Disappearing Aircraft 5653

I had fairly well concluded that the most likely cause was a fire disrupting the electrical and control systems, when CNN now say the sharp left turn was pre-programmed 12 minutes before sign off from Malaysian Air Traffic control, which was followed fairly quickly by that left turn.

CNN claim to have this from an US official, from data sent back before the reporting systems went off.  It is hard to know what to make of it: obviously there are large economic interests that much prefer blame to lie with the pilots rather than the aircraft.  But if it is true then the move was not a response to an emergency.  (CNN went on to say the pilot could have programmed in the course change as a contingency in case of an emergency.  That made no sense to me at all – does it to anyone else?)

I still find it extremely unlikely that the plane landed or crashed on land  I cannot believe it could evade military detection as it flew over a highly militarized region.  Somewhere there is debris on the ocean.  There have been previous pilot suicides that took the plane with them; but the long detour first seems very strange and I do not believe is precedented.  However if the CNN information on pre-programming is correct, and given it was the co-pilot who signed off to air traffic control, it is hard to look beyond the pilots as those responsible for whatever did happen.  In fact, on consideration, the most improbable thing is that information CNN are reporting from the US official.

    A few questions….http://projectcamelotportal.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=31&Itemid=218

Given that the military exercise covers an area where there is heavy civilian air traffic, what precautions were made to avoid any mistakes such as miscommunications, misidentifications of aircrafts from those taking part in the said exercise?

What security protocols were put in place to ensure that no third parties (persons and or entities) would under the cover of the exercises mount hostile operations?

Immediately upon the announcement of the “disappearance” of MH 370 (and the subsequent 5 hours of continuous flight as advanced by the experts in the Investigation Team), were the participating countries’ military assets involved in the said military exercises deployed to search for MH 370 which was within the airspace of the designated military exercises?. If not, why not?

It was announced that Malaysia’s military personnel sought verification of their identification of an aircraft (which at the material time was not confirmed as MH 370) which was picked up by military radar. Was the verification sought from any of the participating countries’ military assets involved in the said military exercises? If so, what were their responses?

MH 370 having “disappeared” for more than three days, did the ongoing military exercises hinder the SAR mission, or did the military assets in place assisted in the SAR mission? If not, why not?

Gosh there’s a lot here, far too much for me to catch up on in the time available.

I have however got a newer theory on motive.
I do think it highly possible those employees of Freescale are important to the investigation.
The reason I think this is that possibly their work could relate to something I’ve been reading about for months…. Thorium produced energy, energy is the most pressing matter of our age & finding a sustainable energy is worth trillions.
This breakthrough would be more valuable than gold & makes oil , tracking & wind farms look dirty, archaic & amateurish.

Blackstone were once proud of their green technology but now they have also moved into technology & research, Rolls Royce are also researching Thorium.
The Chinese are the closest though.

A group of 140 PhD scientists, working full-time on thorium power at the Shanghai Institute of Nuclear and Applied Physics, is getting close to creating a new generation of thorium reactors that produce much less toxic waste and don’t blow their top like Japan’s Fukushima.

The Telegraph reports the team, spearheaded by Jiang Mianheng who is the son of former leader Jiang Zemin, claims they will be able to help China break free of the archaic pressurized-water reactors fuelled by uranium in a matter of years. And they’ve got $350 million so far to make it happen.

“China is the country to watch,” Baroness Bryony Worthington, head of the All-Parliamentary Group on Thorium Energy, was quoted as saying.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment/ambroseevans_pritchard/9784044/China-blazes-trail-for-clean-nuclear-power-from-thorium.html

Imagine a car with a Thorium battery, your house or even your computer. This is a massive project & a number of countries are rushing to be the first.

This is not new technology, it was shelved in the 70’s because of oil & Thorium reactors didn’t produce weapons grade uranium meaning not enough money could be made from it , plus there was a cold war at the time.

    http://www.laserpowersystems.com/go-thorium/china

I cannot track down who the backers of LPS are………Bluebird….any chance you can ?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorium-based_nuclear_power

‘The key energy source is a mildly radioactive metal, and one of the most dense materials known in nature, thorium. The thorium would be used to power a laser, which would then heat water, creating steam that turned a small turbine and propelled the car.’

