It’s probably fair to say that politicians, both in the UK and US, realised that the people wouldn’t stand another Iraq-style adventure in the Middle East.

There’s now a complete hysteria about ISIS, all whipped up by the neo-con controlled MSM, with calls for ‘boots on the ground’.
But I think even the most rabid reader of the Daily Rag realises that there’s something completely Alice In Wonderland about ISIS, whether it’s the origins of these nutters, or their funding, or the fact that they are a ragtail army with no heavy weaponary or proper communications.

Peacewisher Ba’al is an enigma. On the one hand he supports the downtrodden, on the other he would like to see us cyclists driven off the road. True, he does not, or chooses not to see who the aggressor is in Ukraine, but then it is surprising how many others support the coup and civil-war funded by Yankee-doodle-dandy big business.
Since the year 2000 there have been 34 (not 3-4) US military interventions including what they euphemistically term “humanitarian aid” but discounting CIA led regime changes such as Ukraine. And Vladimir Putin, who has been president since then, is the bad guy.

It is our planners who are effectively, by their planning actions, make cycling a danger and are pitching cyclists against car drivers. As for the moderation taking the Guardians action as a guide here, I’m not so sure. Its easy for the Guardian to scream, but their moderation policy is
WITHOUT RHYME OF REASON, or, they are unable to distinguish between what they call #’community standards’ and satire/cabaret and/or downright political facts.
They have banned me for supporting Craig’s stance on torture and his stance on the Guardians pathetic destruction of hard discs with a hammer, no swear words or personal denigration on my part, they made a fool of themselves destroying information that was already stored elsewhere.
If they now class all of their NATO critical comments as Russian trolls, a very easy label/argument to throw up for further tightening of public responses and comments, then that should not necessarily mean this blog should also be subjected to such irrationality from its , if I may say so, very moderated and egalitarian moderation.
