The Al-Hilli Conundrum 6629

My post on the shootings in France has brought tens of thousands of people to this site – but not to read my dull contribution. People are coming to read the comments from other readers.

Today’s development of the bomb squad descending on the al-Hilli house does not in itself worry me enormously. You may recall the massive terror scare that was ramped up when some Muslim students in Manchester were found to own a bag of sugar.

In fact we have the opposite phenomenon today, with the spook-fed “security correspondents” on TV lining up to tell us it is probably just everyday household stuff. This deviation from the standard Islamophobic “Muslims = bombs” narrative is so startling it makes me wonder why the “move along, nothing to see here” line is being taken so quickly.

My own security services sources insist that al-Hilli was not a person of current interest to the UK intelligence agencies and was not involved in anything clandestine. I have no reason to disbelieve them. On the other hand, the limited and confusing information in the media is almost entirely from official sources. I find it very strange indeed how little attention has been paid to the murdered French cyclist, and how easily it is presumed he was just a passerby. Surely it is as likely he was the intended victim and the al-Hillis the accidental witnesses?

Please do read the comments on my first entry on the subject to see the debate unfettered by the censorship in the mainstream media. This is perhaps my favourite comment:

From Janesmith101

All comments regarding Sylvain, Al-Hilli and a possible nuclear link are being removed from sites I’ve posted on in The Guardian, Independent and Huffpo UK.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/sep/09/alps-killer-motive-baffles-police

Here was my comment, I added as a point of fact it was completely speculative and an unproven theory in a later comment, also removed.

Sylvain Mollier, the ‘passing’ cyclist, was in fact a nuclear metallurgist who worked for a french nuclear company called Cezus (a subsidiary of Areva). Cezus fabricates and processes zirconium into metal and nuclear grade zircoaloy for nuclear fuel assemblies – it also has other applications in aerospace such as components and ceramics for missiles and satellites. Mr Al-Hilli was also a skilled aerospace engineer, on what looks to be his first camping holiday.

What is the probability that two highly skilled engineers managed be at the same remote place, at the same time, yet still managed to end up dead as a result of what looks to be a military style assasination?

As someone else pointed out in The Independent comments, the deceased were found by a ‘retired’ RAF officer who, we assume, will recieve perpetual anonymity as a witness. If the police are looking for a motive, try an intercepted rendevous by a security service fixated on denying a hostile power illicit nuclear technology.

http://wrmea.org/component/content/article/162-1995-june/7823-israel-bombs-iraqs-osirak-nuclear-research-facility.html

The Huffington Post UK reports that this wasn’t the family’s first trip to the camp site. An earlier report had asked other camp site visitors whether they had seen the family before and they had replied they hadn’t. If this isn’t wasn’t the first visit by Al-Hilli, it might slightly increase the odds that he knew or had met Mollier before, this being the last in a series of rendevous of a transactional nature. Mollier lived and worked locally.

Again, I’m not sure of the truth of these reports, there is some very sloppy journalism, as there is always seems to be. I’ve read for example Mollier’s company Cevus descirbed as a steel firm something which it is patently not, but perhaps it may have been a detail lost in translation.

An interesting comment summing up some of the strange coincidences, at least, surrounding these murders. My other favourite comment calls me a “macchiavellian shill”.

I have only one thought of my own I want to add at the minute. Al-Hilli was a Shia muslim and had been on pilgrimage to Qoms in Iran. What if it is indeed true that he was in possession of no especial nuclear or defence secrets to pass on to the Iranians, but the Israelis thought that he was? The Israeli programme of assassination of scientists involved in Iran’s nuclear programme is a definite fact. It makes as much sense as anything else at the moment, as a possibility.

I am not saying that is what happened. But the directions in which the mainstream media is being so strenuously pointed by official sources, like the massacre of an entire family over an inheritance, are certainly no more inherently probable. Certainly as we are now told all the shots were from one gun, for the assassin to get each victim in the head with none of them being able to escape, indicates real proficiency with the weapon and a very high level of training.