    Read more: http://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/cadillac-concept-powered-thorium-lasers-can-last-100-years/#ixzz2xuAHJHEI

  • katie

Thanks BB, yes I know about him, but he needs backers , I can’t believe he could afford the research without if only I could find a connection with Freescale.

Yes you have also posted on the same thing about the car,Thorium plasma batteries
Thorium is at last being discussed more & more…….. I think I’ve probably read most links you will find as I’ve been talking & blogging about it for 2 years..

The connection to MH370 is clear, there were Chinese scientists on board, they are connected to companies like Blackstone who had been backing green energy like wind farms.
Power of the future is not about bombs & bullets but energy in all forms.

Imagine the fallout in the states if oil becomes redundant ?
The US cannot afford the Chinese to get to the science of Thorium energy , they stopped it once before, in fact they are to blame for us being beholden to the ME !

Turning off power [ like Putin is wanting to do to Ukraine ] can reduce a country to poverty in a matter of days, what better way to gain power ?

If you read the Telegraph article ,did you notice Areva was mentioned ?

  • bluebird

    Katie

Of course, if thorium works then the world will break apart.
All Arab states as well as Iran and Russia depend on gas and oil.

Depending on who will hold the patent for the thorium engine, that country will become wealthy with an energy monopoly.

Besides that, energy consumpting people like USA, China, Japan and the EU will profit.

However, oil and gas companies are powerful inside the usa and the eu, too. We are once again in a war that isnt defined by borders, religions or folks but by economic interests.
That is USA vs USA and EU vs EU and russia vs everybody and arab states/islam versus everybody else and even china versus china.

Unfortunately i dont know about who is backing stevens but my bet would be on soros.

  • katie

    Spot on BB.

But what of the Rothschild foundation, they can match anything Soros does ?

The big mystery to those who are unaware, should be, why this research was repressed years ago ,it would have a voided so much angst !

Thorium was well known & even used in our old gas mantles, no one ever queried radiation in them.

This could be useful for some to know.

Charles Stevens invented Thorium bitcoins ….
    http://www.pozible.com/project/179046

This is one of Steven’s “partners” but it looks as if it is Stevens himself. He designed that shit website that is more empty than informative.
    http://redhawkmetals.com/

Their strategic “partner” Red Hawk Metals (Stevens partners Stevens)
    http://www.statenewswire.net/2011/04/ct-based-laser-power-systems-and-their-strategic-a/

A little more info regarding funds in Thorium industry without mentioning Stevens:
    http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2011/11/18/molycorps-1-billion-rare-earth-gamble/

Katie, i cannot help but i strongly guess that stevens is an imposter and perhaps even a crook who uses thorium and paid press releases for collecting funds.
As much the thorium science is popular in china, i dont believe that stevens does anything but making some money from naive people. Perhaps i am wrong but that is my strong guess. He travels the thorium train economy class and hopes for making money from people who pay him with the thorium bitcoins. My suspicion started with Red Hawk Metals as his “partner” but it got a kick with the thorium bitcoins.
Why should such an important scientist have the time to design the website of his “partner company” ?? BS!

Your well of humour has certainly run dry Katie
    3 Apr, 2014 – 8:36 am.

However I find it slightly interesting that you have to speak for “Donald”. Perhaps you feel very maternally protective of him and he’s rather shy?

The other slightly interesting thing (sorry to be so boringly repetitive – I blame my teachers) is that you you didn’t reply, even if the question wasn’t addressed to you, “Ben who?” I guess we’ve all been at those social occasions when a reply pops up from a totally unexpected quarter with an assumption that suggests either intuition or obsession, yet turns out to be the wrong topic altogether.

Thanks for trying to help out though.

  • Tim V

    Donald
3 Apr, 2014 – 2:10 pm many thanks for replying. (Scanning backwards just spotted it) No point saying “Och aye the noo” then I suppose? Suggest you put Katie in the picture as to whether you knew Ben or not. LOL

    Here’s yet another take;

The Americans are withdrawing from Afghanistan; one of their command and
control systems (used for controlling pilotless drones) was hijacked by the
Taliban when an American transport convoy was moving down from one of the
hill-top bases. The Taliban ambushed the convoy and killed 2 American Seal
personnel, seized the equipment/weapons, including the command and control
system which weighed about 20 tons and packed into 6 crates. This happened
about a month ago in Feb 2014.

