    “There’s another film I’d like to talk about, but you wouldn’t let me, remember?”

    Well I remember that I wasn’t interested in talking about it which is different to the implication of your comment!

    You’re welcome mate. I definitely recommend watching the act of killing as well. An extraordinarily original film.

    Please don’t misinform. SNP is not backtracking on Trident. Please read the First Minister’s interview with the Guardian in full.

    ‘We will never vote to renew Trident’

    Sturgeon reiterates the SNP’s opposition to Trident, the UK’s nuclear deterrent and says her party would never vote to renew the programme. But she says this stance would not prevent a deal with Labour on “a vote-by-vote basis”.

    Mislead you say? This is the opening par from the article I linked to:

    “Nicola Sturgeon has dropped demands that a minority Labour government must cancel a new Trident nuclear weapon in return for the Scottish National party’s backing at Westminster.”

    It is not misleading to describe a politician who is dropping a previous demand as ‘backtracking’. I didn’t mislead anyone.

    None of this is misleading either:

    The SNP are a pro-NATO, pro-monarchy party led by a legally trained professional politician and a former banker which is arming the Police and creating authoritarian databases.

    You have better recall than me Clark.

    ~~~
    Surely Craig will post soon. If only about the political storm brewing ref the SNP, Liebour and even Carlyle’s Sir John Major weighing in today with some unpleasant remarks about the SNP’s motives. It is almost like the referendum all over again.
    This was QT last night from Glasgow.
    ‘David Dimbleby presents topical debate from Glasgow. The panel includes Liberal Democrat chief secretary to the treasury Danny Alexander MP, SNP minister for Europe Humza Yousaf MSP, leader of the Scottish Conservatives Ruth Davidson MSP, Labour’s deputy leader in Scotland Kezia Dugdale MSP, journalist Toby Young and crime writer Val McDermid.’
    First 35 mins refers.
    @Clark, hopefully this won’t come too much of a surprise for you, but you are forcing me to relegate you to Habby treatment status, in that you can distort, misrepresent, or downright lie about me all you want, as I won’t waste time countering your nonsense; I will of course respond if I think you have posted something worth responding to, or perhaps to pull you up when you are being obnoxiously rude to somebody or just plain hypocritical yet again.
    TV Election Debates: Letter To PM’s Media Boss
    Read the letter broadcasters have sent to Downing Street about the Prime Minister’s involvement in election TV debates.
    http://news.sky.com/story/1440135/tv-election-debates-letter-to-pms-media-boss
    Pictured is Craig Oliver, Agent Cameron’s spin doctor. He does the spinning. His wife, Joanna Gosling, reads it out on BBC ‘News’. Cosy.
    ‘Gosling is married to Craig Oliver, the Director of Communications for 10 Downing Street.[25] The couple have three children.[26] Oliver is a one time head of network programming at ITV News,[27] and former editor in chief of the BBC Six O’Clock and Ten O’Clock News. In May 2009 Oliver was appointed as the new deputy head of the corporation’s multimedia newsroom, replacing Mary Hockaday, who had been promoted the previous month to be the new head of the operation that oversees all BBC News output.[28] Oliver was appointed Controller of English, BBC Global News in April 2010, with responsibility for multiplatform commissioning of all BBC Global News English output.[29] He took up this role after editing the BBC’s 2010 general election coverage.[30] He was appointed to the position of David Cameron’s Director of Communications in February 2011 following the resignation of his predecessor, Andy Coulson,[31] taking up the position at the end of that month.’
    Glenn_uk; “No, certainly not in the case of Benghazi. That’s been examined to death, with the filthy Republicans doing their damnedest (and completely failing in every case) to plant even a halfway decent slur. It’s hoped just screeching “Benghazi!” alone will do its job, there’s simply no “there” there.”
    Well, it may be a “fishing exercise”, but you can’t say that it has “been examined to death”, with an extra 50,000 pages to go through, maybe they’ll land a prize catch or two;
    Dave, I admire all scientific research, particularly research that is not directed at ever more efficient methods of slaughter. However, just about all this research is based on mathematical constructs which even the physicists can’t agree upon, and maths itself is a flawed language (go ask a mathematician to work out the square root of two).
    The human race are like children, sitting on the beach, and building sandcastles against the incomming tide.
    And one more thing..before I go to the pub…
    When I read about it the Headlines..I thought why the hell do They always write That..
    “The Pilot Did a Fantastic Job…etc etc etc..usually when the pilot was completely useless..Yes he crashed and at the the last moment he managed to just miss all those houses (at least he didn’t hit either one of the Twin Towers..must be a good pilot then)”
    Now it just so happens, that I was trained by the best Pilot in The World Sir Derek Piggott.
    So it seems was Harrison Ford…
    That News wasn’t Faked…
    and he did a brilliant job..Seriously…
    (well it could have been faked,,but nah,,it was real)
    Some people are like that..even Actors..They ain’t making it all up.
    “Harrison Ford ‘battered but OK’ after plane crash”
    “Actor, who has a passion for planes, taken to hospital after crash landing Second World War trainer on a golf course in California”
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/11453614/Harrison-Ford-injured-in-plane-crash.html
    Cheer Up Clark, sorry for that,
    Whilst Clark is cheerleading NATO’s latest grab in Ukraine, let’s take a look at what central bankers, their financial arm, have been getting up to:
    “British fraud investigators are looking into possible fraud related to liquidity auctions held by the Bank of England during the financial crisis in 2007 and 2008.”
