Your wife’s grandfather would be ashamed of you supporting the Nazis when he fought against them. In 1941 and 1942 there was fighting for control of Debaltsevo from the German Nazis. I think the pair of you have been disappointingly ineffective, mutually wasting each other’s time and energy. You both have some understanding of the local languages. You should be seeking out obscure blogs, Facebook and Twitter accounts etc, and attempting between you to collate such information into a more coherent picture. You would both thereby help to overcome the propaganda battle that has come to characterise this conflict. Cooperating, you could become part of the solution. In opposition, you contribute to the problem.

I haven’t been to a demonstration in ages, though I was in George Square in Glasgow the day before the Independence vote. What a buzz on that day! I wouldn’t have missed that for anything.
The Friday and weekend after was miserable though. No one seemed to want to go out after the No result was announced and the whole city seemed lifeless and dispirited.
But the Independence campaign bounced right back up again the following week. People were disappointed but they weren’t going to let that stop them. They’ll get away from the Westminster Warmongers yet!

Operation Protective Edge is the killing machine of the 2010s, to Israel’s everlasting shame. That is not how Israel perceives it, nor, increasingly, world, and especially American, Jewry. I write as a proud Jew, seeking to rid Judaism of the incubus of a hubristic-militaristic Israel that needn’t have taken the form it did, as emulator of Nazi-style practices against a resident population on land which could have been the refuge of both. Gaza today is Dresden, rubble as far as the eye can see; only Hiroshima and Nagasaki look worse. Children playing amid ruins, families in tents and caravans, building materials intercepted by sea and turned back, infrastructure, UN schools, hospitals demolished—an Israeli society, passive onlookers, casual, uninterested, deaf to the cries of suffering and privation. Judaism mocked at the highest levels.

Hamas Rebuffs Blair’s Allegations Quartet Links Rebuilding Gaza With Ceding Palestinian Rights
February 18, 2015 “ICH” – “MEM” – Senior member of Hamas’ political bureau Mousa Abu-Marzkouk yesterday revealed that Quartet peace envoy Tony Blair is trying to blackmail Hamas in return for reconstructing the Gaza Strip.
On his Facebook page, Abu-Marzouk revealed five conditions put by the Quartet that Hamas has to meet in order to make way for the reconstruction of what the Israeli occupation destroyed during last summer’s 51-day war in Gaza.
Abu-Marzouk said: “Once again, and in the name of the international community, Tony Blair is exploiting the tragedy made by the Israeli occupation that includes the destruction of homes and making people homeless.”
Expressing deep concern about the devastated people in Gaza, Abu-Marzouk said: “Destroyed homes of Palestinians in Gaza became shrines to Blair and his likes. Blair says that there is no reconstruction unless these five conditions are fulfilled, and Hamas has to agree to:
Accept the Palestinian reconciliation.
Accept the political programme based on a Palestinian state on 1967 borders.
Reiterate that Hamas is a Palestinian faction with only Palestinian goals and it is not part of any Islamist movement with regional goals.
Adopt the two-state solution as a final, not temporary, solution for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Send an assurance message to Egypt that Gaza is not a terror base for Sinai terrorists and hold talks with the Egyptian government to stop terrorism in Sinai.”
“These are the conditions for Hamas to be accepted by the international community as well as the Quartet’s conditions for rebuilding Gaza and improving living standards,” Abu-Marzouk said.

My priority is not about indulging in intellectual posturing, in the luxury of the examining of the political & historical merits of all sides so as to appear fair & balanced; my priority for which I am very “unfair” about, is instead always the real mass murders of innocents in the real present of now, being carried or enabled by hypocrites who claim to be acting for the victims best interest; note the double emphasis of the word “real”, in contrast to the imaginary Benghazi massacre, or the fake Assad gas attack or mythical Iraqi WMDs, etc.
