Honoured to give the keynote speech at Amnesty’s conference on torture in London yesterday. Then dashed back to Edinburgh for a very romantic evening with Nadira – and Cameron!

Cameron says MPs can be enriched by having outside interests.
Oh sorry. I got that wrong. 🙂
Cameron says that Parliament can be enriched by MPs having outside interests.
All eyes on Greece (except Michael Fallon’s);

This from the war enthusiast Lord Graham “Jockstrap” Stirrup in todays Torygraph.
“Russia is playing a very dangerous game of chicken by encroaching on Britain’s airspace and there is a growing risk one of its bombers could collide with a passenger plane.” [false flag watchers take note].
“Russia was becoming more aggressive and Britain must give serious consideration to arming Ukrainian forces.”
I wonder if he has any shares in the arms industry?
He is also a keen supporter of Israel:
5:12pm Lord Stirrup (CB): “My Lords, of course we should recognise the state of Palestine—when that state exists. It patently does not exist at the moment, so what is the purpose of recognising an unreality?”

“Visit to Israel, 26-30 January 2014, to speak at security conference and participate in panel discussions; transport and accommodation provided by Institute for National Security Studies, Tel Aviv University”
A petition calling on agent Cameron to announce an immediate and total British withdrawal from NATO is in reality a non-starter.
Of course the window display of NATO is a peacekeeping force provide training and advice such as the aptly named ‘Implementaion Force’ in Bosnia, the ‘International Security Assistance Force’ in Afghanistan which morphed into the ‘Resolute Support’ mission in Afghanistan all strictly coordinated with the UN Security Council; absolutely.
This credibility veneer makes certain and ensures NATO has established ongoing funding, aegis and endorsement.
The back-end of NATO IS HER SECRET ARMIES –
Unearthed by Danele Ganser and others more recently details how the CIA and MI6, in collaboration with the military alliance, NATO and European military secret services, set up a network of clandestine armies in Europe, Syria and Libya.
These secret soldiers are trained on remote islands in the Mediterranean and in the now MI6 training center in Gosport Hampshire by SAS Special Forces. The network was armed with explosives, machine guns and high-tech communication equipment air-dropped at secret locations.
In some countries the secret army linked up with right-wing terrorist who in a secret war engaged in political manipulation, harassment of left wing parties, massacres, coup d’états and torture.
Such evidence must be presented in the International court of law.
I might add the NATO personnel remuneration is very good, overseas allowance is supplemented by imminent danger pay, special and incentive pays. No married accompaniment but if you keep your mouth tightly shut you might end up a with the rank of major general… and a huge pension.

Mods
“Hmm, well you did try a bit of puppetry yourself once, Habbabkuk.”
_______________
Rather tendentiously put, Mods, if you don’t mind me saying so. Once, as the vehicle for a little essay at humour.
Not quite the same thing as sock-puppeting to give the impression that other people are on your line of argument, I’d suggest.
Any way, thanks for reminding us all about me (named) and remaining coy about the identity (“several other names”, no less!) of the latest sock puppet.
“Its surreal, a delusional wannabe dayan “eretz israel” melikowalski,is going to challenge POTUS Obama before a joint session of the Congress and Senate, ostensibly uninvited !? Something is very wrong. Can the canaries here shed some light, apparently swindlers list spielberg has been commissioned to come up with some snazzy props for the pulpit (bomb cartoons are passe), as its getting increasingly difficult to con the cattle with words alone.”
_______________
Good post and somehow familiar, except that the usual “goyim”, “rifkind” and “dershowitzery” are missing this time.
MOD : since you’re on the look out for sock puppets, have a look at this one as well, there’s a good chap.
Mr Scorgie
“A rather stupid analogy if I may say so Habbabkuk. An intelligent observer would test the water scientifically – not taste it!”
_____________
You’re right, Mr Scorgie, but perhaps overlook two things:
1/. scientific testing would take time and resources perhaps not immediately available. Hence it would be better to be prudent and, having seen the scum on the surface, avoid tasting (you will recall that my recommendation was not to taste but to not taste!)
2/. can you suggest how one could “scientifically test” the contents of websites like voltairenet, informationclearinghouse and globalresearch?
Over to you, Mr Scorgie, for a scientific response, thanks!
More from the Torygraph – reported as fact!
“In the deadliest blast of a bombing campaign by pro-Russian separatists, an explosive device was thrown from a car towards marchers who were commemorating the deaths of more than 100 protesters in last year’s revolution.”
…………………………..
But not to worry, the security services have arrested four people who admitted, under interrogation, to not only the crime but to being trained and armed in Russia.
Yes, of course they were!
Yes, POTUS is that one again.
The other puppeteer’s various identities were used at different times. It hasn’t held ‘conversations’ with itself.

Come off it Noddy. I recall when you were banned you kept trying to come back in about a dozen different guises, Red Robbo being just one of them.

