Royal Baby? Fuck Off 177

Another over-privileged right wing little tosspot is born to live off our taxes. I wish harm to no baby. But every one of the babies the UK killed in bombings in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya was worth just as much as this one. If the murder of one of those babies by the British state had received a ten thousandth of the attention of the birth of this baby to live high on the British state, the world would be a slightly fairer place.

I see Craig is doing his bit for the monarchy – how an intelligent man can think that posts like that will seriously make a single person warm to republicanism is beyond me.

Mr Goss, that supporter of the Syrian and Korean monarchies continues to push his doggerel. Even William McGonagall would bluish at the latest effort.

Counteracting all the lese majeste here-

A poem for the new princess by yours truly. It is in the Japanese haiku tradition, following the pattern of 5-7-5 syllables:

    “Another Kate” by Abe Rene

    We’ve another Kate
    Another Kate better off
    Are we, truly bless’d!

Those who think they could do better standing on their heads are welcome to try. 🙂

McDonald’s is very popular with the british public, but is still low quality tat that is bad for you.

Popularity proves nothing other than there are lots of simpletons.

“poor little mite” my arse. What planet are you on? If you really want to see a “poor little mite”- try standing outside a UK food bank for a few hours. You’ll see plenty. Try Nepal, try Syria, try Gaza with its 500 plus “poor DEAD little mites”- (summer of 2014 c/o Psychopath Israhell). Try ANYWHERE but fucking Buckingham Palace & its long term resident scroungers. And while you’re at it, try looking at THIS, in comparison to the “poor little mite” born today.

Well Craigs post has definitely warmed me towards republicanism.

But I’d imagine it’s not the only thing beyond you.

Not a day old, and already she’s an “over-privileged right-wing little tosspot”. That’s why I called her a poor little mite, because she is the target of such astonishing hostility and invective. For what? What’s she done?

Too bad if you don’t like my selection of words. I stand by them.

    Kind regards,

At least Craig is not afraid to speak his mind, and whether you agree with Craig or not you should applaud free speech; that is, if you agree to such concepts.

  • Resident Dissident

    @RobG

Of course Craig can say what he wants – just as I can if I disagree. Yes I applaud our free speech.

    ROS

You like myself were already a republican but we are currently in a minority – the idea in a democracy is to use free speech to change their views not to entrench them.

“At least Craig is not afraid to speak his mind, and whether you agree with Craig or not you should applaud free speech; that is, if you agree to such concepts.”

I know for a fact that Res Diss does, and unlike in Saddam’s Iraq, Gaddafi’s Libya, Assad’s Syria, Khamenei’s Iran, Putin’s Russia, or any other of the regimes idolised by the Eminences, you are absolutely free to say whatever you like, up to and including calling a baby a tosspot.

  • fedup

Yes I applaud our free speech.

My arse! You are only applauding because you can do jack shit about the blackguards that we are. If only you could have your way there would be no dissent, as your fecking dissenting posture is inimitably genuflecting to all things ziofuckwti and arse licking the supporters of the said fuckwitry.

The UK is utterly discredited. The Scottish and the English and the Cornish and the Welsh loathe the regime that CIA imposed on their pipsqueak ruined junta.

Shrimpton should have let them go ahead and vaporize the City usurers and toffs slavering over 12-year old gymnasts at the London Olympics. That looks to be the only way to root them out.

  • Puzzled

Its very puzzling all this sudden yiddish support of the royal family?!! Do they want us in England to bomb Iran for them?

    Giyane,

I’m all too aware. I left out a lot of bits. The state has a lot to answer for, with ten males committing suicide every day, some linked to unemployment and feelings of inadequacy, and many linked to the way the family courts deal with them when they become fathers whose marriage did not work out. I know it may sound unnecessary to point out, but those males were once babies. And now their own babies will grow up grieving instead of having the chance for a happy childhood.

My point is that you don’t need to mention the murderousness of Britain’s actions abroad, which I agree make its colonial past look quaint. The state does a good job of manufacturing all kinds of violence and PTSD right here at home.

