The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

James,
Is that one of the Tourniers belonging to the haute savoie group?
That is the other one
http://www.memoire-deportation-ain.fr/KSearchEngine/FicheDeporte.aspx?pageid=-1&mid=-1&id_entree=1317
Blue…
I can bet it was a dark period.
Both WWI when they died in the trenches …and then WWII when they fought from the hills.
It is something that the wife of a child born to a man that died in those trenches…only died in 2012. The hand doesn’t need to stretch far to touch those horrific times.
What happened to Marie Suzanne Communal (nee Ducret) after the death of George François Communal ? If she remarried a Tournier (which I think is likely) who was he ?
Blue…
I am guessing those would be “related” in someway.
Or at least “known”.
Marie Suzanne Communal was born in 1874. She died in 1944.
She would have been 70 in 1944 (I assume by “natural causes”, but I don’t know)
Maurice would have been “29 or older”.
Did they get shipped out ?
Blue…
Eric said “a blood feud” didn’t he ? What did he mean ?
Has the luger now got any more significance in the Mollier(Al Hilli) murders ?
Is this a feud ????
“Maurice would have been “29 or older”
I mean 29 (if a Communal) or younger (if a Tournier).
Is it already known about what kind of weapon had been used in the tournier killing?
It should be easy to find out for eric. Another secret investigation by eric?
James
If there werent a possible connection to the al hilli killings then eric would not even think about a connection. I am sure that they know pretty well the kind of connection (family, forestry, french intelligence, algeria, whatever …)
There must be something they were aware of already in the very first minute after they had heard of the tournier killing.
1) Vendetta in Haute Savoie:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1535868/Poisoned-spy-death-squads-and-one-mans-vendetta-against-Putin.html
Last night Mr Limanov, who is based in the small Alps village of Cluses in the Haute Savoie region of France, declined to comment about either the contents of the alleged dossier or his links to Mr Berezovsky.
It gave an account by a journalist, Oleg Sultanov, who claimed to have worked there “undercover” as part of an exposé on Mr Berezovsky. Although the tone of the piece suggested that the author was no friend of Mr Berezovsky, it gave accurate details as to the precise location of Mr Limanov’s office in the Alps. Mr Sultanov claimed that he was paid a total of $35,000 to help write material that would bring the Kremlin into disrepute.
2) Vendetta in Doussard, August 15 2012

We must put a stop to this situation. We can not accept the “vendetta” in the streets of Doussard. It is not in “Scarface”, “notes Mr. Trabbia. “The consequences are tragic for the victim, suffering from head trauma and ophthalmic problems, it is still off work. “” Do not be naïve optimism on this issue. This is clan against clan. Today, it was him, tomorrow it may be another. It has not the right to do justice. ” And history to bring to a halt, it requires a year in prison. “The victim is the origin of the brawl” says M eGairaud for the defense. “If violence is not unfounded, they are disproportionate,” she admits. Before pleading for simple suspension or probation. Havutcu Steven was sentenced to 12 months in prison with four months suspended probation and ban contact with the couple.
Havutcu is a a romanian name. Romania ….. whoooahhh ..
It might be a Turkish name, too.
“Steven” does not sound romanian nor turkish. So what is it?
My guess is that this is a Romanian family (roma or sinti) living in france since a long time and that Steven was born in france and therefore he got a french first name.
Who were the vendetta victims? There must be locals who know this. French victims? A french couple? Who?

Some more research:
Havutcu is a turkish mafia clan. I havent found out yet whether or not they are working for PKK or for the grey wolves. PKK is more likely.
They might have a vendetta with a local family.
Steve Havutcu was sentenced to jail in august 2012 after having severely beaten up a couple from a local family from Lathuile (a man and a woman) with a metal bar in a pizzeria in Doussard in a kind of blood feud. The judge said in august 2012 that “we dont want to have any blood feud in Doussard”.
Whether or not Havutcu works for grey wolves or for PKK, both organisations finance themselves with drug smuggling and weapons smuggling. PKK is supported by the left and by Russia while the grey wolves are a CIA stay behind organisation, strongly connected to the far right in france.
Havutcu have a vendetta with a local family.
Here we might come closer:
Cavit Havutcu living in the same Faverges address as Steve Havutcu.
Cavit is a persian boy name usually used by Turkish and Iraqi Kurds.
So then we can write a summary:
Havutcu most likely is a turkish PKK mafia clan living in the Doussard municipality (Faverges) and they have iranian or iraqi kurdish roots. Havutcu are in a blood feud (vendetta) with a local Doussard/Lathuile family that already did result in severe injuries and arrests in 2012 and a court order in august 2012. The local judge talked about a vendetta.