    http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/03/04/uk-britain-boe-fraud-idUKKBN0M02GU20150304
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11450714/SFO-launches-investigation-into-Bank-of-England-auctions-amid-rigging-fears.html
    What does it mean?
    Retail/Investment banks have been caught rigging markets, laundering drug money etc, but this is one of the prime central banks.
    Clark; “I continue to insist that the image on the left was taken from an aircraft, not a satellite.”
    The last time I viewed my home on Google Earth, I zoomed onto my forecourt and noticed that I could make out the model of my car, and this was the freebie limited version; as always you are tring to detract from the fact that no valid photographic evidence has ever been provided to substanciate all these many periodic assertions, over a year’s worth now, of “Russian Invasion”; indeed the only clear photographic evidence that did indeed show Russian tanks, was an attempt at deception, as it was quickly shown that the photos were from 2008, during Russia’s war with Georgia; why would they need to do that ?
    Instead you have made a silly song & dance over the picture sott.net, yet the picture itself tells you were it is from;
    https://www.google.ru/maps/@52.2291388,21.0109434,180a,20y,41.71t/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=de
    You can even determine the actual part of the road shown, and yes the resolution is marginally lower, but if you screen capture & then use a graphic program to blowup the image, you get the exact same resolution.
    I’m out with Phil’s telescope, trying to get some pictures of Jupiter:
    Herbie, so what you’re saying is I have to propagate Kremlin approved lies, or you’ll smear me. I do NOT approve of the interference in Ukraine’s elections. I don’t know what’s happening over there because you people keep telling lies, but if it turns out Russia is about to start behaving as badly as US/UK did, which is NOT impossible, then you will have been a cheerleader for people’s deaths and suffering.
    Artillery are combine harvesters. There. Am I a fucking acceptable human now? You keep on like this and you will earn my hatred. I just want the truth.
  • Phil
    Whilst Herbie is cheerleading elitist murdering scumbag Putin let’s sing along with a homegrown Abba singing idiot.
    “UKIP Candidate Mandy Boylett Takes Aim At PM”
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8y1AFWXlE0
    * Just another inferior comment from someone not logical enough to understand that Russian oligarchs are going to save us from ourselves.
  • Clark
    Herbie, do you accept that the Kremlin uses Gazprom to enforce its foreign policy? Do you accept that the Kremlin blackmailed Ukraine to accept their deal and abandon cooperation with the EU? Do you accept that turning off the gas kills people, particularly the vulnerable?
    Am I allowed to care about these matters, or does having such concerns make me evil?
  • Herbie
    The truth is simple enough.
    NATO and its banker friends are in a war for their survival.
    The battle in Ukraine is one part of this war.
    What’s going on in Ukraine is not as you seem to insist a people’s revolution.
    It’s a coup by bankers and their NATO friends.
    Whether through foolishness, ignorance of whatever you are supporting the bankers agenda whether you like it or not, against the overwhelming interest of the majority of people on the planet.
  • technicolour
    Macky: I see your mild criticism (‘silly song and dance’) is indeed written in a short and comprehensible sentence.
    But what can all this mean?
    “The last time I viewed my home on Google Earth, I zoomed onto my forecourt and noticed that I could make out the model of my car, and this was the freebie limited version; as always you are tring to detract from the fact that no valid photographic evidence has ever been provided to substanciate all these many periodic assertions, over a year’s worth now, of “Russian Invasion”; indeed the only clear photographic evidence that did indeed show Russian tanks, was an attempt at deception, as it was quickly shown that the photos were from 2008, during Russia’s war with Georgia; why would they need to do that ?”
    Something about your car and er –
  • Herbie
    Clark
    You’re probably led to evil in your inability to see the big picture.
    For someone who spends so much time gazing at the stars I’d have expected you to at least appreciate the concept.
    But no, when it comes to politics you can only do wee stuff.
    Don’t worry. That’s not uncommon.
  • Herbie
    “don’t they have bankers in Russia?”
    Sure do, and BIS bankers at that. China as well, and nearly everywhere else except Iran, Syria and N. Korea.
    Big issue. Big picture. Big bankers.
    What’s the game?
  • Clark
    Macky, 8:37 pm
    “but if you screen capture & then use a graphic program to blowup the image, you get the exact same resolution”
    Untrue. Macky, mistake or lie?
  • Phil
    Herbie
    “Whether through foolishness, ignorance of whatever you are supporting the bankers agenda whether you like it or not, against the overwhelming interest of the majority of people on the planet.”
    Right back at you sunshine. By supporting Putin and the Russian oligarchs all you do is long for another insane self serving elite to replace the one that ails you now. The king is dead, long live the king.
    There are compelling reports of mass defiance against conscription on both sides in Ukraine. This type of action gets my support. For what that’s worth. Words are cheap as chips.
    Of course if you had the courage of your convictions (bankers, bankers, bankers) you would be agitating here in western Europe against the political and business elites that power NATO. If supporting Putin online is all you’ve got you are at best a laughable wind bag. At worst some kind of propagandist. So tell us, what do you actually do to tackle these bankers you rage against Herbie?
    Macky feel free to tell us what you actually do as well.
