The Al-Hilli Conundrum 6629

My post on the shootings in France has brought tens of thousands of people to this site – but not to read my dull contribution. People are coming to read the comments from other readers.

Today’s development of the bomb squad descending on the al-Hilli house does not in itself worry me enormously. You may recall the massive terror scare that was ramped up when some Muslim students in Manchester were found to own a bag of sugar.

In fact we have the opposite phenomenon today, with the spook-fed “security correspondents” on TV lining up to tell us it is probably just everyday household stuff. This deviation from the standard Islamophobic “Muslims = bombs” narrative is so startling it makes me wonder why the “move along, nothing to see here” line is being taken so quickly.

My own security services sources insist that al-Hilli was not a person of current interest to the UK intelligence agencies and was not involved in anything clandestine. I have no reason to disbelieve them. On the other hand, the limited and confusing information in the media is almost entirely from official sources. I find it very strange indeed how little attention has been paid to the murdered French cyclist, and how easily it is presumed he was just a passerby. Surely it is as likely he was the intended victim and the al-Hillis the accidental witnesses?

Please do read the comments on my first entry on the subject to see the debate unfettered by the censorship in the mainstream media. This is perhaps my favourite comment:

From Janesmith101

All comments regarding Sylvain, Al-Hilli and a possible nuclear link are being removed from sites I’ve posted on in The Guardian, Independent and Huffpo UK.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/sep/09/alps-killer-motive-baffles-police

Here was my comment, I added as a point of fact it was completely speculative and an unproven theory in a later comment, also removed.

Sylvain Mollier, the ‘passing’ cyclist, was in fact a nuclear metallurgist who worked for a french nuclear company called Cezus (a subsidiary of Areva). Cezus fabricates and processes zirconium into metal and nuclear grade zircoaloy for nuclear fuel assemblies – it also has other applications in aerospace such as components and ceramics for missiles and satellites. Mr Al-Hilli was also a skilled aerospace engineer, on what looks to be his first camping holiday.

What is the probability that two highly skilled engineers managed be at the same remote place, at the same time, yet still managed to end up dead as a result of what looks to be a military style assasination?

As someone else pointed out in The Independent comments, the deceased were found by a ‘retired’ RAF officer who, we assume, will recieve perpetual anonymity as a witness. If the police are looking for a motive, try an intercepted rendevous by a security service fixated on denying a hostile power illicit nuclear technology.

http://wrmea.org/component/content/article/162-1995-june/7823-israel-bombs-iraqs-osirak-nuclear-research-facility.html

The Huffington Post UK reports that this wasn’t the family’s first trip to the camp site. An earlier report had asked other camp site visitors whether they had seen the family before and they had replied they hadn’t. If this isn’t wasn’t the first visit by Al-Hilli, it might slightly increase the odds that he knew or had met Mollier before, this being the last in a series of rendevous of a transactional nature. Mollier lived and worked locally.

Again, I’m not sure of the truth of these reports, there is some very sloppy journalism, as there is always seems to be. I’ve read for example Mollier’s company Cevus descirbed as a steel firm something which it is patently not, but perhaps it may have been a detail lost in translation.

An interesting comment summing up some of the strange coincidences, at least, surrounding these murders. My other favourite comment calls me a “macchiavellian shill”.

I have only one thought of my own I want to add at the minute. Al-Hilli was a Shia muslim and had been on pilgrimage to Qoms in Iran. What if it is indeed true that he was in possession of no especial nuclear or defence secrets to pass on to the Iranians, but the Israelis thought that he was? The Israeli programme of assassination of scientists involved in Iran’s nuclear programme is a definite fact. It makes as much sense as anything else at the moment, as a possibility.

I am not saying that is what happened. But the directions in which the mainstream media is being so strenuously pointed by official sources, like the massacre of an entire family over an inheritance, are certainly no more inherently probable. Certainly as we are now told all the shots were from one gun, for the assassin to get each victim in the head with none of them being able to escape, indicates real proficiency with the weapon and a very high level of training.

    Following up the Jean Claude Mollier link. One scientist who worked with j.c.mollier quite often due to signatures in scientific releases is Pakistani scientist Ahmad Hayat. Don’t the search for a mysterioue Pakistani right now? Ahmad Hayat works in Montreal.

    However, check out what blog entry I found, written by Ahmad Hayat:

    http://blogs.tribune.com.pk/story/3452/the-secret-of-western-domination/

    Does that ring a bell for some of you?

    In case there is a link between j.c.mollier and sylvain, then we have a link beteen Hayat and SAH perhaps as well. That could be exciting.

    Who is j.c.mollier apart from his scientific success with aeronautics, space and laser technology? He knew Ahmad Hayat for sure because they worked together. Did he know Sylvain and did he know SAH? Did SAH know Hayat?

    @GuyF

    I still think they’ve lost something important in this debacle therefore the silence through D-Notice and the non co-operation from the Home Office to the French authorities.

    I agree.

    Now the bit I’m puzzling over is, why would it be in the UK’s interest to help Iran’s nuclear ambitions, or warhead delivery programme?

