I had fairly well concluded that the most likely cause was a fire disrupting the electrical and control systems, when CNN now say the sharp left turn was pre-programmed 12 minutes before sign off from Malaysian Air Traffic control, which was followed fairly quickly by that left turn.
CNN claim to have this from an US official, from data sent back before the reporting systems went off. It is hard to know what to make of it: obviously there are large economic interests that much prefer blame to lie with the pilots rather than the aircraft. But if it is true then the move was not a response to an emergency. (CNN went on to say the pilot could have programmed in the course change as a contingency in case of an emergency. That made no sense to me at all – does it to anyone else?)
I still find it extremely unlikely that the plane landed or crashed on land I cannot believe it could evade military detection as it flew over a highly militarized region. Somewhere there is debris on the ocean. There have been previous pilot suicides that took the plane with them; but the long detour first seems very strange and I do not believe is precedented. However if the CNN information on pre-programming is correct, and given it was the co-pilot who signed off to air traffic control, it is hard to look beyond the pilots as those responsible for whatever did happen. In fact, on consideration, the most improbable thing is that information CNN are reporting from the US official.

August 30 was a big day for news in Algeria.
Any news for the missing bodies from flight UKL4061
and if the Antonov had any black boxes
this “incident” is turning into a real mystery?
aircraft movements increase over Wales in security build up for this weeks Newport “chats”
http://rt.com/uk/184404-nato-summit-military-wales/
Still not a single mention of Flight UKL4061 on the BBC,
yet this aircraft took off from Glasgow-Prestwick?
Heh, let’s try a Glasgow based newspaper, perhaps they’d have a clue
Glasgow Herald
Some articles may have been removed, for legal or other reasons.

An interesting question for the Algerians.
Why did they wait for more than twenty four hours before starting the search,
ten miles from the airport, three minutes after take off, why not drive a four wheel truck over straight away, there could have been survivors?
Maybe that plane offloaded in Algeria, MN.

Americans are worried about another 9/11 by Islamists using missing aircraft in Libya

The French Government have Uranium mines on the edge of the Sahara Desert, in Niger, close to the borders of Algeria.
This is a Tuareg area, part of the reasoning for the Tuareg rebellion is lack of involvement, jobs or other local benefits from this foreign Uranium mining, in their area.
http://www.france24.com/en/20140903-us-extends-niger-drone-capabilities-cooperation-with-france/
The Americans and the French are to operate DRONES from Agadez airfield in Niger, not far from the French Government Uranium mines and not far from the Islamists, this follows on from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Serval
The French Operation Serval
All hotting up in The Sahel
The Sahel is the area in which mystery plane crashes are happening?
Battle of Agadez and Arlit May 2013
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Agadez_and_Arlit
“All the Uranium ore from Niger is now processed and transported by a French company Areva NC, a holding of the Areva group, itself a state owned operation of the French,
Areva alone employs 1600 foreign nationals on the site”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arlit
“The system of French nuclear power generation,
as well as the French nuclear weapons program,
is dependent on uranium mined at Arlit”
So Uranium mining in Niger is of critical importance to The French State.
The French State owns more than 90% of the Nuclear industry in France.
Most of the electricity in France is produced by Nuclear Power.
France is on the top table because it is a nuclear power.
Without the Uranium production in Niger the French State would quickly fall into a black hole of irrelevance!
I think we may begin to see reasons why the BBC has not mentioned
the Ukranian aircraft Flight UKL4061
Which left Glasgow-Prestwick and crashed on the Southern Algerian border,
early in the morning last Saturday.
There are massive implications for the French both economic and political,
if this area becomes another Caliphate.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but that appears to be an unmarked Boeing C-17 Globemaster at Prestwick Airport. The Globemaster is seeing a lot of use these days.

AREVA, you say, Michael Norton? Since many older aircraft of the same era as the crashed Antonov were made with depleted uranium ballast, and oil drilling equipment may also contain depleted uranium, your mention of uranium is timely.
Drones, you say? Now back over to the al-Hilli thread.
More on the situation of uranium mining by AREVA in Niger, and its lasting impact on the Tuareg people:
http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/uranium-mining-in-niger-tuareg-activist-takes-on-french-nuclear-company-a-686774.html
It is hard to differentiate AREVA’s and the French government’s interests in Niger. Yellowcake from the mines is processed in Niger and shipped to Marseille to power French nuclear reactors. Health impacts from the dust created by yellowcake production is at the heart of the matter. AREVA is blamed.
Q 4 Sep – 4:02 am
Very shocking indeed,
I didn’t know about the French Uranium mines run for the benefit of The French in this area, I guess most people don’t think where it comes from or that it is such a massive extraction leaving a horrible environment, ghastly and very sad.

