One of my oldest and dearest friends has gone public on his support for Scottish Independence. I am greatly cheered by this. More thoughts later.

“Many unanswered questions. Perhaps independence will re-open the file.”
I doubt it. This one is deep-rooted in the Scottish establishment. These dark forces are north of the border. Independence will lock the door with them on the inside ……..
The video the Yanks don’t want you to see. Made by the good US citizens.
Einstein said something to the effect that “the man who marches to the tune of military bands falls below my contempt. His great brain was given him by mistake, the spinal cord would have been sufficient.” At the beginning and end of this video Henry Kissinger is quoted as saying something similar.

“Thanks, Fred, very interesting”
Robert Green’s blog makes interesting reading too.

“they just attack the person with snide insults like calling us a low-life.”
And how else do you think your unsubstantiated comments on Robertson should be interpreted? Even he is entitled to be defended when he is smeared.
‘It should also be noted that an element of pay-at-the-point-of-use in fact already operates in the UK – when you take your prescription to the pharmacy.’ Habbabkuk
No mention there of the exemptions.
‘You can get free NHS prescriptions if, at the time the prescription is dispensed, you:
•are 60 or over
•are under 16
•are 16-18 and in full-time education
•are pregnant or have had a baby in the previous 12 months and have a valid maternity exemption certificate (MatEx)
•have a specified medical condition and have a valid medical exemption certificate (MedEx)
•have a continuing physical disability that prevents you from going out without help from another person and have a valid MedEx
•hold a valid war pension exemption certificate and the prescription is for your accepted disability
•are an NHS inpatient
You are also entitled to free prescriptions if you or your partner (including civil partners) are named on, or are entitled to, an NHS tax credit exemption certificate or a valid HC2 certificate (full help with health costs), or you receive either:
•Income Support
•Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
•Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, or
•Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
•Universal Credit

According to the BBC 6pm news, Mrs Miller feels she has let her constituents down and is ‘devastated at what has happened’. SO ARE THE TAXPAYERS!
ESLO (or whoever) you called me a low-life. I did not call George Robertson a paedophile. There is a big difference! I doubt you are capable of seeing the difference.
“Robert Green’s blog makes interesting reading too.”
Thanks again. I’ve been following poor Hollie’s story for a long time, but I wasn’t aware that Green had been arrested again. The poor guy is just a journalist who investigated a story about abuse, then had his life ruined for refusing to abandon the victims. Green should be honoured rather than persecuted.
The same names and societies crop up, the same silencing tactics. It’s a testament to the full spectrum power of our controllers that this story is better known in the rest of the world than in the UK.

…. live in Scotland
Or Wales
‘ ‘ ‘ if you’re under or over a certain age.
But what you say is right Mary. We used to have a national health service that was free and for the benefit of all. Along came Milton Friedman and we have to pay through the nose for everything, health and education, which ought to be free, included.

I’m fully aware of the exemptions, Mary. And you may recall that I’ve already mentioned that the Continental healthcare systems (which involve an element of “pay at the point of use”)also provide for exemptions for low-income/disadvantages users.
You should read carefully before knee-jerking.
Unbelievable.
Stop calling Tony Blair a war criminal. The left should be proud of his record
From Northern Ireland to the NHS, Blair left a real progressive blueprint. But the left has allowed it to be obliterated by Iraq

Make up your mind, Mr Goss. Is the NHS free at the point of use – as your fellow-Eminences have been bellowing on this thread in defence of the current financing model – or is it not?
Never let the truth get in the way of a good rant, eh?

“…the Russians could possibly be driving things behind the scenes…”
So they could.
If they are, then we have a chance to observe how it goes for the poeple stuck in the middle of it all.
How about we keep count as this episode of interference in Eastern Ukraine unfolds. of the amount of high explosives detonated and the body count These are measurable and would provide a good indication of the level of flesh and blood human distress among the people who are on the receiving end.
Week by week we can compare it with the same indicators in places, like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, all of which have received the benefit of good, up front, Western interference.
I doubt it would take long to get a good idea of who you would choose to be interfering if the place you, your family and friends lived in was to be subject to foreign interference.

Deplorable slackness on your part.

La vita è bella, Zoe’s a nice name!
We never used to have to pay for prescriptions. It’s the drug companies to blame. They believe in profit. They live by profit.

Nor might it take long to get a good idea of where you choose to live even under foreign interference.
As a matter of interest, where have you chosen to live? Any plans to emigrate any time soon? 🙂 LOL
Any intention of leaving that fascist hell-hole under American interference, otherwise known as the UK?
LOL
Better to shut your trap and count your (undeserved) blessings.
Mr Goss

Could you – or anyone else – just remind us all when prescription charges were first introduced and by whom?
Mr Goss
Anyway, I’m sure you can afford to pay them. Or would you prefer to be a freeloader, consuming public funds would would be better spent on people in real need? If son you’re a hypocrite.
Go on two demonstrations or sit-ins less a year and I’m sure your finances won’t even feel the prescription charges for a whole year.
I see someone clocked on rather late tonight. What time is it in Warsaw?
Maria Miller’s PPS.
Note the CV. Accenture and ABN Amro the Dutch bank whose takeover brought down HBOS. I see she got a job in the transition. Oh and some royal connections and military ones too. Smooth operator.

Kwame Ture, formerly known as Stokely Carmichael:
“…a man is poor for one reason and one reason only: ’cause he does not have money – period. If you want to get rid of poverty, you give people money – period.
And you ought not to tell me about people who don’t work, and you can’t give people money without working, ’cause if that were true, you’d have to start stopping Rockefeller, Bobby Kennedy, Lyndon Baines Johnson, Lady Bird Johnson, the whole of Standard Oil, the Gulf Corp, all of them, (applause) including probably a large number of the Board of Trustees of this university. Yes, and Crawford will defend hisself by informing all of his duplicitous nature, as soon as he retires.
“We never used to have to pay for prescriptions.”
Since 1952 there have only been three years, 1965 to 1968, when prescriptions were free.

Which makes it so much better than the US. Exemptions for cancer is a big one. Be grateful for what you have.