That would be true if,the democratic process was all above board however, even in the UK,it’s illegal to call for the abolition of the monarchy, with a lengthy prison sentence, awaiting anyone who tries.

    Here’s a sobering thought.

The new royal sprog’s grandfather was one of Jimmy Saviles best mates. Most people who came into contact with Savile knew he was weird, or worse. Does anyone seriously think that Savile was not thoroughly vetted before he was allowed anywhere near our future king?

So it is fairly safe to assume that the new sprogs grandpappy knew what Savile was like. But did not care, or worse.

These Saxe Coburg Gothas are a rum lot wouldn’t you say. Uncle Dickie Mountbatten and Phil Edinburgh’s sexual tastes are fairly well known too.

So the sprog is born into a long line of wrong uns.

Almost makes you pity the poor mite.

  • Tony_0pmoc

Some new information for me to display my complete and utter ignorance…I bet you didn’t know either (nor probably care – and I understand that…but you are probably not as old as me)

Inspiration for the song came to Harrison when reading the I Ching, which, as Harrison put it, “seemed to me to be based on the Eastern concept that everything is relative to everything else… opposed to the Western view that things are merely coincidental.”[11] Taking this idea of relativism to his parents’ home in northern England, Harrison committed to write a song based on the first words he saw upon opening a random book. Those words were “gently weeps”, and he immediately began writing the song. As he said:

“I wrote “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” at my mother’s house in Warrington. I was thinking about the Chinese I Ching, the Book of Changes… The Eastern concept is that whatever happens is all meant to be, and that there’s no such thing as coincidence — every little item that’s going down has a purpose.

“While My Guitar Gently Weeps” was a simple study based on that theory. I decided to write a song based on the first thing I saw upon opening any book — as it would be relative to that moment, at that time. I picked up a book at random, opened it, saw ‘gently weeps’, then laid the book down again and started the song.”

Eric Clapton played it on the original Beatles recording…I guess he though his mate was better…

Now of course you don’t believe me, but at the same time as The Beatles were going into The Recording Studios at EMI..my eldest sister’s husband was also working for the same company at the same time in the same place..He would see them come into work too..and knew who they were.

My Brother-In-Law was a Top Electronics Designer..He was Designing Weapons of Mass Destruction (he wasn’t that good cos I once beat him at Chess…and he looked at me how did you do that? (but he was a lovely bloke – like my other eldest brother) a committed atheist,,,he used to play football with me…and take me for long country walks…

Then one day…I guess something hit..maybe it was John Lennon in the pub after.

He came home and told my sister.

“I have Resigned”…She looked at him as if he was completely insane..We have two young children here..How are we Going To Pay The Bills?

I used to take their Son to see his Dad when he was 13 years old (He’s a Professor of Maths Now)

    I liked his Dad.

    Such Moral Courage and Brilliance.

He didn’t want to design weapons of mass destruction any more.

Yes, the royals are a part of the British state. They serve no useful purpose that couldn’t be served by some elected official that we could remove every 4 years or so, and whose distant and many relatives wouldn’t be entitled to sip from the cup of comfort while so many of our ordinary human kids will end up living out of a food bank in a small inadequate apartment at an over inflated rent, etc.

Still, all this adoration of people like the royals or the TOWIE “stars”, and z listers on “I’m a celebrity” or “Big Brother” is one way to distract the masses from worrying about what a shit hole they have to live in.

The costs as you say, are borne by us, and I object to my hard earned money being used to support this family of weirdos. Supposedly insignificant, we aren’t allowed to know how much it really is for security reasons…although I fail to see why knowing how much it costs to protect them would give us much of a clue to what measures are used.

Nor are we allowed to know about many other things that our money pays for, this family of blue bloods being excluded from normal rules and regulations.

People say that they are a tourist attraction, but I’m wondering if that is particularly significant outside of the the London bubble. Ten days a year in Scotland hardly brings makes a difference to our tourist trade.

Incidentally, the adjectives to describe people, or articles from Scotland are “Scots” or “Scottish”. The word “Scotch” is used by educated people to refer to whisky, mist or eggs.

I understand it is also used by people who dislike Scots or Scotland in order to irritate, and, of course, by the uninformed.
