Blair and Kanye West are Prostitutes 2389

blairnaza

The Tony Blair House Journal (editor Alan Rusbridger) reports on Kanye West’s disgusting private performance for the Kazakh dictator and his family, and takes a sideswipe at David Cameron for visiting that country.

But peculiarly they fail to mention that Tony Blair receives US $4 million a year as a consultant to the worker murdering Kazakh dictator, and that Alistair Campbell and Jonathon Powell as well as Blair visit to give this support – which has included a behind the scenes campaign to help Nazarbaev win the Nobel Peace Prize, fortunately with no result to date.

“Thanks to those who are protesting on my behalf, but I’d rather you ignore him on my behalf.”

    He crossed the line.

  • Fred

“Yes, does get a little embarrassing when they treat his theory as something he actually meant, doesn’t it Node.”

We already knew he was a wanker.

It gets embarrassing when he tells us what he thinks about while he’s doing it.

    “He crossed the line.”

Yes, deliberately, to provoke a response.

Kempe and Dad. I must have missed something, again, so it took me a while to work it out.

It goes something like this, doesn’t it? When it comes from the mouth of Gorgeous George, “theory” means “claim”, because …well …er …cos …um …because it just does!

    Thanks for your patient clarifications.

Mackey and the rest will never understand you know because they use those new ”brain” things. Totally over-rated if you ask me.

Now I understand the concept it will make it so much easier to contribute to this blog because I surmise fish leaning logic to thought apart from table. Now we can make the rules as we go along we can all soar to new creative heights …or something.

And if I just lied I guess I’ll have to regurgitate.

So come on George, do the decent thing.

Thanks for the link, so long as it means what I think it means and not that they are rebranding “Al Nakba” as a computer game, or crispy snack. You never know until the wise ones interpret for you.

“Activities occurring throughout the Galilee region of present-day Israel have been held which reaffirm the connection of the younger generation of internally displaced Palestinians to their ancestral villages.”

    What wonderful and indomitable spirit!

“Yes, deliberately, to provoke a response.”

He should have been careful what he wished for, his wishes are about to come true.

  • A Node

Whatever, Fred. If I argue with you over this, I’ll be granting his wishes too.

When he tries to waste my time, I dedicate a pro-Palestinian quote to him. Make a positive out of a negative. Works for me.

“Make a positive out of a negative. Works for me.”

I preachered something like this over time, and gave up. Maybe if we drafted a petition we could all sign, and administer from that platform?

  • Jon

Oh dear. I make the suggestion that I’m finding it difficult to moderate, and then the really unpleasant stuff starts (e.g. suggesting that one’s debating opponent was raped as a child). With a mixture of relief and sadness, I’ve added Habbabkuk’s IP to the ban list.

I really did think that H could be persuaded to discourse with civility – he/she clearly has the intelligence for it. Thus, in some sense, I count banning him/her as something of a failure.

I appreciate this will disappoint a few people who believe that we should have a total free-for-all here. For anyone in that category, please appeal to Craig directly via the contact form (I will inform him separately anyway). Thanks.

  • Ben Franklin -Machine Gun Preacher (unleaded version)

    Jon; I believe there was never any intent to be anything other than a heckler at the Comedy Store. I have been banned from many sites for far less antagonism with the excuse of opprobrium. One guy even said I was not in violation of any site rules, but was guilty of ‘rampant douchebaggery’. {now for the uninitiated, there is a ‘leaded’ version of Ben Franklin, as rightly as any dissident Colonial should have.}

My point, Jon is continue your mellow. It’s just fine.

  • A Node

Ben: “Make a positive out of a negative.”

If something breaks I try to repair/replace it better than before. Then that breakage is responsible for an improvement in my life. It works for non-material things too.

I think Habbabkuk has the last laugh as his theory was treated as if he actually meant it as fact, but Jon won’t be informing Craig of the context and argument leading up to the offending comment – he merely wanted to get rid of Habbabkuk and found the perfect pretext.

Sad to say but Habbabkuk’s lack of technical proficiency makes it unlikely we will be seeing him again, but Eminences be aware that his spirit lives on among us. 🙂

  • Sofia Kibo Noh

    Jon.

Failure? Wasn’t it was clear all along, save for a signed admission, that H’s aim was always to disturb and distract? Allowing the process to go on was certainly revealing. No problem solver there. Thanks.

    Re link on last post,

”Groups of diverse problem solvers can outperform groups of high-ability problem solvers.

Conclusion: Identity-diverse groups can outperform homogeneous groups due to their greater functional diversity rests upon a well accepted claim that if agents across groups have equal ability, functionally diverse groups outperform homogeneous groups. It has also been shown that functionally diverse groups tend to outperform the best individual agents, provided that agents in the group are nearly as good

  • Sofia Kibo Noh

    Apologies.

I couldn’t resist copy an pasting the two sentence, 56 word Conclusion when the title says it all.

