A Game of Substitution 436

“J K Rowling’s always been batshit insane, this is nothing new”.
“Why are people just surprised about J K Rowling now – she has been this mental for years.”
“The, I presume, mentally ill, J K Rowling”
“J K Rowling should get F back to England”
“Don’t feel too bad for that lunatic J K Rowling” – followed by a sexual reference to her partner.

The newspapers would be full of stories tomorrow about this dreadful cyber-abuse. But that will not happen because all those tweets were about me, and all sent within the last twenty minutes, from identifiable unionist tweeters, some well known. Substitute Craig Murray for J K Rowling and they are verbatim. Just do a twitter search on craig murray and see for yourself.

I have never much been into Twitter. When I post here it is automatically tweeted, that is all. It is only today I realised how much you can see of twitter conversations and the interesting links between people. I had not realised that the execrable Carl Gardner, former very junior government lawyer and anti-Assange campaigner, has such warm links with anti-Muslim pro-torture campaigner Douglas Murray of the Henry Jackson Society, Vice President Jim Murphy. And how very interesting to see Blair MacDougall, Ross McTernan, Allan Massie, Euan Mccolm and numerous others from Scotland’s corporate media, all tweeting each other about how absolutely ridiculous it is to believe that the UK state would ever be involved in anything nefarious.

The same people were, of course, tweeting each other euphorically about how fantastically Jim Murphy had demolished Nicola Sturgeon in the leaders’ debates. It subsequently turned out nobody in the country saw it the same way as their smug little gang. I fear they will find the same is true now. Indeed, in the two hours since I posted, over twice as many people have already read about the false flag schemes, as the entire membership of Scottish Labour. That is more than the circulation of the Scotsman. There’s a thought.

The same people, of course, told you I was lying when I blew the whistle on torture and extraordinary rendition in 2004. The security services and the British Government would never do such a thing, they said. I was insane, they said.

Everybody now knows that I was telling the truth about torture and extraordinary rendition, and the Labour Government and the establishment shills were the liars. I am telling the truth again now and they are lying again now.

    MARY !!

    Including this one, that’s 5 in a row! Hope you noticed and that you feel cheered.

    How about your occasional round-up of Israeli “genocide” in Gaza, it’s been a while since you posted the last one.

    “No hint so far of where the original ‘copy’ of the re-tweet image came from – strange?

    Perhaps the answers are here – http://globalvoicesonline.org/2015/04/02/analyzing-kremlin-twitter-bots/

    Throw in a red-herring and you’ll always catch a few kippers! Have you ever thought Evgueni that the original came from Twitter and has since been removed? The obvious I suppose does not occur to you. It does not occur to you that Nemtsov might not have been the saint you and Resident Dissident brass him up to have been.

    What did you think about Dmitry Sokolov-Mitrich’s assessment of how ordinary Russians have gone from admiring the west to despising it in just over twelve months (that’s those still living there of course)? And how was your reconaissance mission to Ukraine? Did your friends there support your views about what an improvement it has become under the fascists?

    “BTW, congratulations to Evguény for taking apart one of Mr Goss’s fabrications so well.”

    I guessed you wouldn’t read the links provided by Evgueni. 🙂

    There is a big difference Noddy from researching into whether something is right or wrong and just assuming somebody has simply manufactured it because it fits his or her agenda. All credit to Evgueni for doing some research. You can learn from that. I did some too which showed that Vladislav @unkn0wnerror is quite capable of making such a tweet. In fact there was one there yesterday for the same date 22 February which called for Graham Phillips’ dismissal. The question is: who is right?

    So click on my blue name Noddy, you know the same colour as your hat with the bell on it under the photo of me you like so much, and see a photo of yourself. 🙂

    @Clark:

    Radioactive Isotopes. I’ve been ‘playing’ with isotopes for decades, I used to make a lot of Iodine-123 with a half-life of 13 hours. It’s rather more efficient than Iodine-131 but needs a ‘baby’-cyclotron at the point of diagnostics. Another favorite of mine is 18-F, fluorodeoxyglucose, which is very safely used in Positron Emission Tomography, a wonderful medical diagnosis tool. Generally, after 5 half-lives have elapsed you’ve not got much activity left.

