    @ Macky

Leave it out. “Catastrophic for health” 28 days. Say that to those in the space station.

I agree there most definitely can be improvements. If you improve the environment one lives in automatically you will improve the people in it.

We all have needs. privalages and entitlements meet those needs. Egalitarianism should work for all. The point at which we can work towards. The capitalist system works but needs regulation.
The philosophy of life needs to be changed for a chance at sustainability.

Incredible changes need to occur for a communistic outlook and we need to look inwards change our ways.

Sorry to be rude, we are all part of the thorny bush.

    Just practising, of course.

Hundreds of troops converge on Wiltshire for major Army exercise77turday 7 March 2015 in News

Hundreds of troops and armoured vehicles have congregated on Salisbury Plain as the British Army tests its ability to deploy its heavy armour on operations.

The major divisional exercise, labelled ‘Exercise Tractable’, is designed to test the ability of 3rd (United Kingdom) Division’s Land Armoured Task Force to deploy from barracks via a centralised Mounting Centre, to rail, air and sea points of embarkation.

It sees the movement of around 1,650 personnel and up to 570 vehicles, including Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks and other heavy armoured vehicles.

Mrs Blair has picked up a lucrative legal contract with the Albanian government, a little over a year after her husband began acting as its official adviser.

Mary , We were the Albanian air force during the Kosovo war supporting Thaci the Organ Seller. The organ harvesting business had many shady characters from Israel involved.
Blair is revered for his bombing of the Serbs during their civil war. It’s payback time.
The characters Blair has supported would fit into any real scary horror film alongside lowlifes like Habba the Troll.

This is from the Mail. Speculation that there might be a divorce. Highly unlikely between this greedy pair of psychos.

‘Middle East sources have told us that Cherie is never with him on the two to three days a month he spends in the region in his capacity as peace-building envoy for the United Nations-led Quartet.

She does go to the region for her own business, but always at times when he is not there. Not one of the numerous Middle East correspondents we spoke to remembered seeing the Blairs together in recent times.’

The sidebar demonstrates the corruption within the political system. IDS hands a contract to a Bliar scion.

‘HOW TWO OF THEIR SONS WORK AT BLAIR TOWERS

Cherie is actively involved in the careers of two of her sons. The eldest, Euan, 30, started out working for merchant bank Morgan Stanley, but then took a job with the Australian employment agency Sarina Russo Job Access. He is now listed as Acting CEO and works in its London office.

Rather oddly, that office is on the seventh floor of 1 Great Cumberland Place, the concrete block overlooking Hyde Park which also houses the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, the Cherie Blair Foundation For Women and the Cherie Blair Organisation.

The Sarina Russo agency is massive in Australia and now expanding rapidly in Britain, where it has eight offices and employs almost 100 people. It owes its meteoric rise in this country to one contract — a Government contract to do with the welfare-to-work programme.

The Government sends it unemployed young people and the firm trains them in how to write a CV, how to dress for interviews and so on. It does so as a sub-contractor of Serco, the Government outsourcing company.
But why the agency needs to be run from what is increasingly dubbed ‘Blair Towers’ is a mystery.

Cherie is also helping her second son, Nicky, develop a sports management business called Magnitude. This is an ‘e-sports business’, which manages teams competing on computer games online for prize money. It is also trying to operate as an agency representing footballers.

Nicky owns 40 per cent of the business and another 40 per cent is owned by his business partner Gabriel Moraes. Cherie is a director and holds the remaining 20 per cent stake.

Cherie takes an active interest in the business. She took time out of her busy schedule to meet a promising 17-year-old Mexican footballer by the name of Raul Mendiola, who has signed up Magnitude as his agent.

Magnitude, which began as a limited company, posted a loss of nearly £17,000 in 2010 — the last year for which accounts are available — and in 2013 it was turned into a partnership, which will mean that it no longer has to file full accounts with Companies House. And, surprise, surprise, Nicky has a desk and dedicated phone line in the Blair office building in Cumberland Place. It is also his business address.

This arrangement came under scrutiny from Westminster Council when officials made an unannounced visit and were concerned that Cherie might be breaking council tax rules by using an office for her two charities — for which she gets an 80 per cent discount on business rates — alongside a commercial undertaking.

But in fact, Nicky’s phone line and desk were in the offices of Omnia Strategy, which pays full business rates.’

Jay; “Leave it out. “Catastrophic for health” 28 days. Say that to those in the space station.”

    Seems that you are such a bleeding heart liberal that you can’t read;

Try reading it again, especially the bits that refer to “held for years”, “400 of these had been detained for more than six months”, “more than 100 had been locked up for longer than a year”, then there’s huge number that safe harm, or even try to kill themselves; I think one of the longest held has been in for more than ten years, would you like to trade places to see if it catastrophic for your health ?

  • Mary

Yes Macky. The appalling Yarls Wood, worse now than in NuLabour’s time. They created it.

Tickets to see this play for those who think YW is a picnic.

Yarl’s Wood play puts audience in detention

Serco again who featured in my BLiar link earlier.

‘The decision in November 2014 to give Serco a new £70 million eight-year contract to run the centre has been criticised by Natasha Walter, of Women for Refugee Women, who said “Serco is clearly unfit to manage a centre where vulnerable women are held and it is unacceptable the government continues to entrust Serco with the safety of women who are survivors of sexual violence.”‘

Shame on them. This is their board getting fat from the obscenities. See their multiple interests.

