The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

If we find out about the Doussard/Lathuile couple that was beaten up by the local Kurds in that Doussard pizzeria early 2012 and heavily injured (a man and a woman) then we might be able to solve that crime. That couple are local people who – according to the Kurd’s lawyer, were also responsible for the fight as this family lives in a kind of blood feud (vendetta) with the kurds.
Le Dauphine prints the name of the Kurds but it does not mention the name of the severely injured local man and woman in that fight.
Werent there some reports that Sylvain Mollier was somehow injured a year before his death? But here I am not sure if i remember correct
Could we find that information in the papers of the local court? The local Kurd (Steve Havutcu) was sentenced to jailtime in August 2012 for that fight and for using a metal bar in that fight with that he severely injured both the woman and the man. (That is another significant date). The judge said that there is a blood feud/vendetta in Doussard.
Eric said that they do investigate a blood feud motive in the Tournier killings and he did not exclude a link to the chevaline killings.
We urgently need to read those court papers to find out about who this local family is who is involved in that vendetta with the Kurds. Isnt there a local journalist who could do that? The court papers must be public. Knowing that name might solve the crime.

ANKARA,— Kurdish organisations in France and Iraq on Wednesday claimed that the alleged killer of three female activists assassinated in Paris must have been a shadowy double agent working for Turkey.Omer Guney, 30, was charged with the triple murder on Monday.French authorities initially described him as an ethnic Kurd who had acted as an occasional driver for the most prominent victim, Sakine Cansiz, a co-founder of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
“After his arrest, we discovered that he was not Kurdish, as he had pretended, but was in fact a Turk from the Sivas region and the product of a family with links to the Turkish nationalist extreme right,” a statement from the Kurdish Information Centre in Paris said.
The Turkish extreme right are the Grey Wolves, who are closely connected with the French and the German far right and who got support by Iraq’s Saddam Hussein.. The Grey Wolves are a CIA stay behind organisation and they are funded by CIA (a La Rouche connection?).
The Grey Wolves are bitter rivals of the PKK particularly in regards of drugs trade and weapons smuggling.
Some background for better understanding about why western intelligence protects those killings as this is a NATO/GLADIO organisation.

Some legit questions regarding Murat Sahin from Switzerland by the Kurds, who apparently had beend arrested by the french in that murder case, too, but he had been released soon. Murat Sahin looks like the chevaline motorbiker efit. (See his picture in the link of my previous post)
http://kurd-info.blogspot.com/
Referring to the statements of Murat Şahin, a former member of MIT (National Intelligence Organization of Turkey), who claimed Ömer Güney was also a Membran of MIT, Baluken directed the following questions to the Prime Minister;
1 – Is there any CCTV recording of the area where the murders took place? Did the French authorities shared these recordings with you?
2 – How many times has the suspect, Ömer Güney, visited Turkey in the past two years? Which addresses has he visited during his stay in Turkey?
3 – Is there any information available as to whom Güney visited and where he stayed when he visited Ankara for ten days in August 2012? If there is any, what do we know about it?
4 – What is the reason for Ömer Güney moving from Turkey to France? On what grounds was he granted permission to reside in France?
5 – Is the killing of Sakine Cansız, a co-founder of PKK, related with the statements by military and civil bureaucrats and politicians who said one year ago that they would be targeting the leading staff of the PKK?
6- In which year did Turkey start to take part in the so-called NATO Gladio structure which has been set up in all NATO countries? What is the current state of this structure? Did this structure took part in killings carried out in Turkey? If yes, in how many ?
7- Did Murat Şahin, who spoke to the press in this sense on 31 January 2013, work for the MIT? If he did, what is his position in the mentioned organization?
8 – Was Murat Şahin arrested following the so-called “Revolutionary Headquarters” operation, and how many days did he remained in custody? What are the reasons for his arrest and release?
9 – Was Murat Şahin assigned to the Swiss city of Zurich after his release from the Revolutionary Headquarters operation [by MIT]? If he did, what was the task assigned to him?
10 – Did someone called “Mutlu” work for the Turkish Embassy in Switzerland? What is the work carried out by this person?
11 – Is the “Aunt” [the code name used by a woman Murat Şahin was his superior at MIT] an official of MIT? What is her work and role?
12 – What is the relationship between Ömer Güney, known by fellow MIT officers as “the Paris Heval” [The Paris Friend], and the MIT official code-named “Aunt”? How many times and where did these two people meet in the last two years?Δημοσιεύτηκε 7th February

Correction to my post 25 Nov, 2013 – 9:42 am
The fight in Doussard between the Kurds and that local couple (clan vs clan) happened in august 2012 but not in early 2012 as i had misinterpreted the french text.
The judgment at court appeared to have happened in september 2012.
The fight started in a pizzeria between the kurd and the local girl accompanied by a guy (boyfriend or husband) like a wrestling/fistfight and with insults. That fight apparently continued later that day at a Doussard ballroom/dancing night. The security could stop the fight and pushed the kurds out of the ballroom (obviously they did protect the local french). The Kurds waited until the girl and the guy left that ballroom at 4:00 am. When they left the ball, the Kurds organised their friends or family members and attacked them this time with metal bars and injured both of them severely, particularly the girl was severely injured.
If we could find a ballroom night in doussard in august 2012 then we know the date and place.
This is the entertainment program of the Doussard area in summer 2012 (july-sept)
http://www.cms-ot.com/documents/1326/Infos_pratique/brochures/Entertainement_Program_Summer2012.pdf

The only summer ball was july 14/15 the ski club ball. That was a weekend.
August 15 wasnt a weekend. I guess that le dauphine meant july 15th.
The ski club summer ball would be a hot guess. Who whom we know of was in ski clubs?
If we just knew the girl’s name who did fight with the kurds or the guy’s name who did fight with the kurds……
Here are photos of that summer ski club ball july 14 2012.
Hard to recognize the people, though.