    If SAH had double-crossed the UK and helped Iran off his own bat, eg while visiting Qom in Iran last year, close to Iran’s secret and well-defended nuclear bunker, and let’s say Mossad had found out, then all Mossad would have had to do would be to rat him out him to MI6, and job done.

    So… if SAH pissed Mossad off enough to kill him then he had to be eg selling shit to Iran, but then why would the UK want to help Iran.

    It just doesn’t make any sense.

  • Guy_Fawkes2010

    @BB Mostly focused on Telecoms systems though, although the Opto/Microwave research may be interesting for weaponisation.

    @guy

    Mollier is the chef de ISAE

    http://www.isae.fr/

    And funny enough, ISAE and SurreySattelites are working on many scientific projects together. Simply search the web for ISAE & SSTL. Coincidence?

    And our Pakistani friend Ahmad Hayat who seeks WW3 in his blog, is also working for ISAE, he seems to be the right hand of Jean Claude Mollier in all his publicattions about laser-xray and laser-microvave studies. Coincidence?

    I feel that i have accidentally opened the box of the pandora by finding Hayat and the coincidence of the name Mollier.

    Here’s another link to the article, Ferret:

    As for your comments, Anders, I assume that you are warning me rather than other posters to be careful, but if I am the problem to be worried about, so be it.

    =====
    No. You ASS-ume wrong matey boy.

    I am telling other posteres to be very VERY careful.

    WHY?

    I have the goods on you.

    Reminds me of a poster, one jamtjim, warning posters on Sweden’s The Local that I am a fraud, liar, cheat, and welcher.

    =====
    I am not jimmyjammy.

    As for the NRO’s satellites, they

    =====
    They?

    had been using its Misty satellites to exploit man-made crevices in the earth’s surface, especially qanats throughout Turkey, Iran, and Pakistan, to cause quakes like the ones in Iran during the first and second Gulf Wars.

    =====
    Way I understand it, HAARP can be broadbeam, give it a few days, BINGO!

    Or it can be more like a surgical laser scalpel.

    BINGO in one thousandth of the ‘time’.

    I can understand the WISH LIST for the latter, but the former is already doing the biz.

    Of course the Chinese and Russians are also on to it.

    That’s another matter.

    It was using them, thanks to Danny Stillman’s hunch that they could achieve such a result, which got former SoD Robert Gates complimenting him thus on the back on the dustcover of The Nuclear Express:

    “(Stillman’s)ability to adapt the latest advances in science to solve unmanageable problems and to analyze foreign techologies made him an invaluable asset to the Intelligence Community.”

    =====
    They are sucking each other’s cock, in other words?

    The drying out, and shaking of the qanats brought about collapses of many Iranian underground facilities – leading them to be used in causing the collapse of the underground facilities that the Chinese had built for their nuclear program
    in Sichuan in May 2008.

    It was my series of articles on the whole proces on cryptome, org. which got the CIA trying to kill me yet again, once that vile Leon Panetta became DCI.

    =====
    DRAT! Fucking CIA assassins, not what they used to be!

    Ultimately, the Iranians and the Chinese learned that they must make their underground facilities as difficult as possible to discover,

    =====
    No shit Sherlock!

    and protect them against any kind of airborne attack – what made the Misty satellities

    ====
    Play Misty for Me

    increasingly incapable of doing, and put the greatest priority by Washington to find out where they are so that bunker busters and the like can take them out.

    =====
    Why not earthques, as postulated above???

    Shake, Rattle ‘n’ Roll Trow!

    Get with it, square-boy!

    That’s where the cryosat-2s and the like come in. They can determine the thickness of not only ice but also water, and soil, leaving what remains as cavites of air.

    =====
    Hot air?

    When used over Iran and China, they can determine what should be hit, and Tehran and Beijing must be busting their butts, trying to prevent new surgical strikes of their most developed underground facilities from being taken out.

    =====
    Big PROBLEMO!!!

    KLINTON was selling us out, the west, the USA taxpayer, mom ‘n’ pop, to the Chinese, fucking DECADES ago.

    You think that policy has CHANGED???

    No sireeee buddy, your time has come ‘n’ gone.

    Little wonder that the Pentagon went ballistic when the ESA talked about these satellities’ capabilities, and had al-Hilli and Mollier murdered when they tried to help them out.

    =====
    So now it’s ESA?

    I personally think that the RAFP did it, but it could be the Mossad.

    =====
    Covering your bases, eh?

    Meir Dagan’s Mossad had to do the necessary killings when it came to important people like Jurgen Möllemann, Stephen Hilder, Dr. David Kelly, and Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh, but now the shoe is on the other feet, with NSA’s Secret Collection Service, and MI6 having to do the dirty work in the hope of preventing Israel from hitting Iran with a first strike.

    =====
    Just RETIRE gracefully, and don’t insult us pop.

    ‘MUST be… (by process of elimination) that SAH was a UK asset, and the UK didn’t know about the hit in advance.’

    That’s what I’ve felt ever since the outset.

