I had fairly well concluded that the most likely cause was a fire disrupting the electrical and control systems, when CNN now say the sharp left turn was pre-programmed 12 minutes before sign off from Malaysian Air Traffic control, which was followed fairly quickly by that left turn.
CNN claim to have this from an US official, from data sent back before the reporting systems went off. It is hard to know what to make of it: obviously there are large economic interests that much prefer blame to lie with the pilots rather than the aircraft. But if it is true then the move was not a response to an emergency. (CNN went on to say the pilot could have programmed in the course change as a contingency in case of an emergency. That made no sense to me at all – does it to anyone else?)
I still find it extremely unlikely that the plane landed or crashed on land I cannot believe it could evade military detection as it flew over a highly militarized region. Somewhere there is debris on the ocean. There have been previous pilot suicides that took the plane with them; but the long detour first seems very strange and I do not believe is precedented. However if the CNN information on pre-programming is correct, and given it was the co-pilot who signed off to air traffic control, it is hard to look beyond the pilots as those responsible for whatever did happen. In fact, on consideration, the most improbable thing is that information CNN are reporting from the US official.
The ill-fated flight path.

@MN: What in the world is happening? Are you thinking rendition, extraordinary?
Minor detail: I guess the Dreamliner pilot couldn’t afford to order pizza for everyone, or perhaps the Azores don’t have Domino’s. New definition of “refreshment”: a sausage roll and a bottle of water. At least it wasn’t MREs.

plane crash in Mali ( with lots of French Nationals, all killed)
cockpit voice recorder unusable?
@Michael Norton: “A little bit damaged” tape recording (where does one buy tape for recording these days)? Surely they can splice something together, like they did with MH370.
After more than a week has passed since England decoded the Ukraine crash black boxes and passed to the Netherlands, as so very much depends on why/how/who disabled this plane,
why has it all gone quiet?
Could it be that what has been found out is not what the Americans/Ukraine regime wanted?
After more than 3 weeks, all these planes that crashed, MalAsia, UCrane, AlGeria, where American-made and got dis-abled after making a ‘left’ turn.
Can this be just an other co-incidence, or rather the proof that some powerful secret circles do not want any body to make a left turn? Has expected the MSM donot report on this very strange factor. At the end of the day, who is reading the black boxes? They’re is no transparency so the ploy will remain secret.

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/22/business/air-insurers-worry-after-malaysia-airlines-latest-crash.html?_r=1
excerpt..
“The crashes of Flight 370 and Flight 17 are not Malaysia Airlines’ first unusual insurance claims, however. The airline had an unusual claim in 2000 for the total loss of an Airbus A330 traveling in the opposite direction on the same route as Flight 370.
In that case, a canister of a mysterious Chinese shipment destined for Iran broke open near the end of a trip from Beijing to Kuala Lumpur and began leaking, producing a smell that prompted the captain to conduct an emergency evacuation upon landing of all 266 people aboard. A subsequent investigation found that the hold was contaminated beyond cleaning with mercury and other chemicals that may have been precursors for the manufacture of nerve gas.
The Malaysian government ended up digging a large hole in the ground near the airport tarmac and burying the entire plane. Insurers paid a full settlement of $90 million.
Airline insurance premiums are set through an annual process in which underwriters bid for which provider will offer the lowest premiums at the best terms. Few airlines’ policies have been renewed yet; Malaysia Airlines’ has not. Until this year, Malaysia Airlines paid some of the lowest insurance premiums in the global aviation market, because it had a fairly young fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes.
“With a shallow premium pool fully exhausted and an expectation of an immediate review of the current hull war premium rating, MH17 and incidents recently in Pakistan and Tripoli look likely to be the events that may halt the decline in aviation premium income and usher in the reintroduction of increases once again,” said Gary Moran, the head of Asia aviation brokerage for Aon.
Many leases and other contracts in the airline industry require carriers to be insured. Despite recent losses, Mr. Smith said, airlines were still able to obtain insurance, though he declined to speculate on the likelihood of increases in premiums.
“If it wasn’t available,” he said, “the airlines wouldn’t be able to fly.”

My friend watched a large plane flying very low at 2.20am on the evening of the disappearance. It had no lights on apart from the undercarriage which was brightly lit. This was at Gungung Raya , Langkawi, Malaysia. Gungung Raya is a large mountain on the island. She thought at first it was going to crash but maintained its low flight through the mountains. This is an area of dense rainforest. The Thai plane sited on radar was at 2.13am at Butterworth around 10 mins flyiing time from here. My friend has lodged a report with the police

And what’s worse the latest jetliner that disappeared over Iran was an a/c designed in Ucrane! It made a left turn after taking off and crashed.
If that’s not a conspiracy, I don’t know what is.
Anyone who sees “a large plane flying very low at 2.20am on the evening” should immediately cut down drinking, see a good shrink and brush up his English.

Another mystery plane crash in Iran
In a new and unexpected twist, another Malaysia Airlines flight (Kuala-Lumpur to Paris De Gaulle) just got affected by another mysterious dis-appearance: a young female passenger had her wet panties vanish while a male cabin crew sat beside her. The craft was apparently at cruise altitude and some turbulence was then felt. She reported the incident upon arrival and Mossad denied to be in-volved. But this obviously comes as a reminder of Operation Cheesecake.
