Gaza Invasion 359

CNN just announced that Israeli is launching a ground invasion “after ten days of Hamas attacks by land air and sea.” There was no questioning of that quite incredible statement. Talk about the big lie.

In a strange way I prefer this to the continued aerial bombardment, because at least the Palestinians will be able to fight back to some extent. I do hope the Palestinian defenders have a good deal of success against the Israeli tanks. Let us hope the IDF get a bloody nose like they did in Lebanon 2006.

UPDATE

The heroic Israelis have killed a five month old baby with a tank. Hope they are very proud of themselves.

    In particular:

“There is a terrible irony to this widespread publishing of photos of battered Palestinian children – the aim seems to be to show that we the right-minded folk of Twitter and the Western media really care, but the question it immediately raises in my mind is this: “Well, if you care about children so much, why didn’t you publish photos of dead kids from the Congo? Or Aleppo? Or Sri Lanka? Do you only care about one group of children – Palestinians – and no others?”
So a photo-sharing frenzy aimed at advertising our caring tendencies actually has the opposite effect: it makes one wonder why this alleged caring instinct is so picky, so partial , attaching itself firmly to the child-victims of one conflict but rarely finding expression in relation to any other conflict.”

Oh the whataboutry! Where would they all be without whataboutry?

What about the plumes of Saturn?
    What about the Vesuvius?
    What about Congo?

They dictate what Gaza residents should have voted in their elections, and in the absence of their desired results, they will bomb the Gaza to smithereens, and destroy hospitals, sewage systems and water purification facilitates (not war crimes at all).

The same aggressive, inhuman hoards of mad rabid zionists then dictate what should we be concerned with; Children in Congo, in Sri Lanka, etc. Evidently the zionists supremacists verily intend to compel/force/intimidate us into thinking, and writing about their prescribed subjects. This is a universal trend in the zionist “discourse”; tell the goyem cattle what they should think.

Channel 4 covered it briefly too. Perhaps they are getting too many compaints.

535,000 signatures on the AVAAZ petition now. Incredible.

Nick Griffin was never elected to public office, but in any case he’s said never said anything remotely as vile as that quote.

That evil woman is an elected member of the Knesset, and her party is part of the ruling coalition, with ministers in cabinet. I know it is hard to believe, but Ayelet Shaked genuinely represents a sizeable portion of Israeli opinion, which is nakedly fascist.

Israel is a racist colony, so it should come as no surprise that it is full of evil, racist people.

Huffpost say 15,000? The BBC are saying “thousands”. Its impossibly hard to estimate numbers but I’ve been to a lot of demos in London and today felt like a lot more than 15,000. I could be wrong.

Have the stwc or met given figures?

    May Palestine Become Free Soon
    by Dennis Rahkonen / July 19th, 2014

During the 1967 Six Day War, my youthful ignorance and gullibility made me completely swallow pro-Israeli propaganda regarding that conflict, plus the overall glorification of Tel Aviv’s purpose relating to Palestinians. I remember a paperback book, Strike Zion, which prominently appeared on newsstands, extolling especially the Israeli military, while thoroughly demonizing Arabs.

I’ve since become a passionate supporter of Palestinian independence, based on irrefutable evidence that Israel, for many cruel decades, has built its own state via an ongoing genocidal effort to extirpate Palestinian rights and sovereignty by means not unlike how European colonists took America from its indigenous people.

In Gaza today, Jews having historical ties to the horrific Holocaust, are ultra-hypocritically delivering sudden mass death, violent injury and harrowing fear to trapped multitudes just as Hitler did with the Warsaw Ghetto.

There are sites on the Internet, such as GlobalPost, where one can view grotesque photos of the ensuing human carnage that most media deem too graphic — or too damning against Israel — to publish.

If blowing up children frolicking on a sunny beach or bombing a rehabilitation facility for the disabled doesn’t spur your moral outrage, consider this:

As reported in the London Independent, a Danish journalist videotaped Israelis gathered on a hilltop in the border city of Sderot, sitting in plastic chairs and eating popcorn, cheering as their army’s shells exploded against the night darkness in Gaza, with its dense civilian population. CNN correspondent Diana Magnay also reported the story, receiving threats for doing so.

Israel’s shameful, unequivocal barbarism must be stopped.

The Palestinians definitely deserve a unitary, unhindered homeland.

