Blair and Kanye West are Prostitutes 2389

blairnaza

The Tony Blair House Journal (editor Alan Rusbridger) reports on Kanye West’s disgusting private performance for the Kazakh dictator and his family, and takes a sideswipe at David Cameron for visiting that country.

But peculiarly they fail to mention that Tony Blair receives US $4 million a year as a consultant to the worker murdering Kazakh dictator, and that Alistair Campbell and Jonathon Powell as well as Blair visit to give this support – which has included a behind the scenes campaign to help Nazarbaev win the Nobel Peace Prize, fortunately with no result to date.

“I appreciate this will disappoint a few people who believe that we should have a total free-for-all here. For anyone in that category, please appeal to Craig directly via the contact form (I will inform him separately anyway). Thanks.”

That’s me, I’m an anarchist, perhaps because I was around on usenet before web forums existed and I’ve seen both systems in action.

But anarchy isn’t about people being allowed to do as they want regardless of the harm it causes others, even anarchists have standards agreed by consensus, anarchy relies on people having a will to conform to those standards for the benefit of the community.

I’ve kept out of the constant bickering in the past on the principle I didn’t have to read it but last night a line was crossed, his comments could have caused serious hurt to anyone reading this blog who was abused as a child. It is a subject which should be debated seriously not used to score cheap points.

  • John Goss

I agree Fed. Some people see this blog as a place to make all kinds of incongruous, and often, ill thought out comments that could offend. The topic was prostitutes who sell themselves to dictatorships with nefarious human rights’ records. It is the same culprits.

  • Fred

    @Anon

You are missing the point, perhaps A Node was abused as a child, many children were.

It is highly likely somebody reading his words was abused as a child. Society failed them then at least we can support them now.

BrianFujisan : “But here is already a Sinister Post”

For sure, there is something about the night with Anon, probably connected to the fact that it appears to be a carbon-copy clone of a certain trolling clown.

    Lo & Behold ! Up pops one of the resident contrarian dissidents, to lament the passing of the infamous Clown, with the following wail;

“which is why this blog really has become next to useless”

Now will he elaborate & explain this comment, or will he revert to non-engaging Troll like status ?

    Anon: “Habbabkuk wins the argument“

Sure he does, just like all those other Losers (both senses) who had to pay-up substantial damages to Galloway for their not so sly enough smears.

Anon: “This was clearly meant to show Node that you can’t just make up anything and be excused on the basis that you say it’s only your theory.”

And Jon’s (long overdue) action is clearly meant to show everybody that there is indeed a limit to the vile & abusive vitriol you can hurl under the cover of pretending to make a point.

Re Jon’s action, rather fittingly, a quote from Galloway himself, (on the hearing of Thatcher’s demise); “Tramp the dirt down”.

  • Exexpat

    Jon,

Thank you for banning HabbabUK – should of been done a long time ago – he’s a real troublemaker here.

I really miss cryptonym – especially his writing – could he be welcomed back here?

  • Jon

Eh Juteman, give it a rest please 🙂

    Anon,

You are welcome to make an appeal to Craig, using the text of your last post. I’m afraid though that you credit me with too much – I don’t follow every debate here, nor am I aware of every news item that they are linked to. I can’t comment on Galloway’s comments, since I have not heard/read them.

I’ll render the context for you in a succinct way: after 10 months of persistent bullying, needling and disruption, Habbabkuk decides to try his/her luck with really offensive insults when he/she believed moderation to be down. I am satisfied, given the history, that the intention was to provoke conflict.

I quite understand that you don’t like the left/liberal views that are mainly held here. But it has always been the case that you (or anyone) may choose a subject that has been expressed and argue rationally against it. It is easier to dismiss the board as useless, or support Habbabkuk’s “right” to abuse his interlocutors. It is much harder to engage properly and with respect.

  • Jon

Fred/Juteman – deleted one each from you. I think the two of you have exhausted the possibility that something might actually come from debating – perhaps now is the time to politely ignore each other, and move on to other participants.

Exexpat, Cryptonym is not banned. I excised one paragraph of, in my view, racist sentiment, and he reposted it verbatim before leaving voluntarily. The repost is still available.

