I have rarely seen a more succinct post – and there is nothing to take exception to. Congrats!
I take exception to the words “Standard” and “Janner” being used in the same sentence.
As in “Evgeny Lebedev’s Evening Standard”, I’d guess. Reposting:

They’re going to do him after all. For the best, IMO, justice has to be seen to be done, Also, though, innocent until proven guilty. Those allegations have to be substantiated.
But:

Trial of facts, and the most likely outcome of a ‘trial of the facts’ would be an absolute discharge, which is neither punishment nor conviction,” the CPS said.
You leave a lot unsaid in this post, Craig.
Daniel & Habba – class act.
Very Zen.
A fine way to deal with the unspeakable:
“Wovon man nicht sprechen kann, darüber muss man schweigen.”
Presumably this post alludes to his absence from the court room?
Has somebody got to him?

No, I doubt it. According to the report he has been dealing with dreadful information and has been taking it home and discussing it obsessively at home. It is not surprising that he has been depressed and that his relationship has suffered – the last thing he should have been doing was taking this home.
It’s very difficult to absorb shocking information on a regular basis without it having a detrimental emotional effect, particularly since it is close to home in terms of his professional duties and working relationships. Something akin to clinical supervision would probably have done him a great deal of good. Someone objective with whom he could have offloaded the material weighing him down, in strict confidence.
Sounds like he now has that. I would not be surprised to hear that his family relationships will therefore improve.
Kind regards,
John
