This is my last comment for the year as we are off to spend Hogmanay as the guests of an Ambassador in Paris. Out of deference to my family, who have had the brunt of it these last few days, I am definitely not taking the laptop, so I will no longer be able to take part in the popular new bloodsport of proving your loyalty to the SNP by being nasty to Craig Murray.
My parting thought is that, as every year of my entire life, it has been a disastrous one for the Palestinians. Yet more land occupied, settlements built, homes destroyed, olive trees uprooted, shipping vessels sunk and yet another murderous onslaught on Gaza.
I warmly recommend this rare public appearance by Col. Larry Wilkerson, ex-Chief of Staff to Colin Powell and a fellow recipient of the Sam Adams Award for Integrity. His brief musings here on Israel and Syria come from a deep store of knowledge and a razor-sharp intellect.
Do have a wonderful celebration. The future will be good. We are closer to a transformational change in society than you may realise.
Saudi Arabia’s publicly announced beheading tally has reached its highest level in the last five years with 83 accounts for 2014.
A Pakistani man was beheaded by Saudi authorities on Wednesday for smuggling “large quantities” of heroin into the kingdom, bringing an AP tally of execution announcements from the official Saudi Press Agency to 83.
Most of beheadings were in relation to drug smuggling.
According to London-based Amnesty International, Saudi Arabia has one the world’s highest execution rates. The group attributes 79 executions to the Kingdom in 2013 and 2012, and 82 in 2011 and 2010, and at least 69 executions in 2009.
Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery, and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under the Saudi rule.
Saudi Arabia carries out capital punishment mostly by beheading.

Nothing will be done to halt the Saudi’s thirst for blood, not by the UN nor the US nor the UK, as the Saudi’s are part of the western axis of evil.

Here’s an interesting outline of what may be coming up for 2015: which is not quite the New World Order that CM may have in mind, more the New World Ordure, courtesy of the US of Aggression.
Thanks Iain – a thoroughly useful post and memorandum.
Meurig Raymond the NFU’s president
”He said once they knew whether there was going to be a European Union referendum, they would then look to see what the farming industry would get in negotiations.“What would be required if we exit and then look at the balances of what are the questions we will put to the government of the day leading up to a possible referendum.”But he said the General Election could signal the end of a referendum plan.”

Our organised, apolitical, sorry for grinning whilst I write apolitical, farmers union is fishing for party political promises of support, they know which side butters their toast and would want to know whether there is a long term commitment to pay them the subsidies they have become accomplished to…. you could not make it up.
We know we are able to carry on being on the dole but you have to promise us that we don’t have to compete on the world market without it, blah blah. This at a time when farmers are getting a fair return from their food, because demand is increasing prices.
Stuart Agnew, a UKIP MEP and north Norfolk farmer is obviously not part of this NFU debate, he wants an end to the EU, his MEP job and the EU subsidies for his farm, well he does not speak much about the monies he receives for the EU.

2014 “End of Year” report and a look into what 2015 might bring http://vineyardsaker.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/2014-end-of-year-report-and-look-into.html
The main event and the main actors
A comprehensive analysis of 2014 should include most major countries on the planet, but this would be too complicated and, ultimately, useless. I think that it is indisputable that the main event of 2014 has been the war in the Ukraine. This crisis not only overshadowed the still on going Anglo-Zionist attack on Syria, but it pitted the world’s only two nuclear superpowers (Russia and the USA) directly against each other. And while some faraway countries did have a minor impact on the Ukrainian crisis, especially the BRICS, I don’t think that a detailed discussion of South African or Brazilian politics would contribute much. There is a short list of key actors whose role warrants a full analysis. They are:
1.The USA
2.The Ukrainian Junta
3.The Novorussians (DNR+LNR)
4.Russia
5.The EU
6.NATO
7.China
I submit that these seven actors account for 99.99% of the events in the Ukraine and that an analysis of the stance of each one of them is crucial. So let’s take them one by one:

Thanks to donations of 3,241 other Labour members and supporters, we’re just £29,222 off hitting the £87,500 we need to hire 10 assistant organisers, who will be vital for our chances of winning our most closely-fought seats. ^^^^^^^^^^ — help get us over the line
Please donate to help fund these assistant organisers now. It will take two minutes — and the campaigns you’re supporting will make the difference between us winning and losing the election:

Can we presume that when imans mention the persecution of Muslims and say nothing about the persecution of Christians that you find it equally disgusting?
A clear analysis Mary – 1 Jan, 2015 – 5:24 pm. In fact the myriad of quondam connections that spawned from our own event horizon revealed the symmetry of intention when on December 22nd 2014 Foreign Minister Wang Yi declared “If the Russian side needs it, we will provide necessary assistance within our capacity”.
Considering the US rhetoric and imperial mindset which proclaims that “you are either with us or against us” it is pretty clear what such a declaration really means: China is putting the US on notice that in the current economic war Russia will have the full backing of China.
Indeed while the head and hands of these two terrains are autonomous, they now share a common torso, a symbiotic entity, a Russia-China Double Helix that will restrain the psychotic malfeasance of the AngloZionist Empire.

After all, it’s a fact that Christians are having a hard time of it in a number of non-Christian (and chiefly Muslim) countries.
What, therefore, is “disgusting” about various Christian leaders raising their voices against the harassment, persecution and even killing of Christians in the countries in question?
It seems to me that it is not only their right to do so but also their duty.
What is, in fact, truly disgusting is that the religious leaders in the countries in question are not raising THEIR voices against said harassment, persecution and killings.