Why did Eric never mention the Havutcus and that known vendetta?
Are Molliers and locals quiet because of being afraid of the PKK vendetta?
Who is the local family who has a vendetta with the likely local PKK members?
Werent 3 female PKK members killed in Paris shortly after chevaline? Vendetta?
Who exactly is that local family living in a vendetta with PKK? And why is there a vendetta?
A quiet place to settle ! Not !
It could very well be that they are connected in such a way indeed.
How often does the head of one investigation comment on another…especially when comments are few and far between.
The link to Mollier may well be via this way.
People say in relation to Chevaline “why this many bullets used”.
The simple answer…because they have them to hand.
Inhabitants of Faverges:
Mollier (3)
Havutcu (3)
Felixfelix once posted on icke that a pharmacy in faverges is owned by the schutz family. However, i did not find any confirmation for that saying.

If we would know about the names and about who the two injured locals (the guy and his wife) in early 2012 had been, then we would know whether or not we are on the right track.
It’s a pity that only Eric and the judge and the locals do know. But they dont tell us anything at all about that vendetta.
Why a vendetta in faverges/doussard.
Why Kurdish family Havutcu versus the ???? local family?
Havutcu family is 100% Kurdish.
Lots of confirmation found in different countries, Turkey included.

PJAK makes sense in regards to Kurds and al Hilli, too.

The website of the Kurdish Institute of Paris says the French police has arrested five PJAK and PKK members yesterday. According the website quoting the police sources, the terrorists have been arrested for being involved in drug transit and distribution in France.France `s being located near Mediterranean Sea has some how paved the way for mafia groups to transit drug through the sea for Europe. The police say the terrorists have opened some so-called cultural centers for hiding their real activities : drug distribution. This is not the first time France arrests the terrorist members of PJAK and PKK . These Sects pretend to fight for the Kurds but most of their victims are Kurds.

Just a weird idea before i finish for today (sorry for that lot but the vendetta confirmation between a kurdish family and a local family in doussard created a brand new investigation).
I had always wondered about saad’s terribly old ruin in southern france. What for? There is no way to live there without huge investments. This is a ruin. No way to live there convenient with children. And then he was a camping fan. And then he planned to go to iraq. Why that ruin in southern france?
Weird idea: drug trade and a drug shelter for further distribution?
Then we would have a totally new track. Wouldnt we?

On Jan. 9, 2013, Kurdish activists Sakine Cansız, Leyla Söylemez and Fidan Doğan were all shot in the head execution-style inside the Kurdistan Information Center, Paris office. Cansiz (code name “Sara”) was a founding member, along with Abdullah Ocalan, of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Turkey. They were assassinated on the same day that the Turkish government announced a preliminary ceasefire plan with the PKK. PKK leadership denies there have been any talks outside of a few meetings with Ocalan. The expressions used in the news; “the PKK, will withdraw its forces on such a date”, “there are negotiations at such a place,” or even, “some number of groups to lay down arms” are surely false news and have nothing to do with reality, says the PKK.On Jan 21, 2013, French police charged a Turkish man named Ömer Güney with the triple murder. The Turkish government has suggested two possible motives, either an internal PKK feud, which the PKK leadership has denied, or an external country with a vested interest in continuing the armed conflict. This story examines the second motive within a geopolitical, historical, and cultural context to help the reader understand how governments and media produce disinformation to manufacture consensus.
As of Feb 1, 2013, the day this story was first posted, my Twitter account has come under attack. The hashtag #twitterkurds, which has been reporting news since the Kurdish prisoner hunger strike began in September 2012, is under heavy automated cyberattack by hundreds of “Personas” as written about in Part 2. Yesterday the twitter account of a Swedish parliamentarian came under this attack.
On Feb. 6, 2013, EU parliamentarians met to discuss the Kurdish issue and a path toward a ceasefire. The troll is posting photos of dead bodies of PKK in an effort to stop the news and terrorize Kurds. Supporters should add #twitterkurds to their tweets, block the troll, and demand Twitter remove the photos from pic.twitter.
This is ridiculous! This is exactly Saad al Hilli’s media story! It’s lunatic! Exciting!

