The Al-Hilli Conundrum 6629

My post on the shootings in France has brought tens of thousands of people to this site – but not to read my dull contribution. People are coming to read the comments from other readers.

Today’s development of the bomb squad descending on the al-Hilli house does not in itself worry me enormously. You may recall the massive terror scare that was ramped up when some Muslim students in Manchester were found to own a bag of sugar.

In fact we have the opposite phenomenon today, with the spook-fed “security correspondents” on TV lining up to tell us it is probably just everyday household stuff. This deviation from the standard Islamophobic “Muslims = bombs” narrative is so startling it makes me wonder why the “move along, nothing to see here” line is being taken so quickly.

My own security services sources insist that al-Hilli was not a person of current interest to the UK intelligence agencies and was not involved in anything clandestine. I have no reason to disbelieve them. On the other hand, the limited and confusing information in the media is almost entirely from official sources. I find it very strange indeed how little attention has been paid to the murdered French cyclist, and how easily it is presumed he was just a passerby. Surely it is as likely he was the intended victim and the al-Hillis the accidental witnesses?

Please do read the comments on my first entry on the subject to see the debate unfettered by the censorship in the mainstream media. This is perhaps my favourite comment:

From Janesmith101

All comments regarding Sylvain, Al-Hilli and a possible nuclear link are being removed from sites I’ve posted on in The Guardian, Independent and Huffpo UK.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/sep/09/alps-killer-motive-baffles-police

Here was my comment, I added as a point of fact it was completely speculative and an unproven theory in a later comment, also removed.

Sylvain Mollier, the ‘passing’ cyclist, was in fact a nuclear metallurgist who worked for a french nuclear company called Cezus (a subsidiary of Areva). Cezus fabricates and processes zirconium into metal and nuclear grade zircoaloy for nuclear fuel assemblies – it also has other applications in aerospace such as components and ceramics for missiles and satellites. Mr Al-Hilli was also a skilled aerospace engineer, on what looks to be his first camping holiday.

What is the probability that two highly skilled engineers managed be at the same remote place, at the same time, yet still managed to end up dead as a result of what looks to be a military style assasination?

As someone else pointed out in The Independent comments, the deceased were found by a ‘retired’ RAF officer who, we assume, will recieve perpetual anonymity as a witness. If the police are looking for a motive, try an intercepted rendevous by a security service fixated on denying a hostile power illicit nuclear technology.

http://wrmea.org/component/content/article/162-1995-june/7823-israel-bombs-iraqs-osirak-nuclear-research-facility.html

The Huffington Post UK reports that this wasn’t the family’s first trip to the camp site. An earlier report had asked other camp site visitors whether they had seen the family before and they had replied they hadn’t. If this isn’t wasn’t the first visit by Al-Hilli, it might slightly increase the odds that he knew or had met Mollier before, this being the last in a series of rendevous of a transactional nature. Mollier lived and worked locally.

Again, I’m not sure of the truth of these reports, there is some very sloppy journalism, as there is always seems to be. I’ve read for example Mollier’s company Cevus descirbed as a steel firm something which it is patently not, but perhaps it may have been a detail lost in translation.

An interesting comment summing up some of the strange coincidences, at least, surrounding these murders. My other favourite comment calls me a “macchiavellian shill”.

I have only one thought of my own I want to add at the minute. Al-Hilli was a Shia muslim and had been on pilgrimage to Qoms in Iran. What if it is indeed true that he was in possession of no especial nuclear or defence secrets to pass on to the Iranians, but the Israelis thought that he was? The Israeli programme of assassination of scientists involved in Iran’s nuclear programme is a definite fact. It makes as much sense as anything else at the moment, as a possibility.

I am not saying that is what happened. But the directions in which the mainstream media is being so strenuously pointed by official sources, like the massacre of an entire family over an inheritance, are certainly no more inherently probable. Certainly as we are now told all the shots were from one gun, for the assassin to get each victim in the head with none of them being able to escape, indicates real proficiency with the weapon and a very high level of training.

    Yes just a 2 minute clip

    Just a few sort days after 911

    And the 7 countries fit to be attacked by the USA and gofers

    Maybe al-hilli used this satellite to bring down his own and not the planned one maybe israelie as the star gazer said they where the only ones there, maybe that’s why he was killed take your pick who did it! I think the thing he hid in the house was planned for them to find that why he told the neighbour! It sounds mad but just thought I’d type it out!

  • Ferret

    F-ing unbelievable…

    BTW, wtf happened tonight?

    Looks like we got a few new/recycled sayanim? With some new tactics?

  • Q.

    Whatever comes out of the AKERS/AKED/ATK debate, here’s some interesting information.

    1. Orders for ammunition are doing a booming business:
    http://atk.mediaroom.com/2012-09-13-ATK-Delivers-2-Billion-7.62mm-Rounds-to-the-U.S.-Army-from-the-Lake-City-Army-Ammunition-Plant-LCAAP

    2. Heat shields are part of rocket launches (zirconium?):
    http://atk.mediaroom.com/2012-08-30-ATK-Technologies-Support-United-Launch-Alliance-Atlas-V-Launch

    3. There is such a thing as precision-guided small arms. I don’t know if this is what ATK refers to when it talks about “smart weapons”. From wiki entry on Precision-guided munition:

    “Guided small arms

    Precision-guided small arms prototypes have been developed which use a laser designator to guide an electronically actuated bullet to a target.[17] Another system in development uses a laser range finder to trigger an explosive small arms shell in proximity to a target. The U.S. Army plans to use such devices in the future.”

    So it seems it’s not always necessary to have a clear view of a target in order to hit it.