    SAH could well be a British asset, and the best explanation is right at the top of this thread in CM’s piece ..

    Maybe something was going down at the UK’s behest, “Saad,old boy, you’ve been busy lately, why don’t you take the family on holiday down to France, but we need something for anothe dodgy dossier, just meet this guy for us, maybe just swap your mountain bike for his, (they don’t tell him it’s loaded with zirconium bars, hell maybe even made out of zircaloy!?) Oh, and don’t worry, you’ll be perfectly safe ..we’ll send along RAFman to cover you .. ”

    But the entity’s SIS pick up on this and think .. hell no, we’re not having this, we’ll take out another Arab scientist,send out another message as Bibi heads to NY, so pow, pow, pow! RAFman thinks “Oh bother. This is not good.” and scarpers.

    If this scenario is in the least bit feasible, we would then have to ask how the entity’s SIS knew, which implies there is a sieve to Tel Aviv at the heart of the Circus.

    If I’m wrong and I’m quite prepared to admit that I apologise to all, especially RAFman.

    Katie, what do you think?

  • CE

    Anders – Gonna do a double tomorrow, today, the 2 mans.

    Quite possibly the only sensible thing you’ve said in this thread.

  • Orpheus

    Okay, following up on the Hafnium thread. Let me set the scene here.

    1) TI = Triggered Isomer Program
    2) Didn’t the US just lose an advanced version of the following to Iran ?
    3) Are they trying to work out how the hell it works ..or
    4) Do they want to build more of them ?

    Please read the below, I will be back online in around 8 hours. Sleep well all

    The research done so far on TI reactor systems shows that it has the potential of being an enabling technology for aerospace propulsion (Hartsfield, 2001). Possible applications for atmospheric flight are numerous, including: highly maneuverable fighter/attack aircraft; long range cargo or passenger flight; long endurance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms; long endurance communication relay platforms; and very long range cruise missiles. Rocket propulsion could also be enhanced resulting in significantly lower launch costs and shorter trip times to other planets.
    Of the possible aircraft missions, the benefits of extended endurance impact heavily on the ISR platforms… Many ISR aircraft fly at high altitudes to avoid surface threats and to allow larger area coverage. Slow flight allows for longer loiter times over the areas of interest. Both of these aspects of ISR platforms lower required thrust to maintain flight and make this mission ripe for TIHE application.
    Due to radiation concerns, the first application of a TIHE powered jet engine will likely be on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. In the case of HALE missions used in the ISR vehicles, this is advantageous since life support requirements become prohibitive very quickly due to mission duration and altitude.
    With the selection of the HALE-UAV mission, it is important to note that such an aircraft has been recently produced and is flying operational missions. The Global Hawk aircraft, built by Northrop-Grumman for the United States Air Force, is the first High Altitude ISR UAV in production. The Global Hawk program started in 1994 as an Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrator and is currently completing its engineering, manufacturing and development phase (Air Combat Command, 2000). It has successfully been tested in action as part of the Department of Defenses Operation Enduring Freedom over Afghanistan.
    Jane’s suggests that a more advanced unmanned vehicle, such as a twin-engine aircraft, will be favored for TI program over the Global Hawk (Jane’s, 2003).

    Straw, the “road cleaner” you talked about earlier seems to have disappeared form the Getty image collection. Could that be?

    Anyway I found some interesting photos from the crime scene, and I’ve posted them on Davidicke, as JorgenNielsen, my intelligently thought out cover name.

    Peter, at 10:50pm:

    Interesting. Which “Arabic leader”, one wonders? Why don’t they say? A Jihadi, or Nasser? ‘Saladin’, or Baybars? Do many people not change their profile pic. constantly? Some months ago, I changed mine on Facebook from a pic. of me wearing a Panama to one with a beret – might this suggest radicalisation? And talking to Pakistanis in chat-rooms. Gosh, how unusual. Some of us do this every day. Some of us even talk to ourselves. But maybe it was a radical site? Or was it just Facebook? And what were the “extreme” views? The Mirror is pursuing this interesting line – via first, the friend, Aked, and now, this – but they leave out too many details. Let’s see where it leads.

    That’s a good link. So many of the photos are credited Phillipe Desmazes, about whom see the speculation above. Is he Phillipe D??

    PS, hope you got a licence to reproduce!

  • Suhayl Saadi

    In other words, is ‘The Mirror’ being fed a line to reflect? Was this alleged radicalisation, or was it simply, ‘Radical Chic and Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers’ – Tom Wolfe (I shall resist making yet another book recommendation!). Al-Hilli was Shia, so was he being allegedly radicalised by Iran-backed Shia Pakistanis? Most terrorist groups in pakistan are Sunni and attack Shias, Christians, other Sunnis, etc. It is unlikely he would be radicalised by Sunni Jihadists, since they hate Shias. So is that the narrative, Peter? That Iran, through Pakistanis, radicalisd him and that somehow, someone (who?) decided to kill him and his family while they were in France? I have a feeling – of course, it can be nothing more than that – that this line of The Mirror’s might not lead anywhere. Let’s see.