With the help of international outrage manifested in a coordinated global boycott, divestment and sanctions aimed at outlaw Israel, may that homeland come into existence soon!

Cheers to good people here for providing links to the Stop Bombing Gaza! -Free Palestine demonstrations across the UK.

Special thanks to Mary for sharing with us her moving and heartrending correspondence.

We are living in depressing , discouraging and disheartening times.

    Shame on Ed Milliband promotor and MI5 ‘mark’ Lloyd William Embley for the headline;

“Putin (is) warned of ‘hell to pay’ if Russia to blame” without ascribing it to a source concerning the MH17 trajedy.

We have been shown the grief, the bereavement and the sorrow of the families and friends of those violently and dreadfully murdered in Palestine and Ukraine.

I myself believe we can take that awareness of bereavement within/into ourselves, within our minds to feel the emotion. Holding a placard, gathering and yelling our anguish in solidarity is not enough. The mourning is shedding tears, the harmony is holding hands; everyone who feels that pain can marry/join in this way across the country, from Land’s End to John o’ Groats. Those who see our tears will accompany.

How can the ‘origin’ evolve when the intention is weak?

  • Mary

Yes Mark. Homo non sapiens learnt nothing from WW1 and WW2.

Israel bombs El Shifa hospital, a well built three storey structure with good doctors and nursing staff. It has been attacked before.

What did the British and the Americans do in Iraq? Bomb it to smithereens. We even used cluster bombs in Basra. This is an account of the terrible atrocities committed.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Basra_(2003)

The nitwits waving silly little union flags on royal occasions and the old boys of the British Legion lowering their flags on Remembrance Day have short memories or even selective memories.

But heh, forget the slaughter of Palestinians and the decomposing bodies in Hrabove. Rejoice! Prince George is one on Tuesday and there’s some more of the bread and circus stuff coming up in Glasgow next week.

Anti-Israel protests are reported from over hundred cities around the world, calling Israeli actions “neoNazi”, and calling Israel “Scum state”.

Turkey’s prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has even crossed the “red line”. While criticizing Israel Knesset female Jew member Ayelet Shaked’ remark, “all Palestinians are our enemies and should be killed” – Erdogan compared Ms. Shaked with Hitler. In fact, Hitler never ordered the extermination of European Jewry. How could he, when 150,000 German Jews were part of the Nazi Army.

Naturally, Erdogan’s response was not acceptable to American Jew supremacist Abraham Foxman, the head of Israel lobby group ADL. On July 15, Abe fired his Zionist rocket at Erdogan, saying: “According to reports, you made the unthinkable comparison of an Israeli politician to Hitler and accused Israel of terrorizing the region, of disregard of international law and of tyranny.” Yes, shame on you Mr. Erdogan, for being a Muslim criticizing the Biblical “chosen woman”.

A Naga Munchetti has joined the BBC Breakfast team. This morning she referred to what is happening as a ‘controversial dispute’. !!!

When the paper reviewer Sir Philip Craven president of the Int’l Paralympic Assn was expressing his anger about a grandfather in Gaza losing his three grandsons to an Israeli missile whilst playing in their yard, and comparing them to his own three grandsons playing in his garden yesterday, she said ‘We mustn’t forget that there are Israeli casualties too’.

Do they go to the BBC College of Journalism to be taught their bias or do they arrive for their jobs already indoctrinated?

Eichmann’s contribution to the Occupation and the creation of Israel.

‘Nazi Germany used violence and economic pressure to encourage Jews to leave Germany of their own volition;[26] around 250,000 of the country’s 437,000 Jews emigrated between 1933 and 1939. Eichmann travelled to British Mandatory Palestine with his superior Herbert Hagen in 1937 to assess the possibility of Germany’s Jews voluntarily emigrating to that country, disembarking with forged press credentials at Haifa, whence they travelled to Cairo in Egypt. There they met Feival Polkes, an agent of the Haganah, with whom they were unable to strike a deal.[29] Polkes suggested that more Jews should be allowed to leave under the terms of the Haavara Agreement, but Hagen refused, surmising that a strong Jewish presence in Palestine might lead to their founding an independent state, which would run contrary to Reich policy.[30] Eichmann and Hagen attempted to return to Palestine a few days later, but were denied entry after the British authorities refused them the required visas.[31]