    Titter.

And you can get into Chambery with a decent “midsize”.

    So why Geneva ?????

    Because the story is rubbish.

And this is the worry with these type of stories “floating” about.

As I say Geneva, yes, with onwards to PAris or where ever.

But the James Bond crap yhat I read on here !!! Madness !

  • James

    Ah “Strawberry” !

    The Anders crew is back.

    Well a “brief update”.

You “conspiracy” dudes have been “well and truly” found out.

Awaiting the “next batch” of crap.

I did say…”people here can read”.

    And they can fella.

    So…carry on the “insults”.

  • James

    Dopey.

28 GBP is pretty rubbish for what he does.

And that’s what the rags have said ?

It has to be more, surely.
And 04 BMW with the children, I read not in “private” ed.

A normal guy ? Or a skint chap wanting cash ?

  • James

“I hope James gets paid by the word and not relating to his intelligence”

Actually monthly mate. On a four year contract

And I only work “duty days” (yippeeee)

…and I get Per Diem’s for duty days I spend away.

    Pathetic insult mate.

I can not (will not) guess your job.
But are photocopiers really that hard to mend ?

  • dopey

    @ James.

It IS a rubbish amount. If he had cash, he wasn’t the sort to splash it about lets just say.

Maybe he kept the BMW for the family/caravaning and had another car? Or maybe he didn;t believe in throwing money away on new cars every couple of years. Maybe he didn;t want to draw attention to himself by throwing money about either…who knows.

The wife was supposedly planning to return to dentistry, so maybe they were feeling the pinch. Contractor work can be very lucrative though, so money shouldn’t have been tight for them.

I woder how long the brother lived with them. I wonder how well the brother got on with Saad’s wife 😉

  • James

    Dopey, this is true.

But I doubt he was on 28 GBP per hour.

The accounts looked “small” I seem to remember (for his Co).
    And that’s the thing.

Wasn’t it quoted it was about 8K he’d declared ?

Correct me please if I am so wrong.

But working of that…was he then looking for “other” work ?

Then …. all sorts of things could be thrown in the ring.

But to kill him ! And the family ?

    Industrial Espionage….and kill him !!!! Nah ! Can’t be.
Family money…and kill him !!!! Could be. Could it ?
Political Espionage…and kill him !!! Well, yes.
Drugs ???? I just can not see that.
Was he the target ???? Maybe not.

So that leaves “political” or “not the target”.

    Agree or disagree ?

  • James

    Watcher !

    LOL.

What’s wrong with the shed. Looks “cosy” !

Get an Estate Agent on here…and it’ll sound a dream !

  • bluebird

AMS 1087 was his company. However, check for instance

    http://www.cdrex.com/companies/advanced_search.html

Enter “ams 1093” into the search function. It appears that there are hundreds of defunct or valid ams companies at this address. We would call such companies so called letter box companies, usually not doing anything at all or hiding their real agenda behind the letter box address.

Search google for ams 1086 ltd, or for ams 1083 ltd and you should find them as companies, some of those already defunct and closed.

This is a letterbox building for letterbox companies, isnt it?

  • dopey

The accounts do look small, so he wasn’t filtering money through that you’re right.

A headhunter (recruitment headhunter) I know’s company accounts only show about £30k a year. He can make that in a month…so there’s ways and means of burying income. Saad’s accountant is a very canny one methinks?

  • dopey

    @ bluebird

Yes, he probably bought that company off the shelf and kept the original name of it I reckon?

  • Sinbad

We have here before us a puzzle. We have some facts ie, the time of the call to the emergency services. However many of the other “facts” appear contradictory, ie who actually made this call to the emergency services.

We therefore need to treat this like a jigsaw puzzle and first establish the corners. Once you have the corners we can get the edges and so on.