Good points.
The couple that were attacked. That would be interesting to know. And it would be known locally for sure.
It is still trying to find that link.
NCT murder was a vendetta (lets say). Then how does she link to Mollier.
I think the SAH/SM murder was “local”. But I can’t grasp certain things about it.
The missing passports for one.
The “strange” ONF1 story is another.
The missing roof rail I think I figured out. But in doing so, I can’t understand the “police” story of the shooting (if the missing roof rail “theory” is correct).

I have to say, he does look like the drawing that the French released.
Without a doubt he does.

1) As long as we dont know about who the other family (clan) is, we cannot necessarily link them although the chances in the NCT murder are good because Eric said something about a possible vendetta.
2) We have no doubts that intelligence organisations are either involved or that they have an interest to hide the motive and to protect the killers.
3) There still is a possibility that this was a Gladio/Nato operation PLUS a local thing (e.g. we organise a killing plus get this guy from that hated local family to go there at that very time and we can finish him off, too).
4) There is still the possibility that this was a war between two competitive drug trading groups. Not that they were dealing/trading drugs there but a constructed meeting for new business/customers that ended with a killing because they were no customers but competitors. Personally i believe that the annecy/geneve area with so many rich people and tourists plus UNO, banks and organisations must be a wonderful business area for drug sales with lots of good customers in that area. Competition must be tough with local warzones in the annecy/geneva. E.g. kurds (PKK) versus grey wolves/CIA versus Hezbollah/Iran drug traders.
5) we should also consider the 1.2 million anti tanks missiles deal that caused the arrest of a high ranked PKK member in Paris and the arrest of 5 more PKK members in france. The missiles should be smuggled from NATO depots in Europe to middle eastern warzones (syria?) by those PKK members.
Whatever this was, it was something that should not result in providing the truth.
As a 6th possibility, the LeDauphine local vendetta article could be propaganda by french intelligence and a lie. It was published after the al hilli killings. It was only LeDauphine who did report this. And they used a wrong date (August 15 instead of July 15). On August 15 there was no ball/party in Doussard. Hence this wasnt even a weekend then. On July 14/15 there was the one and only ball/party in Doussard. (Doussard ski club ball). Did LeDauphine create an error by accident? Or else was this just propaganda published by Eric to hide the real reason of that chevaline killing? And why were the names of the victims kept secret?
James
Murat Sahin.
I agree. It almost looks as if the efit is a generated photoshopped computer file of his photo.
1) He is (he say that he was) a member of the Turkish intelligence or better: of the CIA/Gladio network.
2)He lives in Switzerland (Luger!!).
3)plus he knows the killer of the three Kurdish women in Paris.
4) Nobody knows what he really does in Switzerland nowadays.
Here is his picture again:

If somebody got a contact to a local french journalist or to a british journalist investigating chevaline, ask him to find out the names of the two Havutcu victims in Doussard.
If we knew their names then we could answer many pending questions.
Court data of already finished criminal prosecutions are usually available free for public access. We also know the name of Havutcu’s lawyer. The journalist could call that local lawyer, too.
James
I checked and compared the two pictures again and again. Even the scars are identical.
One is between upper nose and eye on the right side of the picture (therefore that eyebrow on the right side of the picture is shorter than the other one) and the other scar is on his forehead on the right side of the pictures, too.

He (Murat Sahin – the turkish MIT/Gladio guy who looks exactly like the chevaline efit) ) is now hoping for a French witness protection program: “If the French police and the judiciary will ensure my physical safety and security, I can share all my knowledge with them.”
Above quote is from a German source but this is hot stuff:

Blue….
Lets get this a little straighter. And a few “basic” facts (that we know)
Ömer Güney currently in jail awaiting trial for the PKK murders in Paris.
Turkey say that these murders were an “internal battle” within the PKK.
End of…
Murat Şahin a former Turkish agent based out of the embassy in Switzerland and still living in that country says Güney was also “a spy”.
Turkey are pretty much refusing to deal with France on this investigation.
Şahin wants to get into the French witness protection program…and “spill the beans”. He’s pretty much in danger what ever he does.
Is that “about” right ?
Of course add in a lot more politics and a dash of back stabbing.
Now Şahin….just so happens to look a lot like the artists impression of the Chevaline killer. And would be “known” to the French secret service/French police service/Swiss police/et al… and anyone that cares to type in to google “PKK PARIS KILLINGS” and have a root around.
James
Your summary from above is 100% correct regarding all what we do know as per yet.
http://solidariteetprogres.org/
Meanwhile – as a sidenote – i was checking about what does solidarite et progres think about PKK?
They are totally against PKK and in all their reports and discussions on their website they treat PKK as their most bitter rivals and as terrorists.
As a matter of fact, solidarite et progress HATES the PKK.
They insist that PKK receives their orders and agenda from the UK secret service and from NATO headquarters. They insist that PKK directly works for British interests.
Consequently, if SM was a solidarite et progres activist, he must have HATED the PKK, too.
If he happened to know Steve Havutcu and Mehmet Aker from Faverges then he definitely was NO friend but rather an arch enemy who would probably oppose their interests and not unlikely even fight them. Therefore it is likely that he or another progres & solidarite member was part of that couple who had a fight with the Havutcu brothers. The latter is just a theory but one that might easily fit due to the stance of solidarite et progres versus PKK.
However, only if we finally know the name of that family involved in that vendetta we can decide about a conclusion. However, Sylvain Mollier and Claire Schutz (she looks like a strong and athletic woman) being that couple fistfighting and beating up the Havutcu brothers in that Doussard pizzeria shortly before they went to the Doussard ski club ball, is based on some sense of logic if SM really was a member of solidarite et progres. At 4:00 am after that ski club ball ended, Havutcu comes back with some friends carrying iron bars and injures that couple who just left the ball.

Correct. What you probably mean: That is the annual lake festival at lake d’annecy.
Sylvain Tournier organises this lake festival and he is responsible for the fire work, too. He is the chief of the festival organisation.

@ James & Bluebird
The ‘robot picture’ and the picture of Murat Şahin do indeed look as if they could be the same person.
But I reckon that a straight-on picture of SAH would also be a ringer for the photofit, sans goatee of course.
So, the scenario would be that MŞ on motorcycle turns up for a meeting (face not visible because of helmet, shades and possibly visor) he then farts around between the carpark and the second hairpin. Finally he is moved on by the ONF and decides to ride slowly down the combe keeping an eye out for the person he was due to meet.
Meanwhile SAH arrives at Le Martinet and gets out to look at the sign. Our bad actor, hiding behind the sign, thinks “Bang on time” glances down at the mugshot he was given, “And he’s had a shave” then groans “the feckwit brought his family!”
Good in Parts
As long as we don’t know the family who lives in Vendetta with the local Kurdish clan in Faverges/Lathuile/Doussard, we can only speculate. However, once we know the name of that family (the locals and Eric must know that name), we could have some proof based on facts.
As i did point out, there are still many pending options. However, now i see and understand pretty well what Zaid AH did mean to say in his interview.
The NCT murder and Eric’s report about a possible vendetta and a possible link to chevaline did wide open a door for a possibly quick solution. We did always speculate here that the assassination of the kurdish women in paris might be somehow connected, too.
We could also speculate about why NCT was killed and what did the masked men really want? JP CT is responsible for the local forestry. He knows the local forestry workers and perhaps it was even him who was one of them.
The murder took place only one week after the efit was released.
Why was that efit released that late? Did Eric fear that it would set the witnesses on danger?
Possibly. Perhaps JP NC himself was that forestry witness who saw the killer? Perhaps they just “visited” NC to blackmail the names of the forestry workers (witnesses)?
Perhaps it was part of a vendetta or both?
We really need to know the names of the Havutcu victims to answer these questions. The locals must know them and there are public court files, too.
Following up
Zainab was a witness, too.
She still is under 24×365 police protection!
Was JP CT as the local forestry chief of staff another witness? One who did not get any police protection like Zainab?
The authorities surely know that there are dangerous people involved who would do everything including killing if necessary, for getting rid of all witnesses. We should consider that, too.

In the Kurdish press, Yeni Özgür Politika (pro PKK) published the confessions of Murat Sahin, a Kurd from Elazig, who claimed he was an MIT agent when arrested in December 2011 in a police operation against an extreme Left organisation. Affirming he was an agent, he was released a week later, and is said to have returned to Switzerland. Feeling he had been “exploited” by the State, which, he said, had employed him he had left the Turkish Intelligence. This person, who seems very inclined to embroider the truth, stated to Ozgur Politika and to the NûçeTV channel, that he recognised Omer Guney from a photo that an MIT agent had shown him, pointing him out as one of their men in Paris. He also insisted on the story that “two or three ” agents would have accompanied him.
Basing itself on an article in Hurriyet dated 19 October 2012, Yeni Ozgur Politika mentioned a reward of 4 million Turkish liras (1.6 million euros) that Turkey had planned to pay for the execution of 50 PKK leaders, including 20 European cadres.
http://www.todayszaman.com/newsDetail_getNewsById.action?newsId=305827
In a related development, it has been claimed that Murat Şahin, a National Intelligence Organization (MİT) agent whose identity was compromised during an investigation into an organization called the Revolutionary Command Center, knew Güney. According to the Yeni Özgür Politika daily, published in Europe, Şahin, who currently resides in Switzerland, told the paper that he knew Güney to be a “Paris staff member.”
