CIA Plot Against Correa Funded by Drug Money 1271

Hillary Clinton is repeating the methodology of the Iran/Contra affair, using “black” funds to finance the operation to ensure President Correa is not re-elected.

I had two excellent sources for the news that the US/UK strategy against Julian Assange was to ensure the defeat of President Correa in Presidential elections next spring, and then have him expelled from the Ecuadorean Embassy. One source was within the UK civil service and one in Washington. Both had direct, personal access to the information I described. Both told me in the knowledge I would publish it.

Of course Assange is not the only reason Clinton wants rid of Correa; but it adds spice and urgency.

We now have completely independent evidence from Chile that this CIA operation exists, from journalists who were investigating a smuggling operation involving 300 kg per month of cocaine, organised by the Chilean army and security services.

The links to US intelligence emerged after an anonymous source from the Agencia Nacional de Inteligencia (ANI) told Panoramas News that the smuggling of 300 kilos of cocaine was in fact a highly sensitive CIA/DEA operation that would help to raise money to topple the government of Ecuador. The operation is similar to the one carried out by the Agency in Central America during the Iran-Contra scandal in the 1980’s, the source said.

A few days ago I published information I had received that Patricio Mery Bell, the director of the news programme which broke the story, had been lured to a meeting with a young lady “informant” who had worked with CIA-backed anti-Cuban groups in Miami. She had then accused him of sexual assault (does any of that scenario sound familiar?) He was arrested and his materials had been confiscated. However I took the article down after jst a few minutes because I had received the information in emails from sources I did not know previously, and was unsure it could stand up. It does now appear that this is indeed true.

My Washigton informant had told me, as I published, that the funds for the anti-Correa operation were not from the CIA budget but from secret funds controlled by the Pentagon. This could not be done by CIA funds because, perhaps surprisingly, for the CIA to operate in this way is a crime in the United States.

Whether my informant knew or suspected that the “secret Pentagon funds” were drug money I do not know. They did not mention narcotics.

Ben, no, I don’t think you misunderstood. I probably just got confused with some other proposal I read somewhere or other. I think there have been quite a few over the years.

“During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times.”

I was probably thinking of this one:

‘As the British Mandate for Palestine was expiring, the 1947 UN Partition Plan recommended “the creation of a special international regime in the City of Jerusalem, constituting it as a corpus separatum under the administration of the UN.”‘

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpus_separatum_(Jerusalem)

Considering the historical importance of the place, and that the various self-declared followers of God seem unable to reach agreement, I think they should all subjugate themselves to some higher principle; I’m sure The Almighty can enforce His own admissions policy if He really feels like it.

press tv may not be available too much longer!

AsiaSat takes Iranian channels off air in East Asia
The Hong Kong-based Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (AsiaSat) has taken all Iranian channels off air in East Asia.
The satellite provider says the decision to stop providing services to all Iranian channels is in line with a US law recently signed by President Barack Obama…
Nearly 37 percent of AsiaSat’s shares are owned by the General Electric which itself is owned by an American company…

There is much more depth and background in this Guardian piece. The authors have been given the space.

Tony Blair and the protesters who keep trying to arrest him for war crimes

From book signings and lectures to the Leveson inquiry, Tony Blair is pursued by protesters everywhere – some have even tried to arrest him. Who are these people, and what drives them?

The head quarter and computer system of the Kadima party has been attacked tonight and taken down, as of yet I do not know whether they’ll be able to cope with it.

Another good reason for the overblown propaganda system to scream blue murder into all wind directions.

well done anonymous if it was you, what will it be next?
    the sewage system?

Mary, thank you for your account. I’m glad that the Independent quoted you; we shouldn’t have seen Blair’s face for years because he should be in prison.

The BBC just showed injured Palestinians and the damage caused by Israeli airstrikes! I’m all a-quiver.
Does this count as progress? It’s nothing like the truth, but direction of travel etc. Execrate me as a backsliding wimp if you wish.
The BBC just showed an injured Palestinian child. 330 died in Cast Lead and all we got was silence.

thanks for the moving report Mary, wish I could get to London for tomorrows demo, have a builders knee, age creeps up a bit.