What the Taliban wants is money. They want to sell the system to the
Russians or the Chinese. The Russians are too busy in Ukraine. The Chinese
are hungry for the system’s technology. Just imagine if the Chinese master
the technology behind the command and control system, all the American
drones will become useless. So the Chinese sent 8 top defense scientists to
check the system and agreed to pay millions for it.

Sometime in early Mar 2014 the 8 scientists and the 6 crates made their way
to Malaysia thinking that it was the best covert way to avoid detection. The
cargo was then kept in the Embassy under diplomatic protection. Meanwhile
the Americans have engaged the assistance of Israeli intelligence and
together they are determined to intercept and recapture the cargo.

The Chinese calculated that it would be safer to transport it via civilian
aircraft so as to avoid suspicion. After all the direct flight from KL to
Beijing takes only 4 and half hours and the Americans will not hijack or
harm a civilian airliner. So MH370 is the perfect carrier.

There were 5 American and Israeli agents onboard who were familiar with
Boeing aircraft operation. The 2 “Iranians” with stolen passports could be
    among them.

When MH370 was about to leave Malaysian air space and report in to
Vietnamese air control an American AWAC jammed their signal, disabled the
pilot control system and switched over to remote control mode. That was when
    the plane lost altitude momentarily.

How the AWAC can do it ? Remember 911 incident ? After the 911 incident all
Boeing aircraft (and possibly all Airbus) are installed with a remote
control system to counter terrorist hijacking. Since then all Boeing
aircraft can be remote controlled by a ground control tower. The same remote
control system used to control the pilotless spy aircraft and drones.

The 5 American/Israeli agents soon took over the plane, switched off the
transponder and other communication systems, changed course and flew
westwards. They dared not fly east to Philippines or Guam because the whole
South China Sea air space was covered by Chinese surveillance radar and
    satellites.

The Malaysian, Thai and Indian military radar actually detected the
unidentified aircraft but none reacted professionally.

The plane flew over North Sumatra, Anambas, South India and landed at the
Maldives (some villagers saw the aircraft landing), refuelled and continued
its flight to Diego Garcia, the American Air Base in the middle of Indian
Ocean. The cargo and the black box were removed. The passengers were
silenced by natural means, lack of oxygen. MH370 with dead passengers took
off again using remote control and crashed into South Indian Ocean to make
it look that the plane eventually ran out of fuel and crashed.

The Americans have put up a good show. First diverting all the attention and
search effort to the South China Sea while the plane made its way to the
Indian Ocean. Then they came out with some conflicting statements and
    evidence to confuse everyone.

The amount of effort put up by China, in terms of the number of search
aircraft, ships and satellites, searching first the South China Sea, then
the Malacca Straits and the Indian Ocean is unprecedented. This shows that
China is very concerned, not so much because of the many Chinese civilian
passengers, but mainly for the high value cargo and the 8 defense
    scientists.

    (h/t Medialens)

  • katie

Interesting post Macky, but I think you will see by the timings that plane was seen over the Maldives cannot be the inward journey.

The Maldives are 3 hours behind Malaysia….that of course does not mean it did not arrive during the night & in fact that sighting was after take off.

    BB
    I have no idea if he is not THE Dr Charles Stevens, but his partner & President is Rick Varnum who looks genuine, he seems to have some good contacts & all PhD’s;

    http://www.laserpowersystems.com/contact

However, this does not change the gist of my presentation re;the Chinese & Thorium research.

I t would appear Freescale is at present involved with Marvell Semiconductors which is run & was founded by a Chinese woman & family.

‘Freescale is being sued by Marvell Semiconductor for infringing seven patents held by Marvell. The case is being litigated in the US District Court for the West District of Texas.[24] Freescale recently lost a patent infringement lawsuit filed by Tessera Corporation and was forced to pay an undisclosed amount as part of the settlement.[25] Freescale is also being sued by Vantage Point Technology, Inc. for patent infringement in Texas Eastern District.[26]

    Marvell;
    The investigation focuses on
whether a series of statements made between May 25, 2011 and August 23, 2011,
inclusive, regarding Freescale’s business, its prospects and its operations
were materially false and misleading at the time they were made. Specifically,
the investigation seeks to determine whether, at the time of the Company’s May
25^th initial public offering, Freescale was experiencing artificially strong
demand for its automotive and industrial products as a result of the
earthquake that hit Japan in March 2011.’

