I guess three ? Two seems too young ? Too much responsibility for the Pre School I would think.

  • bluebird

    James
They cater for children 3-5 years old according to their website

I think that it is interesting enough that Saad put his children into a playgroup that is run by a christian church (Holy Trinity of Claygate)

  • James

    Blue…

So 4 years max. That’s from “meeting” not “friends”.
What’s the chances he mentioned the 800K ?

  • bluebird

I am still surprised that fb’s wife works for XFEL management. XFEL is like CERN, just for XRAY flashes.

Perhaps the communication between the two families was much closer than just a simple kindergarten chat.

Weren’t the implications and applications of lasers big on this blog back-along? Swindon? University College, London? European collaboration under Swedish leadership? Wife of a “close” friend who poured scorn on SAH (or himself) being spies?

How many more co-incidences can this case throw up?

  • Ferret

What a wonderfully timeous juncture for me to have dipped back into the conversation 🙂

Tim, congratulations on the 17,000th post, and yes, lasers were all the rage, way back when.

My memory is a little hazy but I think the link was something along the lines of: Al-Hilli / RAL / Dentistry (X-Rays) / Garden Lab / Iranian Enrichment Programme.

There might also have been some connection via his friend Gary Aked who worked at ATK which led to weapons systems.

And oh yes! The place where he (Sa’ad) worked (not SSTL) made medical lasers, didn’t it?

At the time, I think it was pure conjecture that Iran might be using laser enrichment but coincidentally it surfaced recently in the media, thanks to this report:

“Lashkar Ab’ad: Iran’s Unexplained Laser Enrichment Capabilities” by the Institute for Science and International Security. http://isis-online.org/uploads/isis-reports/documents/Lashkar_Abad_29July2013.pdf

  • Ferret

Oh, and I just loved this comment by Sa’ad’s cousin Hussain in Iraq… it’s six months old but I just found it, and too good not to pass on. 🙂

“It’s seems like a very complex crime, that will be hard to get to the bottom of,” he said, shaking his head. “But if the truth points in a way that is politically uncomfortable for someone, then we will not find out.

“That is why they will say it is a family dispute, or that it was to do with Saddam’s money. It will remain a mystery – just like the murder of JFK.”

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iraq/9762604/Alps-murder-Truth-about-Saad-al-Hillisfamily-feud.html (Dec 23, 2012)

  • bluebird

    Welcome back, ferret.

I also have two quotes in mind (who said that?)
“If you know what Saad had worked, then you’ll know why he was killed”

    And a second quote:

“Saad worked on a huge accelerator”
    (Who said that? )

    There are two huge accelerators.
One is CERN, but that’s done.

    The other one is XFEL.

And now we learnt that FB’s (ex?) Wife works in the management of XFEL in Hamburg.

Well, wouldnt there be some specific questions pending for FB now?
Did they really have kindergarten chit-chat only?

I mean, when each of the families have one member working for a “huge accelerator” project?
There aren’t that many in this world.
    I love coincidences!

I mean, wouldnt there some more than chit chat if (if there WAS) a coincidence, they suddenly find out that father of family one and mother of family 2, each of them are working (or employed by a company working on) e.g. on a huge accelerator like CERN?

Who did open the doors for whom to get this job?
    Is it really coincidence?

How many spies from different intelligence are “working” on such a project?

    Just coincidence …….

We even had that ….. on this blog. I believe that except for aliens and reptiles we had discussed all random and weird possibilities here as per yet 🙂

XFEL accelerator research device is designed for military use, too.

FEL technology is being evaluated by the US Navy as a good candidate for an anti aircraft and missile directed-energy weapon. Significant progress is being made in raising FEL power levels (the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility’s FEL has demonstrated over 14 kW)[17] and it should be possible to build compact multi-megawatt class FEL weapons.[18] On June 9, 2009 theOffice of Naval Research announced it had awarded Raytheon a contract to develop a 100 kW experimental FEL.[19] On March 18, 2010 Boeing Directed Energy Systems announced the completion of an initial design for U.S. Naval use.[20] A prototype FEL system has since been demonstrated with a full-power prototype scheduled by 2018.[21]

  • Tim V

It is a statement of the obvious that we the general public, take for granted technology that we hardly understand. Even things discovered and exploited decades even centuries ago. How many could describe in practice how to make bronze or even make a wheel, let alone make an atom bomb or write a computer programme? We still don’t know about secret programmes of the ‘sixties let alone current cutting edge ones. Snowden shone just a little light on one aspect in relation to surveillance, that has sent the US into paroxysms. That’s why things that today seem fantastical science fiction, may indeed be being worked on, somewhere, enveloped in all the trappings of secrecy, to which both legal and illicit state powers will be applied to maintain.

  • James

    Blue…

    But she is a “secretary”.
Previously (1999/2000) she was the “sec” at Hamburg University.
Found her on a clinical paper/project.

Lots of senior guys. Other guys. Several “under grads”…then her as the Secretary.

I am guessing that between then and 2004 James met her and married her. The children (hers or theirs) then were at the play group. There he meets Saad.

James would only have known Saad for a max of 4/5 years.
Aked said that Saad was “hard to get to know”.

So whilst James is concerned about the murder of his friend…did he know him “that well”.

  • bluebird

    James
She might be an assistant but she is listed to work in the management board.
If i would write s script for an agent thriller, then that kind of job would be ideal for a spy in my thriller.

    Gabriella Mulá Mathews
Management Board Foreign Language Assistant / Reception

However, whatever she does. If you meet somebody and you realize that his wife is working in a company that is similar like your own previous job, then you would not stick to playground chit chat, would you?