    Radioactivity, being a completely natural part of Gaia, does not come as a surprise to the human genome. The body has many repair mechanisms to cope with a normal amount of activity. Try measuring the equivalent dose given by a Banana (K-40), high-quality mountain grown Coffee-Beans (much cosmic ray induced activity) even camping gas lights (Thorium indeed).

    Now that Canada is able to measure the quite diluted Caesium activity products from Fukushima arriving on its pacific coast, it is good to review the best advice for dealing with unnaturally highly active radio-elements “do not eat them, do not drink them, do not breathe them!” a reasonable article of the plume arrival is here https://news.yahoo.com/fukushima-39-radioactive-ocean-water-arrives-west-coast-141659725.html

    I don’t necessarily agree with this statement “Within twenty years time we can expect half of the entire population to get cancer at some point in their lives.” It’s fairly well known inside the nuclear-controlled worker sphere of knowledge that tending to 100% of people will get cancer at some point in their lives, most people who die of old age do actually have a cancer, but happily for many people it is still rare to meet the aggressive strains. Holistically, treatment outside the UK seems to be slightly better than treatment within the NHS.

    Many cancers are trigged by viral pathogens, population-mixing effect and/or environmental co-factors. Nuclear workers who are externally exposed, and I have been exposed to very heavy doses whilst recovering from a small problem with antimatter, surprisingly tend to be measurably 5% healthier than the general population.

    The 10-hour expected life robot that entered the Fukushima reactor shell last week, unfortunately only managing 3-hours of life before being zapped, was at least a good step in the direction of understanding what is left of the systems, what can be done in the future.

    Science always wins over Public Relations, tho’ governments seem to put a lot of energy into PR!
    remember that Sir Terry Pratchett was first a PR guy for British nuclear reactors, before he got into high-energy magic.

    LOL ! Thanks for the morning laugh 😀

    Far from being John Goss “moment”, this is a “Habbabkuk Moment”, as John never referred to ““the indigenous inhabitants of the Falklands”, which you misleadingly like to put in quotes; naturally you were unable to provide evidence for this fabrication when challenged previously, and instead all you could find was a general comment that John made about early European exploitation of South America, a simple comment that both you & Dreoilin both managed to misread, really a case of fools thinking a like !

  • John Goss

    Thanks for your support Macky. I did contemplate taking Noddy on but learnt from Lysias who did not respond to the same tactic yesterday.

    UK opposes international ban on developing ‘killer robots’
    Activists urge bar on weapons that launch attacks without human intervention as UN discusses future of autonomous weapons

    13 April 2015

    The UK is opposing an international ban on so-called “killer robots” at a United Nations conference that is this week examining future developments of what are officially termed lethal autonomous weapons systems (Laws).

    Experts from the Foreign Office and the Ministry of Defence are participating in the week-long session in Geneva which will consider whether increased computing power will eventually enable drones and other machines to select targets and carry out attacks without direct human intervention.

    The meeting, chaired by a German diplomat, Michael Biontino, has also been asked to discuss questions such as: in what situations are distinctively human traits, such as fear, hate, sense of honour and dignity, compassion and love desirable in combat?, and in what situations do machines lacking emotions offer distinct advantages over human combatants?

    The Campaign to Stop Killer Robots, an alliance of human rights groups and concerned scientists, is calling for an international prohibition on fully autonomous weapons.

    I found it almost unbelievable that Tonje Hessen Schei appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning and that the two presenters treated her with respect. The indiscriminate killings in North Waziristan and Afghanistan were highlighted.

    ‘DRONE is a documentary about the CIA drone war, Directed by Tonje Hessen Schei and produced by Flimmer Film.

    Inside the secret CIA drone war. Intimate stories from the war on terror. People living under drones in Pakistan and drone pilots struggling with killing through joysticks in the US.

