Hillary Clinton is repeating the methodology of the Iran/Contra affair, using “black” funds to finance the operation to ensure President Correa is not re-elected.

I had two excellent sources for the news that the US/UK strategy against Julian Assange was to ensure the defeat of President Correa in Presidential elections next spring, and then have him expelled from the Ecuadorean Embassy. One source was within the UK civil service and one in Washington. Both had direct, personal access to the information I described. Both told me in the knowledge I would publish it.

Of course Assange is not the only reason Clinton wants rid of Correa; but it adds spice and urgency.

We now have completely independent evidence from Chile that this CIA operation exists, from journalists who were investigating a smuggling operation involving 300 kg per month of cocaine, organised by the Chilean army and security services.

The links to US intelligence emerged after an anonymous source from the Agencia Nacional de Inteligencia (ANI) told Panoramas News that the smuggling of 300 kilos of cocaine was in fact a highly sensitive CIA/DEA operation that would help to raise money to topple the government of Ecuador. The operation is similar to the one carried out by the Agency in Central America during the Iran-Contra scandal in the 1980’s, the source said.

A few days ago I published information I had received that Patricio Mery Bell, the director of the news programme which broke the story, had been lured to a meeting with a young lady “informant” who had worked with CIA-backed anti-Cuban groups in Miami. She had then accused him of sexual assault (does any of that scenario sound familiar?) He was arrested and his materials had been confiscated. However I took the article down after jst a few minutes because I had received the information in emails from sources I did not know previously, and was unsure it could stand up. It does now appear that this is indeed true.

My Washigton informant had told me, as I published, that the funds for the anti-Correa operation were not from the CIA budget but from secret funds controlled by the Pentagon. This could not be done by CIA funds because, perhaps surprisingly, for the CIA to operate in this way is a crime in the United States.

Whether my informant knew or suspected that the “secret Pentagon funds” were drug money I do not know. They did not mention narcotics.

    Pillar of Cloud is the name of the operation. It is what the Zionazis are calling it in Hebrew to their own supporters and soldiers.

    Pillar of Defence (Pilier de défense) is what they have ordered the English-speaking and French-speaking media to call it – just as they have ordered their Quislings to talk about the Zionazi regime’s ‘right to defend itself’, as usual. Presumably they have issued similar orders for what it should be called in German, Spanish, etc.

    They appear to have missed Russian, in which language they are calling it a ‘Pillar of Cloud’ (Облачный столп). Oops – maybe they will ‘correct’ this?

    The pillar that goes with the Pillar of Cloud is the Pillar of Fire. Are they soon going to show us a Pillar of Fire?

    This is the UMPTEENTH time that a truce, deal, step towards a ‘settlement’, etc., was about to be signed, and then the Zionazis have moved in for a bout of assassinations or a massacre.

    65 years of history shows that there cannot be peace until Zionism is brought to an end and Palestine is one country, from the river to the sea.

    Expressing abhorrence at the slaughter in Gaza is not enough. We need a stepping up of Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS):

    1) an increasing number of countries breaking off all relations with the Zionazi regime, moving towards a position where they break off all relations with any country that maintains such relations

    Perhaps the Non-Aligned Movement and the ALBA countries in Latin America could show the way forward in this respect?

    That means no Israeli-owned companies allowed to operate, Israeli embassies and other missions closed down, Israeli nationals to be expelled unless they renounce Israeli citizenship, undertake not to support the Zionazi regime, and claim asylum; and after they have been expelled, no flights to Israel. De jure derecognition of the State of Israel.

    Bye-bye to the Israeli facilities at Schiphol and Heathrow.

    2) the exposure and removal from office and positions of influence of all who have acted as agents of the Zionazis in other countries

    These are the demands that should be made of the governments of the world.

    Clark, only 90 had voted at my polling station and I was the only one from my road. I voted for an Independent candidate because I do not believe the Police should have political affiliations likely to sway policing decisions according to their politics. We’re not America – well not yet – or Sweden – where the judges are chosen from political parties.

Truly horrific: lad in keffiye at night, with line of polis at a safe distance, waving a baton (or possibly a short light sabre) at someone out of, er, shot. Then, googling Gaza+Rally (etc), I find only daylight shots of a peaceful demonstration in London. There is no mention in the MSM of violence that I can find, unless you count the THOUSANDS OF ROCKETS POURING DOWN on poor little defenceless Israel.

    Saw a comment on FB that Harry was ok and had recently spoken to friends. Says he is fine but very tired but hopes to be able to get back online.

    He moved from his previous location last night to a hotel which he was apparently told was one of only three buildings in Gaza City on an Israeli NON-target list.

    Interestingly his Internet was cut at the first location last night just as he was passing on a message from Palestinian authorities for people not to answer phone calls from a number they did not recognise as it was Israeli position targetting.

    He later had a stable internet connection at the new “safe” location” and again was cut off when he broadcast again the warning about Israeli phone calls. Perhaps coincidence, perhaps not.

    Yes, I noticed that and wondered if it was deliberate Israeli action. But I’m not sure that the advice is really helpful, because cellphones periodically communicate with the base stations whether a call is in progress or not. I suppose Israel could be locating cellphone signals directly rather than getting location data from the companies. Even so, I’d expect that just making the ‘phone ring would be enough to locate the ‘phone’s position.

    More on BBC news at One of the poor Israeli’s suffering from the rocket, whilst an empty Gaza administration suited the BBC to show a few pictures. Thousands of Israeli reservists, many of them doubting their Governments call up, are moving to wards the Gazan border in anticipation of a ground offensive.
