    OK Phil

    Tell me about your anarchism.

Is it a journey with a map.

Is there a destination involved or is it just of the moment or what?

Good for Ms Brennan but how many will take his blood stained donation?

    8 March 2015
Labour candidate turns down £1,000 donation from Tony Blair

Tony Blair Ms Brennan said the Dundee East team was not accepting Mr Blair’s donation

A Labour candidate for the general election has said she is turning down a £1,000 donation from Tony Blair.

Councillor Lesley Brennan is standing for the Dundee East Westminster seat on 7 May.

It has been reported that former prime minister Mr Blair is donating £1,000 to 106 Labour candidates.

Ms Brennan tweeted: “Received donation from Tony Blair. Instinct was to not accept. Discussed with team. Dundee East is not accepting the £1000.”

    No further explanation was given.

The SNP said the donations were an “embarrassment” to Scottish Labour because Mr Blair led Britain into the Iraq war.

Dundee East is currently an SNP seat. The local MP, Stewart Hosie, is defending a majority of 1,821.

The FCO has blocked a Scottish minister from visiting Gaza, Humza Yousaf, Scotland’s minister for Foreign Affairs, wanted to visit Gaza to see how a £500 million pound, aid package given by Scotland, was being distributed.

The jobs worthy, staff at the FCO, claimed that they couldn’t provide security for Mr Yousaf, even though several UK ministers, including,Baroness Morris of Bolton, and, Tobias Ellwood, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State of the FCO, had recently visited Gaza.

Scottish Independence, would bypass, a need to ask Westminster for permission.

A top-secret £634 million project vital for renewing the Trident nuclear weapons system has been halted following design and management difficulties, according to the government’s Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).

The £634 million pound waste of money, I mean’t project,is riddled with complications discrepancies and mismanagement.

The SNP’s Westminster leader and defence spokesman Angus Robertson MP warned that the whole Trident replacement project was now in jeopardy. The revelation that Pegasus has been halted must throw into doubt the UK Government’s mad plan to renew the nuclear deterrent.

Trident is, a Westminster, vanity project, that makes those old empirically minded politicians, feel as though the Britannia, can somehow rules the waves again.

In reality though, Trident, is just a waste of vital resources.

A GROUP of Jim Murphy’s supporters are preparing for Scottish Labour to break away from London and become a truly independent party in its own right.

The senior activists have applied to register the name “Scottish Labour Party” as a legal trademark in the hope of a radical change.

Dennis Goldie, a former Labour council leader and Holyrood candidate in Falkirk, filed the application with the UK’s Intellectual Property Office (IPO) in December.

The £500 trademark move, financed by the Camelon Labour Party Social Club, was prompted by Murphy talking about a distinctive Scottish operation in last year’s leadership contest, and activists in Falkirk discovering Scottish Labour had not legally protected its own name.

Jeez, a social club trying to find a way back, to Labour’s old roots, how embarrassing can it get for Labour?

It reminds me of the Wheeltappers and Shunters social club, they were more entertaining than Labour, could ever be.

ED Miliband and Jim Murphy yesterday failed to rule out a power-sharing deal with the SNP after the general election, despite increasingly frantic demands from the Conservatives to do so.

In a clear sign Labour now views the SNP as a potential Westminster partner, given the latter’s poll ratings, the UK and Scottish leaders defied repeated calls to rule out a Lab-Nat pact.

An alliance, on a vote for vote basis, that David Cameron, clearly doesn’t want to see come to fruition.

    REPOST

Our friend “Afrend” – he who hides behind TOR, according to the Mods – was recently hawking a new tool on here – the ability to instantly establish who had been posting how many times on any particular thread.

I suppose a few of you have taken up “Afrend”‘s new tool.

Could someone who has please tell us how many times “Republicofscotland”, Mr Goss, “RobG” and Miss “Macky” have posted so far on this thread?

    Thanks.

  • Habbabkuk (la vita è bella)

    Mods

How many of the frequent/regular posters on here (apart from “Afrend”, whom you’ve already identified)use TOR, thus making it impossible for you to establish anything at all about them (including sock-puppetry)?

Can you supply the nicks they post under?

re the murder of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov:

According to Russian media, 5 suspects have been arrested on suspicion. Needless to say, they are described as being Chechens and equally needless to say, one of them is reported as having confessed, saying he did it “for Allah”.

The regulars on this blog like to think of themselves as a sceptical bunch, not easily hoodwinked by official propaganda.

What do they think of these arrests and of the likelihood that those arrested are indeed the guilty parties?

One at a time with your comments, please, don’t all rush forward together.

RoS? Mr Goss? Tony M? RobG? Monseigneur Golding? Porkfright? Macky…? 🙂

  • Habbabkuk (la vita è bella)

I do hope the sceptical bunch is not going to stay as silent as it did when the grooming gangs were making the headlines!

  • Porkfright

Habbakuk-“I think that the Little House knew something about it-don’t you?”

  • Jemand

If the Kremlin was directly behind Nemtsov’s murder, then the arrested suspects would have been recruited with an arrangement for their being discovered, apprehended, soundly tried and properly convicted for an entirely plausible but false plot that exonerates the Kremlin of any involvement. Why would Putin do it any other way?

