    I think you will find that on this blog you are the jaded establishment parrot – but if you want to say something original that goes against the prevailing flow here be my guest.

    ResDiss, there you go again with your cheap, childish, school-yard attempted retort. At least use your own words FCS.

    You want to talk crime and loss of money. Here you go — be prepared to be dazzled/click on the link:

    Now shut yourself back in your black-box where you are deprived of all the clarity and light of Life. I’m tired of seeing what a petty, shallow human being you are.

    “and how Cyprus was the conduit for much of their funds and has now been screwed up as a result.”

    And one more thing you dimwit, Cyprus hasn’t “been screwed up as a result.” The Cypriots also don’t think so. They have been screwed up as a result of their stupid investments in Greek bonds.

    As it was Balls who was the fixer and recruiter for the US neo-cons, introducing and arranging meetings between ‘Miliband of Georgia’, Brown, The Blair himself and many more of the creepy right wing ideologues and scummy opportunists still crawling in the smoking crater that was the Labour Party, to many ‘influential’ US figures, then budding war criminals who stand convicted in the court of public opinion now, if not yet of our dysfunctional and tardy international justice organisations –we really too can’t cheer the ‘loss’ of one or another trojan plant in the UK political establishment, when the ringleader smirks in the shadows, pulling the strings of one another newly vetted puppet to perform for us. Nor would it be good to let this in any way diminish out of misplaced sympathy, the ineffectual and spineless other Ed, leading Labour deservedly into the wilderness. The quicker the tottering ruin falls, can some left of centre alternative put its case to the British people. Within Labour only John McDonnel has been consistently on the side of right and not might, though there might have been as many as 40 close to outright rebellion, still uncertain which side of the Atlantic their bread is buttered on, but lacking the courage to get out and in the misguided belief they can do anything but wail and kick from within.

    I see we are having troublesome trolls again, worshippers of power, willing toadies of an ever aberrant establishment, with the affrontery and bloodlust to pontificate who should live and who should die in a world ordered to their prejudice and greed’s demands and whims.

    The crime of genocide, a summary:

    Article II of the U.N.’s 1948 Convention on Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (UN GAOR Res. 260A (III) 9 Dec. 1948; effective 12 Jan. 1951) specifies five categories of activity, only one of which involves outright killing, to be genocidal when directed against an identified “national, ethnical, racial, or religious group,” and therefore criminal under international law.
    (a) Killing members of the group;
    (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
    (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its
    physical destruction in whole or in part;
    (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
    (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

    Under Article III, the Convention makes the following acts punishable under the law:
    (a) Genocide;
    (b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;
    (c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;
    (d) Attempt to commit genocide;
    (e) Complicity in genocide.
    Article IV states that all persons shall be held accountable for acts committed under Article III, “whether they are constitutionally responsible rulers, public officials, or private individuals”

    These seem almost to define the people who lead us and those, such as those here who defend them when the evidence is overwhelming and damning. What can possibly motivate someone to defend genocidal acts and activities past, ongoing and overtly planned, than complicity.

    I’ve never had the impression anywhere on the internet in sharing virtual ‘space’ with such evil, with such shameless lack of remorse, than here on this blog. Makes me shudder.

    Habakack does not understand why the IRC has reneged access to academics asking to research its archives.
    I know that it is doing far more worth work than the other IRC, but it is wholly mistaken to procrastinate and refuse access, and, with it answers why it has deemed it right to hold the actions of the allies, immediately preceding the war and lasting for over a year, a secret.

    ‘The KGB archive is more forthcoming than the IRC’, mein kleiner Weichling, and more accurate. This was pointed out by the Japanese investigators tallying the names and numbers of Japanese prisoners of war, death and transport trails trough and in Russian camps. The accuracy was down to two persons which were not accounted for in the Russian archive.

    Henry Dunant would spin in his grave for what is kept secret in Genevre, because of politics, a travesty of historical proportion and an attempt to rewrite history that should be condemned.

    As for your friendly and erodite remarks, is it because you can’t comprehend that humanitarian organisations make bad decisions and are trying to cover them up, because they can.

    You must be so filled with joy today, no problems with the prostrate, full of lashing out at all and sundry, because you can,bless.

    Not many take to your personal jibes here, they are more akin to an antisocial repressive, an utterly irrelevant ‘it’, up its own arse with irrational grandeur and sycophantic’s.
    I pity you and I forgive your ignorance, because you know shit about it.

    But what would you know of it,

  • Clark

    This is why Mary’s comments about who knows who are relevant to the understanding of politics and power, and far more than mere gossip or “guilt by association”:

    “The ‘147 People’ Destroying the US Economy”

    https://www.commondreams.org/view/2013/03/26-2

    “Around 150 or 200 people form a human being’s social universe. They shape his or her world view, his or her world. That means that 147 people can change the course of history. Not necessarily the same 147 people, of course. But the small social groups which surround our world’s leaders have extraordinary power.”

