    @Komodo.

Thanks for a brilliant and unique evening.

    @Dad!

Any chance of giving us a synopsis of your “re-education?

I know you won’t approve but I have to tell you my date with Komodo was quite an experience!

Nobody told me we’d have to hide in a bush for two hours waiting for our supper to amble by and then have to follow it for miles while it was slowly poisoned by the bacteria in his slobbery bite. All that before we could take our first mouthful.

As it happened it wasn’t pork after all but a scrawny and very surprised brown goat and I only got a leg, sushi style. I’d have got nothing if Gary hadn’t told me that ten minutes of tugging was the polite way to claim one’s portion in polite dragon society.

After dinner we sat silently in K’s special resting place on a low ridge, listening to the cool sea breeze as it whispered through the dry grasses and watching a hazy orange sun set slowly into the warm ocean.

K’s place is a total tip. He’ll will never get his own interior design make-over programme with the BBC. There are some things the human beings just will never do with their droppings.

Also his manners leave a lot to be desired. After a couple of silent hours he regurgitated a mass of horns, hair, and teeth, covered in in the slimiest, smelliest mucus. Then he rubbed his face all over the place to get rid of the mucus. You should have seen the mess. No chance of any kisses after that!

Suddenly he just crawled into a shallow hole one one side of his clearing and went to sleep, leaving me to guess that our first date was over and climb into a tall tree for the night to keep clear of his friends.

Not the most promising first date ”l admit, but a million times better than being a prisoner in Kibo’s chaotic maze of a mind.

    ……………………..

I’ve been thinking of that Russell Brand clip. Quite an eye-opener seeing mainstream US media culture for a whole eight minutes or so. The way he suddenly took over the programe and got in his questions about Snowden and Manning was just brilliant. Great to see these conversations leaking into the mainstream and, it seems causing a majority (55%) to realise he is a whistleblower and patriot in the true sense. The worm turning maybe?

As for that old chestnut of Israel/Palestine being complex. Well, yes it has many different aspects, but surely at it’s core surely it is very simple. If one group of people violently drives vast numbers of people from their homes and then spends the next sixty plus years making the survivor’s lives a misery surely they can expect condemnation and resistance from anyone who has any respect for natural justice and international law.

I’m off to bed. Goodnight all.

[Mod/Jon: the labelling of people as “Mother Superior” – excessive focus on one poster, plus insulting: deleted]

Top post, Habbabkuk. It seems Jon has missed the subtleties of Craig’s plea, namely the word “EVERYONE” printed in block capitals. A little dicky bird tells me Craig isn’t at all happy with the blog being taken over by the stale pronouncements of his coterie of followers.

Top post Villager also at 10:12 pm. I’m sorry I missed that.

  • Anon

Habbabkuk, it seems Jon has forgotten the episode from about a year or so ago, in which he said something along the lines of “Come on guys, not all Jews are bad”, for which he was roundly castigated, and promptly goose-stepped back into line. Since then, and thanks in part to your own noble interjections, there has been a marked decrease in open displays of anti-Semitism, but that is not to say it is not still festering beneath the surface.

It’s amazing how few conservatives understand the difference between ‘Zionism’ and Judaism.

To them it’s just a double-feature at the Cinema.

    I know I shouldn’t but I just can’t resist it ….

“For the months i have seen Habby around, i haven’t once considered him to not be here in good faith …”

    Villager 30 Mar, 2013 – 8:49 pm

“Habbabkuk (La Vita È Bella) …… Piss off you Babbling cunt — we don’t need senile old farts like you tell people around here what to do. And stay contrite because you’re the only prick around here with a proven track-record of sock-puppeting. You don’t get lower than that, get it? In fact you are the only prick around here at all, with or without your sock-puppet. You are missing the point around here — find yourself another blog to crap in.”

Oh, and what’s this from the same thread? Well, well ….

“Habbabkuk (La Vita È Bella!) ….. Its good to have agreement once in awhile. You might also see the value of (at least) some of Mary’s posts. I would’ve thought if you find them off-topic and annoying, you might also find them innocuous enough to ignore them?”