    The film covers diverse and integral ground from the recruitment of young pilots at gaming conventions and the re-definition of “going to war”, to the moral stance of engineers behind the technology, the world leaders giving the secret “green light” to engage in the biggest targeted killing program in history, and the people willing to stand up against the violations of civil liberties and fight for transparency, accountability and justice.

    This is just the beginning. In the midst of fast advancement of technology and lagging international legislation the film shows how drones change wars and possibly our future.’

    From the Facebook page

    As DRONE is in the midst of of its cinema release in the UK Brandon Bryant appears on HardTalk. Here´s a clip from the interview yesterday.

    We have to stop distorting, tricking, lying, and ultimately fighting. All of us. Every last one of us. We have to recognise that deception, no matter how minor, is an act of hostility, which undoes love and respect. There is no “minimum threshold”; deception, denigration and manipulation, no matter how minor, are ALWAYS unacceptable.

    Evgueni, thanks; I doubt much dishonesty actually emanates from John Goss; more likely he has been seduced by the output of a vast system designed to deceive. I find your analysis hard to follow because I can’t read Russian; could you please summarise the likely path of generation of that Tweet please?

    Giyane, if there was ever any plan for dealing with meltdown, I have never encountered any sign of it. The engineering approach was to ensure it could never happen – Murphy’s law appears to have been ignored. Alvin Weinberg developed the original Pressurised Water Reactor design. He was sacked when he argued against licensing it for civilian use.

    YouKnowMyName, thank you very much for that; please get more involved with the nuclear discussions as it looks like there is much that you can teach me and others.

    Habbabkuk, I wish you well.

    Macky, Habbabkuk, John Goss; the fighting has to STOP. It is no use blaming each other. To stop the fight over there we have to start with respect and cooperation right here.

    Mary, at the time of writing I see no comments from you today, and my thoughts are with you.

    Best wishes to all; apologies for any failing in my words or my intentions.

  • John Goss

    “To stop the fight over there we have to start with respect and cooperation right here.”

    There is not supposed to be any fighting over there after the negotiated peace by Putin, Merkel and Hollande. It continues on a daily basis with pro-Kiev troops bombarding civilians in the Donbas. What’s more we (the UK) are supplying more military equipment and training to these fascists.

    I agree that peace would be good for the world Clark if it could be brought about. But you cannot expect people like me to support fascists in Kiev, any more than I would fascists in Pinochet’s Chile, Mussolini’s Italy, Hitler’s Germany or Franco’s Spain, or even the lesson modern-day Spain has learnt from Kiev, where freedom to criticise the government no longer exists.

    Arguing, diverting, sliding, and making out that something ‘could change’ is indeed ripe here.
    Nuclear apologists, take note of the global cancer rates since Fukushima went critical. Or alternatively show me the extend of radiation and what the so called experts say the impact will be.
    Continuously making out that the combined impact of radioactive nuclei, once fixed in the ground now let loose by a ‘greedy technocrats’, who think they can’t do wrong, greedy technocrats who so obviously do not want to look into alternatives to their unsustainable, feckless drive to spread fissionable materials around the world./

    CAN YOU NOT SEE WHAT THE COMBINED EFFECT OF WINDSCALE, THREE MILE ISLAND, CHERNOBYL AND FUKUSHIMA ARE DOING TO US?

    A nuclear war will be down to those who perpetuated this wretched necessary technology on to us and who made sure that only certain actors can develop and refine it.

    Britains next generation of dangerous pressurised water rectors will be a coupling of French and Chinese technologies, how great will that be for France and China, with many Chinese comanies trying to make some of the highly specified parts for these reactors, and at a time were politicians and the gullible public can’t see the benign energy glut surrounding us.

    I wish that Britain will experience another major incidents, and the US and Russia and and, because we have not learned at all, we’re stuck with the psychopath we’ve got.

    And at the next election, although some will vote differently and the limitations of the FPTP system will become blatantly apparent, we will vote for the same old self serving weasels. They are unpopular everywhere, but they are comm,anding the press and TV, public broadcasting importation my arse.

    Talking and debating will change very little and what change will come will be too late. Why?