“Stolen Libyan jets feared to have been taken by extremists for major terrorist plot”
By the end of this week we should be told by the Netherlands Investigators
what happened to the Malaysian aircraft that crashed in Ukraine
http://rt.com/news/184592-mh17-preliminary-report-crash/
My guess would be shot down by Kiev fighter plane
I’ve just emailed The Daily Mail to ask why the news lock down on
the Ukraine Antonov UR-DWF
which took off from Glasgow-Prestwick as Flight UKL4061
so far it has been reported than only three bodies have been found, who has the rest?
http://farnborough.proboards.com/thread/16819
Thanks, Michael Norton. If UKL4061 UR-DWF was on contract to Meridian, this explains why it does not show as part of Meridian’s fleet:
http://www.meridian.aero/Fleet
It does not show on Aero Charter’s fleet, either, so it must be part of “Additional Aircraft Available”:
http://www.aerocharter.com/fleet.htm
This old smoker really did fly “under the radar”, making one wonder why. Where is James when talk turns to flight levels? FL190, above the cloud, James.
How did it disintegrate so completely: shot down from the ground, or by drone? From your link:
http://i58.tinypic.com/2roonb5.jpg
It’s surprising they could find any remains.
James, what do you think of these weather conditions:
01:30 UTC / 02:30 local time:
DAAT 300130Z 04005KT CAVOK 25/05 Q1017
Wind from 040 degrees at 5 knots; no cloud below 5,000 ft and visibility of 10+ km; Temperature: 25°C, dew point: 5°C, pressure 1017 mb
02:00 UTC / 03:00 local time:
DAAT 300200Z 03006KT CAVOK 25/05 Q1017
Wind from 030 degrees at 6 knots; no cloud below 5,000 ft and visibility of 10+ km; Temperature: 25°C, dew point: 5°C, pressure 1017 mb
From MN’s links: http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20140830-0
Speaking of weather, you mentioned the Sahel, MN.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahel
Drought and famine have plagued the area for centuries, with worsening crises in 2010 and 2012. The Sudan is on the southern border of this region. See the al-Hilli thread for references to one of the kidnapped AREVA workers with a “past” in the Sudan.
But wait, there’s someone else with a “past” in Serbia from the same incident in Mali:
“Serge Lazarevic est un ex-militaire, reconverti dans la sécurité. En 1999, en Serbie, son nom apparaît dans une procédure judiciaire ouverte après une tentative d’assassinat contre Slobodan Milosevic. Ses proches démentent formellement cette version : Serge Lazarevic, qui travaillait dans le bâtiment, se serait rendu au Mali pour étudier la faisabilité d’un projet de construction de cimenterie à Hombori, la ville où il a été enlevé.”
http://quoi.info/actualite-international/2012/03/20/mali-qui-sont-les-otages-francais-aqmi-philippe-verdon-1134279/
Still three bodies found, with four missing from UKL4061 UR-DWF? Anything or anyone offloaded during one of the stops along the way?
As for the crash in the “mountains”, that area looks pretty flat.
I don’t know if this is related to the downing of UKL4061 UR-DWF and certain media blackouts, but it does deal with Saddam and the yellowcake (see al-Hilli thread), and Serbia. Deny, delay, deceive. Is all that yellowcake being used to power nuclear power stations?
Warning: photos may be disturbing.

Obviously, there is some reason this incident is being handled the way it is. Extraordinary rendition, or something else?
Covering another commonality with the al-Hilli thread, Romania is also connected to rendition:
http://www.firmmagazine.com/prestwick-airport-crucial-staging-post-in-rendition-and-torture/
The cargo plane shown is easy to adapt for this use.
Also out of Prestwick on cargo planes:

Diego Garcia mentioned.
The West seems to be getting very friendly with the rather dubious Kiev Regime.
I wonder if people are rendered (on the qt) from Ukraine via Glasgow-Prestwick to The Sahel?
If the Algerians / French locate the BLACK BOXES from Flight UKL4061
is it correct protocol that the BLACK BOXES are re-located to the United Kingdom,
because this is where the flight apparently came from,
hence UKL4061 ?
As the Antonov flew out of Glasgow-Prestwick as Flight UKL4061
it would seem likely that the BLACK BOXES will be decoded in the United Kingdom.
I think only the U.K. and France have these facilities in Western Europe.
If this is to be the case that Farnborough take charge,
( as they did with the downed Malaysia aircraft from Ukraine)
is it not strange that the BBC has not mentioned UK4061?
http://www.rantonuk.org.uk/mh17-flight-recorder-details-will-be-a-whitewash/
The black box belongs to the country of registry, according to ICAO rules:
http://www2.nst.com.my/nation/general/black-box-belongs-to-malaysia-says-icao-1.567337
However, given the state of affairs in the Ukraine at the moment, will they send this elsewhere for analysis, or not? If that plane was involved in something off the record, I doubt it.
This came out a couple of days ago:

I don’t believe James Thompson was a dentist, MN, but past discussions here focused on the possibility of his occupation being a cover for work as an intelligence agent of some kind:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/10963697/French-to-request-US-exhumation-in-al-Hilli-murder-case.html
“Kelly Green Card” found Saad al-Hilli soon after, although I have not seen any documents pertaining to the divorce.
Poison darts are not a normal way to die within hours of the death of one’s former wife of convenience, are they? Aren’t poison darts more of a spy thing? Where the truth is, nobody knows. And so it increases the likelihood of the entire Chevaline affair being an espionage matter after all.
The families of all of these people seem content to let secrets lie.
How can a Boeing 777 vanish into thin air? This small plane did not go unnoticed.

Well if he was a dentist ( very high earner in the U.S.A.)
if he was not a dentist,
a point is, are the Daily Mail being deliberately STUPID
or are they being fed untruths
or do they think they know what’s wot and are just joshing with their readers?
But how could Jimmy not be given an autopsy and a coroners court case?
