Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

We had discussed that topic in this blog long ago. Simply because the alps killing happened on the day of the 40th anniversary.

However, if there was a relation and a target then it could be Iqbal’s mother only, since all the other killed people involved were just little children at that time.

    http://m.bbc.com/news/world-europe-19487315

  • bluebird

Several hours before each assassination, each target’s family received flowers with a condolence card reading: “A reminder we do not forget or forgive.

    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wrath_of_God

We haven’t been told whether or not Iqbal’s mother received flowers before they were killed. Were the flowers the reason why she fled from Stockholm to her daughter in London? Were the flowers the reason why they tried to hide in france?

Were the flowers in that case perhaps that “stylish flower house” in Doussard, the only photo of them (deliberately) leaked to MSM? Why that photo in particular? Was the flower house photo staged in a mossad studio? Is it photoshopped?

Why was particularly that photo released to the media – a photo with LOTS of flowers!

Was this a photoshopped photo deliberately released to MSM by the mossad kidon team? Was that photo the so called “flower ceremony”?
Had this photo ever been investigated wheter or not it was photoshopped? We know that the flower house exists but we never knew whether or not they really posed in front of that house. we just had the photo and we accepted that photo without doing any closer investigation of that photo.

    We’ll never know.

  • bluebird

    follow up:

The MSM talked about the flower house photo LONG before we were allowed to see this photo. Why? Why in particular did they talk so intensely about the flowers?

Saad and family obviously had smart phones and digital photo cameras. They must have taken hundreds of pictures while they were in France. Particularly when you have little children you will do dozens of photos every hour. On the camping ground, in the tent, in the pool, in the car, with grandma, eating ice cream, etc.

There must be hundreds of pictures. We know that. We never saw only one of the pictures.
However, we were allowed to see that very picture with the flowers.

Was that picture the deliberate message from the “Wrath of God” as they were used to do that before? Possibly!

    Bluebird,
perhaps Grandma needs a little bit more looking into.
Grandma is the only person to have been eliminated at Le Martinet
that we have not yet seen her likeness.

Also, she may not actually be the real”mother” of Iqbal,
remember the little girl did not know who she was?

  • bluebird

Just to remember the text of the MSM regarding the flower house. Why are the flowers deliberately mentioned all over MSM “minutes before their death”?
“Wrath of God” in Val d’Ire?

    http://www.theguardian.com/world/2012/oct/12/french-alps-shooting-photographs-taken

Newly discovered photographs of the Hillis with their daughters Zainab, seven, and Zeena, four, who survived the attack, only add to the mystery. The holiday snaps, which have not been released, were taken by Mr Hilli and show his wife, mother and daughters smiling outside a picture-postcard local house, decked with flowers, close to the nearby village of Doussard, half a mile from where the attack happened.

Detectives believe that minutes after the pictures were taken, the family were killed.

Officers believe the snaps go some way to discrediting claims that the 50-year-old had driven his family up the Combe d’Ire for a prearranged “secret” meeting, but admit they are sure of nothing.

  • bluebird

Now let’s remember the Wrath of God wikipedia article:

Several hours before each assassination, each target’s family received flowers with a condolence card reading: “A reminder we do not forget or forgive.

    take note of:
    — several hours before each assassination

    — family received flowers

    — condolence card

Take note about the flowers and the “condolence card”

Now read the guardian article again!

Now take particular attention of the words:

    — picture-postcard (=condolence card?)

    — decked with flowers

    — minutes after the family were killed

    hmmmm … coincidence?

     ….

    guardian:
by Mr Hilli and show his wife, mother and daughters smiling outside a picture-postcard local house, decked with flowers

Detectives believe that minutes after the pictures were taken, the family were killed.

I wonder if The French often seal off crime scenes for eight hours
before forensic hit teams are allowed in, the cynical might imagine,
the crime scene being re-arranged first?

Who were the leading PLO women of that time whose age would fit with Iqbal’s “mother”?

