Confirmed speaking dates at the moment are
26 August St Andrews
28 August Insch
29 August Dundee
30 August Cupar, Fife
I will post details of times and venues shortly – these are all evening events. I am still open to invitations on dates around these, and indeed any daytime events. Don’t mind dashing all over the place. A number are in the pipeline already. Contact me using the button at top of page.
Have been rather unwell the last couple of days, so please forgive lack of regular posts. BBC Hardtalk interview with Anders Fogh Rasmussen of NATO made me feel much worse. Totally incapable of acknowledging the disasters NATO and NATO members have inflicted on the world since the collapse of the Soviet Union – and the BBC totally incapable of serious questioning on the point.

Thanks for the analysis, Fred, but if I were you I’d stick to talking about Scottish independence.
I don’t see my exchanges with Republocofscotland as enjoyment but rather as an effort to educate him and to gently point out where he errs.
I posted about the possibility of P William being given the job not that he had got it.

My Jewish friend is a very good friend and has stronger opinions than me on Israel, its war crimes against the Palestinians and the Occupation. He loathes Israel with a great loathing.
Tell Republic of Scotland all about yourself, why you are here and your history here why don’t you and break the habit of your lifetime on this blog. Yawn! Does Sofia know you have accessed the computer?

Habb Re your above comment, I’ve already posted a link, to the contrary, this man was illegally arrest for investigating governmental lets say discrepances, online, if you had bothered to read the link you’d have know that.

It’s a good job I’m a firm believer in adult education, RoS, otherwise I’d have given you up as a hopeless case a few comments ago.
We have now narrowed down your several links to just this one, the others having referred not to free speech or a free country but to various grievous injustices.
I’ve now looked at your trump link about the alleged curtailment of Mr Chris Spivey’s freedom of speech and find that, far from being an impartial account by a third party, it was written by Mr Spivey about himself on his own blog. The question immediately arises of whether you believe him, doesn’t it.
Rather than wasting my time analysing and commenting his extremely long and ill-written piece, I advise anyone interested to do so and make up their own mind about whether the man has a case or whether he’s a fully paid up member of the loopy club. Clue : he apparently believes that the killing of Lee Rigby in Woolwich was a “conspiracy” (by the state, not the killers).
You have failed yet again, RoS, to make your case and therefore I’m downgrading your mark to gamma double minus.
I don’t see my exchanges with Republocofscotland as enjoyment but rather as an effort to educate him and to gently point out where he errs.

Oh! my what would I do without your, “Gentle Education” I don’t know how on earth I’d get by. It seems you’re so conceited you actually believe it, you’ve also convinced poor old Fred to boot.

You did indeed.
How is that relevant and why do you wish to know?

Re your above comment, whats the big secret about what country you come from? unless of course you’re ashamed of your countries actions. I think I may have hit the nail on the head, this Goyim won’t ask again.
Haven’t you twigged yet? There is no reason why he should follow your orders, this is a free country.
You can’t make him do anything. He on the other hand seems to know which strings to pull to make you dance.
The more you squirm the more he enjoys it.

@FRED I think Fred, you should follow Habbs orders and trying looking through the other end of the telescope, it didn’t work for men, but hey! it might work for you, you may even see one of your, spaceships, hovering over Scotland, go on give it a go.
@RoS
I can only advise you and give you the benefit of my long experience on internet forums. If you listen or not is up to you.
If you want to be Habbabs new play thing go right ahead. Don’t bother me none.

Re above comment.
You see this is where you and I differ, I have an open mind, whether your mind is closed, what you’re effectively telling me is that you believe, state propaganda.
You see I’ve followed Spiveys blog for years, and many others, and I’ve encountered many a doubting Thomas like you and that’s fine by me. As for your Rigby comment, I doubt you read the wealth of evidence against the state.
Like many others you just skimmed the page, and that was that as they say.

If you attach any credibility to Chris Spivey I’d say it was more than open, more like gales blowing through it. Is that what you want from independence? A land fit for tin foil hats?
“what’s your point Fred.”
You’ll see, you’ll see.

Cameron has done a number of ” different ” foreign policy circus tricks, W.Hague’s description, not mine.
1/ Covered up Gaddafi’s rendition work for USUKIS using very clever lawyers to exchange a million Muslim Libyans death for Mr Belhadj’s silence on the matter. Evidence was scooped up by supposed to be non existant boots on the ground in Libya. Their lives did not to Cameron to exchange. Libya has been destroyed as an economic power.
2/ he has delegated key security assignments to the Taliban in Afghanistan which completes the chess board pattern of Sunni-Shi’a, weakening their ability to mobilise against USUKIS power.
3/ he has secured untold millions of virtually free cash from Qatar and Saudi Arabia to refill what he and the Zionist bankers stole from us in exchange for permission for a jihad against the shi’a, while using the cash they stole to fund Assad and thereby destroy Syria.
4/ he has re-opened the UK Embassy in Tehran, after all the false accusations against Iran about nuclear bombs, which they cannot use any more than we can use Trident in exchange for Iranian help in destroying the Saudi jihad against Assad and also for Maliki arming and funding the USUKIS state in Iraq. Whoops, oh dear!
He is the biggest plummy-toned bullshit merchant on this planet. Any Kurdish person listening to his promises has only to recall the way that Winston Churchill carved Kurdistan up like an Xmas turkey, to set a million alarm bells going. They have already reinforced the Allawi in Syria, they will probably use the Yazidis to the same purpose right in the centre of Sunni Kurdistan.
Let me help you to a well-fed cheek of British prime minister before he feeds us with a Kurdish catastrophe on the scale of Libya. Cameron the Betrayer! A worse example of pure Zionist quadruplicity never graced the british House of Commons. A total and utter unrepentant butcher, slaughterer and liar!