I am not a good internet sleuth due largely to incompetence but would suggest the following as one of the ‘corners’.

As AH had been waiting in this particular layby/parking area for approx an hour, he or someone in his vehicle was obviously waiting for someone.

Lets look at the Mother in Law.

    Was she from Iraq?

    Why was she in Sweden?

    Where is her husband?

If she IS the mother of Mrs AH then how is Mrs AH married to Mr AH. We would expect Mrs AH to have accompanied her mother to Sweden. So how did Mrs AH and Mr AH meet?

Why was Mother in Law present in the car? Mrs AH is 47. Her mother will be possibly early 70’s. So where was she staying? Was she in the tent? In the caravan? Elsewhere?

Did she drive out from England with the AH family or did she arrive in France by alternative transport?

Several passports were found in the car and it is assumed that the Swedish passport is hers. As all the family appear to be Iraqi can someone confirm that they would need a visa to travel to Iran (which has been speculated) So did she have an Iranian visa? Did any of the other passport holders have Iranian visas or applications for them.

We need facts, not speculation. Facts will establish the corners to this puzzle. So get on with it and establish Mother in Laws background and connections and her reason to sit happily in the back of a car for an hour waiting…..when a short couple of minutes up the road is a nice parking place with views where she could walk with her grandchildren who she would seldom see.

Yes we have RAF bar steward, and a wheeled out PD! 🙂

Both saving their arses, both nonchalant about:

    1. A beaten up girl, shoulder shot, eye socket and scalp lacerations – RAFman(tm) swears it! 😉

    2. Not forgetting wheeled out PD, WHO DISSEMBLES THUSLY:

Not a sign of life, no blood, no scalp lacerations, no fractured cranium, no burst eye socket, no detached retina, no gunshot wounds at all… 🙂

El Frog sez he saw nuffink, innit! 🙂

    You couldn’t MAKE it up, lmao! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    BUT

I’m sure Herr “Peter” – avec parfait Anglais 🙂 can wibble some more extraordinary nonsense. He has his tea lady career at stake, after all!!! 🙂

  • James

Not if the IR get the accountant he’s not.
…and although not on PAYE, the Co will “book” thier side.
    His “employer” would pay “cash”.

“we paid X this” …and they’ll look it up on his side.
If he’s booking less, then there IS “el problemo”.

BUT, saying that, if he isn’t paid by a U.K. Co….
Then you can “book” your U.K. earnings.

So…he’s not getting alot. Is he working alot ?
Would a “contractor” take 3 weeks off ????

I have known a few as friends…and they never refuse money.

    So….? Is he freelance ?

  • Haden

I really can’t believe how little time has been given on this thread to the industrial espionage angle. Huge merger (BAE/EADS) creating for the first time a real competitor to Boeing (I’m sure they’re not too happy, even though they’ve been playing it down in the media), Al-Hilli being an expert in probably the most competitive and lucrative sector of defence/aerospace (satellite technology/possible drone skills transference), both he and Mollier being under the employment of EADS subsidiaries, RAFman currently, according to the info that’s been posted, employed by Boeing. BAE have a pretty murky history (Al-Yamamah deal/Mark Thatcher) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Yamamah_arms_deal, EADS have been worried about espionage in their ranks for a while http://mobile.reuters.com/article/article/idUSLDE7270S220110308?irpc=932 and I wouldn’t put much past Boeing. Plus if it was industrial, it might explain the slightly less clinical nature of the hit, having used mercs or local crims. It seems to be more likely than a government hit IMO.

    @dopey

Btw yesterday you cracked me up when you innocently asked “James” if his trusty Volvo bucket was “brown” 🙂

I was waiting for his reaction, zoomed like an Exocet completely over his noggin!!! 🙂

  • James

    Yes….on Swiss plates.

Mucker, dont over “fool” yourself !!!!

Although (and funny only to me) it’s the same model !