Habb.
You got caught sockpuppeting, at least act like a man, and stop trying to weasel out of it by using the excuse of, “Oh I only did it as kind of fun thing.”
Grow a pair.
Meanwhile more dastardly doing at the Den of Iniquity, aka Westminster.
Straw and Rifkind caught, red handed brilliant, what’s more distressing for the Westminster elite and Whitehall, is Rifkind is the chairman of the Intelligence Committee.
Yet, here he is, agreeing to prostitute himself for cash to a STATE owned Chinese company.
Surely this close to a general election Rifkind must swing from the gallows, to appease the backbenchers and voters.
As for Straw you don’t get 30 odd years of political service, under your belt, without having some sort of, flair, for wriggling out of dire situations.
“It hasn’t held ‘conversations’ with itself.”
Yes. Habby actually had conversations with his sock-puppet, telling himself how wonderful he was, how rubbish everyone else was and so on. A bit like he does now with Anon and Res Diss.
It was funny and odd..
And kinda sad.
And lonely.
Definitely weird.
And a total fraud.
Mr Scorgie
Only saw yours of 14h07 just now, so disregard mine at 15h17! 🙂

_______________
A slight exaggeration as always, Mr Goss, but never mind.
I just wanted to say that I thought you’d have been pleased to hear from one of your fellow saboteurs from your British Motor Corporation days.
Are you still in touch with the dear man?
Natural parliament contains only about 0.7% MP235, which is not enough to be useful. A complicated and highly expensive centrifugal process can be used to “enrich” parliament, but unfortunately for each enriched MP produced by this method, eleven depleted MPs will be produced as a by-product. These could be safely dissolved into the oceans, but instead they are generally stored on-site where they constitute a toxic hazard. Firing them into Iraq would produce birth defects.

I hope you realise that by not naming and shaming him you’re depriving Mr Goss and similar intellectuals of the opportunity for a spot of castigation from time to time in the future?
Unless of course the “other puppeteer”‘s a mate of Mr Goss (in CM blogging terms), in which case I can understand why you’re keepong his identity under wraps.
According to the National newspaper the US firm Halliburton, have partnered up with another firm (whose name alludes me at the moment) to be allowed to extract gas using (UCG) Underground/Seabed Coal Gasification.
So far in Scotland Fergus Ewing, Minister for Energy hasn’t written off such excavations for gas.
Halliburton have a long history of going into war torn cities, (mostly destroyed by the US and the west) and rebuilding infrastructure, whether the country wants them or not the country is then left with a huge debt.
Halliburton have also been charged, over a billion dollars for their part on the DeepWater Horizon disaster Halliburton’s cement wasn’t up to standard, and they were caught deleting computer files showing how the cement collapsed under pressure.
Pressure that was within the requirements of the well heads.
Halliburton and BP created an ecological disaster, and that’s why I have concerns about them fracking offshore for (UCG) Fergus Ewing and Holyrood must close the loophole, with regards to offshore fracking.
Moody’s downgrades habby’s reputation to junk status, outlook negative.

Don’t worry Habb, as long as you don’t answer yourself back.
Plus you have some very esteemed company, Einstein’s son Eduard was schizophrenic, as was Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd and John Nash the brilliant mathematician.

@Habbabkuk “Re Future Shock: no, I tend to avoid futurology. Experience shows that futurologists always get it wrong (Hermann Kahn, anyone?)while almost never predicting what was, in retrospect, before their noses (Berlin Wall and South Africa refer).”
Heh, some truth in that. But the concept behind ‘future shock’ was that the disorientation associated with culture shock could be experienced at home. Just leave for a while, and things will have changed so much upon your return, that it would effectively be a new culture. So you end up without any familiar grounding, which causes a great deal of stress. The constant change produces this at a lower level on a permanent basis.
Alan Toffler (the author) also came up with “War and anti-war” a few years later, which I didn’t find anything like as worth reading. (Indeed, I gave up halfway through.)

But enough of this nonsense. What I really wanted to do was to warn you that some nutter is pretending to be you over on Squonk.
Here’s the nutter’s latest; the give-away that it’s not you is the paranoid, self-delusional tone, with its faint suggestion of “ad hominem”:

Nice one as the CM Blog seems to be continuingly hemorrhaging Leftist commentators, but maybe that’s the plan; how else to explain that your offensive comment not only got through, but is allowed to stay, as in comparison my snow white polite comment of this morning which was subjected to an out of the blue pre-moderation, and finally released after being chopped in half.
Again, being so obvious, is probably the plan.”

_______________
I would not object to such a referendum and have no doubt that the British people would vote to remain a part of NATO by a wide margin.
To be noted:
1/. that since the War the British people have had, when push came to shove, little truck with those who have sought to weaken the UK’s defences. This applied especially in the matter of unilateral nuclear disarmament, perhaps best exemplified by the disastrous effect of that proposed (Labour) policy in the “longest suicide note” election;
21/. I have no doubt that a “yes, we should remain in NATO” result would immediately be contested and declared invalid on the grounds of vote-rigging/massive electoral fraud/improper interventions by business leaders/MSM and especially BBC bias/etc, etc, etc – ie, on the same grounds as various people seem unable to accept the outcome of the referendum on Scottish independence.