    Google Books
Daughters of Palestine: Leading Women of the Palestinian National Movement

    by Amal Kawar, 1996

Sulafa Hijawi had to face this issue when she began to work with Arafat, who is known for his night-long schedule. Hijawi is actually an old hand in the Palestinian movement, as founder of both the Palestinian Women’s Union and the Writers’ .

    Sulafa Hijawi (Iraq)
    Hanan Ashrawi
    Salwa Abu Khadra (Jaffa, Damascus)
    Issam Abdel Hadi (Jordan)
    Samiha Khalil (Gaza)
Fatima Bernawi (Jordan) note:She has black skin!
    Um Lutuf
    Khadije Abu Ali (Jordan)

    Suhyla al Allaf?
Or else was that an invented name? Why no photos of Iqbal’s mother? Was she one of the prominent female PLO leaders as listed above or perhaps even black? Wasnt that person Iqbals mother but just a friend of her mother whom they took care of? Of course you couldnt present a picture of a black woman as Iqbal’s mother. Could you?

Wasn’t it said ( two years ago)that “Grandma” came from Sweden with her demented son, she had him put in an asylum in England, then the Family al Hilli made a hasty journey to Savoie,
    with “Grandma”

  • michael norton

I wonder if “the son” of “Grandma” is still in secure accomodation in England and who is paying for him.

we dont even know whether or not grandma was grandma. the 2 children didnt recognize her. Not babies. children! with the age of 4 or elder you must be intelligent enough to know who your grandma is, even then if you saw her only once a year. Hence they were said to travel in the same car and to live in the same tent while they were in france. but they dont know her?

maybe grandma had been substituted on that day?
maybe grandma died earlier a natural death but this old woman wasnt grandma?
    we won’t know.

“Martin” had visited Ukraine about 15 times as a tourist.

He was particularly excited about the architecture of Odessa,
this year alone he had visited the city twice to study local architectural monuments.

    Rubbish this is another spook.

This is the Glenn Miller as described in your media link. He was married to Patricia B Cross. (just another coincidence since the American Nazi Green Barrett killer with the name Glenn Miller had the real name “Glenn Cross”).

    NAME: Glenn J Y Miller
BIRTH: Jun 1949  – Portsmouth, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Isle of Wight

    NAME: Glenn J Y Miller
    SPOUSE: Patricia B Cross
MARRIAGE: Mar 1971  – Portsmouth, Hampshire
    OTHER: Jan-Feb-Mar 1971

    Patricia B Cross
    Glenn J Y Miller
    Jan-Feb-Mar 1971
    Portsmouth
    Hampshire

    NAME: Patricia B Cross
BIRTH: Mar 1953  – Portsmouth, Hampshire

Most recently Glenn Miller was registered at a Portsmouth address together with Theresa E Miller who likely is his sister as having been mentioned in the media.

Just a theory. Frazier Glenn Cross jr. was born in 1940 in North Carolina. His father was a military officer. Also Glenn Cross jr. was in the military and in Vietnam.
In 1941 – shortly after he was born – the USA joined WW2.

    Portsmouth?
Wasnt the US navy in portsmouth during WW2?
Patricia Cross was born in 1953.
Did Frazier Glenn Cross sr. find a new wife in Portsmouth? Was Patricia Cross the sister or half sister of Glenn Cross jr.?

She married in 1971 and became Patricia Miller.
In the 1970tees, Frazier Glenn Cross jr. adopted the name Miller. Coincidence?
Later the real Glenn Miller from Portsmouth went to North America/Canada, too.

    Coincidence?

I know. This is just a fantasy based on facts and birth certificates. But a good one.

    well spotted Bluebird
24 Sep, 2014 – 11:04 am! This rings true. So typical – an ostensibly “innocent” image with a secret message to those to whom it would be intended. Far more sophisticated than finding a horse’s head in the bed. Your idea gains credibility when we remember the problems with that “3.15 pm” photo. It seems the shadows might fit the time, but the time didn’t fit anything else – either the builder’s evidence, or the sufficient time slot, or WBM’s evidence, or first forestry man’s evidence going down. Further suspicion thrown by police attempting to modify the time of the photo when the 3.15 proved untenable and the manner in which it was released subsequently. Four smiling relaxed people just before heading off to a very shady rendezvous, by a man fearful for his safety, after arguing with an unidentified stranger only the night before? Unlikely I would say. If the police didn’t release the photo who did and why? Your suggestion may be the answer BB.