Re Tony B., yes grief is human and strips us all to the bone, but why should his grief move us more than the grief of innocent civilians that die every day due to his direct involvement?

Is it that white powder talk again I wonder, she was/is? rather fond of it, just as Osborne. The PM seems to have some Bullington form, but he is grown up now.

@Mary – excellent info on Jonathan Sacerdoti, the ‘BBC’s go-to man on Gaza’.

Quote from Hilary Aked: “As Israel’s ‘Operation Pillar of Defense’ was beginning on 14-15 November a man called Jonathan Sacerdoti appeared four times as a guest on different BBC television news programmes, asked to comment on Israel’s actions in Gaza (…) Each time he appeared, the news anchor introduced him with some variant of ‘we can get more on this now and speak to Jonathan Sacerdoti of the Institute for Middle Eastern Democracy’ (…) But Sacerdoti is exactly the opposite of a disinterested ‘expert’ voice on the ongoing violence. Just two years ago he was Director of Public Affairs for the Zionist Federation

There follows a long description of what he’s done while admitting his real allegiance rather than wearing the mask of disinterestedness that the BBC pretend to believe is real.

Zionist propagandists are being allowed to prosecute their vile murderous war effort on British government TV, without any opposition.

OK…so what I want to know is…is there a connection between recently engineered scandals that have led to changes in command structures at BBC News, and the current stage of the Zionist war effort?

Do we maybe have another version of the moves to ‘sort out’ Parliament, founded on the engineered scandal of ‘MPs expenses’ around the time of the previous Gaza massacre?

  • Habbabkuk

re. Jonathan Sacerdoti : I really think that there should be a law banning news organisations from employing Jewish or Muslim reporters or commenters on anything to do with the Middle East. Christians (or atheists) only, please!

@ Kempe on the Israel barcodes – don’t try and spread disinformation! IF YOU WANT TO BOYCOTT ISRAELI GOODS, AVOID THE 729 PREFIX.

    @ Mary 9.55pm

Very touching account of your past family and your journey today.

    Thank you.

Your next point is so right also.

Even the worst warriors soften when death and loss affects them personallly. It’s no longer an abstract theory then.

Yet such a tragedy we have to endure their madness and horror before they undertand the stakes and vicissitudes of the human condition.

    Regards and peace to you,Mary.

  • Dreoilin

    What is Kempe up to?

Tried to argue that “David Rose” was just telling the truth about Steven Messham, and that Bob Woffinden has a history of ‘exposing miscarriages of justice’.

Argued with Mark about Polonium 210.

Is now arguing about Israel barcodes.

    Curiouser and curiouser

Habbabkuk, 17 Nov, 1:16 am, please don’t have a go at Kempe, whose information is useful. From Kempe’s comment, it would seem that boycotting 729 barcode prefixes could hurt Israeli interests even more than boycotting “produce of Israel” markings. The wording on the gs1il.org site is typically vague corporate waffle, but if my current interpretation is correct, products carrying that prefix are traded by companies operating through Tel Aviv, whether the goods are actually produced in Israel or not. My impression of the corporate system is that actual production of goods usually raises the smallest part of the overall profit, with most going to the higher levels of trading.

Kempe, I’d appreciate further information. What do you think are the most effective ways of withholding our money from Israeli commerce?

  • clark

Jonathan Sacerdoti seems to be a liar and a nasty piece of work. Here he “discusses” Israeli “settlements”:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=TeAucbPykKU

I suspect that he is this PR consultant, too, judging by some of their projects:

    http://www.sacerdoti.com/

Hmmm, the link from Mary’s newleftproject.org page to his Linkedin profile claims that the profile doesn’t exist; maybe he deleted it. However, I managed to retrieve the teaser page from a cache, and uploaded it to my web-space. Yes, he is that PR consultant:

    http://www.killick1.plus.com/sacerdoti/sacerdoti-1.html

  • Kempe

“So what impact would boycotting 729 prefixed goods have? Would it be mostly be Israeli companies that would apply for classification through GS1il,… ?”