Dreoilin: “I myself have relatives who are English and Scottish, but for some reason, no Welsh that I know of. [Yet!]”

Reminds me of a tawdry old chat up line me & my mates used to use… “Got any Welsh in you… no? How would you like some then?” I was astonished that it ever worked, even more at how often.

  • Habbabkuk (La vita è bella!)

    “Mother Superior” is offensive?

Only if you find religion offensive, I think. To be a Mother Superior is a distinction in a noble calling, is it not? And the approach of certain posters to this blog somehow reminds one of a religious calling.

Anyway, I shall expect Jon to instantly delete any post which calls somebody else a TROLL. Can we pls have that assurance?

A furore is building over the ConDem abandoning legislation to introduce plain wrapping for cigarettes and its connection to Cameron’s Australian adviser who advises Phillip Morris and BAT. I referred to this yesterday morning. http://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2013/07/blog-down/comment-page-2/#comment-417653

A Conservative MP, Sarah Wollaston who was a GP in Totnes, is outraged about it and the abandoning of alcohol pricing.

It is being said that Cameron has been told by Crosby to clear the decks of any plans for legislation that could lose votes and to stick to matters like the EU referendum and immigration control. Crosby obviously fears the UKIP factor.

Radio 4 Today were speaking to Frances O’Grady of the TUC just before 8am on the subject of union funding for Labour. She had just been talking about secret donations to the Tories such as one from Circle Health which preceded their acquiring the franchise for a NHS hospital, Hinchingbroke Hospital, and that the union funding is open and voted upon by the memberships, when the line went down. Jim Naughtie and Justin Webb performed a little act of surprise.

The ins and outs of the Hinchingbroke deal and the PFI which is costing us £1m PER WEEK.

Circle Health’s Chief Executive at the hospital has already left and a new one appointed. Circle Health are performing a fine balancing act. Hope they don’t fall off the tightrope!

Mr Hunt might be even busier. I see he has had an audience with Prince Charles. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/dec/28/prince-charles-private-meetings-ministers

To be perfectly honest, i’m embarrassed by that myself. One can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube, but one can grow — its a daily process. I’m happy with mine. I’ll also reiterate that Habby has handled himself admirably and very decently. He is not a troll and all should refrain from that accusation.

Conversely the other poster’s ticker-tape has got more and more voluminous, obtuse, tinged with bitterness and irrelevancies and therefore disruptive.

Very boring going over old ground. As for moderation, its not a case of too little too late, but more like too much. I expect we’ll find the right balance.

    Morning team.

Those Murrayistas concerned about Tory Cuts and Austerity Britain will be delighted to learn that the good public servants of Fife have somehow found the resources to put together a website called Fairness, Race Awareness and Equality, Fife (FraeFife), which explains how to deal with “hate crimes” and features a 17-minute video, complete with actors, showing how various hate crimes play out so we can identify and report them.

    http://fraefife.co.uk/

As it appears that calling the people of Ireland “nice” and being likened to “Mother Superior” have been deemed hate crimes, I have provided this resource so that those who have been offended know they are not alone and can explore ways of coming to terms with their ordeals.

(Warning: the video is quite extreme in parts, especially in the language used by the young white lads after the Muslim shopkeeper refuses to serve them fags.)

  • Flaming June

Thanks Suhayl for your condolences. Appreciated.

Jon I know you are having a hard time of it here lately. I have just re-read Villager’s comment @ http://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2013/07/blog-down/comment-page-3/#comment-417821
and see that it is a regurgitation of the bile previously directed at me when a racist tag was invented. Consider a deletion please as other post’s including a couple of mine have been deleted for referring to another poster and/or off topic. Fair’s fair.

I wish Craig would close the thing down until he is up and about again. Any progress report available?

  • Flaming June

Don’t know how the greengrocer’s apostrophe got in there. The previous rage against me was about the lack of inverted commas!