Of course this WASN’T the photo I referred to above but another one at a different location (sorry I forget specifics now) but you notice the one in the article claims to have been taken by SAH of mother-in-law, wife and children whereas one mysteriously released is taken by a third person whom we assume was Suhayla. I think I am right in saying that the “flowery postcard” image has NOT been released to this day or we might know what Suhayla looked like. Is there anything that might be inferred by the release of the one but not the other? Of course if the published one was taken at 3.15 presumably the flower house picture was taken after, thus making the arrival time at Chevaline 3.30 at the latest, even less possible than before. The only way photos and events can be reconciled is if their police-reported times were incorrect or they were taken on a different day entirely.

plus read the following words twice:

“A reminder we do not forget or forgive.”

That sentence was always sent on the condolence card to the family.

My reaction: “what was tgeir message to the family this time?”

    answer: “Meeting point: Combe d’Ire”

    Doesnt that mean the same?

    So then we have:
    1) Family incl. mother smiling on a “picture postcard” in front of a flower house on a setup photo.

    2) Go to combe d’ire (“street of wrath”) next.

    3) get killed

    4) never show a picture of iqbal’s mother. never. because her face might be known to media from her PLO top position!

What else do we need when we use logic?

what else do we need when we had investigated the history of both families with their high political profiles, their UNO connections and their secret service connections?

  • bluebird

    tim v.

I should have written “iqbal’s mother” except for iqbal’s mother, simply because we dont know whether she was her mother or just another person they took care of. Remember that the children (already 4 and 8 years old!) didnt know who she was although they were travelling together from england, took the same car and lived in the same tent for several days.

I already knew who my grandma was when i was two yrs old, even then when i hadnt seen her for months. you probably, too!

  • Q

So who do you think got the card, Bluebird? Saad’s brother, or someone on Iqbal’s side, like her sister? It it was “grandmaman” that was the target, the maternal side of the family would make sense. Now let’s step back to that article about “Wrath of God” again. Remember long ago when the topic of burkas was discussed? Think of men dressed as women, brought in the day before the hits in “Wrath of God”. Think of missing passports. Think of rented vehicles. I see why you want to revisit this topic.

  • bluebird

    Q

when it was a wrath of god operation, the target must be in her late 60tees or 70tees.

Therefore the only target in a wrath of god OP was the person of whom we have got no picture.

I dont think that she was a guy. People in the camping would gave recognised that. a camping is no private area.

However, we dont know whether or not she was iqbal’s mother since the children didnt know who she was. That would suggest that she was an old person who did not belong to the closer family. Somebody for whom the agent Iqbal had to care for her safety. Since we werent allowed to see her photo she must have been a prominent PLO member. I listed the names of the most prominent ones in a message earlier today.

That’s all true for the suggestion/option that the killing was a wrath of god OP on the 40th anniversary of the munich olympics terror attack.

  • Q

We don’t know who was in Saad’s vehicle that day, Bluebird. Granny might not have gone along. Someone might have taken her place. Why the missing passports? The whole thing is so full of hot air, it’s hard to believe anything. Anyways, who do you think got the warning card?

17.00 – More witness reports are emerging on Friday, in particular surrounding suspicious vehicles seen near the crime scene. Several media are carrying reports from a witness who claimed to have seen a Peugot 306 being driven erratically shortly after the estimated time of the murders.

“It was trying to overtake everyone even though traffic was light. Initially I thought it was two girls inside but when they passed me they looked weird and had weird hair as if they were wearing wigs. They acted like they were trying to get away. They seemed very nervous,” the witness said. Other witnesses reported seeing a white 4×4 driving away from the crime scene.