    Marvells founder;

Weili Dai arrived in Silicon Valley from China at age 17 in 1978, coming of age at the same time as the U.S. tech hub. She moved in with her grandparents before going on to study at the University of California at Berkeley.
Today Marvell Technology, the semiconductor design company she went on to cofound 15 years ago with her Indonesian-Chinese husband and his brother, employs 5,000 worldwide and trades on the Nasdaq with an $11 billion market cap. The trio donated the funds for a building named after them at Berkeley.

Yet she’s not done. She is intent on bringing U.S. business to China–foremost Marvell, which has a staff of 800 on the mainland to get its chips into the world’s biggest mobile-phone market.’

Freescale has also been served by Computer Sciences Corp. This is a breach of contract case and it is being litigated in the Texas Western District under Sam Sparks.’

Apologies if this has already been mentioned.

  • katie

    To you Ben ?

Timbo seems too have forgotten he asked that question as he queried my reply .
    I am just reminding him.

Nothing for you to worry about. 😉

  • Ben-Scot NON-collaborator

    Thx Katie, but I think I should respond;

I have no idea who any of you folks are, but I would be happy to share a pint with you. I’m Irish/Scot/German/Blackfoot/Cherokee who happens to live in the US. Left-wing with no religious affiliations. I understand the difference between Judaism and Zionism, and am not afraid to criticize Israel when they enable Zionism, but I don’t think that makes me anti-semitic. Ok?

  • katie

Ben I agree , I too would be happy to share, not a pint, a glass of vin rouge with you too………the antisemitic comment was aimed at Sorrensen, who tries to blame everything on Jews.

I have no problem with other peoples views on Israel, religion or politics, I just wish them to be stated politely.

I knew you would not know Donald & have no idea why TV asked.

A Pity Jon is not around because those comments from Sorrensen & the unnecessary bad language are still there.

  • Marlin

katie, 11:38am “Turning off power [ like Putin is wanting to do to Ukraine ]”

A rather gratuitous statement, don’t you think? Russia is not threatening any energy turn-off for the Ukraine. Rather they want to get paid at market rate for their gas, there being no reason to renew the extremely generous subsidy they provided to Ukraine earlier, before the regime change operation, funded and executed by US necons toppled the democratically elected government. Since Ukraine is edging closer to nato and are getting all these loans from the IMF, the Western regime-changing parties (who are reputed to have plunked down over $5B to get the “Ngo” rackets going) can presumably afford to pay market rates. for Nuland + hubby Kagan + supporting neocons, this should be pocket change.

In any case, once the chocolate oligarch is elected as president, all will be well, surely. He and the other hand-picked oligarchs should be able to make good deals with the western oligarchs, like Koch brothers and whoever are currently running certain too-big-to-fails.
OTOH, you may want to look into the Ukraine post office refusing to deliver any mail to the Crimea. OH well.

Katie @4:57pm – the Maldives sighting has been far from discredited, time difference notwithstanding. You might want to look into that again (not that any reporters did).

  • Marlin

Macky, interesting theory. the plane diversion to DG has indeed been suggested – and is, I believe the current leading theory among the almost and already-there ‘conspiracy” buffs (where I define “conspiracy” as anything carried out at the instigation of the PTB and/or which the PTB are keen to cover up).

As to the motive, I kind of doubt that any equipment obtained in Afganistan by eg, the Taliban, would require such an elaborate diversion through Malaysia. I kind of had the same objection to BB’s idea regarding the gold cargo.

Also, so far, from everything I’ve been reading on Freescale there just doesn’t seem to be a smoking gun pointing to their employees as the reason for the plane’s hijacking. Of course, there may be reasons but nothing obvious that can be publicly viewed. That patent being discussed is, BTW, a patent application at this stage, meaning that until the patent is granted, we don’t know which claims will be awarded anyways. I saw nothing in it that would require an elaborate hijacking. Also, from the little I did see, so far, it has not been possible to match the inventors list to the MAH370 passengers names.

