Squonk, many thanks for the technical advice; I never knew any of this stuff until I had to fall back on ancient computers (running both Linux and Windows) Hopefully this coming week I should have a modern computer running again

This may or may not annoy those who may or may not work in Cheltenham

I will go look up the word *traitor* in the dictionary again

“John Goss, are you reading this?”

He’s probably imbibing some of his favorite red again, Clark.

But fear not, regular service will doubtlessly be resumed tomorrow after he’s received his instructions for the day from Moscow Centre.

There seems to be a bit of a pause here

    Wonderful stuff!

All the psychos staring at their flickering screens, wondering how to nullify the enemies of the state

It is so comic book it is beyond belief

RobG, sorry not to have answered you recently; commenters I believe to be pro-Kremlin shills have been occupying a lot of my time.

Regarding depleted uranium, I hadn’t been aware of the storage / stockpiling problem until our conversation happened to highlight it. It has heightened my interest because a likely solution presented itself quite quickly; I found something practical that could actually be done, and I found that empowering.

If you look on the thread with our conversation, you will see that I have offered a suggestion to help decrease the radioactive pollution from the Fukushima disaster. I have also outlined a number of techniques that have been used from this blog to successfully raise public awareness and actually address some other serious issues. With persistence and ingenuity, we could possibly apply these to the Fukushima disaster.

I’d rather that our conversation be continued on that thread where it won’t be continually interrupted by general banter, and by the pro-Kremlin propagandising and associated abuse currently plaguing this most recent thread. Please let me know, here or there, if you’re willing to continue. I hope you will.

Clark; “RT does propaganda, and our corporate media does propaganda too. Here, they marginalise and discredit dissenting voices such as Craig’s; we’ve seen that repeatedly. In Russia, they just kill or imprison them”

    I presume that this is a reference to the murder of Boris Nemtsov, in that you agree with RD that the Kremlin must be responsible, if so & in the complete absence of any proof, can you provide any logical reasoning that would address the following points;

Do you think that Putin is really that crassly stupid that despite his popularity & ratings in the polls being sky-high, he would decide, now of all time(!), to eliminate a political non-entity with next to no real support inside Russia, & choosing no less to bump him off right outside the Kremlin for all the world to see ?

If it was the case that he wanted Nemtsov dead, would he not more realistically just have made him mysteriously disappear ? Or do you think Putin wanted to make an example of this guy to intimidate the barely existing opposition, and/or to show how much power he’s got and how untouchable he is ? !

If you really believe anything like the above, can you please provide convincing reasons why all this should not be laugh at as a massive crackpot conspiracy theory ? Thank you.

Republicofscotland; “Last night I watched the film Good Night, and Good Luck, and the comparison, between Senator Joseph McCarthy, and some of the establishment mouthpieces, that inhabit this blog is, well, remarkable”

Indeed; I was thinking the same last night when McClarkly was doing his “Are you now or have you ever been known to make a statement that could possibly be beneficial to those evil Russians” !! 😀

  • Macky

Clark; “Here, they marginalise and discredit dissenting voices”

The ghost of Dr David Kelly might disagree.

  • Macky

Clark; “I was referring to the many Russian journalists that have been murdered to silence criticism of Kremlin policy and the Russian oligarchy”

Well I’m glad to note that you don’t support RD latest crackpot conspiracy theory; how do you know for sure who killed these Russian journalists & why ?

Why do you want to “wait for evidence to emerge” iro Nemtsov, but not these journalists ?

  • Clark

Macky, we do not know who killed Dr Kelly, although it seems that the UK authorities helped to cover it up. Again, there are many possibilities. “Many actors, playing dark games”, I think he said.

Why are you trying to smear me? You know I support Palestine, you know I oppose NeoCon policy; a whole host of issues we hold in common. It seems that this one issue of the Kremlin’s reputation outweighs all of these for you. Why is that?

