Hillary Clinton is repeating the methodology of the Iran/Contra affair, using “black” funds to finance the operation to ensure President Correa is not re-elected.
I had two excellent sources for the news that the US/UK strategy against Julian Assange was to ensure the defeat of President Correa in Presidential elections next spring, and then have him expelled from the Ecuadorean Embassy. One source was within the UK civil service and one in Washington. Both had direct, personal access to the information I described. Both told me in the knowledge I would publish it.
Of course Assange is not the only reason Clinton wants rid of Correa; but it adds spice and urgency.
We now have completely independent evidence from Chile that this CIA operation exists, from journalists who were investigating a smuggling operation involving 300 kg per month of cocaine, organised by the Chilean army and security services.
The links to US intelligence emerged after an anonymous source from the Agencia Nacional de Inteligencia (ANI) told Panoramas News that the smuggling of 300 kilos of cocaine was in fact a highly sensitive CIA/DEA operation that would help to raise money to topple the government of Ecuador. The operation is similar to the one carried out by the Agency in Central America during the Iran-Contra scandal in the 1980’s, the source said.
A few days ago I published information I had received that Patricio Mery Bell, the director of the news programme which broke the story, had been lured to a meeting with a young lady “informant” who had worked with CIA-backed anti-Cuban groups in Miami. She had then accused him of sexual assault (does any of that scenario sound familiar?) He was arrested and his materials had been confiscated. However I took the article down after jst a few minutes because I had received the information in emails from sources I did not know previously, and was unsure it could stand up. It does now appear that this is indeed true.
My Washigton informant had told me, as I published, that the funds for the anti-Correa operation were not from the CIA budget but from secret funds controlled by the Pentagon. This could not be done by CIA funds because, perhaps surprisingly, for the CIA to operate in this way is a crime in the United States.
Whether my informant knew or suspected that the “secret Pentagon funds” were drug money I do not know. They did not mention narcotics.
But, given that sometimes we are ruled by lunatics, if there’s any chance of this happening, we must all go to Gaza. Having said that, i’m for bed.

MoD defends using shot pigs in military training
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has defended allowing military surgeons to practise on live pigs that have been shot to replicate battlefield injuries.
The MoD said the training, which takes place twice a year in Denmark, gave surgeons “invaluable experience” and “helped save lives on operations”.
Animal rights group Peta called for an end to the “barbaric” exercise, saying surgeons could use human simulators.
It could not be justified “medically, ethically and educationally”, it said.
RSPCA spokesperson Klare Kennett said: “The practice of shooting and injuring pigs for Army surgeons to practice their skills on is abhorrent and shocking.
“Pigs are intelligent animals and most people would be appalled by this, especially as there is an alternative available which does not involve harming any animals.”

OK, that’s your experience from mixing with Israelis (in Australia?) and watching US TV. I wasn’t talking about people in or from Zionazi-occupied Palestine. I was talking on the basis of my knowledge of Jewish scenes in various parts of Britain. I tell you as a fact that the word ‘shiksa’ is common usage in many non-Yiddish-speaking Jewish families in London and elsewhere. Not when gentiles are present, because that would be a ‘shanda’. Those who know how racist the culture is (do you?) won’t be surprised that stuff gets said when they’re not there that isn’t said when they are. But people from that background who reject the racism can be perfectly willing to tell gentiles about it. Unfortunately (and as Gilad Atzmon has also observed), they are a much smaller number than people who don’t really reject the racist background and who only pretend not to be racist when gentiles are watching. The culture is geared to encourage that. If a person from a Jewish background wants to be accepted by a non-Jewish person as someone who isn’t racist, this is how you can judge whether they are genuine or not. I.e. do they actually tell you, with disgust, about how pervasive Jewish racism is among Jews, preferably telling you some details you didn’t already know, or don’t they?
And note that I say ‘person from a Jewish background’. Why? Precisely because I am not racist. To say that everyone from a Jewish background is this, that, or the other, e.g. that they are a ‘Jew’ and therefore they must be like this, that, or the other, is obviously racist. Also the somewhat awkward phrasing serves to point up the fact that people from Jewish backgrounds who reject the racism often (but not always) also reject the identity of ‘Jewish’, e.g. they will say ‘my parents are Jewish, but I’m not’. If those Israelis you know haven’t included anyone like that (which somehow doesn’t surprise me), you’ve been unlucky.
Back to the language specifics. ‘Shiksa’ is one of a small number of Yiddish or Hebrew words used in English, as loanwords, by some Jewish people, who will also use words such as ‘bubala’, ‘mezuzah’ (which are not racist words at all), ‘yok’ (which always is), ‘frummer’, etc. I’m talking about people who don’t speak Yiddish, but who use some Yiddish words.
If you’re in London some time, and have time away from your Israeli friends and watching US television, you could go up to Stoke Newington for 6 months or so and check it out.
As for frummers, well quite a lot of them in Britain do speak Yiddish.
I don’t watch TV, whether US or otherwise, but I should imagine that some of the word usage on the TV screen that you have heard in between the advertisements is pseudo-ironic.