  • nevermind

    Thanks for that link Clark, what is this link revealing about mission creep of creepy ideas, by creeps?

    Agencies of state have become a collateral to society, by acting criminal with intent, because they think they can. They are creating enemies to do nothing else but perpetuate their own existence.

    But for an intelligence agency to infiltrate a humanitarian organisations for the sake of your underhand agenda does sound about right for David Milliband, stepping back from torture in Uzbekistan, Bagran and Iraq to a more mundane logistic desk job, with Beelzebub Kissinger showing up now and then for cup of kiddush.

    The CIA has form, their involvement in sterilising woman in South America, their undermining of Alliende’s regime with just such same methods, not just in Chile, promoting dictators who accepted their Monroe doctrine.

    Thats why they so hated Chavez, he kicked over their apple cart and told them to pay decent market prices for Venezuelan sweet crude, or get the hell out.

    Only shows that everyone gets what they deserve.

    “Assange prosecutor quits while accuser sacks lawyer”

    The top Swedish prosecutor pursuing sexual assault charges against Julian Assange has abruptly left the case and one of Mr Assange’s accusers has sacked her lawyer.

    The turmoil in the Swedish Prosecution Authority’s effort to extradite Mr Assange comes as another leading Swedish judge prepares to deliver an unprecedented public lecture in Australia next week on the WikiLeaks publisher’s case.

    The Swedish Prosecution Authority want to extradite Mr Assange to have him questioned in Stockholm in relation to sexual assault allegations by two women.

    Fairfax Media has obtained Swedish court documents that reveal high-profile Swedish prosecutor Marianne Nye has unexpectedly left the handling Mr Assange’s case, effective from Wednesday, and has been replaced by a more junior prosecutor, Ingrid Isgren. The reasons for the change have not yet been disclosed.
    Advertisement

    One of Mr Assange’s two accusers, political activist Anna Ardin, also applied to the Swedish courts on February 28 to replace her controversial lawyer Claes Borgstrom. Ms Ardin complained that she found Mr Borgstrom spent much more time talking to the media than to her, referred her inquiries to his secretary or assistant, and that she had lost faith in him as her legal representative.

    As well as pursuing the prosecution of Mr Assange, Mr Borgstrom has been heavily criticised for his handling of another high-profile case involving an alleged mass murderer, with one prominent Swedish commentator describing him as doing “the worst defence counsel job in modern Swedish history”.

    Ms Ardin’s engagement of a new lawyer, Elisabeth Massi Fritz, has now been approved.

    So its the lawyers fault now that Anna Ardin’s sleepy sex story is a total farce.

    “Mary .. You are going to have to do a lot better than that. Yes I got nearly a thousand words but you still avoid telling us what picture they paint – you just come up with the conclusion that the Obama’s are not a J-wish family. The reason why Michelle Obama is honouring a J-wish religous ceremony is to show respect to a major religion – just as the first family show respect to Islam as well by hosting regular Iftar dinners. So I ask again what picture where you were trying to paint[?]”

    J-daism is not a major world religion by any liberal interpretation. But it is the ostensible religion of the world’s most powerful and politically well connected of ethnic minorities. Mary’s picture doesn’t even paint a dozen words let alone a thousand. Put simply, the message is “J–s are powerful, so play along and suck up to them.”

    Tory cu*ts:

    “More than two million of the poorest households in England will pay more council tax from next week because of benefit changes coming into force, an anti-poverty think tank has said.”

    “Ministers said councils should protect the most vulnerable from the increases.”

    The only way the councils can protect the vulnerable is in cuts to services, which I think is part of a wider plan to cut public services in general.

  • Mary

    Cheers mates.

    You have noticed that they only gang up and pile in when there is any mention of anyone or anything Jewish, whether critical or uncritical, and when there is critical comment on any think tank, set up, outfit or organisation that supports the activities of the evil USUKIsNATO axis and its operatives.

    They do not pass comment on the deterioration in public services including the NHS and its privatisation, injustice, extra judicial killings by drone, illegal and offensive war, torture of individuals by states, repression, the activities of the banksters* against the interests of the 99%, loss and freedom of speech, invasion of privacy, the Occupation of Palestine and the atrocities being committed against the Palestinians and many other matters which cause the majority of us here concern.

    They certainly have no care for Craig’s work and beliefs and the only reason they are here is to divert, distract and destroy. They anger me greatly.

    This will get them going. A good hitting-the-nails-on-the-head piece about Miliband by Peter Oborne. He is persona non grata to the troll groupings for his previous work in exposing the money behind the Israel lobby.