I well remember the Serco fraud in the out of hours doctor service in Cornwall too. Their ethics are as bad as those of G4S.

Yes, Mary, just practising. It’s called manoeuvres and every army does them.

You know, like the emergency services regularly hold practices.

Eminently sensible, otherwise, apart from anything else, you’d get people grousing away about all that money spent on

Do you have a particular problem with that, you old grouser?

  • Habbabkuk (la vita è bella)

all that money spent on military forces which never practice and get rusty.

PS – before you mention the rogue finger again, Mary, see that finger as one of two fingers forming a V sign in the direction of leafy Surrey (average semi price : £45.000). 🙂

Craig wrote about the horror hole. Links on ‘beaten up’ and ‘raped’ on the link to the piece.

    Trophy Pictures
    July 29, 2014

I just saw the British Prime Minister do something, so appallingly tasteless I could not believe it was happening. BBC News just showed a dawn raid by immigration officers on a well-kept home. So far, so tasteless.

Astonishingly, once the evil foreigners had been herded up and taken off to detention camps, where they risk being beaten up or raped, Teresa May and David Cameron arrived, and posed in the victims’ kitchen for trophy pictures.

I thought that what Blair has done since leaving Downing Street had debased the office of Prime Minister to an astonishing degree. But, posing for a stunt in the neat and clean kitchen of some poor immigrant, David Cameron had plumbed levels of tastelessness that again make me realise that the UK has become a country whose values I no longer recognise. The disgusting complicity of the BBC in filming this stunt is equally astonishing.

Are there really so few people left who have the slightest idea of what constitutes decent human behaviour?

    Macky

You appear to have found someone new to quarrel with (Jay).

Did you return to Craig’s blog from your self-imposed exile just to pick quarrels with people?

After all the bloody noses you used to get – in the end, from Craig himself as well as the Mods – I’d have thought you’d think twice before returning here.

Are you like a broken-down old pug returning to the ring because of the money?

  • Macky

@Mary, yes as soon as private companies are allowed to run what should be a government system, than it is inherently corrupted by definition, as the aim is always to maximise profits, so keeping people longer than nescessary, and keeping them locked in their rooms for as long as possible, means more money, money that is taken from all of us, including Jay, RD & Habby.

Do you see that article I linked to about the inevitable consequences of militarising the Texas border control ?

  • Macky

@Habby, why don’t you stick to telling your lies to your new colleagues at Sqounk, as nobody here believes them or wants to believe them ? You can engross yourself with the others seeking refuge amongst the stars & planets ! 😉

  • Jay

    @macky

“People fleeing torture or persecution to seek refuge in the UK should no longer be detained for more than 28 days in immigration removal centres, as evidence suggests spending any longer locked up can be catastrophic for their health, the report by a cross-party group of MPs and peers recommends today.”

I don’t disagree Mackey to your sentiment just some of the yard we
    Are being spun.

Months in doors and full of neuroleptics. Tell me about it.
Now get a job other outing the world to rights. Or is that what we should all be doing…

“The military headquarters for the defence of Mariupol has announced that Russian-backed fighters are assaulting Ukrainian troops in the village of Shirokino, just east of the port city, this morning.”

So much for Putin respecting the ceasefire.

  • Republicofscotland

A poll last week, for the New Statesman newspaper, showed that 75% of Labour candidates for the 2015 GE, did not support the renewal of Trident.

Yet there, it is, in the manifesto, to renew Trident, the admission of their renewal of Trident, plan came after a senior figure, Lord Wood, said that he had wanted Labour to abandon, the parties commitment to spending £100 billion quid on new WMD’s.

Trident, and its mobile counterpart, nuclear subs, must be renewed or built, no matter what, as the frontbenches of Westminster, and the Lords, have already taken the huge backhanders, from arms and defence orientated companies.

  • Republicofscotland

At least one candidate, for London Labour in Scotland has some decency, Lesley Brennan, standing for Dundee East, refused a £1000 donation from former war criminal Tony B-liar.

Mrs Brennan said thanks, but no thanks, for the donation, however the bigwigs (If you can call them that) at London Labour in Scotland, refused to decline, the mass murderers donation, stating Mr B-liars, donation is for the Labour party, and we will use it.

  • Resident Dissident

Oh dear Mr Goss appears to be in charge of the ceasefire line maps – next stop Diego Garcia.

  • Uzbek in the UK

    John Goss,

I have great suspicion that you are a troll. Nemtcov has been murdered, Vlad the Kremlin Giza has undoubtfully produced Chechen scapegoats and decorated Ramzan Kadirov (Chechen gansta president) with yet another state order and yet you are providing links from Novorossiya (KGB sponsored media links). I am asking are you a troll?

  • Macky

UK violated article 10 of the Minsk agreement days ago when they sent their “trainers”.

Seems US & UK are doing their best to sabotage the ceasefire.

  • Uzbek in the UK

That guy named Snowden must have very smelly egg on his face right now. He who revealed us great secret of surveillance lives now in the country which stepping further and further into Stalinism.

By the way (to those who will claim about 86% of Vlad the Cremlin returner’s support) in 1953 (year that moustache bastard expired) Stalin enjoyed 100% support and dozens of people have been killed in human crash during his funeral.