Ömer seemed quite nervous as he told us that he was going to France with his family and leaving his household goods to us in return for the rent of that month”.
The landlord added that; “He told us those people were his parents and sisters. We suggested to go and see Schliersee,www.ekurd.net but they said they were in a hurry and left together with two cars, one of which had a French numberplate and the other a German one. The cars were large and full with people. He introduced the two women there to us as his sisters. Asked about Güney’s relations with Kurdish circles in France, Y.A. notes that; “He told me that he had grown up in France before he moved to Germany for some time, married there and then divorced after some time”.

Quote:
PARIS (Reuters) – French investigators trying to solve the murder of three Kurdish activists in Paris have collected evidence about the chief suspect’s connections to Turkey, four sources with knowledge of the investigation told Reuters.Police sources told Reuters the magistrate in charge of the case was about to lodge a formal appeal for information to Turkey about Omer Guney, a Turkish immigrant placed under formal investigation for the triple murder eight months ago.The move could mark a turning point in the case, which has become a rallying cry for Europe’s large population of ethnic Kurds. It comes after disclosures that Guney took at least three trips to Turkey and made dozens of phone calls to contacts there in the months before the killings, lawyers with access to investigation files told Reuters.
Turkey’s justice ministry said it had so far received no request from France for judicial cooperation in the case.”As of October 23 no request for legal assistance from French judicial authorities has been submitted to either the Turkish Justice Ministry or any other Turkish judicial institution,” it said in a statement on its web site.
The murders of Sakine Cansiz, 55, a founding member of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK); Fidan Dogan, 32, a spokeswoman for the cause in France and Europe; and a trainee named Leyla Saylemez, 25, sent a shockwave through Europe’s large Kurdish community. The women were shot as ceasefire talks to end 29 years of war between the PKK and Turkey were starting. The key question asked by lawyers and victims’ family members is who ordered the killing. Kurds who gather each week by the crime scene say it was a political assassination.
French police quickly arrested Guney, 30. Surveillance footage placed him at the scene, and partial DNA from one of the victims was found on a parka belonging to him, lawyers said.Guney, who says he is innocent, has been awaiting trial for eight months in solitary confinement near Paris. His lawyer, Anne-Sophie Laguens, said she planned to apply to have him freed under court supervision because he was not receiving proper treatment for a brain tumor that induced seizures.Laguens said she was also waiting for answers from Turkey regarding her client’s trips. Guney told investigators he had travelled to Turkey to find a wife and had bought tickets with disability payments he received from the French state.
POLITICAL FALLOUT
Lawyers both for Guney and the victims’ families in France and in Turkey say the investigation has dragged due to concern about political fallout from a case involving two NATO allies linked by a 2011 bilateral security accord.”It’s my impression that we (the French investigation) have received more information in this case through Turkish media than through international cooperation,” said Antoine Comte, a lawyer for the Kurdish victims in France.
Police sources said Turkey had earlier provided some biographical information about Guney, though the Turkish justice ministry statement made clear it had not been asked for any such cooperation.A spokesman for France’s foreign ministry said the French state exerts no influence over judicial investigations. Paris’ anti-terrorism court denied that political tension was slowing down the case.
New evidence could upset a ceasefire brokered between the PKK and Turkey: Kurdish rebels are disappointed with Turkish efforts to address their grievances and have said they are considering whether to maintain the deal.Lawyers also questioned the efficiency of judicial cooperation after the Turkish pro-government newspaper Bugun wrote that the prosecutor in Ankara had accused French authorities in August of failing to respond to his requests for details in the case.Turkish media wrote earlier this year that the Ankara prosecutor is conducting a separate probe under an article of penal law which says a person who commits a crime abroad while in the service of the Turkish state can be tried in Turkey, even if he is already found guilty abroad and/or has served time.Turkish media said the Ankara prosecutor is seeking to establish whether Guney was in the service of the Turkish state. The prosecutor’s office did not respond to requests for comment.”We feel that since the crime was committed in France, the real interlocutors are the French authorities. They must respond to the Turkish requests for information,” said Meral Danis Bestas, a lawyer in Turkey for the victims’ families. Two pieces of evidence in investigation files highlight Guney’s alleged ties to people in Turkey: three trips in August, October and December of 2012, and phone records from one of five cell phones that police say belonged to Guney. The latter show “dozens” of calls to Turkish numbers in the same period.
PHONE RECORDS
Comte said records of Guney’s phone activity with Turkey were placed in the investigations file in July, five months after his arrest. These contacts could be crucial to finding out whether Guney was involved in the killings and, if so, with or without foreign backing. However, the details cannot be checked without help from Turkey, Comte said.”You need an order from a Turkish judge to identify the interlocutors,” said another lawyer for the victims’ families, Jean-Louis Malterre. In France lawyers for victims can join criminal proceedings. They have access to investigation files and participate in trials. The Turkish system has similar provisions. While the French magistrate prepares to seek information from Turkey, one of the lawyers with access to the investigation file pointed to hold-ups on the French side.A month after Guney’s arrest, investigators from the French anti-terrorist unit, Sdat, checked the contents of a borrowed ….
Peugeot car …. (!!)
he used on the day of the killing; it was their second try. Dismantling the car, they found a passport behind the radio with stamps for three trips to Turkey, and a dry-cleaning bill dated a few days after the killings, Comte said.”When Guney was brought in, they missed half the things in his car,” the lawyer said. “The dry-cleaning bill didn’t enter the investigation file until a month later. If you look at the transcripts of the first hours of questioning, all they are doing is trying to update their archives about PKK activities.”Police sources had no comment on allegations that evidence was missed in the first search of Guney’s car. They said questioning had focused on his links to the PKK because he claimed to be a member. PKK officials have denied Guney was a member of the group. The appeal to Turkey for judicial help, to be lodged by investigating magistrate Jeanne Duye, comes after similar requests were sent to Holland and Germany – where Guney lived for nine years – and received replies.Other factors are also complicating the investigation. On September 25 Duye’s computer containing judicial files was stolen from her home. Duye’s office did not respond to a request for comment. Duye has not spoken publicly about the murder case.

