Disappearing Aircraft 5652

I had fairly well concluded that the most likely cause was a fire disrupting the electrical and control systems, when CNN now say the sharp left turn was pre-programmed 12 minutes before sign off from Malaysian Air Traffic control, which was followed fairly quickly by that left turn.

CNN claim to have this from an US official, from data sent back before the reporting systems went off.  It is hard to know what to make of it: obviously there are large economic interests that much prefer blame to lie with the pilots rather than the aircraft.  But if it is true then the move was not a response to an emergency.  (CNN went on to say the pilot could have programmed in the course change as a contingency in case of an emergency.  That made no sense to me at all – does it to anyone else?)

I still find it extremely unlikely that the plane landed or crashed on land  I cannot believe it could evade military detection as it flew over a highly militarized region.  Somewhere there is debris on the ocean.  There have been previous pilot suicides that took the plane with them; but the long detour first seems very strange and I do not believe is precedented.  However if the CNN information on pre-programming is correct, and given it was the co-pilot who signed off to air traffic control, it is hard to look beyond the pilots as those responsible for whatever did happen.  In fact, on consideration, the most improbable thing is that information CNN are reporting from the US official.

    Katie…

Read the report (on the U2) and ?

You sat “I firmly believe present technology can go as far as our imagination & beyond” then your imagination must be true ???

I had a dream last night. A large Panda ate an Elephant !

    Tin

    Foil

    Hat

Bad News for the Western powers….all eyes back on the Ukraine. They just couldn’t keep the media on the search long enough.

Worse luck to them, next time.

  • katie

Q, there has to be. What’s more the officials know it, which is why we are not allowed to know the full extent of the cargo or even who made the …er…batteries .Even if Malaysia is not guilty they know they’ve not followed rules or were even smuggling.
There could be a double crime & unrelated to the disappearance, imagine the back office panicking ?
Whoever is behind the hijack may have known this & chose their victim well….. the pilot ?
Perhaps more research should be done about the related opposition politician who is now in prison to see what his a affiliations are.

    BB,
That Nano tech article was written in late 2011, imagine the advances the intervening two & half years.

Your theory is one on that level, what about getting the radar shut down long enough to fly unseen into DG [or somewhere] then get a repaint with this new type non reflecting radar paint.
That would allow them time AND the freedom to fly out of DG [ or somewhere] unseen even two nights later.

‘A nanotube coating would allow a plane to absorb a radar beam, making it undetectable.’

  • katie

James, I know nothing about technology, other than what I read, but I can connect dots.

    Oooh look this will please a few ;

‘Stealth Paint New Israeli nanotech paint purportedly turns any airplane or missile into a stealth aircraft.
Some innovations in flight are huge; for instance, this week we’ve already seen concepts for a flying car and caught wind of the first fully-autonomous helicopter flight.

But other aviation innovations are as simple as a fresh coat of paint. An Israeli nanotech company is claiming that it has created a special paint that makes planes, missiles, drones, and other aircraft invisible to radar.
The company, called Nanoflight, says it has completed an initial test run and found that missiles painted with its proprietary nano-paint are very difficult to detect with radar. The paint doesn’t make aircraft disappear completely from radar instruments, but it is disruptive enough that it is very hard for equipment to register their signatures as incoming war craft.

Straw; The doc looks authentic. Your link is the only ref I can see. Orly Taitz is a Birther nut-case, but that seems beside the point.

Typical subterfuge to make everything classified.

  • katie

    That’s a good link Straw.
I had read about the Afghanistan theory before & feel it unlikely, but I like the mention of help on the ground.
The more I think about the more I think it inevitable. It has to be a well thought out plan, not an impromptu decision.
I also can’t believe it’s terrorism as we know it , too many people must have been involved.
Whilst 9/11 was well organised & well executed, there was no big ‘team’ behind helping them, this time I feel there is a government………..but which one ?

Also, why have a dry run when they could have gone straight into a building or crashed into DG airbase with the plane they had control of, especially with a high value passenger list ?
That would have been a real smack in the eye for the Yanks.

  • Ben-LA PACQUTE LO ES TODO

“Also, why have a dry run….” Getting it done quickly, before too many heads get together, is the methodology for terror, Katie.

Others, under cover of darkness they enforce, can bide their time.

  • katie

Ben, but surely if this is a dry run it’s self defeating ?
Everyone is nows aware something could be afoot, so all they security measures will have been put in place …just as though there HAD been a terrorist attack , so what have they gained ?

“How much time do you need to contain the Media on the Ukraine?”

    “About 60 days”

“I think we can accommodate you”

  • James

    Katie

    “I know nothing about technology”

To be honest, that is the best place to come from.
So…keep pushing ideas. You may get “shot down” but …you might not.

  • katie

I see what you mean Ben, & I agree with your EU & IMF comment, dictatorships they are !

Thanks James, agreed, at least I have no strict teaching to follow & no ideas put into my head, whacky ideas often spark something in someone else’s imagination.

    Q

On your 4.13pm link could you please check the ‘black circle’. I dont think Diego Garcia is even close to being in it. DG is west of the southernmost tip of India, the ‘black circle’ is east of the tip of India.

  • Q

@Straw44berry: Those maps are not to scale. I’m not vouching for that website at all, just saying that there are many questions about the data used to pinpoint the current search area. Obviously something big has happened since the release of the Malaysia government’s report: the search area is now being revised. Steve Winter’s analysis sheds more light. I wonder where the pressure has come from: a few days ago, the international search team seemed to think that no other alternatives should be considered except the current official search area. It seemed rather a narrow-minded and arrogant approach, considering that they have not yet turned up a single piece of evidence.

“‘We’ve got to this stage of the process where it’s very sensible to go back and have a look at all of the data that has been gathered, all of the analysis that has been done and make sure there’s no flaws in it, the assumptions are right, the analysis is right and the deductions and conclusions are right,’ Angus Houston, head of the search operation, told reporters in Canberra.”

Could the more tech savvy cast an eye over this

“Armed with the old Russian charts, the United States Geological Survey began a series of aerial surveys of Afghanistan’s mineral resources in 2006, using advanced gravity and magnetic measuring equipment attached to an old Navy Orion P-3 aircraft that flew over about 70 percent of the country.

The data from those flights was so promising that in 2007, the geologists returned for an even more sophisticated study, using an old British bomber equipped with instruments that offered a three-dimensional profile of mineral deposits below the earth’s surface. It was the most comprehensive geologic survey of Afghanistan ever conducted.

The handful of American geologists who pored over the new data said the results were astonishing.”

    @ Bluebird

    Greetings,
I tracked you down to try to get you help with a Not Forgetting the Al Hillis initiative. Specifically to post a summary/annex of the main theories and backup data so they can be easily referenced and examined at a later date. Marlin is a co-worker and we have gotten in contact to do this using google docs where we are working on quite a few files.

I have looked at many of your posts and taken a stab at a family tree for the Al-Hillis/Al Saffars.

Could you help out by taking a look at it?

pls answer on the Not Forgetting Al Hillis string

Am looking for any mistakes/omissions, even spelling and style. The format is on a spreadsheet which is easy to manipulate on gdocs. You can only view it at this time.

    Bluebird, 4 May, 2014 – 7:47 pm,
With regards to your theory of the switching of 9M MRO with it’s prepared twin, could the switch have been done at Tel Aviv and not in Malaysia. I keep thinking that I read somewhere that 9M MRO was used on a flight to Tel Aviv some time prior to being lost.
