The Respectability of Torture

St Mary’s University College, Thurs 1st August, 7.30pm

Craig Murray, former British ambassador to Uzbekistan, was a whistleblower who was removed from his ambassadorial post by Tony Blair for exposing the Tashkent regime‟s use of rape and systematic torture, including the boiling to death of political opponents. He has also spoken out against Central Asia‟s appalling dictatorships, regimes which are allies of the West, involved in torture and rendition, and was accused of threatening MI6‟s relationship with the CIA. Now a human rights activist, author and broadcaster, he outlines the dynamics of torture and the hypocrisy of incriminated Western governments.

My first public appearance for a while will be in Belfast on 1 August where I shall be giving a talk.  Long term readers of this blog will recall that, while my focus is largely on international affairs, the domestic political achievements I most hope to see are a united Ireland and an independent Scotland.

AA; Do you mean the foolishness of a dwarf star with several planets (Nibiru)?

Frankly, I think it highly likely ISON will break up into the Sun. We have no idea what that may mean. Multiple incoming CME’s? I don’t know, but it seems if it breaks up it’s transit will be in a non-earth directed location. Hope so.

“Didn’t think we had that long given all the weirdness floating about the net right now”

    There’s only

Syria causing the start of WWIII
Eurozone collapse + worldwide economic collapse
    Fukushima worldwide contamination
Bees in decline – no pollination
Monsanto poisoning everyone (and patenting what’s left)
EU legalising ‘bailins’ and taking everyone’s savings
    Climate change!
    Water shortages!
    Food shortages!
    Extinction of species
And meanwhile being spied on 100% of the time unless you avoid electronic comms and go back to snail mail, maybe carrier pigeons

+ all the things I left out.

A doddle really, if all 7 billion of us got together. Which is about as likely as me climbing Kilimanjaro next weekend.

    Ben,

    I’m not worrying about CMEs.

I’m not intending to die any time soon but after trying to debunk anything incoming I found something isn’t right in the near-earth impact risk data. Could be major. Could be a fuck-up. But the date strongly attracts my attention. NASA have either fucked up or are covering up an upcoming impact. I can’t believe I said that but did.

I’m beginning to wonder if something is coming before this year end and it isn’t ISON. Not a world ender but not pretty.

Anybody up for meeting near Glasgow central station on the 16th. Cafe Gandolfi, Albion Street, on the top floor. I could, sorry, will be there at noon.

The forthcoming peace talks, representative or not, will receive a lot of propaganda, spin, preferred preferences will be banded about globally, but facts will be hard to come by.

Those who don’t believe results are possible under these circumstances, without Marwan Barghouti being released, will be branded with the anti semitic iron.

Well, what do we think will come from these talk and will it address Palestinian demands?

I shall enjoy my coffee but whoever is near and free is welcome to join in. I’ll be on time.

    Ben

I reckon a comet would have to be Many times the size of Ison to trigger a CME.. maybe 5/6 times as large or even bigger.

Thats part of the excitement With comets. you never Know how they will turn out, unless of course we KNOW their exact trajectory – ( Shoemaker Levy Jupiter impacts )

Although i’m sure i read somewhere that ISON is classed as a SUNGRAZER.

Can’t wait to see what becomes of it all, P.s. we Know it wont hit us, can’t say the same for the Aliens due in with Nibiru Lol

Brian; Shoemaker’s largest fragment was 1.2 KM and created quite a display when it struck Jupiter.

Ison is around 3 miles wide and if it breaks up I don’t think anyone knows what will occur should it hit the Sun. Nothing like this recorded.

AA; You’re killing me but I understand.

AA; There are thousands and thousands of amateur astronomers with healthy focal-lengths.

Good point on the Russian meteor. going to the links thx

This is no joke, I don’t do things like that, I am not having anyone on.

    Strange this has come up!.

Last night I was in the North east of England, very near to Newcastle upon Tyne, just outside it, in the countryside, very little light pollution. I spent about an hour watching out for some of the Perseid meteor shower, I saw some as the night sky was very clear, a lot of stars could be seen. I saw right above me and a little to the west what looked just like one of the stars, but, it was VERY high up and moving extremely fast, far faster then any plane could go. It had no tail, it was not part of the Perseid meteor shower, it looked just like a star, it was moving south, and as I said it was VERY high up. Thought it was strange at the time. Time I saw it 1.32am, I noted the time. It was its speed that amazed me, far faster then any plane could have gone, and I mean a lot faster. Anyone know what it was ?.

    Or to simplify

There is an unresolved apparently low probability impact risk for 2007 FT3 on October 2nd. Despite this it has been removed from the upcoming Near Earth Object Tables despite meeting all parameters for inclusion and being the tenth most dangerous asteroid in the solar system. That’s weird.

    Officially “they” lost it.

  • BrianFujisan

Alcanon, brave to say that about a HUGE major event PLANED…I’ve been thinking the same thing, all this MSM Sudden shit, UFO’s Nibiru.

Someone, could it have been a low orbit Satilite, i was out in the upper clyde area at that time but caught a spectacular exploding perside just after your sighting, but looking north. some satelites are actually tumbling space junk, they seem to vanish then flare up as part of them catch the sunlight, they will have moved significantly between flares.

  • Ben Franklin -Machine Gun Preacher (unleaded version)

    AA;

No. I understand you are concerned, as am I. I left that last link only to show it may be under review. I know a lot of astronomical web pages are beholden to NASA, but the object you reference is not of small relative size such as the Russian. It’s large enough to be observed. I know powers pray for absolute control, but all those amateurs cannot be controlled. Like you I am suspicious of agendas and intuit that something is going on and an archetypal human event is overdue, just seeking answers to my mental ramblings.

  • Someone

    BrianFujisan,

It had a very stable trajectory, just like a plane would have had, I would estimated its speed as about thirty times faster then any jet plane could have done!. As you say it could have been a “low orbit Satilite”. Looked just like one of the stars.

  • AlcAnon

If someone can tell me why 2007 FT3 is not in the upcoming NASA close approach data then I’ll drop it.

  • Ben Franklin -Machine Gun Preacher (unleaded version)

Really, AA, to revisit as I ramble, this could be a budget issue for NASA, just to support a portion of your speculation. What do I mean? Quite simply they don’t have the funding to chase down the little guys.

If we can observe and record a gnat’s ass from miles-high-resolution cameras, why don’t we have the capability to observe the smaller objects? I understand there is a more complicated calculus for objects in space, but I would calculate another bean-counter failure of both civilian and governmental control without genuine oversight. So, it does make some sense. Thanks for getting me my fix for the day.

  • AlcAnon

    Ben,

The initial observation in 2007 from earth was recorded by professional astronomers and associated telescope. It should have been visible for another 2 or 2 months to the best telescopes. But wasn’t apparently.

No observations have ever been made of it by amateurs. Even during the last close approach.

    Cover up or magic?