  • Fred

“Fred/Juteman – deleted one each from you. I think the two of you have exhausted the possibility that something might actually come from debating…”

I’d worked that one out for myself.

  • Juteman

Which post of mine did you delete Jon?
It would help me not to post similar again, if I knew what it was, as I don’t think I posted anything offensive.

  • Suhayl Saadi

Here’s a good article on the Syria situation.

In essence, my view is that since the 1973 ‘Yom Kippur’ War and the consequent oil embargo, the political classes in the USA (and UK) seem to have become dependent on the regimes of Saudi Arabia and Israel. This dependency – a supine position, really – is not in the national interests of either the USA or UK, far less that of their people. The Syrian situation perfectly encapsulates this dynamic.

  • Juteman

It’s ok Jon, I see what you have done.
You deleted my latest post listing Freds insults to me.
I assume you have deleted the original insults from Fred, or is he posting under different rules?

One might get suspicious that British Nationalists have a fee reign on here.

  • Exexpat

    @ResDis, Anon et al

If you don’t like the rules here – jog on.

be interesting to see if villager still posts… 🙂

  • mike

For what it’s worth, Habbabkuk’s role as resident contrarian could have been welcomed had he not resorted to selective engagement, and then some very personal needle to sidestep those awkward points he chose to ignore. Without contrarians, all we’ve got is an echo chamber. It’s a shame he had to go, though his latter comments clearly crossed the line. If he was a bona fide troll then inciting a full-on slanging match would have been ‘job done’ for him.

  • Krishnamurky

Word is beginning to emerge from the bowels of the Tory party that Cameron deliberately spared the whip on the Syria war vote, on account of a much bigger concern. A Syrian CW retaliation on Israel type quagmire into 2014, would have meant handing the Scottish Referendum vote to Salmond on a plate. A second vote still remains a possibility once the CW have been neutralised and a quick outcome may be guaranteed by October 2014.

[Mod: posted as Lurker, is in fact Krishnamurky]

  • Macky

“I see Fred has issued a challenge to Jons moderation policy already.”

    My personal view is that Jon/Craig should adopt in some form these guidelines from Medialens, as it seems to work very well for them;

“Incivility in any form is forbidden.

Any kind of harassment is forbidden, including overt sexism, racism, or classism, of course, but also including any kind of demeaning or otherwise hostile disrespect of others.

Hounding others is forbidden, including continually emailing or publicly posting messages trying to engage or to continue exchanges with people who have clearly indicated (publicly or privately) their desire to leave an exchange.

Likewise, questioning ideas and claims and offering varied views on matters is of course welcome, but questioning user’s private motivations is not.

We disapprove of using multiple identities or spoofing other people’s identities. If your arguments stand up, there is no need to pretend to be anyone else. We will ban anyone who ignores warnings about spoofing or trolling.

We will remove material that we consider offensive or way off-topic and we may ban repeat offenders.”

  • Anon

Despite his protestations of ignorance, Jon must surely know the point Habbabkuk was making? If not then ought he not to have investigated the matter before banning a contributor? Interesting to see that the rampantly anti-Semitic Krishnamurky is still allowed to post here, though.

  • Anon

I would suggest Jon gives Habbabkuk a second chance, and as compensation takes out the truly vile Krishnamurky. What say you, Jon?

Since al Jazzera TV started in America, we’re warned of the dangers of watching AQ propaganda. Reminded that they are two-faced, speaking with forked tongue, saying radical things on their Arabic side, while pretending to be reasonable in English.

Some of the hatred of al Jazerra is that they’re poaching employees from cheap US media; an employee who, for example, now earns $65,000 moves up to $175,000 at al Jazerra.

It is an outrage! Damn Arab capitalists, coming over here and spreading wealth around. Undermining the very fabric of society.

    Spare some compassion:

“Incivility in any form is forbidden.”

Would that include foul language and implying that other posters are liars?

If I have any reservations about the moderation on this board it’s the way threads are allowed to degenerate into exchanges of personal insults. Of course if the majority are happy with that, fine. The rest of us will just have to withdraw until the dust has settled.