BB you may well have hit the bullseye with this one. I remember we discussed the three PKK Paris victims at the time but what precisely i now forget. In any event we didn’t have all this later information you have now uncovered or the links to feuds in Lathule. I take my hat off to you on this one. Just a few rather feeble observations re timing and movements of the Paris killings suspect Guney, which would appear to fit very conveniently with the Chevaline event.
” According to the landlord, Ömer Ziya Güney lived in his house in the town of Schliersee, 50 km far from Munich, from mid 2011 until August of 2012 when he hastily left the house with a group of people accompanying him

MID AUGUST LEAVES GERMANY IN TWO VEHICLES FOR FRANCE. VERY NERVOUS.
Then the trips back to Turkey seem to fit as well: “Two pieces of evidence in investigation files highlight Guney’s alleged ties to people in Turkey: three trips in August, October and December of 2012, and phone records from one of five cell phones that police say belonged to Guney. NOTE HE’S AWAY BEFORE AND AFTER THE SEPTEMBER EVENT. Obviously we don’t know where he was in November but he’s away in December and back in the January for the Paris killings (Jan. 9, 2013) if indeed he is the killer. Peugeot as you noted. No RHD though.
All very circumstantial but a killer on the loose with Kurdish/Turkish connections? Plausible deniability of CIA/Mossad operatives. (Israel backs PKK doesn’t it as part of its plan to split up and neutralize Syria?) Meanwhile Turkey a NATO ally and important strategically to US. This could be the common factor that links both Mollier and Al Hilli sides of the equation. Bit too good to be true!
Oh, and him kept incommunicado/solitary confinement and papers stolen from the French Prosecutors office. That’s definately dark arts material.
