We do not know who kidnapped and murdered the three children in Palestine. These murders are terrible and need to be investigated. You cannot investigate a murder with bombs and tanks. Tony Blair’s immediate bandwagon-jumping and rush to blame Hamas is typical of a man who has caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands through his urge to fix the facts around the policy.
Six Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli forces in the past three weeks. That did not get lead headlines in the mainstream media. I should note in fairness that the BBC World News at 9.00 am this morning did mention it, but on standard form that will quickly get censored out of future bulletins.
I don’t recall Tony Blair rushing out press releases as a result if the deaths of those Palestinian children. How exactly does Blair believe his ghoulish publicity seeking on the back of this terrible tragedy is helping anything, except perhaps his long term money-making potential?
I doubt that Hamas killed the children. It would make no sense given its strategy of joining a unified Palestinian leadership and entering the diplomatic dialogue. It must be possible that the children were murdered by a Palestinian individual or group outraged by the recent killings of Palestinian children. It also must be possible that they were killed by an Israeli individual or group eager to undermine the Palestinian unity process and promote the settlement agenda.
All deaths are tragic, and the deaths of younger people always feel more tragic still. Parents are mourning in Israel and Palestine. The answer is not to create more mourning parents and shattered children. All violence in Palestine must be condemned unequivocally.
Last time I looked, about 100 times as many Palestinians have been killed by the IDF as Israelis by all Palestinian factions. Therefore 300 Pal kids would have to die for as much fuss to be made about them. And it’s not unlikely that they will, on past form.
Well, you mentioned Blair. Here’s his latest swivel-eyed bollocks, fresh from the Aspen Ideas Festival. The bleeding obvious, leavened with gibbering paranoia as he creeps ever further to the far right of the neocon spectrum:

Particularly fine platitude:
“Until we take the poison out of the politics in the Middle East, there’s not going to be peace.”
Umm, yeah. That’s both sides you’re talking about, Mr Impartial? Libermann, f’r instance?
I’ll spare you what he told Yahoo News about the 1500 jihadis returning from Syria to sack, loot and burn the UK…
He’s off to Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, today, with Bill Clinton, to preach the Third Way (globalism, lol). And maybe do a few, you know, deals.

Smoking gun proof of “Israeli teen kidnapping” false flag

Netanyahu’s language in response, as reported, is horrible.
The sad fact is, whilst Palestinians are dying in their droves, a few more dead Palestinians is deemed not newsworthy by the corporate media. It is evident that the stereotyping of the Palestinians as the “eternal terrorists” has completely discounted their humanity to a degree that no one cares any more whether they live or die.
The shameful spectre of a mass concentration camp in the form of Gaza, or West Bank is not the issue because as we all know the Palestinians did not suffer at the juncture of history that mattered most at the year zero of the contrived history of the world ie circa WWII!
The extent of pernicious corruption of values goes so far as denying all and sundry any right to warranted criticism of the bloody genocide of the Palestinians as “antisemi….” statements. History will look back unkindly at the inaction of the world powers and their silence in the face of the onslaught of the zionists bent on destruction of any and all traces of Palestine and its nationals, in a relentless campaign lasting almost a century.
Mary,
yes, saw that. Don’t think it proves anything, though a strange coincidence indeed that he chose to say “three”.
“I forget its name, but it’s the one that goes on for a couple of hours”
You know the name of the programme. It’s an odd lie I grant you. Maybe lying has become a compulsion for you. Maybe some other reason. But you are lying.
You will of course respond with your normal smug condescensions to further derail a thread that points out that Israel is about to again massacre the innocent.
If it exists you are certainly hellbound.
The Israeli intention behind these actions is obvious.
30 June 2014
Israel has dropped hundreds of lollipops bearing anti-Hamas messages on two cities in the West Bank, it appears.
The sweets, found in both Nablus and Ramallah, are adorned with the message “Ramadan Kareem… Some sweetness, after Hamas has made life in the West Bank bitter,” the Ramallah-based Ma’an news agency reports. According to witnesses in Nablus, Israeli troops threw the sweets after deploying heavily in the region as part of their search for three teenagers who went missing while hitchhiking in the West Bank.
The Times of Israel suggests that the misuse of the the Arabic word for “bitter” on the lollipops has caused locals to assume that the source of the message was Israeli. However, the Israel Defense Forces told the Jerusalem Post that it “was not familiar with the incident”.
Ma’an says the sweets are not the first “gifts” left by Israeli troops in the last week. Residents of Nablus tell the agency they have found matchboxes bearing the Arabic words “Beware! Hamas is inflaming the West Bank”.
More than 600 people have been detained in the two-week search for the missing Israelis, Ma’an reports, while Israel has named two suspects over the suspected abduction.

