Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

It may be helpful to know what happened to the “brother” of Iqbal,
who we have been told ( a little more than two years ago) was left in a mental institution by his “mother” immediately before The Family al Hilli left for Savoie.

What was the place he was put in.
    Is he still there.
Who is paying for his stay.

Of the countries that have involvement in The Slaughter of the Horses
    Sweden has been very quiet.
    Why would that be.
    Does it involve Assange?

  • michael norton

    grandmas are usually inoffensive

We can understand why the faces of the two girls have not be shown
by why wouldn’t you show a picture of grandma?

  • michael norton

    O.K.
now I would suggest if it costs eight hundred pounds a week to keep an old person in a home with minimal medical assistance that it will cost a lot more to keep a young man in a secure institution.
Now maybe grandma has unlimited cash but let’s say the cost of being in one of these places is £1700 / week times 100 weeks would equate to £170,000
the cost of a two bedroom house.

So did grandma stump up two hundred grand in advance.
If she is dead this money can’t still be coming out of her account.
Her husband is dead, so he is not paying.
Or is the Swedish government paying or has he been returned to Sweden.

Or was this a deal, struck between grandma and the U.K. “authorities”

Is this yet another indication of X

When he’s mentally ill you can’t trust him to keep quiet about his mother/sister. Therefore you must lock him if you want to keep a secret a secret. I wouldnt be surprised if it were the british government who is silently paying the costs just to keep him quiet. And once he becomes too expensive then he’ll die. Presumably suicide.

you dont show grandma because she’s the person of interest. somebody would be able to identify her face. I wonder about that palestinian PLO activist from Amman, her age, who has black skin. Would that be a good reason not to show her face?
We dont know whether or not grandma was grandma or perhaps somebody else whom the children dont know.

    Eggsakerly BB

you don’t show the face of “grandma” because she will be “known”

These cleaners are think they are clever but things can become clearer by omission.

    Only one corps shown,
purported to be of the local victim Sylvain Mollier.
Head fuzzed out, only very old photo of Sylvain shown–clue
No blood or guts in the BMW—-clue
    No photo shown of “grandma”—-clue
    No photo of Sylvain’s bike—–clue
No story of the roof bar——-clue

No mention of Sylvain being related to The Family Communal-Tournier,
even though one week after the e-fit was released Mrs. & Mr. C-T. were brutalised in their own home with Nicol being murdered —clue x2

Pharmacie Scxhutz-Morange adjacent to Sapeur-pompier building in Grignon- 2k from emergency helicopter site, yet no mention of Sylvain having left from Grignon on his cycle route—clues multiple.

    clues ad infinitum.

The name Miller has shown up a couple of times before so I will note them here not for any connection to anything other than the name appeared in research.

David John Miller showed in posts of links to 55,princes gate on the various blogs looking at BM’s business.
    http://www.cdrex.com/david-john-miller/135301.html

and someone called kabou at MZT in 2012 was trying to draw her attention to this page with the name Otis Miller but people didn’t really understand why.

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:BhbYb6xdlTMJ:zombie-apocalypse.forumactif.ca/t1100-otis-miller+&cd=8&hl=fr&ct=clnk&gl=fr&client=firefox-a

Oui turned up this bit of info which may or may not be related.

also another random bit of information to have on this page is that when SAH went to france in 2011 I think it was, he went on the ferry from portsmouth as reported in one of the newspapers a couple of people wondered why he didn’t fly at the time ,I cant give a link but its on this blog somewhere .

  • Q

@ Pink et al: Yes, Saad did take the ferry from Portsmouth to go to France. He was an employee of DMC International Imaging at the time, but we don’t know for sure if this was the purpose of his visit, or if he had other business.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2200600/French-Alps-murder-Letter-shows-animosity-victim-brother.html

Are you thinking that he might have been on a no-fly list because of his trip to Qom?

The wigs, Michael Norton, the wigs. As far as we know, there is no proof of “granny’s” body being found, nor are we sure of DNA tests for any of the bodies found at the scene. Everything involves taking the French investigators’ word for everything, which is increasingly questionable.

BTW, have you ever noticed that the evasive manoeuvres of police officers driving in a police chase is quite distinctive? It’s terrifying if you’re a bystander, but they definitely seem to know what they’re doing (or so we hope!).

  • Pink

@ Q No I was not thinking that at all I was just noting the Miller/Portsmouth bits and pieces near the story of Glenn Miller in case it became useful at any point.
The Miller case might just be a random murder it just didn’t sit right so I wanted to point it out in case anyone found any connections, its not always easy to tell between the threads what bit of info may be useful.

I have never come across anything that makes me suspicious of SAH or Zaid ,the family overall seem to be decent people ,I could buy into SAH working for one of the many agencys .
As I am a simple soul with not much life experience in these matters, well in fact none at all I don’t think my opinion really counts.

My main two ideas are SM target for reasons unknown possible infidelity as has previous form.
or SAH target because of something he found in his fathers will.
With the attacks on his passwords and credit cards before and after his death and his fallout with Zaid causing a certain amount of distrust between them I am not sure much can be made of anything SAH did.
Back of my mind things that may or may not be related are the postman not seeing Iqbal ,Iqbal not on the electoral roll for the house and Mr Saltman mentioning SAH had a personal problem he had known about for some months has made me wonder if they were estranged and the children visited.
My other thoughts are I am not sure how much James Matthews can be relied on for information, if he was genuine he could have been a lot more helpful.
The person I would most like to have the opinion of is Mr Saltman.

