Ive looked for a transcript of Lindskog’s lecture – it shows something about news communication today that there are hundreds of articles on this containing a selection of quotes but no transcript anywhere – it stinks.

Anyway it seems like the judge has said significant things in defiance of the campaign to discredit Assange and Manning. Such as:

“He’ll be thought of as a person who made public some pieces of classified information to the benefit of mankind,”

Here is article by Lindskog published 28th March as an extract of the speech he has just made and everyone is reporting on without having actually read or heard it. Some tweets say he used Assange accusers names.

    http://www.afr.com/p/lifestyle/review/julian_assange_swedish_judge_view_UKXfH1WonxwgZeaG0XnizI

    (…)
It is amusing how the Assange case offers possibilities of sharp turns when it comes to topics to be discussed. From, on the one hand, whether lies about condoms can result in a sexual crime to, on the other, the question of if telling the truth, by publishing classified information, can amount to a crime permitting extradition to the state that claims being harmed.

What have you tested? or you just get it from books?
You are right about Tom Beardon but you see he never builds stuff I agree he is BS. I work with Real engineers.

Ok replicate this it should be no problem for you being a scientist.
Go on prove J. L. wrong am sure he would love to here from you.http://jlnlabs.online.fr/mahg/index.htm
Here I will give you this to you if you want to explore the effect. In the 1970`s Mullard Labs were testing PZ material and have shown when operating in the non-linear mode on the knee there is more energy out
than in.The equations do not compute E=1/2CVsq . Tell me Jemand were you taught according to Newtons gravity Masses are attracted to each other? I don`t know if you are aware but that idea is a Lie it is reversed they are pushed together.

To my mind there have been no credible reports or information on repressed or new power production technology in the discussions about it in this thread.
There has just been the sort of talk and reports on it which less demanding people people find curious and hopeful, but which most practical or technically experienced people find pointlessly unsubstantiated.

Dave’s personal testimonies allude to having special distinctions and qualifications but such allusions are worth almost nothing in sub-identity web discussion. At the same time Dave can be childish (“you just get it from books?”) And require great suspension of disbelief to follow.

I may this every now and then while this kind of talk is happening around serious matters -it is weak as a light topic, and problematic to serious topics if mistaken as being relevant to them.

  • Ben Franklin -Machine Gun Preacher (unleaded version)

Crab; I don’t think Dave is being vague without a purpose. He has alluded to a colleague(?) who met a mysterious end.

He may not wish to reveal too much in a public forum. From what I see there is a concerted effort to reveal the mysteries of our World which is, in itself, an enigmatic incomprehensibility. Are we the gatekeepers? Maybe on Craig’s blog, but the demand for proof of life, may be premature. I’m giving Dave the benefit of doubt. I find the research interesting, and will suspend my disbelief until the film’s conclusion.

Jemand: No offense intended. Maybe I went overboard in my appraisal of your skepticism.

  • crab

I think there a considerable efforts to obscure the obvious* and what many mysteries have certainly been revealed in the quest of knowledge are revealed through more impressive studies than the kind considered, and for whatever reason vaguely and breifly asserted here by Dave.

  • Ben Franklin -Machine Gun Preacher (unleaded version)

“many mysteries have certainly been revealed in the quest of knowledge ”

Have they always been embraced by the multitudes? I suggest there is room for patience.

  • crab

Most of them are embraceable as soon as you can appreciate the revelation through study of good work. If that cant be done, the work is not good enough.

How many leaps of science can you think of that actually did spend years unappreciated -at a practical and effective state of understanding, not simply vague suggestions and general approaches which are ever diverse?

There could almost be no weaker argument for something – that some similar contentions about something else which was valid, have existed in history. Its an argument of ‘similar fantastic possibility’ which can be applied to any fantasy.

It doesnt boil down to artistic histories, it just boils down to, is there anything to go on here, and then.. why is someone saying there is something to go on here – when there plainly is not?

  • crab

Second thoughts the second question is not resolvable.
The important matter is there anything to go on here?
I haven’t found or surfed up a single well worked out thing from looking into the lenr and ecat etc claims in this thread. And i have come across alot of outright misleading dross like cfcs not being responsible for ozone depletion and decades of secret “fine art” weather control and other stuff in nearby links. Its a nonsense maze for genuine truth seekers to waste time in.

Dylan sets the scene for a moving and unforgettable exploration of the state of our planet at this critical time. Meet the people at the sharp end of the environmental debate in squatter cities, villages, jungles and deserts across Africa, Asia and South America then look at the modern world with new eyes; both the extraordinary achievements and the crisis we face as our goals became inflated – as modernity became the sign of conquest, exploitation, overconsumption and the destruction of the earth.