The head of Pakistan’s Ulema Council has condemned the lynching of a Christian couple and said justice must be swift.
Ulema Council chairman Tahir Ashrafi said in Lahore on November 6 that the killing by a mob of a couple in Punjab province for allegedly desecrating a Koran has damaged the image “of both Islam and Pakistan.”
He said Islam doesn’t allow people to act as judges and executioners.
Ashrafi said those responsible for the “cruel” and “sad incident” should be tried in an antiterrorist court, and urged Pakistan’s chief justice to ensure the case is resolved within a month.
Police have arrested more than 40 suspects in the November 4 killings.
The Ulema Council — a group of respected Islamic clerics and legal scholars from different Islamic sects — demanded that the government and Supreme Court ensure Pakistan’s blasphemy law is not abused by people.

A very common, oft-repeated mantra among pundits and “experts” is that Muslims haven’t roundly condemned the extremism committed in Islam’s name. So many times, we hear people saying, “Where are the Muslim voices in condemnation?” “Why aren’t Muslims speaking up against extremists like ISIS?”
Well, the fact is, Muslims have been speaking out against ISIS and other extremist groups. The problem is, some times, people either don’t know or choose not to know this fact. Enter in this excellent post by Media Matters For America, which documents the round condemnation of ISIS by Muslim groups all across the world:

The atrocious attack has been condemned worldwide, and even the Afghan Taliban said that the slaughter of children goes against the Islamic faith.
“The intentional killing of innocent people, children and women is against the basics of Islam and this criteria has to be considered by every Islamic party and government,” spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement, according to Reuters.
The government of Iran also insisted that the attack stands in direct contrast to Islamic teachings.
“This is a totally un-Islamic and inhumane act. Terrorism, extremism and endangering the lives of innocent people, in any form and with any objective, is condemned,” Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said on Tuesday.

“Real average earnings across Britain have fallen by 15 per cent over the past six years and in some parts of the country by as much as 50 per cent, according to research published today.
The study by the GMB union found average annual pay rose by £1,134 to £27,271 between 2008 and 2014.
But the cost of living rose so much over the same period that the value of average earnings has in fact fallen 15.1 per cent nationally once adjusted for inflation – and it was London boroughs that dominated the biggest falls along with northern towns and cities.
Paul Kenny, general secretary of the GMB, said: ‘These figures are a damning and shocking indictment of how the Tories have run the economy and who has benefited from their time in office.”

I don’t deny for a moment that some people in the UK (and especially in certain regions)are having a hard time of it at the moment. And that poverty is not necessarily always visible to the naked eye.
Moreover, I have sympathy for the view that the nation as a whole is impoverished – indirectly, not in a “pound in your pocket” way – when the quality of certain public services (I’m thinking especially of eduction) worsens, as appears to be the case.
Having said that, however, the casual observer on Britain’s streets and in Britain shops and places of entertainment would be hard-pressed not to arrive at the conclusions that there is no economic crisis and that life is still more than tolerable for the great majority of people. The same comment is valid, by the way, for many Continental countries allegedly in the grip of economic slow-down and crisis.
New car sales continually on the up, no let-up in traffic (even with motor fuel the price it is), shopping centres packed whether during the sales or at other times, restaurants pleasingly three-quarters full even in provincial towns and cities and on weekday evenings, everyone seemingly brandishing fairly snazzy (and to my mind expensive) mobile phones or other electronic devices, foreign holidays for summer 2015 already selling like hot cakes….and so on and so on.
And all of this cannot be accounted for by even 100.000 fat cat banlkers in the City and Canary Wharf.
Where, then, is the crisis for the great majority of people?
I suspect that Harold Macmillan’s famous comment might still be valid today.
Moaners and groaners please note.

What you write is good to read, of course, but I wonder if a few hundred swallows make a summer……

Never thought I’d say it but for once we’re in agreement, Christians around the world, are under threat, its not just their lives that are under threat, but their festivals, with more and more countries leaning towards “Political correctness.”
Like not displaying Christmas trees or singing carols, in case it offends the ethnic minority, and of course how could we forget the replacing of the Christmas tree with the Hanukkah on the Whitehouse lawn, every year.
But tell me why is a Jewish boy like you concerned about little old Goyims?

Getting angry, reacting on a blog. is not in the slightest bit like setting up or maintaining A SYSTEM of torture.
This is pre-mediated organisation of system for those who want to do it. It’s got fuck all to do with individuals who get angry. Even if someone was to try and hurt another person. Again that’s a human, individual, messed up thing to do.
For a state to ORGANISE this kind of thing, it’s not just in a different league, its a different subject. Sorry if it’s moved on. I just caught that comment and had to reply……Sometimes anger can be a kindness.

These things do not manifest themselves from human frailty, anger etc. They are enabled and go on through banality. Through things like people at the Guardian, who STILL print the stuff of this madman. It’s simply doing a job, clack-bait or whatever.
This is not being human, it’s being not human. Like being able to compromise deep held feelings. Hence the filtering prosess.

What do people make of Camerons
1) 911 and 7/7 conspiracy comment when what made the 500 tons of molten metal (as calculated from satellite pics) theory is now commonplace
2) Arrogantly referring to a “purring” queen to his fellow tribesman Bloomberg
3) The Friends of Israel inspired abstention from the Palestine vote
These are all political no no’s with a majority of voters, but he persists with the election months away. Very puzzling?