In 1938, Eichmann was posted to Vienna to help organise Jewish emigration from Austria, which had just been integrated into the Reich through the Anschluss.[32] Jewish community organisations were placed under supervision of the SD and tasked with encouraging and facilitating Jewish emigration.[33] Funding came from money seized from other Jewish people and organisations, as well as donations from overseas, which were placed under SD control.[34] Eichmann was promoted to SS-Obersturmführer (first lieutenant) in July 1938, and appointed to the Central Agency for Jewish Emigration in Vienna, created in August.[35] By the time he left Vienna in May 1939, nearly 100,000 Jews had left the country legally, and many more had been smuggled out to Palestine and elsewhere.’

Bet the BBC loved putting this up.

    Israel expands Gaza ground offensive

Israel has expanded its ground operation against Hamas, the army says, as Gazans report the heaviest shelling in 13 days of conflict.

‘More than 40 people were killed in one district east of Gaza City, hospital officials have told the BBC.’

‘But the death toll continued to rise at the weekend, with the number of Palestinians killed now 395 since the operation began, according to Palestinian health officials.’

Je I couldn’t read anything like that now as I feel so thoroughly sickened and saddened but thanks anyway. The Rabbi looks like one of those who belong to Neturei Karta who join pro Palestinian protest marches here.

Your post is like waving your arms.

How can we stop this and help??

I wouldn’t presume to advise an aidworker, but for anyone else casting around for answers, suggest:

    1. Give generously to MAP. They’re on the ground, they’re non political (I believe based in UK) and they’ve been mitigating the ongoing disaster of Gaza for years. Don’t forget to check the tax release box.

    http://www.map-uk.org/

    Thank you.

    2. I’m sorry to say this, and I say it only because my reluctance has now given place to fury: the only people with any leverage on Israel, ultimately, (via all sorts of lobby groups in every Western government, as we all know.) is the Jewish diaspora. If you know a member of this, make sure they are in absolutely no doubt of your views, within the limits of the law, and get an idea of their stance, too. Don’t feel you have even to reply to a routine greeting from a Jewish person who supports Israel’s current actions, let alone offer one. Make it personal. Quiet protests outside synagogues of a Saturday may also help to convey disgust with Israel’s policies. I’m thinking of a silent crowd moving politely aside to allow worshippers in and out, and then reforming. No obstruction; no abuse.

The compliance of our government in this is misrepresented as our compliance. Make sure there is no confusion in future.

  • Mary

The figure killed last night has now reached 50 after heavy bombing on Shejaiya, east of Gaza City. The people were told to leave but had nowhere to go. Bodies of women and children are lying on the dusty ground.

Oh dear, Ba’al, you want us to start hassling Jews in the street now? Intimidate them outside synagogues regardless of the opinions they may or may not hold? You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Five years ago, I was at UCL listening to Mads Gilbert speaking of his work during Cast Lead. I can still hear his lilting voice, his words and see the shocking photos he produced. Attempts were made to disrupt Mads talk by one Jonathan Hoffman of the JNF without success.

I looked him up this morning and thought he had a namesake and lookalike working for Boris as an ‘economic adviser’.
    http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/jonathan-hoffman/2/500/238

Anyway I thought nothing of it until I looked further for recent activity of Hoffman and found this about the massive fall in JNF income. http://electronicintifada.net/blogs/asa-winstanley/jnfs-loss-half-uk-charity-revenue-good-news-palestinians

There was a link within to Hoffman and on the JC article there is the very same photo! http://www.thejc.com/blogs/jonathan-hoffman/jc-leads-with-crude-jnf-smear-story

Outrageous. What is Boris up to employing such an extreme Zionist? Am example of how Jewish people are embedded in the structure of government at all levels, national, regional and local and not even a moderate in Hoffman’s case. Just like Yankeeland. The Palestinian people do not stand a chance of regaining their land and homes until Israel goes down.

That is almost exactly NOT what I suggested, as can readily be confirmed above. Though I am glad to see that the suggestion of silent protest where it will best be registered and ostracism of known pro-Israel Jews frightens you into intentional misrepresentation.

Maybe I’ll see you next Saturday.

  • Ba'al Zevul (With Gaza)

I would be interested to hear if our pro-Zion crowd has any less drastic (and workable) suggestions. Because I can no longer argue with that.