What struck me as odd from the beginning was the heavy handedness the IDF were using in trying to find the teenagers. They seem to have intimate knowledge of when , where , by who and the car along with a telephone call.If they knew all of this then why the red herring mass ransacking of homes and the shooting of Palestinain kids in revenge.
Mossad are supposedly so good, that getting them back alive should’ve been a dawdle.
The Israeli leadership act like crack crazed gangsters.Benjamin Milikowsky and Evet Lvovich Lieberman are complete nut jobs. What kind of population would vote these lunatics in ?

Here the BBC’s Kevin Connolly gives encouragement which revolts me. Heating up the ME cauldron which islikely to go off on many fronts. We get him over the airwaves now instead of Donnison and Bowen. Yolande Knell too. At least she is the more factual of the two.
‘Analysis, by Kevin Connolly, BBC News, Jerusalem
Israel’s overnight air raids on Hamas targets in Gaza were an immediate response to a wave of missile attacks launched from the Palestinian enclave since Sunday.
They should not be seen as a definitive response to the abduction and murder of the three teenage boys whose fate has transfixed this country over the course of the last two-and-a-half weeks.
In keeping with Jewish religious custom the funerals will take place on Tuesday – and only when they have passed and the outpouring of national grief they will prompt has died down will Israel’s governments finalise its military and political plans.
Having firmly focused the blame for the murders on Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have to demonstrate to the Israeli public that his response will be calibrated to match the huge sense of anger and outrage that is felt here.
In the past, Israel has used targeted missile attacks to kill senior members of militant groups and it has the military capacity to target Hamas’s stockpiles of missiles and rockets in a sustained campaign.
And it will have a clear political goal too. Israel was angered by the creation of a Palestinian unity government which brought together Hamas with the Palestinian Authority, whose forces helped to look for the victims.

Have a nice day
From the BBC:
“Israel PM Benyamin Netanyahu said: “Hamas is responsible and Hamas will pay.”
[No need for an investigation then.]
Kevin Connolly, BBC News, Jerusalem:
“Having firmly focused the blame for the murders on Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have to demonstrate to the Israeli public that his response will be calibrated to match the huge sense of anger and outrage that is felt here.”
—————————————–
Of course a huge sense of anger and outrage by Palestinians, with over sixty years of land theft, assassinations and mass murder, including children, counts for nothing.
Palestinians, it seems, don’t have human feelings.
This tragedy will be used to split the Fatah and Hamas unity government and, to that end, the timing of the murders will prove useful to Netanyahu and the Zionist agenda.
The three youths were said to have been hitch-hiking home. In the West Bank Jewish and Arab number plates differ in colour so one can distinguish them at a glance. It is unlikely they would voluntarily climb into an Arab plated vehicle. So it is possible that some Palestinian militants were, by chance, passing and abducted them.
That the youths were killed shortly after indicates that scenario, rather than involvement by Hamas.
Israel has named two suspects as Ayoub al-Kawasma and Abu Aisheh (no evidence released) and the Israeli military has set off explosives which destroyed the homes of both men.
Why would they do that? Surely they should have preserved the homes for forensic evidence linking them to the murders. Very fishy.
We can soon expect an all-out attack on Gaza aided and abetted by that other beacon of democracy; Egypt.
An opportunity to re-occupy The Strip and dislodge Hamas.
Craig
“Don’t think it proves anything, though a strange coincidence indeed that he chose to say “three”.”
Of course it proves nothing but it is also not easily dismissed. To say it is a strange coincidence does not explain how it ended up as public knowledge. How did this end up in Haraatz?
This was allegedly said by the head of Mossad in a Security Cabinet meeting. It is difficult to imagine any politican taking on the head of Mossad in a leaking war so it must have been planted with the agreement of Pardo.
True or not the question is why has Pardo leaked this story when he must fully understand how it will spin around the world.
Is this an Israeli spy gaining some political edge? Is this a world class disinformation agent just playing the bigger game of further undermining conspiracy theorists? Or what?

above should read
Evidence, charges, trial, verdict and possible sentence (preferably in that order) for all those accused of wrongdoing, including Israel, Hamas and the McCanns.
Q Did any Israeli face trial or sentence for the 10 Mavi Marmara slaughters?
A.No, of course not.
Israel has named two suspects as Ayoub al-Kawasma and Abu Aisheh (no evidence released) and the Israeli military has set off explosives which destroyed the homes of both men.
Why would they do that? Surely they should have preserved the homes for forensic evidence linking them to the murders. Very fishy.
The evidence might not have linked them to anything at all, so better to destroy it. Israel is proud of its adherence to the rule of law, and anything conflicting with the overwhelming presumption of guilt wot the IDF wrote last week cannot be admitted, even in mitigation.
Innocent until proven guilty? Bwahahahahaha.