    Welcome back Dopey! 🙂

    As for what happened,I’m afraid much of my good work, hours of work, got deleted.

  • dopey

    Hey Anders thank you 🙂

    I tried, but the pull was too much – I just couldn;t keep away from you 😉

  • Ferret

    @Dopey

    Quite right – I’d forgotten!

    You should get all the credit for this one.

    🙂

    My memory’s not what it used to be, you know!!!

    A couple of things are new now though – the satellite angle has been developed by eg Trowbridge, and there’s been a satellite downed I strongly suspect (aka “metorite”).

  • anders7777

    Yes, all at the behest of Israel.

    =====
    Yes Kathy, and all being played out all over again as we watch.

    It is Fabian.

    They are like a glacier.

    God help the poor folks in that region. 🙁

  • kathy

    It’s weird that there are’nt even any snippets of information about how the two little girls are progressing.

  • Q.

    Clarity needed here. Are Peter and Ferret both pointing to the same theme of war profiteering behind the Chevaline affair/Chevaline scandal 2? I do need it spelled out for me, kind sirs.

  • kathy

    Anders7777

    “God help the poor folks in that region”

    Yeah and after throwing those colonialist looters out already and struggling to progress and now it’s back to square one. Very tragic.

  • dopey

    Anyway, that Linkedin profile doesn’t seem to leave any doubt as to who Aked does work for.

    Shame there’s nothing (yet) to link Sylvain with ATK …or yet. I’ve tried and failed to find anything.

  • Ferret

    @Anders

    Sorry to hear all your hard work was undone…

    🙁

    @Q

    What I’m saying is that

    (a) Gary Aked works for ATK which is a serious player in the munitions and space sector. He could, in my opinion, be being used as a mouthpiece of the powers-that-be to spout rubbish about SAH.

    (b) SAH may have worked for ATK on their satellite projects via Gary Aked, which

    (c) may have given him inside knowledge that ultimately got him killed.

    Just a possibility.

    Make sense?

  • Ferret

    @Dopey

    Yes, the LinkedIn profile is pretty clear it’s ATK, isn’t it?

    I don’t know where Peter’s getting his gen from as he’s not sharing.

    Odd that he’s so sure he’s right, but without any apparent evidence?

    And his exchange with Katie earlier, to supposedly establish Aked’s employer as WS Atkins seemed staged to me.

  • anders7777

    Tragic yes, but the script IMO, from my extensive research, was written a long long time ago.

    However, Israel may not have all the aces, Russia and China may play a couple of Jokers, we will see.

    At this point bearing in mind we are almost at the 2012 Dec 21 nexus, anything might happen.

    I am still waiting for the “defining moment for London” – and the US change of puppets charade, and something rather BIG to happen.

  • dopey

    And now I’m going to bed but, before I do, a question for the serious cyclists.

    Would you wear a helmet all the time, even in sweltering weather? Which leads me to …was Sylvain wearing one that day? I found an article about a cyclist shot in the head. The bullet penetrated the helmet to the inner lining only, and the helmet apparently saved his life. (It didn;t say how far away the shooter was however, just that the shooter was in a car.). It got me thinking..

  • anders7777

    @Anders

    Sorry to hear all your hard work was undone…

    =====
    The problem is, if you are not following in REALTIME (as I’ve explained a few times) the exchanges can seem mad. They are NOT!

    We got hit tonight by multiple new aliases, stirring the shit, probably james, busted, under a new guise or three, others too. It was like a DDOD attack, distributed denial of service attack. All the sensitive subjects triggering reflex auto-responses set up this WAVE of attacks, and sliding and all the rest went on.

    The poor old mod comes along and it is WW3.

    It is really too bad all was deleted as I outed all of them, every single one, with their elementary mistakes.

    Job done from their POV.

  • Ferret

    @Dopey

    Shame there’s nothing (yet) to link Sylvain with ATK …or yet. I’ve tried and failed to find anything.

    Good call… shame nothing turned up. He really is shadowy, isn’t he?

    Good night – and thanks for the contributions.

    PS. You see – wearing a helmet really can save your life!

  • Q.

    @Ferret:

    Thank you for the clarification. Yes, the satellite connection cannot be ignored as one of the possibilities. I am still trying to sort out whether the source of SAH’s undoing could have been an industrial espionage situation, etc. Among other things!

    @Peter:

    I don’t know if this is your angle, but it is not unheard of for engineering companies to get involved in the politics of foreign countries (allegedly) when major contracts are at stake. There is one case right now, involving a company on the same scale as the one you mentioned, with plenty of intrigue, including the alleged attempted extrication of a soccer-playing son of a deceased deposed dictator, Mexico, and an executive arrested in Switzerland. The company also has links to the nuclear business. Search and find.

  • Ferret

    Job done from their POV.

    That’s a shame.

    And yeah, something spooked them alright.

    I think it was ATK but who knows.

    We have had an easy time of it the prev 24hrs.

    Maybe they regrouped and thought up some new tactics?

    Shame I wasn’t online realtime to witness it all and watch you out them all!

    🙂

    Yep! It’s crossed my mind that Aked spoke out to try to introduce another angle ie political/chat room activity got Saad killed, because he’s up to his neck in it himself and panicking, or he was told to do it.

  • Blue_Bear

    Anders/Ferret/and now Katie who seems to be buying the possibility of extraction,

    What makes you think that the first-response coppers at the scene would be able to keep quiet about the lack of bodies? Is it realistic that they would keep schtum? Do we know for a fact who was first on the scene or is it a report of a report?

    I’d like Kempe to answer my question about the satellites. If I was looking for a lead-lined bunker in the desert then the position of any lead-lined object would be worth knowing wouldn’t it..?