Possibly but the products themselves could come from anywhere. Conversely of course there’s nothing to say that Israeli made products won’t have a barcode which originated in another country.

The key word in your post Dreolin is truth. Suggest you get a copy of the latest Private Eye for more information about Messham.

  • Mary

More on Jonathan Sacerdoti from the PSC.

    Hi

I’ve just written to the BBC about Jonathan Sacerdoti, who was on BBC News 24 four times on 14th and 15th Nov.

If you see or hear him being interviewed, please send in a complaint.

These are the details (contained in my complaint):

BBC News 24 has been presenting Jonathan Sacerdoti as an independent spokesperson for a think tank. Is the BBC aware that Sacerdoti previously worked as Director of Public Affairs at the Zionist Federation, he was elected to the International Division of the Board of Deputies of British Jews in 2012 – the international division primarily works to promote Israel, and he defended Israel’s killing of ten people on the Gaza flotilla in 2010? This is hardly an independent spokesperson. Nor does the Middle Eastern think tank have much credibilty – it has produced a total of 8 publications all of which are poor quality and have not made the mainstream media – it was founded by Sacerdoti with Sam Westrop who also founded the British Israel Coalition and worked for a time at the Jewish National Fund – its ‘Associate Director’ Hasan Afzal also founded – with Westrop – an organisation called British Muslims for Israel – it does not reveal where any of its funding comes from Please could you make BBC news editors aware of this information, and treat this as a formal complaint at using him as an ‘independent’ expert.

    Thank you very much

    Best wishes

I just heard Jon Donnison reporting from Gaza that one hundred and fifty air attacks by Israel had taken place throughout the night. What terror to inflict on captive people. Nowhere to run to. No shelters. The little ones must be terrified. It must stop on all sides. Mr Ban is not going to the area until next week but he is after all a stooge for the USUKIsNATO axis of evil.

Leibovich is claiming 200 targets have been ‘struck’.

    Boycott Israel Campaign 2012

    Last Updated 4th June 2012

The boycott of Israeli products and companies supporting Israel is a peaceful means of putting international pressure on apartheid Israel and follows in the footsteps of the successful boycott against South African apartheid. Help end Palestinian suffering by boycotting Israel today!

Thanks for your post, Clark; perhaps I was mistaken in my suspicion that Kempe was trying to cloud the issue….
Anyway, whatever the fine ins -and -outs, I think I shall continue to carefully avoid any barcode starting with 729 – better safe than sorry, n’est-ce pas?

@Clark @Kempe – Personally one company I have been boycotting since the first Gaza massacre is Marks and Spencer. One of the company’s main corporate aims for several decades has been to support Israel. For example, they popularised the avocado in Britain to that purpose.

(Interestingly, the owner of the company that handles the ‘security’ for Marks and Spencer is involved with the Jimmy Savile charities. Another very interesting thing is how the company in the last few years has set up outlets across the British transport system. It doesn’t take a huge amount of knowledge of ‘sayanim’ to realise how that sort of presence could come in useful. Talk about a ‘terrorist infrastructure’!)

I also boycott British Gas and Starbucks because of the Israeli connections.

And when buying fruit from market stalls, I always ask where they’re from, and buy something else, or nothing at all, if they’re from Israel.

Of course this only takes us so far. Someone might reasonably ask, what about Google, Microsoft, and Intel? And then we have BHS, Dixons/PC-World/Currys, most of the clothing chains, the big supermarkets etc. etc. etc. The octopus exerts an ever-tightening grip. I’m sure I buy loads of stuff that helps Israel 🙁

You could also ask why I occasionally bought underwear in Marks and Spencer before the Gaza massacre. But I’ve associated the company in my mind with burnt babies, and now I just can’t.

John – I bet you couldn’t tell the difference between Jacob’s and own-brand cream crackers, which cost half the price, in a blindfold test 🙂 (But probably some of the price for own-brand ones goes to Zionists anyway? Indeed maybe they are all made in the same factory?)