Hard Rain shows that there are not many problems, but one huge challenge with many solutions: aligning human systems and natural systems. Mark shows that we have the technologies, lifestyle approaches and development strategies to reinvent the modern world so it’s compatible with nature. The tragedy is that governments have largely given up on sustainable development. They pretend to negotiate a carbon-constrained world; they pretend they are making progress. They might just pretend until it is too late.

it’s not just Monbiot, but James Lovelock, James Hansen (who just left NASA to become a full-time activist) & manmade global warming advocate Fred Pearce, who writes for so much MSM. they are all shilling for nuclear. Monbiot & Pearce didn’t show their nuclear faces til after Fukushima:

27 Nov 2011: UK Daily Mail: Fred Pearce: Nuclear power? Yes please!: A former opponent calls on Chris Huhne to
embrace the energy source that’s cheap AND good for the environment
I never thought I’d say this – but the future is nuclear. Or it should be…
In fact, I see no sensible low-carbon future that does not involve a lot of nuclear power…

april 1 – Former Mossad Chief Pays Tribute to Qatar
Former Zionist Mossad chief Shabtai Shavit (1989-1996), has recently declared that Qatar played a historic role in favor of the Zionist entity “greater than that of the United Kingdom,” the Zionist daily Yediot Aharonot reported.
Referring to Doha’s role in implementing US and Zionist policies in the Middle East, Shavit added that “the services Qatar granted for Tel Aviv are more decisive than those granted for the entity by other countries for many years.”
According to the former Mossad chief, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of Qatar, had always sided with the U.S. and the Zionist entity regarding regional issues….

    DANGER AHEAD !!

The Great Satan has deliberately misinformed a N Korean spy within the S Korean Establishment about its nuclear intentions in the Korean Peninsula. This is the reason for the retaliatory N Korean stance and noise, including threats to the US Mainland.

THE REAL INTENTION of the secret mass spin department in the Pentagon (the one that forgot the one hour DST lag in its WTC7 note given to the BBC reader on 911) is to remove any taboo and human revulsion over any kind of nuclear attack. It is now at a 25% level. They will continue this trivialisation, until they have achieved a critical mass of public indifference.

THE SATANIC DEVILS ARE SETTING UP THIS PUBLIC ACCEPTANCE/APATHY FOR A STRIKE ON IRAN. All the “eye in the triangle” devils will then need is an Obomber “saving the Muslims of Benghazi” spin speech, on par with highly deceptive “Cairo” speech that won him the Nobel Peace Prize !!

  • nevermind

Well that deserved its own box and it will be the undoing of Osborne who’s done nothing to repatriate the monies bypassing the exchequer for decades.

what an indictment of party politics. The British Virgin Islands are still under British jurisdiction afaik, so why is there no royal decree, a change in law, or a confiscation of ill gotten gains.

Has Gideon wiped our eyes too much with the reform of the benefit system to cast his beady wide eyes on those who are the real scroungers?

Toxic Tories have to go and anybody who still believes that sitting putt and doing nothing but babble, please review. Nominations for the county council elections end tomorrow 12 noon.

  • Jemand - Guns vs iPods

    @Ben

Let me simplify the problem with a fictitious scenario. It’s not intended to be patronising, it merely strips the irrelevant scientific detail from the dynamic that I am witnessing.

We are sitting down looking over a very large meadow. People come along and say to us that there is buried treasure in the meadow. Some make claims that the treasure is buried here or there but provide no genuine evidence – just rumours, dodgy maps, conspiracy stories all intended to dress the claims up to make them believable.

Some of them sell maps to treasure hunters. They don’t dig up the treasure themselves although they sometimes claimed to have found some pieces. They often make excuses by saying they have been obstructed in their efforts to dig. If someone calls them crackpots, they put the onus of (dis)proof on that person to go into the meadow where the treasure is claimed to exist and dig a hole to prove that there is no treasure to be foundy there. Dave Lawton did just this in his comment to me above. Why would I waste MY time and money to disprove HIS crackpot claims?

When you look over the meadow, you realise that you could waste a lot of effort digging thousands of holes looking for treasure where OTHER people claim it to be. We know this as the gold rush. Sometimes, very rarely, discoveries are made and these are held up by map sellers as evidence that their maps are valid. But there are countless examples of men who have wasted their lives chasing riches and digging thousands of empty holes after being infected with gold fever.

The simplest way of ending this tale is to say that anyone who claims there is treasure buried out there, let THEM provide evidence of where it is buried, let THEM dig it up if it really exists and don’t waste any money on maps they sell puporting to show where it is.

    http://treasuretrovegold.blogspot.com.au/2011/07/beware-treasure-hunting-scams.html
    . . . .

    @Dave Lawton

Genuine scientists are like genuine gold miners. They’re interested in evidence that justifies further effort – not unverified rumours of major breakthroughs. Randomly investigating alleged phenomena is the fastest route to failure – just like randomly digging thousands of holes in a meadow looking for mythical treasure.

So let me issue this challenge to Dave Lawton. Dave is making these claims so let him find a bunch of young, enthusiastic physicists studying at a local university, construct a working protoype of his over-unity device, catalogue the data that is produced, make a youtube video of the project and publish all of the details. I’ve seen this level of effort with other unimportant projects by amateurs so it’s not unreasonable to ask Dave to do this for a project that will prove to the world that a sustainable solution to our energy needs, and problems with climate change has been discovered and PROVED. Dave Lawton could be famous. Will Dave rise to the challenge or make excuses as to why he will not?
    . . . .

