Crass 868

In the week they took hundreds of pounds from people in severe poverty, MPs and Lords claim up to £3,750 each to return from their luxury holidays to spout off in honour of Margaret Thatcher. Meantime the media are busy classifying any potential protest or expression of opinion at the taxpayer funded funeral jamboree as “potential terrorism”.

Whether protest at the funeral is tasteful or not is a fair question. But there is no question it is perfectly lawful. There is virtually no understanding of the very notion of civil liberty in the mainstream media.

    @ Komodo :

I’m not sure that you’re especially well-placed to give us lectures on providing or not providing “sources”. Please refer, for example, to your post of 10h03 this morning…..

Breaking news of interest to virology

Added 15.04.13. Multiple reports of the first asymptomatic case in a 4-year old male (4M) living across the street from the previously H7N9-POS, 7F. This may demystify a lot of H7N9 confusion as well as seriously increase the threat level for H7N9 spread…a stealth virus not only in poultry but humans is a new game. As I’ve suggested earlier, the widespread use of sensitive molecular detection methods, not just on the cases with the most severe clinical signs and symptoms, is absolutely essential to detect mild or asymptomatic cases of infection. The use of PCR in this way seems to have done just that. I’ll keep a close eye on this story but I suspect it will result in a drastic change to the landscape of detection numbers and epidemiology. Symptoms alone tell only a small part of the story of any respiratory virus. This may strengthen the case for H7N9 having been in the community for much longer than the pneumonia cases officially commencing back in Feb, suggest.

Could Big Ben be set up to deliver a ‘-kers’ after every bong on Wednesday?

  • Michael Culver

I suppose East Timor was a fairly minor genocide as genocides go but as Thatcher and the U.K. helped so eagerly it is odd that no-one on this site wishes to comment, just as no-one wants to know about her sending the S.A.S.& S.B.S.to assist and train Pol Pot’s delightful Khmer Rouge.Perfidious Albion indeed, still the 6ft by 8ft oil on canvass can be viewed at my website,Bliar Thatcher Kissinger and Suharto and much much more.Triumphs of Free Enterprise oh yes indeed, maybe I should take it to Antiques Roadshow??!

“Could Big Ben be set up to deliver a ‘-kers’ after every bong on Wednesday?”

It probably could, Guano. But it would adda fair old whack to the £10 million?

    I could’t find your source.

My Uncle who was in the Merchant Navy told me the Soviet trained union leaders led the strikes.

    I will follow it up.

We should be striving for better education and understanding of the fundamentals of living im harmony with each other and our environment yet we are predisposed on a bubble of materialistic associatiions.

I have stopped listening to news and have not got Television what have I missed?

Seen the first Swallow and Brimstone Butterfly and hoping there are plenty of our chirpy friends this spring for our evenings pleasure.
    The world is mostly beautiful.

Michael Culver, many people on this blog are keen to be informed of all political and international roguery, but if you read past comments you will notice that the bulk of the comments these days come from trolls, and a lot of people are feeling disenfranchised, which is why your comments might not be getting the same attention as in the past.

Regular comment-makers have covered lots of Thatcher’s and Blair’s misdeeds and crimes throughout the world. East Timor and Cambodia genocides are as important as the kicking off of islanders from the Chagos islands to build a UK submarine base, and support for the Falkland Islands because the main company out to exploit the mineral wealth is one of which Dennis Thatcher was a main shareholder. Considering the recent death of Margaret Thatcher it is that kind of comment that is getting the most attention because it is current. Don’t despair. Your day will come.

    Thank you for your reply.

    So your statement:

“The Unions here- Cammel Laird ship builders had a 2 year dissagreement over who would paint the ships waterline.”

is something someone made up and you presented it as fact.

    You say:

“My Uncle who was in the Merchant Navy told me the Soviet trained union leaders led the strikes.”

This anecdote cannot be relied upon can it?

    Were union leaders Soviet trained?

Perhaps you could research that to back-up your uncle.

I would be interested in what you find.

So that’s official now. Even Big Ben has been banned from going “Ding Dong”

Big Ben to be silent for Baroness Thatcher’s funeral
Clock tower of the Palace of Westminster The chimes of Big Ben are world famous

The chimes of Big Ben will be silenced for the duration of Baroness Thatcher’s funeral, House of Commons Speaker John Bercow has announced.

He told MPs this would be “an appropriate means of indicating our sentiments” during the occasion.

    1965: Last farewell to Churchill
Thousands of people have paid their last respects to Britain’s greatest wartime leader Sir Winston Churchill who was buried today after a full state funeral.

