What you say about being able to remove an elected official (by which you mean a President, I suppose) every 4 years is correct only on the assumption that he or she has been elected by direct suffrage.
As you know, however – you DO know , don’t you?- most Presidents are appointed by national parliaments and not by direct suffrage. “We” cannot therefore remove them.