In the same vane Kostas Vaxevanis who exposed the Greek leading hunta behind the democratic face of Greece, most likely the same people who support the current right wing fascists, as a diversion from the real issue, i.e.

they have paid no taxes for decades!
by diverting the issues, by fostering violence against immigrants, political refugees, those fleeing from violence in their own countries, many of them traumatised already, only to be traumatised again by Golden Dawn.

It is said that those deposits in Switzer4land could bail out Greece, so how come the clever lawyers and accountants are unable to prosecute these tax evaders and repatriate Greece’s legitimate taxes? Are these Goldmann Sachs lawyers and Ms. Lagarde supporting these criminals?

this video of Kostas, another important whistle blower who seems to have more love for his country than any of his profession in Greece, or those in Government is short and sharp.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/video/2013/apr/03/kostas-vaxevanis-greeks-foreign-press-video

Please tell me if you think it rings bells with you, because it is the same here, imho, diversions galore from the real issues.
Quick lets start another war and flood the pages with poor South Koreans suffering under the yoch of Kim Il Un’s tongue. FFS they don’t even have enough fuel to run their tanks, every time they talk manoeuvres you see on or two tanks moving about, maybe a few helicopters to help the charade, but largely they are unable to mover anything but their mouth.

Off course they have missiles, so lets make something of that shall we.

This morning R$ whipping up the storm by saying that their new missiles just could reach Europe, they fail to mention the magic 45 minutes but the gist is the same.
Diversions diversions and more diversions, keeping people in fear and in control.

This scenario is dangerous as it plays in front of the Chinese border. Remember the first strike plans being developed to strike Beijings underground nuclear arsenal?
The US does not like it up them and we are at the end of a big stick if it happens.

  • Jay

    Just walked from a cold northerly into a house with pure electric heating. Wow that is heat from electeic storage heaters;

I am telling you unless we have a miracle the only way of heating millions upon millions of homes is Nuclear fuel energy.

If we build our living environment differently possibly low energy liviing is feasible.

I hear that sheeps wool is discarded these days:

Can we afford not to waste the polymers now?

  • nevermind

Maybe our climate planners here would like to add a nuclear winter into their debate, lets say for two years, at least, should we go for the big rumble, cause the rest of the discussion is irrelevant if the US decides to sort out Syria Iran and China in one foul swoop.

lambs to the slaughter is mutton in the pot.

  • Habbabkuk (La vita è bella!)

Bellicose words from Israel, the UK, the US, France, etc – whether followed by bellicose actions or not – are instantly picked up on on this blog and condemned with some vigour. Only the other day, someone here was predicting an Israeli nuclear attack on Iran.

It is therefore somewhat surprising that the recent bellicose words from the North Korean leadership have attracted so little attention here, with only Nevermind posting on the subject so far(I disregard English Knight’s post on the grounds of frivolity). And even Nevermind’s point appears to be that this is all a diversion from something or other.

I wonder why this should be so.

    Double standards, perhaps?

“I am telling you unless we have a miracle the only way of heating millions upon millions of homes is Nuclear fuel energy.”

Jay, what you chose not to question, pontificating after your walk, was how the nuclear industry gave us this long-term extremely dangerous form of energy, but more, it also provided the weapons to penetrate right to the core.

I got this through this morning and if I had room I could see its potential. I have to admit Greg Wilson has opened my eyes.

    http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-windjammer-energy-end-global-warming-and-climate-change

  • crab

Afraid the windjammer looks impractical to me. Based on friction/drag/flapping of tethered sails which is much less efficient than aerodynamic capture. It is very hard to estimate capture except that it should be low, and it is not estimated in the literature.

Turbine aerodynamics generally capture a suprising and well formulated amount – about 50% of the kinetic energy available in wind, which travels past the area of sweep.

This idea which relies on drag could expect much lower capture, requiring huge sails to produce similar power.

The writeup also contains claims that normal turbine designs are a threat to wildlife. Which is unreasonable scaremongering and based on particular problem designs and locations.

I think huge sails blowing in strong winds would be as much danger to unalert flyers as swooping turbine blades.

@Jemand thanks for word appreciating my comments on this topic, it is a subject which i have spent some time obsessing on so i take the opportunity to flood a personal interest that is on topic.

  • Jay

My point was yiu can really feel the heat energy walking in from the cold.

I am simply saying, sorry to pontificate, energy is quantifiable and reason says the big energy source in the sky is only mimicked by nuclear fusion. Anything else is will in the greater scheme cost more im energy than it produces.

Energy production follows the trend of the economy. A “ponzi” system.

Sorry you know what I mean. Presently the system is detrimental to the planet and its species., therefore im the minds eye of should not be sustainable for good reasons but that would be fascistic and too organic in nature.
Just ask any preserving parent whats important.

I think that the thread should have focused by now on the growing nuclear threat in North Korea, especially since Washington is in the process of attempting to disarm its nuclear weapons capability by a ‘false flag’ process, or the confrontation should be given a thread of its own.