All this trivia whilst the world is burning and its citizens are being blown up in many different ways. 38 people died in Kirkuk and an attempt was made to maim and kill at the Tipton mosque yesterday.

I often wonder what external readers of this blog think.

“I often wonder what external readers of this blog think”

That it would be a better read without you? Maybe the wonder what the relevance is of a Jewish surname, or why you copy out mountains of material from an organization you refer to as the “Goebbels Broadcasting Corporation”. Perhaps they just get tired with your constant hand-wringing over events beyond your control.

Mary, I am sorry to read about the sad news, I wish fortitude and patience for all those caught up in grief. I wish an easier time for the poor woman who is suffering from cancer, and is facing even more testing times ahead. However, the bells have tolled for us, we ought not forget that life is a precious gift that is afforded to us all for a brief period.

Further, stop paying any attention to the disruptive tossers whose remit is to stop any debate about zionistan and all things ziofcukwit. The less you write about the ziofuckwits crimes (getting wound up and get arguing with the tossers) the more these hasbara operatives have achieved their objectives. Why do you even read their brain farts? If god did not mean us to scroll passed these kind of wankers “contribution”, he would not have given us the third button on the mouse! Take a leaf out of Komodo book of how to deal with this sort; redouble your efforts and publish even more of the crimes of the said ziofuckwits.

    ======

It’s amazing how few conservatives understand the difference between ‘Zionism’ and Judaism.

The years of mis-education have paid off handsomely, hence the glaring need for a constant stream of the keyboard warrior brigades, to be despatched to every blog, and forum in the way of protecting the narrative and reinforcing the message.

British MP attacked for questioning Israeli treatment of Palestinians

“On the assumption that the 20th century will include the Holocaust, will he give me an assurance that the life of Palestinians since 1948 will be given equal attention?”

This of course is touching the third rail, because no one has ever suffered as much as the “master race/chosen ones/etc” and to equate the suffering of a bunch of “Pallies” in a fashion after holocaust is the height of “racism/intolerance/bigotry” After all Warsaw ghetto was not as big as the Gaza, and Warsaw ghetto was not under the total siege that Gaza is under.

I see that amidst all this talk of ziofuckwits and hasbara agents, not one of the anti-Zionist, anti-racist Murrayistas has found time in the 1.5 hours it has been up, to take Hasbarista to task for his revolting comment above, in which he assures “habba-kyke” that he has earned a few row advances to the front of the cattle car. If even a moderately Islamophobic remark were made here, the Murrayistas would be hopping mad about it.

“because no one has ever suffered as much as the “master race/chosen ones/etc”

6 million not enough for you, Fedup?

I have decided that every time I see a a rabidly anti-Semitic remark on these pages, I am going to buy a punnet of Israeli strawberries to show solidarity with the Israelis.

Well done to Malala Yousafzai, the brave Pakistani girl shot in the head by the Taliban for the crime of wanting an education. She has told the UN that education frightens the hell out of the Taliban, who rely on ignorance to keep women down.

that old chestnut of Israel/Palestine being complex.

The complexities of attempting to make land theft, murder, torture, kidnap, extrajudicial detention, of the child, the old and everyone in between. As well as economic, and military siege of the indigenous inhabitants, and enforcement of segregation that is enacted in the laws too. These are very complex issues, upon attempting to make such an abhorrent and deviant conduct as acceptable, and tolerable “politics” indeed is nothing short of convoluted.

Simplicity of course is going unnoticed; colonialists going back to the countries whence they came from, and letting the indigenous inhabitants of the “land without people” to get on with their lives.

Though this simple policy cannot be forwarded, for, there is a need for a thuggish bully bunch who will be keeping the flow of oil “free” (in principle/ideally/perhaps/could be) and any little money that is paid in lieu of the “free” flowing oil to be returned back into the coffers of the masters of the universe, through the arms deals to keep the marauding hoards of the zopfiuckwits at bay and stop their push for the eretz shitty strip of land.

Ergo the complex issues referred to.