    Q
“Are you thinking that he might have been on a no-fly list because of his trip to Qom?”

  • Pink

@Q For the record I have not given up on the gouges yet either ,I am done with the bikes now so I am making progress 🙂

    Pink 10.56am
are you thinking Saad al Hilli dropped in on Glenn Miller in Portsmouth on his way to France for a little chat
    or perhaps they went together.
This might have been just before Glenn Miller moved to France.
Maybe they both went from Portsmouth to the farmhouse in Brittany?

  • Pink

MN There is no connection that I know .
They both own a property in France and were both murdered in France is about it .
See if you can find a link we need some leads .

  • michael norton

Well, if someone knows what date Mr. Glenn Miller moved into the farmhouse of his “uncle”
and if someone knows which port Saad sailed into.
did Saad own a leather berret or any musical instruments?

  • Q

The Portsmouth connection is a valid point, Pink.

An ex-Legionnaire was interrogated in relation to the Chevaline assassinations and later suicided in Ugine. This was an ex-Legionnaire who was/had been in a romantic relationship with Sylvain Mollier’s sister. Why haven’t we learned anything about her?

Anyways, we know that the French Foreign Legion gives its new members fake identities, and sometimes Canadian passports to go along with those fake identities. If they serve out their time, they are entitled to French citizenship in a name of their choosing. Is this how “Glenn Miller” came to live where he did? The French Foreign Legion trains at “farms” and sends its old vets to work on a real farm, or vineyard.

Could it be that “Glenn Miller” was an ex-French Foreign Legion member who took the name of a rock bassist from Canada? Could Saad be the one who made contact with an ex-member of the FFL, and if so, why? Why did Saad visit the Swiss bank which happens to be the Credit Agricole — yes, Credit Agricole is used by the FFL for its members, and there is a Credit Agricole in the centre of Ugine.

I’ll leave it at that for now.

@MN From your own link above Glenn Miller Canada died March 2011
villagers said Glenn Miller France arrived about the same time .

    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/512952/Briton-murdered-in-rural-France-had-assumed-the-identity-of-dead-rock-star

“Detectives in Brittany had been told that the 65-year-old man, gunned down in his converted farmhouse, was a retired guitarist called Glenn Miller.

But they have now discovered that the real Miller died of natural causes in Toronto three years ago.

The musician played bass guitar for nearly 30 years for cult Canadian rock band Chilliwack which had its heyday in the 1970s.

Residents in Plounevez-Lochrist, near the Channel port of Roscoff, say the Briton appeared in their hamlet at about the time of the musician’s death.

He never played guitar for them saying he had given up due to arthritis but he let them listen to recordings of music he claimed was his.

Villagers were convinced by his eccentric image, which included a shaven head, leather beret and John Lennon spectacles.

Gendarmes discovered the truth when they contacted police in Canada.

They were told Miller – who had left Chilliwack in 1988 for a career in drug rehabilitation work – died in March 2011 after suffering from muscular dystrophy.”

    and

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Mr al-Hilli subscribed to the Google Circles social networking website, where he recorded his own movements. This showed that on December 14 and 15 last year he had been working at DMC Imaging, a subsidiary of SSTL.
On December 16 he left the Brittany Ferries dock in Portsmouth Harbour on a business visit to France.

Stranger and stranger, his “ex-wife” pops up

“He had the full-scale gypsy attire.
He had the English sailor look. He had lots of outfits.
It was a fun thing, not identity theft. There’s a big difference.”

The reports say French police had confirmed the Chilliwack connection through conversations with Canadian authorities. The RCMP told Torstar News Service they would not speak to another country’s investigation and could not confirm or deny whether French authorities had contacted them about the case.

The French prosecutor’s office was closed when Torstar News Service made numerous attempts at contacting overseas officials Wednesday to discuss the case.

    Excerpt:

“In Song of Songs (2:2) G‑d refers to the Jewish nation as a Shoshana: “As a rose among the thorns, so is My beloved among the daughters.” The commentators explain this to mean that “As a rose among the thorns which pierce it, but it remains constant in its beauty and its redness, so is My beloved among the daughters. They entice her to pursue them to stray like them after strange gods, but she remains firm in her faith.”

It could be that Sylvan, W.B.M., Mr.& Mrs.(Smith) al Hilli, Grandma & Glenn Miller
    are all actors.
    What links them.
Apart from W.B.M. all killed in the countryside in France.

  • Q

Total rubbish about “Glenn Miller” not knowing who Chilliwack was, MN. A musician living in Toronto and working as a musician in Toronto’s Kensington market, especially one of that age, would know who Chilliwack is. They were huge, huge hitmakers for people of his generation. Mme Gauthier, “It’s total fantasy,” right back at you.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilliwack_(band)

Those songs get radio play to this day. As for the bar where the memorial will be held: “sleazy”, “dive”, etc.

FWIW, Lola is supposed to mean “grandmother” in Tagalog.