  • Jon

    Sofia,

Allowing the process to go on was certainly revealing

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before: my hands were (and still are) tied with (a) an extremely permissive set of original guidelines, (b) no answer from our host as to how the guidelines might develop in response to disruptive contributions, despite repeated attempts, and (c) pressure from a few genuine and valued posters who are opposed to any moderation.

So, I’m going out on a bit of a limb, but I think 10 months of putting up with pointless whataboutery and spite is probably enough. It’s either that, or resign both moderation and technical button-pushing, frankly.

    Anon,

I would warmly encourage your contacting Craig separately with as much context as you see fit (seriously, please do). Then my dastardly plan to get rid of someone within a few days of their disagreeing with the consensus will be foi…. oh, hang on!

    Hi Jon,
You have a thankless unpaid task in a no win situation with long hours. Er …thanks.
There isn’t one of us on this blog (or anywhere) who could do your job without upsetting as many people as we pleased.
I believe your views are somewhere around the middle of the spectrum of this board, and that you genuinely do what you consider the best for this blog. I don’t think we could ask for anything more.
Having said that, I wouldn’t blame you for washing your hands of the whole squabbling, venomous, self-righteous, bitching bunch of us. But I’d be sorry.

  • BrianFujisan

Jon I feel for your task, thank you for just being there

Macky Herbie, Fedup, Ect….Missing names Sorry, off my head we have a chance here, Jon has done the right thing..

I suspect Macky that Jon long tempered over you’re points re It..

But here is already a Sinister Post

    Read what blog lately?

Will check tomorrow ‘cos I’m off to bed.

    Goodnight All.

    @ Jon,

Q: Thus, in some sense, I count banning him/her as something of a failure.

R: I most sincerely appreciate your honesty, because your reasoning is one of finding balance in a[n] internet world where most seem to shun it. I too find banning individuals the very last resort of ‘communicating.’

When I did moderation and ppl ran amok, I warned them, then banned for a week, let them back in, warned them again, banned them for 2 weeks, etc.

That was the best compromise I could come up with to both serve justice and live with my own conscious in one body. Perhaps it’s something you can use as a template to work with as well?

This is only the 2nd web site that I’ve come across over the past decade that stands out in its search for open debate [and that is thanks to you and Craig].

Even in a jail filled with murderers, pedos will be killed on a arrival.

  • Lawrence King 007

“Even in a jail filled with murders, pedos will be killed on a arrival.”

Yes, pedophilia is still the H-bomb of neo-stalinist kompromat. That’s why Larry King was the CIA’s ultimate secret agent,

    https://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/5961874/Conspiracy_of_Silence_-_The_Franklin_Scandal_%282010%29

and that’s why the US government’s response to private spaces like Tor hidden services and cryptocat is to flood them with kiddy porn and pretend pedophiles.

[Mod: I’ve removed a comment here that made reference to a recently banned individual connected to the above. Yes, I know it wasn’t a serious allegation, but…]

  • Daniel Rich

    @Lawrence King 007,

Q: Shake a Habbakuk and Marc Dutroux falls out.

R: Thanks for a good laugh.

Yeah, I was shocked when I read what had happened to Tor [the pedo shite].

Still using it though [Tor]. Link to Tor Browwser.

”Groups of diverse problem solvers can outperform groups of high-ability problem solvers.”

The Eminences are deluding themselves if they think they are either – which is why this blog really has become next to useless.

  • resident dissident

If the references to Habba and MD are allowed to stand then they will at least demonstrate the one sided nature of moderation here and DR’s sick sense of humour.

  • Anon

Right, so just to sum up.

There was a long and rather tedious debate about whether Galloway’s “my theory is” was meant as fact or fiction, with A Node heading up the latter camp by defending Galloway’s right to make up any old bullshit provided that it is preceded by “my theory is”.

In order to make his point, but not, admittedly, in the greatest of taste, Habbabkuk wrote: “MY THEORY IS THAT A NODE WAS SODOMISED WHEN HE WAS LITTLE AND HAS NEVER GOT OVER IT.” He did, however, also say that this couldn’t be taken seriously by Node, as by his understanding, it was just a theory.

This was clearly meant to show Node that you can’t just make up anything and be excused on the basis that you say it’s only your theory.

We then had the amusement of assorted minor Eminences taking Habbabkuk’s comment as a statement of fact, rushing to Node’s defence and calling for Habbabkuk to be banned – revealing that they do, in fact, take “my theory is” to be a statement of fact. Jon banned Habbabkuk and in doing so unwittingly proved his point for him. Jon knew the context of what was being said but treated Habbabkuk’s comment as if it were entirely separate of that, allowing him to move in for a quick and easy ban.

This was all to the embarrassment of Node, who saw the trap and tried to keep everyone quiet.

Habbabkuk wins the argument, but due to some disingenuous moderation, loses his right to comment here.