I know, I know. It’s hard to find a good motive. Then again, if it was any easier, we’d probably have a better idea of who or what was behind the plane’s disappearance.

  • Marlin

Katie 5:54pm “A Pity Jon is not around because those comments from Sorrensen & the unnecessary bad language are still there.”

As are the gratuitous attacks by James on Tim V (why did you decide to adopt “Timbo” and “TV”, BTW? I thought you were keen on politeness, which at a minimum requires that we refer to screen names as stated, except when long, in which case abbreviation/initials are surely OK). Those comments, expressed as a string of personal attack one-liners kind of ruined one of the pages of this thread. Should have not been allowed, but then we can’t ask for dedicated moderation, can we?

  • katie

    Tetchy today Marlin.

‘ Putin has mocked diplomatic efforts to end the Ukraine crisis as Russia threatened to disrupt European gas supplies by cutting off sales to Kiev over its unpaid debts.’

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/russia/10684333/Putin-mocks-the-West-and-threatens-to-turn-off-gas-supplies.html

I suggest you don’t get involved in the petty bickering.
If I object to foul language that is my business not yours.

As for the Maldives, instead of being picky come try coming up with the correct timings then !

Do not expect a further reply on this from me.

  • Marlin

Katie, did you mean “touchy”? a two-way street, would you say?

Why should Russia supply gas for nothing BTW? would you? especially since Ukraine is getting all this IMF loans, their puppet regime can renegotiate their debt with Russia just fine. At the moment the puppeteers are just trying for some point scoring – the PR battle against Russia is in full bloom, as we can see.

You don’t need to answer, BTW. Besides, I do agree – this is not a board to hash over political differences. Though these may have some relevance insofar that they shed light on which direction people are coming from. As much as we’d like, conspiracy models are not independent of the political leanings of those who propose/support them. And for those who prefer to remain observers, it helps to know how much of a bias factor needs to be subtracted.

  • straw44berry

    Malaysia is UTC+8

    Maldives are UTC+5

Aircraft disappeared 1.20 am local time from ATC radar (we’ll ignore U-Turn and further radar reports for this purpose)

1.20 am is 5.20 pm GMT

    http://nypost.com/2014/03/19/residents-on-remote-island-we-saw-missing-plane/

Kudahuvadhoo is approx 112 miles SSW of the Maldive capital Male, this would rule out the possible assassination attempt of the Royals.

Sighting of a plane in the Maldives was at 6.20 am local time which is 1.20 am GMT

8 hours after the transponder was switched off, 8 hours 40 minutes after take off.

Diego Garcia is a further 691 miles south of Kudahuvadhoo, and maybe 90 mins+ flight time. (Cruise speed is 560 mph)

    Total distance:-
To point of loss, u-turn then to Andaman, towards Sri Lanka overflying the Maldives down to Diego Garcia maybe 4500 miles. (Port Blair to Colombo + Colombo to DG is approx 2300 direct)

    http://www.boeing.com/boeing/commercial/777family/pf/pf_200product.page

Max range for 777-200ER is 7725 miles, so if James suggestion that Malysia Airlines financial difficulties mean that they are filling up in KL to save money it is possible.

40 mins known flight, maybe 1 hr from there to the Andaman islands leaving 7 hours to get to there to cover Port Blair to Colombo = 934 miles and Colombo to Kudahuvadhoo 562 miles = 1496 miles for 7 hours!??

Suggests a landing to me or a lot of zig-zagging across the Indian Ocean for sure.

Then approx 700 miles from sighting to DG

  • straw44berry

Kota Bharu to Port Blair is 753 miles so from the U-turn further, so may take 2 hours from point of loss to Port Blair and then 6 hours before the sighting in the Maldives.

  • katie

That’s very detailed , I did it in a more direct way Straw.
I simply added the flying time to the Maldives from the time the transponder was switched off , then deducted 3 hours, arriving at almost the time they started in that direction.

I really do believe the sightings, but I wish they knew if the plane was flying past or actually taking off.
Presumably a jumbo take off from DG would be well clear of the Maldives, so that could mean the plane was flying under the radar heading somewhere else ‘after’ landing at DG ?