As for Mr G.Galloway MP I appreciate he is a hero to many posters here and heroes can’t be seen to be fallible which I suppose is why we’ve had to resort to hair-splitting semantics to try and save his reputation. The facts remain; he said what he said then denied saying it and it doesn’t matter if he called it a theory, an assertion, a claim or a blue teapot.

If Galloway lied to parliament, and the evidence of this is readily available, why hasn’t he been banned?

A doctor in Africa once told me that some locally known parasites ejected themselves through every imaginable human orifices, if and when when their host body suddenly died.

Habbabkak has been a very distruptive influence on the blog, constantly rendering the topic of the conversation irrelevant as he threw his grenades about, to get everyone in bickering mode.

I personally never had a problem with his opinions, but the manner in which he treated those with differing opinions, including myself. He is graceless, arrogant and often vile. He will not be missed for one moment. For future reference any other Trolls that come along should be ignored, it’s amaing how quickly they get bored when nobody is feeding them.

Perhaps this will usher in a new age of netiquette on the blog.

  • Lurker

It were Rifkind who lied to Parliament, he dare not table the transcripts of the mossad “intercepts” (for his own sake, if they are as comical as the IDF/Mavi Marmara fake conversation – we are getting a taste of Comical Shlomo “spitting” at this blog too!), the Russians now have categoric proof that the Ghouta gassing was a set up after all. Which begs the question, did the mossad give the JIC proof “intercepts” to Western intelligence in real time, which means they were also in on the deception? Galloway’s theory about Chemical Bandar needs revisiting.

Craig told me that GG has lied on many occasions, one of his lies is that he once was a boxer, GG never boxed, not even for a photo·

@ Brian, Thanks for the Greg Palast video. So Larry Summers was chosen by bankers to suit their relationship and congruence with the president. Now this is a reason alone for me to warm to a new world currency, whether its based on gold or fresh potable water…;)

@Jon. You are sitting on a fence as a mod and it is swaying, whether its the wind or somebody rocking it makes a major difference, it is deliberate.
It was only a matter of time before the personalised, sometimes embarrassing, gender based guile towards Mary and others, would get your goat and I wholeheartedly agree with your decision, despite the cries of censorship, thank you.

Anon says,”I would suggest Jon gives Habbabkuk a second chance, and as compensation takes out the truly vile Krishnamurky. What say you, Jon?”

Anon, Why don’t you leave it up to Jon, he is far too busy to converse with every poster and their personal foibles.

Sofia KN, please be aware that daddy is no more, but that foul smelling dragon has taken to you and no doubt he will let you ride pillion on his tail.

@ Suahyl, absolutely agree and this relationship has festered the landscape of nationasl politics here and in the US, it has spread secrecy and snooping and financial instability, undermining society and its discourse with its representatives.

FFS what do we have FoI for? Is it a mutual relationship or a takeover of our foreign policy base? I’d opt and argue for the latter, because I have read Ian Pape’s and Avi Shlaims books. I think Israel is amidst an existential fight for its own survival, for decades it has been zionised by a right wing minority elite who has never anticipated mutuality with its neighbours, but had an agenda of land grabbing and human rights violations.

That wall must fall! It is untenable that it exists. Just as the Berlin wall was.

here are the comments from 1989, it is easy to see that Roger waters has made an artful point for jews and Palestinians to unite and take this wall down!

“In an official statement, Charlotte Knobloch, President of the General Council of Jews in Germany, observed with regret that this year, the jubilee over the fall of the wall overshadowed the remembrance of the Kristallnacht.

And in her speech before the masses in front of the Brandenburg Gate, Merkel remembered: “For Germans, November 9 is also a day of admonition. Today 71 years ago the darkest chapter of German history was opened with Kristallnacht: the systematic persecution and murder of the European Jews and many others. This too, will not be forgotten today.”

Both events, she said, show that freedom does not come by itself. “Freedom must be fought for. Freedom must be defended again and again.”

The fall of Berlin Wall, it was said many times that night, marked the beginning of a new, free and united era for Germany and Europe.

And indeed, Germany has changed. ”

Finally, I have overstepped my line twice by promising ‘it’ a bloody nose, as a reaction to personalised targeting of some good posters by ‘it’ here, I apologise for my protective outburst, as a former martial art pupil I should have known better for having to resort to such impotent measure.
