“It’s the future, Scotland is independent. Scotland’s vast wealth has been syphoned off by Salmond’s immensely rich oligarth friends. There is mass unemployment the haggis harvest has failed for the third year running, people on Leith Walk have been seen eating salad out of sheer desperation.

There are mass demonstrations in Edinburgh, Salmond has fled to England for his own safety. A group of extreme right wing fanatics from the Western Isles storm Holyrood and declare themselves the legitimate government, they are instantly recognised by France, Germany and Russia. The first thing they do is declare gaelic the official language and make smiling on Sundays illegal.

Britain has no choice but to send in troops to protect the English speaking people. Russia raises a resolution at the UN, Britain vetoes it.

    Pure fiction, but not impossible.”

Not impossible, but once you get up to speed with the complexities of the issue you will realise that the Brits would have to acknowlege the legitimacy of the new government.

You will understand if you take the trouble to read this document, http://en.wikipedia

Thanks Technicolour for the Jess Green poem which ends something like:

“Well Mr Gove, even if I’m the only one on this picket-line, I will be the one, standing in your way.”

Anybody who is a teacher, or is married to a teacher, or living with a teacher, or close to a teacher in any way, will understand exactly what she says. Gove has no idea what it’s like in inner city schools, where there is a mixed bag of potential and non-potential. Well said Jess green.

Just over one more year of him and them John. What wreckage they will leave in their wake! The trouble is that it is much harder to create or recreate something than to destroy it.

I see Poison Gove and his mates as vultures, hyenas, death watch beetles, …..

PS I heard the spiv Cameron at Dawlish calling for Three Cheers for the Orange Army!
    http://www.exeterexpressandecho.co.uk/VIDEO-8216-cheers-Orange-Army-8217-Prime-Minister/story-20913631-detail/story.html

Did he think he was back in the Ukraine with Yulia?

Incidentally, members of the viewing public would have had no idea of the number of outside contractors to whom Network Rail outsourced the £35m repairs. On the BBC News there were only references to Network Rail and interviews with their management.

  • Clark

Technicolour, thanks for the video of Jess Green.

Mary, “spiv” seems about right for Cameron; I’ve been describing him thus for a couple of years. It’s almost unbelievable that someone so close to the criminal Coulson could ever become Prime Minister. Incredible.

new avatars? how progressive is that, so ultra modern for an old thread, with the same contributors, like painting the stairwell….

    did they have a choice?

  • nevermind

Like I have no choice but to accept it. Could I not just have a erect penis as an avatar instead, you know, something upright and standing, rather than these forced page three geometrics.

What is the hidden strategy behind the widening flare-up between Russia and Britain/America?

To answer this question it might be useful to think of the durability of the secret marriage between ‘al-Qaeda’ or proxy terrorism and Western governments. Exposures of British intelligence collusion between surrogate fighters in Iraq, in Libya, in Syria and now Ukraine is well documented even in the Main Stream Media i.e in the public consciousness.

To sustain and enhance future policy of power and control enjoyed and networked by the secret activities of the surveillance state and hence governments, new Western and other leaders MUST be able to flip a switch and say because of the crisis, the dangers we face from new and unpredicted threats we need more authority, more power, more control.

And there is nothing the people can do at that point to oppose it.

    “It will be turn-key tyranny…

    Fred.

It was lazy of me using your Scottish Coup scenario to parody RD’s insistence on the legality of the present Kiev junta. But it was too good to leave disappear into the mists of blog history just yet.

    RD.

I’m still waiting to read the section of the Ukrainian constitution that confirms the legality of a foreign-backed violent overthrow of it’s elected government and I couldn’t be bothered reading through the whole Wikipedia entry just to find what everyone knows isn’t there.

Is this really what a legal transition of power looks like? Feb 22nd outside the Ukrainian parliament building.

Imagine a similar scene outside the Houses of Parliament.

The deed has probably been done by now as the piece in EI below was published yesterday.

Beware Ruth Smeeth who is being considered for selection as a parliamentary candidate by Stoke North Labour party.

She has previous history as a Zionist supporter working for BICOM.

    Missing Malayan Airlines plane:

The media have just reported that a Chinese search vessel has picked up a “signal” in the southern Indian Ocean.

If this signal is confirmed as coming from the missing plane’s black box then that would seem to prove that all this talk about the involvement of the Yanks and Diego Garcia (relayed even here on this blog!) has been absolute BOLLOCKS.

(Unless, of course, someone will claim that the Yanks took the black box from the plane and dropped it there as a diversion. Ho hum…..please prove me wrong…:) )

“Tory-in-disguise Lord Warner has confirmed what campaigners knew all along – the plan to end our NHS as a service free at the point of use

So now we know the latest steps being proposed to make the NHS into a full-blown private health service, just like it was before 1948.”
    ______________________

May I point out, most respectfully, that whoever posted the above appears to be making an amalgam of two rather separate things.

A health service which is not free at the point of use – the model used in every western European country, as far as I know – is not the same thing at all as a “full-blown (or even partly-blown) private health service” and it is moreover dishonest as well as scare-mongering to claim that the first will ineluctably lead to the second.

Furthermore, it is historically wrong to claim that healthcare before 1948 was exclusively “fully-blown private”. Has the writer of that egregious claim ever heard, for instance, of ‘panel doctors’?

  • Habbabkuk (La vita è bella) !

Hi Mary, nice to hear from you again. A little belatedly, have a great weekend and try not to worry too much about things. After all, for fortunate people like you and I (and, probably, most of the other regular contributors), la vita è veramente bella!

  • Habbabkuk (La vita è bella) !

I think that should have read “for fortunate people like you and me”, shouldn’t it?

“A health service which is not free at the point of use – the model used in every western European country, as far as I know”

and which has been demonstrated to be *not as good* as our NHS model. Very happy to keep posting this authoritative link:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/8877412/NHS-among-best-health-care-systems-in-the-world.html

“The success of the NHS stands out despite the fact that per capita health spending in the UK is the third lowest of the 11, at £2,170 per head, compared with £3,200 in Switzerland and £4,950 in the US”

As for moving towards full privatisation: in the two years since that report £11bn worth of our NHS has been put up for sale, while 35,000 staff have been axed, including 5,600 nurses. Half of our 600 ambulance stations are earmarked for closure. One-third of NHS walk-in centres have been closed and 10% of A&E units have been shut.

“We are inexorably moving toward a system ruled by bogus choice, competition, market forces and diversity of suppliers. By opening every NHS corner to “any qualified provider”, the whole service can be taken over by private companies, with a few token charities and mutuals. NHS hospitals, faced with the consequences of cherry-picking by private consortia, risk bankruptcy when left to deal only with complex cases”

The writer has 35 years experience of working in the NHS, from a junior doctor to a GP, and then chair of a Primary Care Trust and is now deputy chair of the BMA council.

So why should we listen to you, Habbakuk? That’s a rhetorical question, by the way.

Are you still denying that Yanukovych invited Russian troops into the Crimea?

Yes and all the lies spawned from this deception A Node. No wonder he supports the false government in Kiev. No wonder he supports the false flags. Everything about him is false as far as I can see.