Silent crowds lined the streets to watch the gun carriage bearing Sir Winston’s coffin leave Westminster Hall as Big Ben struck 0945. The procession travelled slowly through central London to St Paul’s cathedral for the funeral service.

I would expect, they, the family and the governing class have already burned the auld witch, privately and discreetly. It is simply to great a risk to take, the possibility of having her rotting flesh and bones spilling on to the street, a poisoned feast for birds, dogs and rats, nor her head used for an impromptu game of footbal or impaled and held high as a traditional crowd-pleaser, ever more like its Spitting Image doll, with a touch of added Frankenstein factor after the post-mortem butchers have done their cutting and stapled her whole again.

The enmity with Heath is still not fully explicable from the usual sources and accounts, there is more to that than ever meets the eye. Bastardy is common enough in inbred circles and I’d not be surprised to learn that Margaret Hilda and Ted had a not too ancient common ancestor.

If you type “dingdong” into twitter search right now, up comes the top images – These are

    http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/8769/dingey.jpg

    1) The Witch Song at No. 1 in Scotland
    2) The “Thatcher Youth” Facebook page (It took them a long time to work out why the name was a bad idea)
    3) Church bell ding dong silenced joke
    4) “Ding Dong The Witch is Dead” at Hampden Park, Glasgow

“Ding Dong The Union with England is Dead” – I think I am actually going to Vote Yes in the Independence Referendum – never thought I’d say that. This lot running the UK are clearly clinically insane. Unless Salmond makes a surprise announcement that he’s actually an agent for MI5 between now and polling day, I think Scotland voting Yes may be inevitable. There’s a momentum building.

Glad your back Mary is full force.

John ‘Hang Nelson Mandela T-shirt Bercow’ wags his finger like a bent school-master after Glenda Jackson’s ‘home truth’ castigation of the heinous, apathetic, thick-skinned, callous and dividing ruse called Thatcherism – Baroness Thatcher’s soul destroying moral pillaging poisonous firebrand –

Bercow, the sick opportunist and moldably ‘go with the flow’ -rolls with punches, political policeman; a disrobed voice of order that praised liar Blair with the words “outstanding statesman” in his role as commander-in-chief of the Iraq genocide in March 2003.

Shame on you Bercow… the people will decide your fate.

** Jay is unable to find the source at present. This does not in any way prove that Jay made it up. So can you back up your slur, Doug? **

    “You say:

“My Uncle who was in the Merchant Navy told me the Soviet trained union leaders led the strikes.”

**Why not, Doug? The uncle was probably in a better position to know than you are, you armchair warrior **

    “Were union leaders Soviet trained?
Perhaps you could research that to back-up your uncle.”

** No need to research that, Dougie. Quite a few members of unions’ executives were self-confessed communists (repeat: self-confessed) and trained in communist tactics of industrial subversion. ***

“I would be interested in what you find.”

** No you wouldn’t. You almost certainly “couldn’t be arsed” to follow up any sources Jay might give you (remember the Chavez sources, Dougie?).

I would be interested in what you find.

Radio 1 asked on its Facebook page what songs listeners would like to hear in “The Ten Minute Takeover” . Most requested is currently – Well you’ve guessed it. It’s Number 1 in Scotland, No. 1 in Wales and now most requested track on BBC Radio 1.

Guess MI5 didn’t have enough people with credit-card addresses in Scotland or Wales to keep it off top spot there.

Oh and for the avoidance of doubt my protesting will be limited to buying and playing the single in my own house. I have never encouraged anyone to protest in any way other than to buy the single. I want to make that clear as I’d rather not have to decide if I’m suffering paranoid delusions or the strange guy at the bus-stop might be following me.

There was a very suspicious tweet that if I spotted with a simple search I am sure US Law Enforcement have. The tweet was suggesting they are the bomber and have the ability to detonate another bomb the police have found. I am assuming the guy is just an idiot. I won’t link the guy’s twitter account but I am sure it has lit up red somewhere in the USA. As his other tweets suggest he is a Jewish basketball fan it would seem unlikely that he would be the bomber but he has also tweeted “God Forgives, I don’t” since the explosion.

“Quite a few members of unions’ executives were self-confessed communists (repeat: self-confessed) and trained in communist tactics of industrial subversion.”

Again you make a statement as if it were fact (which it might be) but you don’t back your claims with evidence.

If I said that Mrs Thatcher enjoyed anal sex I’m sure you would (quite rightly) demand proof of such a statement.

So I wouldn’t say such a thing if I couldn’t back it up with evidence and references.