The trolls’ job is to extenuate the thread of the conversation until it becomes too long to scroll through and follow.
Feeding the trolls might be fun, but same as monkeys, it’s not a good idea. If the monkeys were with you on your side of the fence, you’d be dead in five. Fortunately they are kept in Hasbara cages in Zoos on blogs, for casual enjoyment on Sunday afternoons of the distant ancestors of the man on the back of the UK ten pound note. The slag on the front is the one you are just about to divorce forever. Don’t worry, she has many other mates, including Mr Abbott of Australia.

The spit shield protecting onlookers is often difficult to see through. The temptation to look at the primates without protection often results in a different sort of challenge.

‘Margaret Becket, Baroness Bunker-Buster’
Is it just my filthy mind, or are you being even lower than the below the belt of the late dec’d News of the World?
Please don’t explain. She liked blowing up people hiding in underground bunkers. Glad that’s sorted out in my mind.
“The slag on the front is the one you are just about to divorce forever”
More guano – and it is even accurate.

Of course those who take all the advantage of our western freedoms to voice their criticisms of everything in the West while at the same time supporting a variety of despots from around the world don’t suffer from that problem in the slightest.
Tony was sucking up to Murdoch because he was shagging his wife.
Forth Bridge, Fred? Going very cheap…Murdoch didn’t even marry Deng until 1999. Whereas, (1998)…

“It is hardly a secret that the conflict in Ukraine has less to do with “Russian aggression” and “European values” than with NATO expansion and Pipelineistan. Even as the NATO-backed Ukrainian regime and Russia are moving closer to a direct military confrontation, all the European Union seems to care about is the stable delivery of gas. After the freaks in Kiev announced that they may halt Russian energy transits through Ukraine, EU officials lost no time in reminding them of Europe’s priorities, which can be easily summarized: When Europe has to choose between Ukraine and Russian gas, the gas wins every time. Shortly afterwards, the European Council issued a statement urging Kiev to “to closely coordinate with the European Commission any actions regarding the transportation of Russian gas.” With energy transits through Ukraine threatened, Russia’s South Stream pipeline blocked and Azerbaijan’s Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) still in the works, some countries are now even considering to revive the Nabucco project in order to bring Iranian gas to Europe:”

Things are hotting up. Voting cards are beginning to arrive.
ZBC helpfully showed us footage of United with Liebour activists all dressed in red uniforms getting out of a red bus and ringing a few doorbells. One stony faced woman said that she was with the Yes campaign. Retreat of activist!
They also showed an Independence activist called Chris Law who is driving around in his restored Green Goddess fire engine, now painted blue
Here he is with Brian Cox.
Actor Brian Cox hits the Dundee campaign trail with Yes message
Photo of Brian Cox with a crowd of people in front of the Spirit of independence vehicle
Campaigning in Dundee today, Hollywood actor Brian Cox called on traditional Labour voters to look beyond party politics and embrace the once in a lifetime opportunity presented by a Yes vote to put Scotland on a path to greater success.
The Rector of Dundee University was back in his native city to help launch the “Spirit of Independence”, a restored 1950s Green Goddess, as it embarks on a colourful campaigning tour to take the Yes message across Scotland.
Chris law, the creator and driver of the renovated fire engine will be explaining his reasons for voting Yes, including the removal of weapons of mass destruction and improving living standards. The first part of his journey beginning today will be waved off by Brian Cox and Dundee Yes supporters.
Brian Cox told a gathered crowd of supporters and onlookers that a Yes vote offers Scotland the chance to use its “vast wealth” in a way that “works for the many” and not just the few.
Mr Cox said: “It is increasingly clear that Westminster isn’t working for the people of Scotland. Earlier this year it was revealed by the Financial Times that Scotland is one of the top 20 wealthiest nations on the planet. We are wealthier per head than France, the UK and even Japan.
“And yet, for far too many of us, it doesn’t feel as though we live in one of the very wealthiest nations on the planet. That’s because the majority of people don’t feel the full benefit of Scotland’s vast wealth.
“One figure that lays bare the failing of the Westminster system is the fact that 70 per cent of people own just 25 per cent of the wealth. It is clear that Westminster only works for the few, whereas with a Yes we can make sure Scotland’s vast wealth works for the many.
“With a Yes we can ensure that Scotland’s wealth, resources and talent are put to work for the benefit of the people who live here. For the first time ever we will have economic and social policy designed in Scotland and for Scotland and that means we can deliver much more for people across our country.
“This is one of the biggest gains for people from a Yes vote. We can make Scotland’s wealth work better for the people who live here and that is too good an opportunity to miss, especially for those thousands of Scots who are traditional Labour voters.
“That is why I would urge all those who remain loyal to Labour in Scotland to look beyond politics as usual and to seize this historic moment for our nation.
“With a Yes, we can protect those elements of our society that we value most, like our NHS and a fair and comprehensive welfare state. In particular, we can make sure that the financial fallout from Westminster’s privatisation agenda can’t damage Scotland’s precious health service.
“For those of us who hold firm to Labour values and believe in a society that has at its very heart a sense of collective responsibility, a Yes is now the only real choice.”