  • RobG

Clark, I would be delighted to debate this further, but not buried away in an old thread

I want people to read this

Craig doesnt seem to have much understanding of nuclear science, but he was stationed in central asia, where a lot of soviet bomb tests were carried out

Maybe Craig can say something about this (and in particular Fkushima), which might kick off a good conversation

  • Clark

Rob, we’re not ready to push this publicly yet. We need to prepare more; we need to learn from each other, and find out what we each know. And it’s a mess here on the front thread, and will remain so until Ukraine settles down, I think. We could continue at your blog if you prefer, but I won’t be able to think straight here, what with John Goss constantly accusing me of “supporting fascists” etc, which is not going to stop now.

  • Clark

Rob, we’re going to make mistakes while we’re learning what we need to know. We don’t need to hold ourselves up for public ridicule. We can always post stuff on the front thread each time we hammer out something substantial. Well, not if it’s a fresh thread and we’re off topic; this is Craig’s blog, after all. We should treat the exposure he affords us with respect.

Prince William was shown on TV tonight, seated and dressed in traditional Japanese robes, at dinner with Japanese notables. We were told that the food about to be eaten was grown locally just outside the 15mi!e exclusion zone surrounding the doomed Fukushima power station in meltdown.

I almost felt sorry for him. He was being used in a propaganda exercise to demonstrate that there was nothing for anybody to worry about. Trust that there was no locally sourced fish or seafood on the menu.

  • Macky

Clark; “Why are you trying to smear me?

How am I smearing you ?!! All I’m doing is asking you to explain the reasoning behind some of your freely given statements, opinions & povs.

Clark; “It seems that this one issue of the Kremlin’s reputation outweighs all of these for you. Why is that?”

This has nothing to do with the issue of the Kremlin’s reputation, but respect for logical & convincing reasoning, yes I’m a sucker for rationality, it helps me make sense of the world.

Clark; “we do not know who killed Dr Kelly”

Yes I know, hence the reason why I said “might” & not “will”; but interesting that you are prepared to admit that our wonderful free democratic system of Government would be willing & able to cover-up embarrassing murders.

Clark; “why do you think so many Russian journalists have been murdered?”

I don’t know, and the difference I don’t purport to know, and I don’t cast evidence free assertions; these are what “smears” actually are.

  • Clark

    Macky, 11:08 pm:

“McClarkly was doing his “Are you now or have you ever been known to make a statement that could possibly be beneficial to those evil Russians” !! :D”

    Macky; 11:43 pm

“How am I smearing you ?!!”

You’re a liar Macky. You’re a disgusting propagandist for liars and murderers. You have no place on the blog of a brave whistle-blower. Leave Craig Murray’s blog.

  • Macky

    Clark; “You’re a liar Macky”

No, Clark, I think you will find that you were smearing yourself with your imitation Russian hating witch-hunt last night; I just pointed it out after somebody else commented on it.

  • Macky

@Clark, Ouch ! That spotlight is too bright !!

Over & out, you sad pathetic bore.

“Somebody obviously wanted Nemstov dead, but who? Perhaps his silly quote if true “I am afraid Putin will kill me” was the cause of his death. It would not be in the best interests of Putin to have a main opposition leader martyred, so perhaps it is his mafia banking friends. Who knows?”

In my opinion, the media response to his death is another element in their attempt to ramp up the demonization of Putin as part of their propaganda campaign. Here’s a piece by The Saker who essentially makes the same point by suggesting that the death was a false flag:

@Danial My guess is that Nemstov was killed by an ISIS hit squad who have been
    operating in Ukraine.
As regards to these Jhadist`s it only takes one weekend to completely brainwash a person
who is looking for something meaningful in their life. Once brainwashed they will obey
their programmer who will use a set of command words and they will not have the slightest
awareness that they have been programmed.

Of course that kind of programming isn’t restricted to ISIS as any European teacher visiting an Israeli school will attest, and as Ilan Pappe has confirmed.