Then again, Nemtsov might have been murdered for the reasons that we will soon read about.

Or maybe it was a false flag operation with some actor playing the part of Nemtsov, which was intended to draw attention away from Russian aggression in the Ukraine.

I’m looking forward to some gripping theories about how the last scenario was implemented, including hologrammitic buses obscuring the kill shots, use of thermite somewhere, an ugly FSB officer posing as a beautiful model girlfriend and an elaborately contrived, though very compelling, connection to Mossad and Russia’s support for the Assad regime.

  • John Goss

Thank you Paul Mobbs. Somebody who speaks for me and hopefully all but the trolls. Arrest David Cameron. Arrest George Osborne. All because of their dirty deals. Of course who gets arrested? Not Osborne. Not Cameron. Paul Mobbs. Arrested under what abysmal piece of legislation – anti-terrorism. As well as operating outside the law they have introduced laws to deal with the general public over the non-existent terror threat. You see how they use these acts, aimed originally at Islam, for everybody, even the peace-loving Quakers. They have no morals.

Tell me Cameron, how did you manage to lose those nuclear weapons from South Africa?

I like this one, Jemand! May one assume that the real Nemtsov has been abducted and is being imprisoned on Diego Garcia?

Anyway : how about some “thoughts” from the usually vociferous brigade – Mr Goss, Ms Macky, Rzepublicofscotland, Tony M, GobG, Monseigneur Golding, Porkfat…?

Did you acquire your expertise in Gladio when you were in the US Navy or in the US Army? Allegedly.

The largest military machine ever seen on Earth, larger than Russia and China put together, countries which we are constantly told are a threat.

This Frankenstein stomps around the world; constant war, and the plebs who finance it through taxes are constantly told they are under threat.

Of course, if the plebs realised just how much they are being conned/robbed there’d be revolution on the ‘morrow, and so there’s a huge propaganda machine to convince the plebs that black is white, to keep them in a constant state of fear, and, most importantly, to keep them paying their taxes, eye-watering amounts of which go to the military-industrial complex.

    It’s Eric Blair’s 1984; it really is.

ISIS, the Ukraine ‘crisis’, etc, it’s just all spin and lies and propaganda to enable big corporations to make big profits. These people are total criminals and psychos and don’t care how many innocent people get slaughtered in pursuit of those profits.

They own the politicians, they own the media, they have an army of propagandists, and they’ve created the la la land we now find ourselves living in.

I’m sure you’ll see a rational debate about all this sometime soon on the likes of the BBC.

  • RobG

Habba, do you really believe that events in the Ukraine are good reason to push all life on Earth to the brink of nuclear annialation?

If you do, then I would strongly advise you to seek psychiatric help.

  • Mark Golding

A massive troop training range is located in Yavoriv in western Ukraine near the Polish border. During Soviet times, it served as the westernmost military district in the Soviet Union. Since 1998, though, it has been used for joint exercises by Ukrainian forces together with the United States and NATO. Yavoriv is also the site where US soldiers want to train members of the Ukrainian National Guard for their future battle against the separatists. According to the Pentagon’s plans, American officers would train the Ukrainians on how to use American artillery-locating radar devices. At least that’s what US Army in Europe commander Lt. Gen. Hodges announced in January.

    http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/germany-concerned-about-aggressive-nato-stance-on-ukraine-a-1022193.html

Approaching is Obama’s finest hour – Agent Cameron has predictably adhered to orders and will send ‘trainers’ to Yavoriv thus grabbing Obama’s hand. But will Obama let go?

  • Mary

Yes Mark. The feeble looking Hammond was boasting this morning about the UK ‘trainers’.

  • Macky

RobG; “If you do, then I would strongly advise you to seek psychiatric help.”

Yes, I’m a bit worried about Habby, as he seems to be cracking up before our eyes, in fact ever since Mary posted a comment about politicians & child abuse, he’s gone to pot; he’s now requesting stats on who been posting the most, yet there is only one sad obsessive who has been glued to this blog all day today, from morning to night; instead of taking time out to enjoy the spring weather, he has been posting his inane gibberish all throughout the day.

However I fear that even the best psychiatric help won’t do any good, too far gone is poor old Habby.

Latest Leon Brittan news: Former Home Secretary’s Yorkshire home among those raided in child sex abuse probe:

Detectives searched his property near Leyburn as part of Operation Midland, which is looking at allegations of child sex abuse focusing on Westminster. They also searched a number of other properties last week.

A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police yesterday confirmed officers from Operation Midland, had on March 4, conducted searches at an address in Westminster, an address in Leyburn, an address in Farnham and an address in Grantham in connection with their inquiries.

There’s also this: Police search home of Lord Bramall as part of paedophile sex abuse inquiry: Scotland Yard officers swoop on Surrey home of former chief of the defence staff, Baron Bramall of Bushfield, as well as properties linked with Lord Brittan in a co-ordinated operation.

Lord Bramall is also recently deceased. That does seem to be the pattern.

  • lysias

Sorry, my mistake. It’s Brittan the article says recently died. Lord Bramall is still alive, at the age of 91.