    “Im just just going to respond with easily verified engineering reality Fred – You can also generate electricity where it is needed. In this day and age that would be a challenge but an easier one than having everyone growing all their own food. And wind and solar would be the most practical foundation of it.”

    You can’t respond with reality.

    Reality is they are putting up loads of windmills places like Shetland when there is no way at the moment to get the electricity to the places it is needed.

    Down to 3% now so I don’t suppose it matters for the scam to work. Just put up a wind mill and pretend it produces electricity then burn a few hundred tons of coal pretending it doesn’t produce any co2.

  • Mary

    One correction, Oborne omits all mention of Miliband’s appalling record as Foreign Secretary vis-à-vis Palestine.

    He was in post from 28 June 2007 – 11 May 2010

    Did Miliband condemn Cast Lead? No. Or help the British on their way to Gaza at the outbreak who were in the Dignity boat which the Israeli navy rammed three times and left for dead? No. Or ever challenge Olmert and Livni. No.

    Some of Miliband’s weasel words.

    How Israel Won the Settlement Battle Againhttp://www.globalresearch.ca/how-israel-won-the-settlement-battle-again/16010

    There are many other instances. For instance his preparatory work in changing the law on universal jurisdiction so that the Israeli war criminals could enter this country without fear of arrest.

    http://www.palestinechronicle.com/old/view_article_details.php?id=19584

    and many references to his predictable views on Iran.

    Complete and utter garbage and an obvious diversion from answering the question – now please explain what words were being painted by the picture of Michelle Obama.

    Peter Oborne on the Israel Lobby in the UK.

    Dispatches: Inside Britain’s Israel Lobby

    Video – Channel 4 UK – Broadcast November 16, 2009

    Dispatches investigates one of the most powerful and influential political lobbies in Britain, which is working in support of the interests of the State of Israel.

    Despite wielding great influence among the highest realms of British politics and media, little is known about the individuals and groups which collectively are known as the pro-Israel lobby.

    Political commentator Peter Oborne sets out to establish who they are, how they are funded, how they work and what influence they have, from the key groups to the wealthy individuals who help bankroll the lobbying.

    He investigates how accountable, transparent and open to scrutiny the lobby is, particularly in regard to its funding and financial support of MPs.

    The pro-Israel lobby aims to shape the debate about Britain’s relationship with Israel and future foreign policies relating to it.

    Oborne examines how the lobby operates from within parliament and the tactics it employs behind the scenes when engaging with print and broadcast media.

    Please wait a moment for video to load.

    Thanks for that link Mary. And this was the main point i made earlier in the day yesterday spelt out by and from the same article:

    “He was at the heart of the Labour machine when it spewed out its now notorious falsehoods over immigration and Iraq (there is a savage irony to the fact that Mr Miliband is going to head a humanitarian organisation when the government of which he was such a loyal member created so many of the world’s disasters).”

    And why do you think that their banks were investing in high yield high risk Greek bonds? Clue – have a look at the other side of their balance sheets. And isn’t it good banking to have diversified sources of funding?

    Happy to discuss the finer points e.g how the Russia Cyprus tax treaty actually worked in practice – but in the closed loop world in which you live I doubt you have much interest. Given your lack of ability to think for yourself it is perhaps no wonder that you are so susceptible to the ideas of the various cults that your belong.

    Assange prosecutor quits while accuser sacks lawyer:

    http://www.smh.com.au/national/assange-prosecutor-quits-while-accuser-sacks-lawyer-20130328-2gwjk.html

    Thanks for that. The accuser who has sacked the lawyer is the one with the tales of a “deliberately torn” DNA-free condom. It’s the other accuser who alleges “sleepy sex”. It will be interesting to see whether she retains Claus Borgstrom as her lawyer because there has never been any confirmation – other than from Borgstrom himself – that she’s had any dealings with him. He’s claimed at various points that he’s “spoken to both women” but that can only be verified in AA’s case.

    Also interesting in that story is the fact that it’s taken AA from 28 February until now to receive permission from the Swedish authorities to change her State-appointed lawyer, which contrasts markedly from how long it originally took politician/lawyer Claus Borgstrom to get himself appointed onto the case: three days, from 24 August 2010 when he was first telephoned by AA until 27 August 2010 when he petitioned his old friend Marianne Ny to reopen the closed case. Significantly (and this is a matter of public record, confirmed by Borgstrom) AA didn’t know it was even possible to get a case reopened. So why did she phone him? Claus Borgstrom is mostly known as a defence lawyer.

  • Dreoilin

    “AA didn’t know it was even possible to get a case reopened. So why did she phone him? Claus Borgstrom is mostly known as a defence lawyer.”

    Sounds a lot more like he phoned her …