    Because obese humanity value their possessions and comforts more than the future of their children, or that of the planet.

    I’m not debating this, think what you will.

  • ------------·´`·.¸¸.¸¸.··.¸¸Node

    Mary : “Node Would you say that the splitting of the troll’s comments is perhaps deliberate to create ‘forum sliding’ which you described here as a disruption technique?”

    I don’t think disruption is his primary goal here, it’s a by-product of his behaviour. We all have our own theories about Habbabkuk. Mine is that he is desperate for attention, like a child screaming “Look at me!” He’s not clever or pleasant enough to get it by conventional means so he gets it by being annoying. I never respond to him and it absolutely infuriates him, for example ….

    Responding to him [time and effort] >> pleases him >> encourages him.
    Ignoring him [effortless] >> infuriates him >> discourages him
    It’s your choice.

    Quite right Nevermind. I can only assume that those who support the madness, have no children or grandchildren. Or if they do have children and grandchildren despise them so much they have no concern for their future. You can tell I have children and grandchildren. I would like them to be able to live their lives out like I have had the pleasure of doing, and hopefully a few more years yet.

  • John Goss

    Astute Node. I wonder where Habbabkuk got his ‘pot’ from? It has to be inherited! Mind you a few ‘self-made’ business people can’t even write their own names.

  • Mary

    He came on here as a Zionist troll. That is at the core.

    ~~~~
    YouKnowMyName, John Goss and Nevermind. I go into the isolation pod for four days next week for my dose of Iodine 131. That is the end of my cancer treatment as scheduled. I am not looking forward to it at all as I still have breathing problems and the consultants categorically state that no member of staff can come near so everything is crossed.
    The upside is that I will not be posting from there so Dreoilin will not be able to make any further catty remarks for a while.
    The death of the pod of dolphins last week on a beach 200 km south of Fukushima was very sad. Who knows why they died? The corporate media have the cause as an impending earthquake!
    eg http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/japan/11531987/Deaths-of-100-dolphins-in-Japan-triggers-speculation-of-earthquake.html
  • Clark
    Dreoilin, 10:58 am, what can I do to cheer you up? Mary is facing the effects of radioactive iodine ablation treatment; iodine was on my mind so I was worried for her, but I am thinking of you, too.
    Rome is burning, 10:59 am; what do you suggest I do with Habbabkuk; murder him? And then murder those who would avenge him, such as Anon and Resident Dissident? And then murder those who would avenge them, on and on? The ONLY option is to make peace, so I wish him well with that in mind.
    Nevermind, I have seen no “nuclear apologists” here. The disaster is not that the Fukushima reactors “went critical” – “Critical” is the normal operational condition of a nuclear reactor. The problem with renewable sources is the lack of international political cooperation necessary to construct and operate international energy distribution systems – mutual support for when, locally, the Sun isn’t shining and the wind isn’t blowing.
    International cooperation when we here all hate each other? We’re failing.
    Robot Reveals Inside Of Wrecked Nuclear Plant
    The shape-changing bot enters the disaster zone through a pipe, recording the first eerie images from inside the mangled reactor.
    14 April 2015
    Play video “Robot’s Views Of Wrecked Reactor”
    A specially-designed robot has become stranded after capturing the first grainy images from inside one of the melted reactors at Japan’s doomed Fukushima nuclear plant.
    It withstood the deadly radioactive environment but then became stuck two-thirds of the way through its mission and had to be abandoned.
    You don’t have to be here for me to make any remarks I like, Mary. And stating a fact is not “making a catty remark”.
    “Dreoilin, 10:58 am, what can I do to cheer you up?”
    I’m as happy as Larry, thank you, Clark.
  • Clark
    Mary, 12:23 pm:
    “[Habbabkuk] came on here as a Zionist troll”
    Actually he started by trying to infuriate a visiting Israeli Oniel, and he has continued by trying to infuriate whenever possible. Habbabkuk presumably believes that aggression offers some kind of solution. I fundamentally disagree.
  • Mary
    Clark. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
